Please @Emmasoft and ponzihater et al, can I get the web address to login to stanbic MMF. I have changed network it’s still the same with the app…I can login to the bank app, the pension app and even the stock app, but I cannot login to the mutual fund app.

Please @emmasoft and ponzihater, is anything wrong with Stanbic IBTC mutual fund platform?
I have not been able to login for days now.

@emmasoft , my journey with IBTC Mutual funds has started. I funded my account yesterday morning and it was credited to my Mutual Funds account the same yesterday. Interest was also calculated on the amount as at this morning. I hope they keep up this efficiency as i will be topping it from time to time.

Be topping before 7am… I noticed it works better than waiting till 9am

Instead of just ignoring the guy they started using derogatory words on him. He will surely get to his desired destination is just a matter of time, those words are propellants.

Nobody was brought up with silver spoon. We all started small…but we didn’t feel like anybody owe us anything in life. Start small with the two naira and grow gradually…

...read them again and try to make sense of the words; APPROACH & MANNER and how both relate to and can infact impact on the efficacy of a counsel or advice given to someone.

Need I remind you that one of the most effective way of dishing out advice/guidance is by putting oneself in the recipient's shoes and NEVER being JUDGEMENTAL.
Where these 2 are lacking, chances are that your counsel/advice will less likely be taken or have little or no impact when taken.

Most of the views and feedback that was given to the fellow (@ Thazd) were absolutely in order!
...I was infact typing to advice him along a similar line before I stumbled on emaewunmi's post.

In trying to give or offer advice, we should try even more to be HUMAN.

Putting myself in his shoes means “it is really childish to ask in a faceless platform for 5M without any form of collateral…Even my wife went through years of training before I invested in her…we should stop painting issues..tell the guy the truth nobody will give him that money period!

For two days now I have not received any interest payment into my stanbic MMF. Are they having any issues?

Investing in a business and investing in a MMF are two different investment windows.
They are not of the same risk category or involvement of the investor.

MMF is in the category of low risk investment
All things being equal the lower the risk the lower the returns.
Moreover investments are made in different categories to achieve specific purpose.

Please note that you don't have to wait for one year to get your returns in MMF, though rate is per annum, it's prorated such that you earn interest daily and you get credited quarterly.

Most investors use MMF as another form of high interest savings compare to fixed deposits in MDBs. MMF is highly recommended for investors with low risk appetite and also good for emergency fund.

So you can still do both business and MMF.

What I use it for actually…although money wey never enter investment go enter there for some days to get small interest before I pull am out to do the investment.

Redemption was very fast for Stanbic today. Applied 6am and got paid 11 am.

I have logged in successfully 15 minutes ago. It also affected their pension module as well.

All is back now

Just tried and the MMF platform opened. The problem is that I don’t know if my returns are correct

Has anybody been able to log onto Stanbic MMF?
Or is it tomorrow the platform will start working?

They sent a mail out that they'll be down from a maintenance between Thursday and Monday, I believe this would be the reason.

I don't know if any is facing same issues here. I jave been trying to access my Stanbic IBTC mutual fund account through their mobile app and internet access since Thursday to no avail. It will just act as if the internet is bad and wont display anything. I have been using same network for every other thing on my phone without issues. In fact I even use it to open my Stanbic IBTC Bank section of the app.

What seem to be the issue please?

On Friday my balance was #9,104,900. This morning it’s #9,106,700. What is happening?

Somebody should explain this aberration that just happened. My calculation of the interest stanbic dropped from Saturday, Sunday and Monday gives me 2%. I assume this is a mistake and would rectified.

Reinvest profit for March? I thought they are supposed to pay quarterly profits made up of January, February and March?

Stanbic MMF is becoming too slow in updating account. This is evening already and weekend returns have not be updated. Even to reinvest earnings for the month of March is yet to be done.

Na small thing…it’s usually impatience from the side of the landlord that makes matter go sideways. I have one right now that is now begging because he was waiting for me to make a mistake. Court don come carry him properties. He is to pay the months owed before collecting his properties from the court.
Tell your lawyer to add omnibus clause to your agreement.

If after calculating this way and it doesn't not add up or you are not satisfied, you can try and discuss it with them and if you don't get any resolution from there. You can mail CBN through cpd@cbn.gov.ng explaining your situation and efforts done to resolve it. I believe they will intervene.

I have mailed CBN on an issue I have with Arikair and stanbic IBTC, no response from them since January.

My #86,000 is still hanging in the air. Stanbic says the money went tru to Arikair I went to arik headquarters in Lagos, they pushed me back to my bank. Both parties have been doing this to me since November last year.

United Capital dividend was paid on Tuesday

While FGN 2036 bond coupon was paid today.


Just less than a week delay, you dey hala like.

I get tenants wey dey owe me for more than 6 months.


Reason why I no too like am because the income is not predictable and you can't make plans with an unpredictable income

Your tenants are wicked. Three months my body don change for you. The one owing me now for the past two months am relaxing becos he came down with stroke and responding to treatment. You owe me pass 6 months you are off my property.

You not include the interest rate. You only included principal/capital and tenure. That said, let me assume the rate of the investment to 9%.

For me this is the easy way I calculate it is;

N1,000,000 ÷ 100 x 9 ÷ 2

or

N1,000,000 ÷ 100 x 9 ÷ 365 x 182

If the guy use BODMAS he won’t get the right answer.

{9 * (1,000,000/100) }/2

God day. I made a redemption yesterday from my stanbic MMF. I was credited once in my bank account but I noticed from my portfolio and statement that I was debited twice. I sent a feedback on the App about this but nothing has been done. Do I need to do something else?
