Everyone is Dangote online, yet poverty full ground. More than 60% of the population live below poverty line. How can someone say that 200k salary is not a big salary? How much do they pay genuine and legit civil servants of all cadres from Teaching, to Health, and service sector? OP. Don't let anyone deceive you, 200k is a big salary in Nigeria for genuine job. Endure the abuse , save up and only leave when you have enough savings to sustain you while you hunt for another job . |

I have watched from the sidelines as Nigerians from all over SW and parts of SS push for disbandment of SARS. On this account, there has been palpable apathy on SARS protest in SE which has led many people to wonder why it is so. Well the truth is that Igbo youths whether under MASSOB( 1999 to 2015) or IPOB ( post 2015) have faced state sponsored harassment and even murder at the hands of SARS for the crime of hoisting Biafran flags or gathering for Biafra protests or meetings for a very long time now. Often times , this police brutality have been supported on this forum and on other social media platforms by civilian elements from non Igbo parts of Southern Nigeria. Nigerians cheered SARS on when the brutality was directed mainly against Biafrans and are now surprised that Biafrans are not interested in protesting against SARS or police brutality with them. It was all fun when they were shooting protesting flag bearing Biafrans, you loved it and supported it. But now that the chicken has come home to roost, you wonder why the Igbos are not with you. Ending SARS/Police/Military brutality is a noble agenda which I and likewise all Igbos support in our inner minds, because we have been the greatest casualty of this menace more so than any other part of Southern Nigeria. However, we maintain that those who supported and cheered on them or kept quiet when they massacred innocent people because they hate those people or what they stood for, had indirectly empowered and emboldened them( SARS) and must therefore bear the full impact of emasculating them. Spare Ndiigbo from your protests. We will support you from the sidelines. We will not work against you. Try and understand where we are coming from, if you can. https://www.nairaland.com/1189503/mystery-corpses-ezu-river-massob |
nku5:Interesting posts by Igbophobic Yorubas and Nigerians there. They supported police brutality and murder of Igbos whose only crime was carrying Biafran flags around. Now the beast they fed has grown so blood tasty that Igbo blood can no longer satisfy them. They have come for their own blood too. And they are crying foul. |
Juliusmalema:Which natural boundaries? Are you drunk? |
Notasyouthink:She is actually right. Some of you lack shame and self worth and so dragging the rest of us to the floor. Those Igboids and their minority neighbours had repeatedly denied kinship or relationship with Ndiigbo, the right thing someone with self worth and dignity would do is to deny them any claim to Igbo too and return their hate for hate. If they want to be Igbo, let them be the ones begging for it, let's be the ones rejecting them. You guys shameless unity begging has given those lots sense of overbloated importance when in true sense , they are of no need or use to us. It wasn't government that is driving the Igbophobia in Ikwerre,Ika, Ukwuani, Ogba, etc. These people are endogenously Igbo hating. Stop making useless excuses for them. You blame the government today, tomorrow you blame Yorubas, next you blame Hausas, the Ijaws. You do this because you are too weak to accept the truth that these Igboids are the ones generating the Igbophobia intrinsically and are only being helped by the FG and others. You lots should stop this disgraceful attach by force. SE is strong enough, economically and otherwise to stand alone. Stop making us look weak and in need of anyone else. |
Iberiberism. There was no unity between SS and SE. No one can break what wasn't united to start with. IPOB should stop disgracing Ndiigbo. Ogini du ka anyi ji isi cotelu unu? |

kokaneprodigy:Oezil had suitors. There were clubs from USA and one from one Arab country like that. I'm sure that if Oezil wanted a loan deal, he would have pushed for it and gotten it. He never wanted it. He is comfortable leeching off Arsenal while naive fans make up excuses for him. |
kokaneprodigy:Oezil case is football related. Oezil has declined and deteriorated rapidly since 2017. Offering him that contract was ridiculous. Wenger was deluded. His output has been abysmal and disgraceful for that figure he is on. Iwobi was even having more assists and goals than Oezil before Iwobi left. If Oezil was delivering a 350k weekly performance, Arsenal would be in UCL and no one would be complaining about his wages. Oezil has been a monumental failure for the past 4 years. Wenger benched him and made up ridiculous injury excuses for him to protect his ego, Emery benched him, Ljunberg benched him, and now Arteta is benching him. The national team of Germany wanted him out too and he was blamed for not coming clutch for them in Russia. All those managers cant all have agenda against Oezil. Oezil is no longer good enough. Even when Arteta played him, he only made 1 assist in more than 10 appearances, that's not 350k/week performance. Sanchez took only £7m as compensation from United to join Inter as free agent. His contract with United was worth £40m, so he took less than 1/4 of his contract to cancel the deal and leave as free agent to join Inter. The 170k/week salary for 3 years he signed with Inter is worth £28m. So he took massive pay cuts to play football. Oezil as of today insists Arsenal must pay him the full remainder of his contract before he leaves. And you don't see that the man is sick in his head with no passion for football anymore? |
Akinbahm:What is there to understand? Arsenal don't want Oezil any more, just as we no longer wanted Mkhitaryarn. Why are you Oezil fans behaving like Oezil is the first footballer to sign a contract and down the line no longer wanted by his club? What is hard to see here? 1. Arsenal no longer want Oezil 2.Oezil knows this, but is staying put because he is greedy and values money over playing football 3. Sensible players who are still in love with football in Oezil situation usually take a pay cut, settle for a compensation with the club and move to a new club. 4.Oezil will not do this. But insists he be paid his full contract money or stays put even if he doesn't get to play. 5. Khedira another Turk is playing same Oezil game with Juventus currently. Meanwhile Emery Can, another Turk who is interested in still playing football took pay cut and moved to Dortmund from Juve to get game time. |
Spy360:It has more to do with Oezil being a lazy greedy Turk tired of playing football. Deciding to stay in London and leech on club that obviously no longer want his services. Mkhitayarn was in similar situation as Oezil, but being a honourable hardworking man, chose instead to go on loan at Roma to play football while Arsenal shared the loan fee with Roma. Before accepting cancellation of his contract with Arsenal and moving to Roma permanently this season. |
kokaneprodigy:Sanchez left because he still wanted to play football ball. The compensation United gave him was no where near what he would have earned should he have decided to sit at United bench and be playing PR stunts. Even before he left United permanently, he accepted to go in loan at Inter so that he can play. Arsenal would have easily accepted share Oezil salary with a loan club. But Oezil will not accept that. The lazy man is used to easy money. Even now the club want to pay him off, the greedy lazy Turk is demanding full compensation of remaining contract, whereas Sanchez took only half of his remaining contract wages and left. Sanchez actually took just around £7m from United as compensation out of the £40m that he would have earned had he stayed behind. Had he decided to stay in United, lazy around, claim that he is honoring his contract with United while making United board look bad with cheap PR stunts, he would have earned £40m at the end of his contract. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11095/12043323/alexis-sanchez-joins-inter-milan-on-three-year-deal-from-manchester-united |
kokaneprodigy:Ozil never won UCL. The club made it clear that we don't need Ozil. Like United did with Sanchez. But because Sanchez is a player with self respect who still wants to play football, he took a massive pay cut and compensation from United to move to Inter. Sanchez deal with United is more lucrative than Ozil deal with Arsenal both in duration and weekly pay, yet Sanchez didn't decide to sit behind in old Trafford to milk United while trying to make their board look bad with stupid PR stunts. I get irritated when Arsenal fans support Ozil. If Ozil have shame or still interested in football playing, as soon as he was told he isn't in Arsenal plans, he could have easily taken a pay cut and moved to a team where he can play. Sanchez is currently on 170k/week at Inter, a massive pay cut from his 500k/week deal at United. But Oezil will not move or even accept loan deals, yet annoying Arsenal fans blame the board. Come on! |
Firespitterz:I don't know how to play the political correctness game. I say things as they are. Irrespective of whose horse is gored. |
hammer3:1.Ogbakor Ikwerre is the official elite Ikwerre sociocultural organization. 2.Ogbakor Ikwerre remain Igbophobic and Biniphillic. 3. Ogbakor Ikwerre position reflect those of majority of Ikwerre people. 4. Ikwerre on the majority remain rabidly Igbophobic 5. We have always known that there are few sensible Ikwerre people who retained their Igbo identity and remained Igbo. 6. However in group things, the wish and opinion of the majority must represent those of everyone else. After all we know there are Igbos who want Nigeria, yet their opinion cannot represent those of majority Igbos who want out of Nigeria Union. 7. In a nut shell, Ikwerre remains non Igbo. If the tiny Igbophilic minority among Ikwerre who want to be Igbo are serious, they will take their fight to Ogbakor Ikwerre and win them over. Only after this, will Ikwerre readmission into Igbo nation be reconsidered. 8. Until then. Ikwerre are just confused Bini people whose Bini ancestors suffered from permanent brain damage on their language centre, such that they completely forgot their Bini language and had to adopt Igbo language which they mutilated to create the abomination they call Ikwerre Bini language. 9. It is hoped that in the future, Ikwerre Bini people can grow some shame and return back to the original Bini language of their ancestors by going to Bini to recruit Bini language teachers to teach them. Tokwehu! |
Banmeallday:Biafra is Igbo. Igbo= Igbo bu Igbo. Types of Igbos: 1. Igbo bu Igbo 2. Igbo bu Bini 3. Igbo bu Igala 4. Igbo di confused 5. Igbo bu Ijaw. ![]() Only Igbo bu Igbo are needed in Biafra. The rest are not needed. ![]() |
Proeast2:That of fence part will make sense. ![]() Wike had already test run it during the lockdown. So they wouldn't say Igbos started it. ![]() |
horsepower102:This has been my stance on this issue. Ikwerre, Ogba and co are as Igbophobic as Ijaws. The right thing is for Ndiigbo to let them sort themselves out with their Ijaw brothers. This should be common sense. |
BlueRayDick:There is still Bacary Soumane. Arsenal can't be stupid. We lack steel in the middle and creativity upfront. Get Soumare from Lille, get Benrahma from Brentford. Problem solved. Both are available and affordable. |
Sonnobax15:She is from Agbor not Kwale. There is a difference between the two. Though people from those parts of Delta like denying Igbo tag, but Dora is proud of her Igbo identity. I'm guessing you are an Urhobo person, I'd say you mind your business. |
Akinbahm:There is the option of Benrahman too. |
iamoyindamola:Selling Xhaka is not a good business, unless a crazy money like £50m was thrown at us. Xhaka is a good squad depth player, rarely gets Injured. Good mentality too. He should be kept. |
Segedinho:Arsenal played expansive against Westham. Westham was parking the bus and hitting Arsenal on the counter, giving the neutrals the idea that they outplayed Arsenal since most of the dangerous chances of the match fell to them. But to say they outplayed Arsenal would be a lie.

Hassanmaye:The lecturer is not Igbo. He is a "Rivers man". |

Chai. If we can get Zaha. That would be superb. |
Selling Martinez and keeping average Leno was always going to be a mistake that would come back to hurt us, and so it proved. Leno is error prone and causes panic in the heart of our defense with his lack of aerial prowess and timing of his jumps. His positioning is also suspicious. |
