hammerP:Amen! ![]() |
senatordave1:Are they not Efik? Efik /Ibibio /Annang destiny is entwined, whether they like it or not. When you guys are tired of childish bickering, you will unite into one ethnic group like Igbo clans did, and take your place as the 4th largest ethnic group in Nigeria. Until then, keep undermining yourselves with your petulant divisions. No one sees your guys as different people, only your guys see yourselves as such. You are deceiving and putting yourselves under disadvantage. |
MuchAdo:Doctored Census results you mean? By the way, recent census results only have states of residence and not ethnicity or even state of origin. |
hammerP:His point is that his wicked people genocidal plans on Ndiigbo failed to reduce our population. He is really pained and wish for a chance to have a second go at it. ![]() |
senatordave1:I don't expect you to agree. ![]() |
hammerP:Yes! The elderly died in large numbers ![]() Feel like crying now. Remember a story my mum told me of an old woman that refused to leave her home when Nigerian soldiers entered Nkpor and Ogidi fled. Every member of the family begged "Nne" to come along, she refused saying she doesn't want to be liability to anyone. They came back after the war and saw her bones in her bombed house. Chai! These people dealt with us. |
MuchAdo:We lost millions in slave trade to Americas and recovered well. We are Igbos. Our society is built to quickly regenerate lost population, we have Omenala in place to ensure that. Moreover, not many Biafran adults died. Biafran soldiers killed more Nigerian soldiers. People that died in Biafra in millions were mainly children who died of starvation following the Nigerian starvation policy. They were quickly replaced by their parents after the war. If anything, Igbo population post civil war experienced a population boom! ![]() Is Chukwu not wonderful? |
Seerade029:Cry harder. Maybe the 1931 and 1921 Census were doctored as well. You think all Northern minorities that speak Hausa as second language are Hausas? |
PVision2020:Don't disgrace your Afonja ancestor. 1952 Census was not annulled. The annulled census was the 1962 Census. The 1952 Census is recognized as the last true Census in Nigeria. Little wonder it retains Igbo superiority in numbers as seen in 1931 and 1921 census figures. https://books.google.com.ng/books?id=BZfY6O8k3PsC&pg=PA146&lpg=PA146&dq=Was+1952+Nigerian+census+annulled?&source=bl&ots=yOpBhMtSr7&sig=ACfU3U3iqsbfyjUA_JuoHz9OU4xpFpImQg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjX9LDAr8jpAhWHnxQKHbANCxYQ6AEwCnoECAIQAQ#v=onepage&q=Was%201952%20Nigerian%20census%20annulled%3F&f=false

Anyways, I'm Igbo and I know Ndokwa people do suffer from Identity crisis. So I shouldn't be dabbling on theis issue. ![]() I'm just playing the devils advocate and regurgitating what I have had Ndokwa people say about the issue in their forums that I'm a member of. At this moment, I would like to stop playing the devil's advocate and let Ndiosumili come and carry their load ![]() |
Lostz:They are tenants. As long as they remain within Ndokwa, they can enjoy the oil. Any moment they try to have the land they are occupying taken out-of Ndokwa, they will lose the peace they currently enjoy. Ndokwa people recognize their presence in the area and they are now part of Ndokwa common wealth. They would do well not to push their luck. |
Lostz:Go and ask around. They are customary tenants those Ndokwas accommodated in the past. Infact , recently there has been serious quarrel between both groups. You can not carve out a land that is not yours to begin with. If you are tired of staying in the land, you go back to the communities in Isoko your ancestors migrated from. It's even a recent migration. Not more than 200years. I |
Lostz:Isokos in Ndokwa East are customary tenants. They would eventually have to Igbonize if they want to live there happy and ever after, like Igbide Isokonized in Isoko and are not claiming to be Igbos in Isoko Land. |
Agboriotejoye:As a Yoruba, how is all of these any of your concerns? Does River Niger pass through Yorubaland? Why are you hell bent on taking paracetamol for another Man headache? |
rdokoye:Gbam! You have them well figured. |
ahaz:He is a Yoruba man. No minority will invest this much effort on Biafra. All minorities want is to not be included in Biafra. That's all. They have their own issues too, but never as malignant and unrelenting as Yorubas on Biafra. The only people who will go on 24 trying to paint Biafra black are Yorubas and the reason is obvious, they dread Nigeria disintegration. |
