News just reaching me from friends living in ghana says that Ghanian police have gone on rampage arresting any Nigerian Citizen living in their country. Reasons of the arrest is because the Nigerians over there are rejoicing over the victory of burkina faso football team over the ghanaian football team in the ongoing AFOCON. Ghanian citizens became hostile towards the Nigerian citizens over there, beating and abusing any Nigerian at sight. The ghanian police had a field day arresting any Nigerian found. This has definately gone too far. Its football for crying out loud. |
These B.faso boys are rough. They are playing as bullies. |
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arraigned nine of the twenty suspected internet fraudsters arrested and handed over to the Commission by the Joint Task Force of the 4 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Benin. They were arraigned before Justice A. M Liman of the Federal High Court 1, Benin on separate charges bordering on conspiracy to commit felony to wit: obtaining money under false pretence. They pleaded not guilty to the charges. One of the charge reads in part; “that you Osaugwu Uchenna Kingsley (alias Sam Henric), Robinson Lucky (alias Justin Parker), Larry Edomwonyi (alias Mark Erixson), Amovie Mike (alias Jeffery Ares), Itua Samuel Robinson (alias Park Wetty, King Harry ), Iyen Oghodaro Destiny, Adesa Lucky Rute ( alias Peter Anderson, Eric Stern etc), Egbeifo John Endurance and Egbeniyi Oluwafemi ( alias Raymond Morrison, Mavis Mar) at No. 56 Siluko Road , Benin City within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court did conspire with one Dennis Osagie and others now at large to commit felony, obtaining money under false pretence and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 8(a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under section 1(3) of the same Act”. Justice Liman granted the accused persons bail in the sum of N1million each and two sureties in like sum. One of the sureties must be a civil servant and the other must own a landed property within the jurisdiction of court. He ordered that the suspects be remanded in prison custody and adjourned to 4th, 13th and 19th of March respectively. The fraudsters were arrested on January 18, 2013 when men of the Joint Task Force, 4 Brigade, Benin in a surprise raid, stormed their cyber office tucked in an old building located on Siluko Road, Benin City. They were subsequently handed over to the Commission for further investigation and prosecution. At the point of arrest, the fraudsters had in their possession forty five (45) laptops of different make, twenty eight (28) telephone sets, eight ( internet mobile modems and one Nissan car with registration number USL 375 AG. |
The judicial system of Nigeria is just like a woman selling paraga at the bus stop to different agberos/area boys. All you just have to do is pay your little N20 for monkey tail or Jedi Jedi and you are good to go. |
horlatunde: “Our major concern now is to conduct an autopsy but no arrest has been made”, Amarizu hinted.Autopsy on what ? Someone was killed with a machete, they still want to conduct autopsy. I don tire for police matter sef. This police man no know anything. Is he dis daft ? Or is autopsy something they just conduct on anyone ? The cause of death is already known, whats with the autopsy. NPF is a shame jare! Am outta here. |
Afam4eva: What does CPC have that will make them contest with ACN and how arte they bigger than APGA that has two governors and house of assembly members. Does CPC have any governor? You definately know what am trying to say here. CPC has the upper hand than APGA |
I foresee trouble days ahead and it will be as a result of which group takes so so and so slots. Right now it might look so good. But Nigerians are always greedy. One party would want to rule over the other. Take for instance. ACN would claim they are the bigger part of the joined parties with a contending CPC claiming that too. APGA definately is the baby and lowest rank of the group, so they would settle for less. But its a good thing sha they merged. I hope they all agreed and signed a written agreement so tomorrow, ACN faction no go talk say na dem go bring out presidential candidate and CPC would oblige. |
ayoola2002: Sorry ooooo, i can't marry from ur family, so sorry lol. That one na your headache....who wan give u wife marry before. Waka! |

I have experienced such and it has to do with my dad. Its no tales.....My dad passed away 3 months ago before the incident. A friend of his who resides somewhere in ibadan came to visit 3 months after his death to say hi to us and my dad. He said he saw my dad in ibadan 2wks before coming around and that my dad told him he came for a contract and that friend of his should come around to the house to visit him as they have alot to discuss pertaining the contract as he is a welder and might need his services. The guy came around and we told him of the death of my dad, he was surprised and felt we were lying. We showed him his obituary picture and the date he passed on. Guess what happend, the guy fainted and later woke up 15mins after. He couldn't believe that he saw the ghost of my old man. From stories that i've heard about people dying somewhere and then later seen elsewhere is still a mystery as we believed that once dead, thats all. |
This should be on the frontpage of Nairaland. If na wizkid wey wear gele now, u go see am for frontpage with zero comments or view. |
If the western Media wants to know the truth on how the govt of Nigerian is being runned. They should go out to the street and asked the angry, hungry and discomfort Nigerians out there. Then they will know the truth and not the huge painted lies being told by the govt on medias just to make them look like they are doing a good job making Nigeria heaven on earth. Good thing Christina Amanpour did. We need to see more of this. Next is the state of the Nigerian Roads! I hope Jonathan will not raise another committee to look into what Amanpour just said to confirm if she's the person who said it. ![]() |
Na wa o..........so Super Eagles never stop to dey kill people, even after they won a match. No difference between them and the Nigerian Police. ![]() |

Delta state has gone to the dogs........Uduaghan is just a senseless ruler with no plans for the state. His only plan is just to loot the state dry. |
What Investigation are they talking about ? Someone murdered his colleague in cold blood in the presence of everyone, and this useless, clueless PRO said they want to investigate. What are they investigating ? Is it to confirm if truely the bullet that killed the man is plastic or wood, abi, they want to calculate the range of the shot, or is it to determine the extent of damage the shot caused. Nonsense! As if they ever investigate anything. Anyway, its in the blood of NPF to kill and not to protect. |
