PoliticsRe: Henry Okah Found Guilty Of 2010 Independence Day Bomb Attacks by Igwe9(m):
More like "I put it to you kinda judgment" as I can't see were he pleaded guilty as charged, On the other hand, Kabiru Sokoto should be exported to SA to get his own judgment smiley
PoliticsRe: Achebe Was Right Afterall; See Okoraocha's Life In The Teetee by Igwe9(m): 9:29pm On Jan 20, 2013
That has been our major problem here in Nigeria, we celebrate thieves and ritualists as long as they belong to our tribe forgetting that directly or indirectly, we are going to answer for every of our actions and utterances.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan’s Visit To Police College Meaningless — House Committee by Igwe9(m):
This man should go and sit down, all the allocations going to the police, where are they?
He's committee had scheduled to meet next week, was the committee just been inaugurated?
must Mr. President be everywhere and do everything himself, what's the coommittee's job then, they (members) should acknowledge their failure and thank God that they are not appointment political office holders, else they'd be warming up to hit the street in search of another job.
PoliticsRe: Pictures Of Police Residential Quarters by Igwe9(m): 1:44pm On Jan 20, 2013
C'mmon people, why can't the residents unite and put their residence in order, what the buildings lack is sense of responsibility, and to me, as you make your bed, so shall you lay on it.

How in this world can somebody allow his septic wares to deteriorate to the extent that his own life is being placed in danger.

Cleanliness, they say is next to Godliness, hence I'd doubt the proximity of God to that area.
For blame, it should go only to no other than the occupants for not doing anything about it.

PoliticsRe: Cpc-acn Merger: Buhari, Tinubu Agree On Sharing Formula by Igwe9(m): 6:48pm On Jan 18, 2013
Nigeria has grown passed the stage where just only the party affliation dictates who becomes the President, e.g, the 2011 Election.

PoliticsRe: Only Lagos Can Survive Without Oil – Fashola by Igwe9(m): 6:26am On Jan 18, 2013
Paul John: To an extent the governor is right.

But mehn, Lagos's strength economically won't remain the same without oil.
He forgot that directly on indirectly Lagos tax payers wealth are connected to oil.
A successful business tycoon who pays huge tax has most of his customers as civil servants.
Without oil, civil servants are definitely going broke, with the regular tax payer(business guy) having nada to contribute as tax.
Same is for industries, companies... If the larger percentage of their customers have nothing as exchange for manufactured goods due to unpaid wage(from oil) by the top government, companies won't be able to meet up with their monthly dews.

Institutions(polytechnics, universities, colleges of education) that also add up to monthly IGR won't have much to offer when over 50%(assumed) of guidances that pay kids fees are directly or indirectly employed by the FG(Nig highest employer of labor)

Not until this is put into test(Nig without oil), the effects can't be certain.
The only sensible post IMHO.

PoliticsRe: Julius Berger Barricades Causes Traffic Along Abuja Airport Road by Igwe9(m): 8:56pm On Jan 17, 2013
gogodaye: We need to be honest here the road is still under construction! it is a damn construction site. All we've suggested JB have done. We're simply impatient, have little or no regard for the attendant consequences of our actions & inactions whilst on the highways as road users. JB at their sites offer the best safety wise whilst construction is ongoing this notwithstanding the number of crashes on this road is scary. we should simply exude discipline and we'll get home & to our offices early enough.
Hmm, is only those who have tested the shoe know where it pinched the most.

It was terrible and wasn't a well thought-out exercise, in the side of JB.
CultureRe: How Does Mirror Affect Infants by Igwe9(m): 8:14pm On Jan 17, 2013
There's tendency of the baby being possessed by the evil spirit, I know it sounds superstitious but prevention they say is better than cure if you asked me, and all these originated from the villages were the aforementioned is rampant.
WHY MUST EVERY OPINION HAVE TO DO WITH "CAN THEY DO THIS IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY". SO MUCH FOR WELCOMING. WHY AREN'T WE SO UNDERSTANDING.
what is there to understand in that rubbish they are doing on that road al-qaeda , you block the whole over 9km road doing nothing, why not segment the work. in fact, if the road had been well planned out , that intersection at the City Gate shouldn't have existed at first, it would have ran in parallel to each other across the stadium, all the way to the major express road.
It took me hours to get a bus today, I had to board a cab and paid heavily for it despite the availability of fuel. A friend of mine was dropped at Mabuchi instead of Berger junction and he trekked the rest to his office. Such is what dis administration called "good governance"?
why not take Cab to your office? this confirms the allegation that those Buses drop and pick passengers anywhere they like and that is very wrong if you asked me.
