After so many strikes,... how long did the strike last?

Story

It likely price will drop this December. This week price was 17k at Oriendu Isuikwuato, 18k at Nkwoegwu, Umuahia both in Abia State. Though I bought 18k at Isuikwuato. Price may remain the same this week. The way price went up this year, I speculated that by December it will hit close to 25k in local market, but here we are few days to December and price seems to have remained stable for over a month.

Criminals may have wanted to robber her and she held onto something, maybe her bag or phone, so they stabbed her in the hand to rob her.

Why can't we see pictures of victims? Why can't we find, at least, one on social media?

What I have been wondering is; Social media was used to mobilise the ENDSARS protest, why is it that none of the victims are on social media? At least let's hear their stories. The deceased, let us see RIP on their walls.

yes, I know but my problem is that they keep accusing building for being at fault when it's actually how the materials are used. But if they keep insisting that it is substandard building materials, then they should mention the names of the substandard ones

Yes that is why I felt they shouldn't say substandard materials because I believe the materials are standard but they are not used in the appropriate way.

There is cement mix, there is concrete Mix, there is rod size. Use the wrong mix , use the wrong rod and you have a sub-standard (below standard structure). Using bar 16 when structural design says bar 32. etc

Put 21 stories on foundation of 15stories on a soil whose bearing capacity has already being calculated before construction, another sub-standard factor.

I understand all these. Thank you. But why say substandard materials. Wouldn't it be better to say they are not following the standard code?

When they say the cause of building collapse is substandard building materials, what do they mean? Is it that the cement, rod, sand, or stone is substandard? If it is the cement, why not say Dangote cement or BUA is substandard?


And I use to think that high rising buildings are constructed using mostly steels and not concrete pillers. Anyway I am not an engineer, so I don't know much about that.
