And the funny thing here is that Russia is not running out of weapons anytime soon and they don't need contractors like the west to run their defense industry , the only lacking equipment in the Russian military is the drones aspect.
Huh? Russia is indeed running out of weapons. The sanctions have cut them off from some of the crucial elements in their weapon production. Try making/building a precision missile without a processor. That is the reason they are begging to China and Iran for weapons. The amount of misinformation/propaganda on this site is unbelievable.

From her utterances I doubt she is a sharp tool. She takes advantage of her blackness..Some stuff I posted here some years ago

She flies business then enters First Class ,takes a seat. Politely told to take her correct seat She throws a tantrum about her status and color.

She has a non profit. In 2020 her thing provided poll workers. She been accused of using her offices of being where the ballot mules would collect ballots to deposit in drop boxes.Notice I used accused, Noone is investigating that just stands at that .an accusation.

How she got to Yale, I don't know but I will dig around. How come some of these supposed cream of the society behave like toddlers. She is with the Democrats (who know Joe Biden was installed not elected ) who call out election deniers. Yet she never conceded her Georgia loss. She looks likely to declare that this time she must win, else it was stolen.Election denier?

What kinda books do conservative want removed? Note there are books for all ages , Some topics be they real are not fit for even high school.
Conservative do not prevent girls from learning ..Muslims are conservative Maybe you can talk about them not educating their women as seen in their conservative societies
In other words you are hating on christians who of late want to homeschool their children to prevent progressive ideas being drummed into their kids,I'm sure you know how the left is redefining education.

Yale is competitive. Famous or rather prominent people are able to secure admissions to Ivy Leagues from their surnames And social circles.Tell me George Bush is a sharp top of the cream person as in a Yale Havard material and I got a bridge to sell you. John Kerry too , a Yale graduate another dunce scaring us about climate change. Oh there was this sports coach who was able to secure admissions into Ivy League for those with name recognition .The parents made a donation, kids voila !! got admissions plus scholarships. Only reason top grades are required is the sheer number wanting to join Ivy league.Any bright person can join and excel.
I'm sure you haven't heard her speak. She is clearly intelligent. A child would recognize that. So, I'm sure you've heard someone speak about her, based on all you've written so far, probably on one of the racist, right wing rags you read or listen to. I think I'm adroit at recognizing intelligence from bullshit. And she fits the former, you? hmmm.

Do you even live in the US? It seems the bigger problem is that you have internalized/absorbed a lot of the racism/sexism you hear on whatever sites you're on. Such that you( A black Nigerian I assume) have articulated that a black person who got into Yale probably got into it based on affirmative action meaning they aren't as smart as their white counterparts. It also wasn't missed on me that when mentioning someone else who got into an Ivy on affirmative action, you mentioned Obama's wife, another black woman. You should probably reflect on these biases you have.

You forget affirmative action . Anyone can go to an Ivy League and graduate Magna Cum Laude.
For instance Mitchell Obama got into Yale because she is black.
Here is her Master's thesis. Poorly written but she had to pass.
You can go through it , analyse the grammar and the obvious racial theme underlying it.

The rot did not start yesterday, been brewing with leftist takeover of education
Do you know how Abrams got into Yale? You hear a black person got into a Top school and assume that they weren't qualified to? Do you question how other white people got into Yale? Do you think a black person can't be as smart as a white person? Do you think you are inferior to a white person? Do you hate yourself that you are black?

Did you question why Trump, Bush, the Kennedys and all the kids of famous people got into the schools they did? Have you ever heard of legacies?

Let's not get started with the purpose of affirmative action and/or the systematic generational theft of Black wealth in the US (google Tulsa Oklahoma). I feel sad for you. Since anyone can get into Ivy League schools, how many did you go?

Leftist takeover of education? Lol. Education and learning is in fact progressive. That's why conservatives tend to want to prevent people from learning, girls going to school, burning/banning books, trashing "intellectuals" and Top schools etc. etc

Don't know about her Yale education.
Judges this week said they will not be hiring Yale graduates because of their woke culture and attitudes
The left has messed up one prestigious institution .

A dozen senior US judges have promised a hiring boycott of graduates of Yale Law School in response to claims of "cancel culture" at the prestigious institution, accusing it of undermining free speech and intellectual diversity.

As regards abortion There have been double murder convictions of criminals who murdered pregnant women. A life is a life, you want to call it a mass of cells , how pathetic.
Yale is the preeminent legal school. The Federal judges are idiots. This boycott was started by a you guessed it, Trump appointed judge. And all of these judges are Conservatives. Their argument is Yale believes in limiting peoples freedom of speech. They don't believe in that. So they will limit the freedom of their students to gain livelihoods because they don't like the speech at Yale. If that's the kind of arguments they are making you can get a glimpse of their legal arguments. The conservative movement has become so dependent on propaganda they have lost the ability to make non nonsensical arguments. People want Yale students because they are Brilliant. Look that median entrance requirements for Yale, I think it was the 99.9 percentile in both Grades and Law school exam. These judges won't change that.

A "life is a life" is reductive esp. for laws. When does that life begin? And does that even matter? Again, if the greatest freedom we have is that of our bodies, who are you to decide what anyone does with theirs? I think that mentality is chauvinistic. Again, I'm proudly Catholic, but bodily freedom is one thing I can't rationalize away.

You get me wrong kaput. Climate change has always been there over millinea.
What is being pushed today as the cause is my grouse. True we are burning lots of fossil fuels and increasing carbon dioxide. Whoever measured CO2 concentrations 100 years ago should tell us whether he used radio carbon dating or mercury thermometers. There are figures that at one time CO2 concentrations were above 800 ppm ( parts per million) against todays 442 ppm.
The narrative being pushed is that fossil fuels are increasing CO2 and warming the planet.
At the same time we need to green the earth by planting more trees. Trees need CO2 for photosynthesis. More CO2 more trees, more food from farms.
When does that gas become dangerous for the environment because we are told burning fossil fuels increases CO2 and droughts are severe, ocean levels rise, tornados are frequent, heat waves are hotter, forest fires started by arsonists are more severe etc.
In short every little natural occurrence beyond the control of mankind is being touted as more severe because climate change

There were droughts, storms, hurricanes, typhoons, tsunamis etc before oil was discovered.

Any evidence they have increased since Ford started his vehicle assembly lines ie mass production of vehicles? None.

Worst natural disasters would be what I think caused Sahara desert to come into being, long before oil was discovered.

Climate changes naturally. My premise is that the whole charade where nowadays you are not allowed to question it is an ultimate power and wealth grab. Since Al Gore said Manhattan would be underwater by 2015 , we have been reading of alarmism.

Oil companies pretend to play along while they are searching for more oil basins to exploit. They know it's a farce and are happy making more when prices shoot up

So yes Climate has always changed. The cause to me has nothing to do with burning oil as is being urgently adduced by some elites whose carbon footprints exceed that of some towns in Africa.
What's so urgent as to give a cutoff date based on some computer prediction models that have failed to predict. For instance Hurricane Ian landfall was not at the expected point with all the data they had, within the storm they had monitors. Yet they want me to believe that in 2050 those models say temperatures will have risen by 1.5 degrees

They always come up with what's bad for the environment. Remember fridges had to be removed from the market because of CFCs. Some time ago methane was considered an environmental hazard. In Netherlands today leftist govt wants to reduce Nitrogen( 60% of the air) by banning fertilizers in the process reducing farm sizes by upto 30% . Farmers were up in arms. In Sri Lanka the govt was tricked by ESG to ban fertilizers and go organic. We all know the starving population overran the presidential palace and threw him out.
Who is pushing ESG? You maybe guessed it right. Black rock and Vanguard , largest hedge fund managers with a sway over almost every sector. They send warnings to Corporations that they must follow ESG guidelines else they will divest

You are a novice in this area. Alexander Cooper should not be your only source

And what are Carbon credits. Where do I get payment from hectare of trees that I planted ?

Today whenever these activists are grilled by sceptics, their answers are
(a) The science is settled
(b) 99.9% of scientists have confirmed it in peer reviewed articles.

a) Who settled the science.
b) Who funded these peer reviewed studies
I think Economics will dictate all of this and it already has started. The increase in gas prices will surge demand in renewable fuel sources. And insurers pulling out in places like Florida and the cost of these disasters will lead to a more serious debate about Climate change, building codes and sustainable developments. The US should be on the forefront of all of this, just for the economic value alone. We don't want to be Blockbuster in the Blockbuster vs. Netflix debate.

Just FYI. She's democrat, black and you forgot Smart. She went to Yale Law School which is the hardest law school to get into in the US, maybe the WORLD. And honestly, I think her answer was appropriate. What business does anyone have regulating the body of someone else. You can hate abortion all you want, but your wishes, desires and wants ends when it requires you telling someone else what to do with their body. So, I wish people wouldn't get abortions, but that's all I can do about it. I will leave God to make that judgement.

But they just blew a portion of it. Were they able to bomb the whole bridge. Well the last time I checked the bridge is still running and cars have switched to other contingency lanes. The message Russia will use the attack on the bridge to pass to Ukraine will be enough for Ukraine not to try it anymore. Zelensky should continue to allow his western backers to push him to the precipice.
They blew up part of a bridge that was one of the most heavily guarded piece of Russian infrastructure probably around the world. The bridge had 2 lanes (traffic to and from Russia). That effectively shut down one lane(forcing them to use the other for both). They also damaged part of the train tracks that Russia uses to transport all their weapons. Russia has put a weight limit on the bridge allowing a small amount of cars on the bridge at a time, causing more delays which means more delays in transporting weapons that they desperately need. The repairs will probably take weeks if not months at a time where Russia doesn't have the time or resources to repair it fully. The bridge has been compromised and may eventually collapse if Ukraine doesn't finish the job. Lastly, Russia doesn't now how the attack took place. The story is that it was a truck bomb, but giving the damage seems to be from the underside of the bridge, people think it may have been an underwater drone. The fact Russia doesn't know and Ukraine has that capability, I'm sure is scaring a lot of Russian commanders esp. those who are responsible for their Navy. Lastly this isn't the first time Ukraine attempted to blow that bridge and it won't be the last. They understood Russia would lash out, but like all Bullies, you can't back down, you just punch them back and harder.

If Zelensky was smart to see that a war with Russia would be a proxy between Russia and Ukraine western backers the war would not have happened. If Zelensky loves his people he would have met Putin personally to iron things out and soften his rethorics on joining NATO.

Zelensky's 2018 inaugural speech as president was about taking back Crimea, and bringing Ukraine into NATO that was the day I knew he was a fool. I knew he would have problems with Russia. That should not have come out of his mouth in the first place. He is not smart at all. A smart leader in such a situation would know how to balance his country's relations with Russia and the West but this clown of a comedian with no knowledge of intl politics bought the coffin of Ukraine with his words and actions.
What point are you trying to make? That countries don't have the power of self determination? That Ukraine is only a vassal state of Russia and to do anything they need to check with Russia first. What is the difference between that and colonialism. If Ukraine is truly an independent country, they have the right to do as they please. If they want to join NATO, so what. As long as no-one entered or attacked Russia's borders what right do they have to attack anyone else? It's odd that you who live in a once colonized country, without a superior military is talking about might makes right. I'm almost amazed how Nigerians are brainwashed.

And you should do some research as to who Putin is and how he came to power. You somehow want to argue Putin is a rational actor who only wants good. He's a thug who gained power by bombing Russians and using those bombings to stoke a war to make himself look good and rise to power. His stated reasons for invading Ukraine are bunk. He had dreams of a greater more powerful Russia that looked like the old Soviet Union. Ukraine and Sweeden and Finland joining NATO put an end to that.

There is a motto, that goes "Live Free or Die". I've garnered respect for Ukrainian men and even women who stood up against Russia knowing they might die doing it and embodied that motto. And reading these comments, I've lost respect for people like you and some in Nigeria. It's no surprise Nigeria is in the turmoil that it is. It seems a good amount of people think like you, Eager to eek out a wretched life being oppressed by someone else, rather than stand up and fight for a better life for children, family and country.

Ordinary bridge you blow you go dey celebrate dey take selfie up and down they even printed a postage stamp showing the bombed bridge as if it's something significant. You country has been destroyed yet you still no get sense. Well he will still kill dogs and goats in Donetsk and celebrate again.
That "ordinary" bridge they blew is super critical to Russia's ability to supply(feed, fuel and send weapons) to the troops invading Ukraine. The amount of resources(ships, aircraft, subs, and anti-missle batteries) Russia has devoted to protecting it is a testament to that. And you would know better than to call it an "ordinary" bridge if you understood anything about the conflict.

As to Kissinger, our views differ. I believe in sovereign rights. Every country has a right to self determination. If Ukraine wants to join Nato, what is Russia's own? I also don't abide bullies. And don't believe that any country should cede sovereign territory in order to secure peace esp. in 2022. If you do in fact live in Nigeria, the principle of might over right seems very short sighted esp. given our history.

grin Apparently u are sleeping on a bicycle. Ukraine is just a pawn in this war btw the west and Russia. It has its economic facets, where Russia is attempting to destroy the dollar, rubbish the long age tool of western sanctions. Russia is crating an alternative to western systems and fast becoming a rallying point to gulf, Caribbean South America countries and even South Africa is already a member of BRICS. If the dollar is relegated as the reserve currency, America become immediately a third world country with a $500 trillion debt to grapple with
Ok, so what does any of that have to do with you know Russia killing and torturing tens of thousands of people and trying to take by force another country who democratically voted for it's leadership. If Russia doesn't have the economic influence to persuade it's neighbor to side with it and instead has to use it's military force, it's not the power you think it is.
Lastly, you're celebrating a murderer, who's destroying his people and country and wonder why Nigeria is trash. At this point it has less to do with Western influences and more to do with urchins who think like you.

grin Very shallow.
The war in Ukraine is of enormous significance. The fate of the world order is being decided. Nigeria is a European creation and all the troubles in it serve d Anglo-America interest. If Russia pull off all their plan in Ukraine, the west’s fierce hold on Nigeria and indeed Africa will suffer irreparable damage. The other day in Burkina Faso, youths burnt down the embassy of France and started chanting IWE WANT RUSSIA. The west is fighting for their lives.
I hate to insult people. But this is as dumb of a post as they come. Your basic argument is that if a country (Russia) that is trying to impose it's will on a another country(Ukraine) based on it's greater economic and military strength wins and redraws Ukraines country, it will Help Nigeria which was Colonized and had it's borders drawn by Western countries who had greater economic and military strength? Lol.. Please make that make sense.

Further more, if the principle that borders can be redrawn and land taken by force prevails, what stops Russia from just annexing all of Nigeria? Or dividing it with China? If they care little about the lives of Ukrainians who are in some cases are their own relatives, what would they care about the lives of Nigerians?

It absolutely amazes me that with all the ills Nigeria has, your solution is to be closer to a Russia, a regime that kills dissenters and silences voices it disagrees with.

Let's forget about the nuclear threats for now, the westerners can continuing peeing in their pants for now cheesy . But let focus on this sentence i got from the entire news. It says:

____
'Russian officials speak of the possibility of using tactical nuclear weapons after suffering massive setbacks in the eight-month invasion of Ukraine'
______

The funniest sentence i have seen in decades.
Russia just annexed a whole 4 region off ukraine amounting to like 15% of the entire ukraine region. BUT
Guess what? the hypocritical, delusional western medias who are still living in denial or just outrightly off-reality of happening still thinks the ongoing 'special operation' is suffering massive setback. cheesy grin

Oh you western apologists and chearleaders, Let me educate you on the gains of this four regions annexations:

The Donetsk region was Ukraine’s industrial center, accounting for 20% of the country’s industrial production. It is rich in mineral resources, having the fourth-largest coal field in Europe.

The Luhansk region is an important transport hub and is known for its metallurgy, machinery and agricultural industries. It has metallurgical enterprises, chemical and pharmaceutical plants and several coal mines

The Zaporizhzhia region, meanwhile, is the center of energy supply and produces 25% of Ukraine’s electricity. Three powerful energy producers are located in the southeastern region – the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the largest nuclear facility in Europe, the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station and the Botievo wind farm.
It also has a number of large industrial and mechanical engineering facilities.

The Kherson port region specializes in shipbuilding and is known for its resorts and agriculture. Besides, the entire Azov Sea will also become a part of Russia.

So my people, where is the 'massive setback so far' in this? If it is this same type of setback Nigeria is experiencing right now economically, then we wont still be wallowing in a third-world country tag.

Shalom.
People should be cautious of posts like this. Most of this post is inaccurate. Sounds like Russian propaganda. Russia has troll farms that pay people to post things like this to influence foreign opinion. I'm assuming this poster is one of them. Russia does not control these regions "they say they annexed". It's like me saying I've annexed the house you currently own and are living in and it now belongs to me. Here is a bbc article on it https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-63149156 Just the fact that Russia has called up 300,000 troops for a "special Military Operation" that was supposed to last days to weeks would say to a rational person that there have been massive setbacks.

No NATO troop will be deployed in Russia because it'll rapidly lead to an escalation of this conflict. The US is more than happy to have the war confined to Ukraine, they know Russia isn't bluffing about using nuclear weapons if needed. In the end, Ukraine will be the biggest loser and Zellensky the biggest fool for letting his country be used as staging ground for a battle of giants
I agree about confining it to Ukraine. In fact, the US's position has largely increased by what's happening in Ukraine. They did spend money, but as gotten huge returns in an economically and militarily weakened Russia. Had been the best Ad for joining NATO (Sweden and Finland). Has been able to test and demonstrate US weapons. A Ukraine that in the future will need to show it's gratitude. And finally a Russia that has increasing domestic problems. And 0 lost American troops. Why would they want more.

But Russia may use a Nuclear weapon. But I think at that point the US and NATO would get involved. That would no be no longer just about Russia, but about putting a marker down for other countries like China, N. Korea etc. as to what to expect if they decide to try the same thing.

People are making it seem like this war is between Ukraine and Russia but the truth is that it's Russia against Ukraine + all NATO countries
I'm in the US, outside of a handful of volunteers, no US troops have been deployed to Ukraine. I think it's the same for ALL NATO countries. And there is a very specific reason for that. If a NATO country is attacked, there is a MUTUAL DEFENSE AGREEMENT.
Meaning all NATO countries would have to fight back. The US doesn't want a wider war so has stayed out so not to trigger mutual defense agreement. And that is why even Russia has been very careful not to even accidently strike inside a NATO country.

Western culture is one of the numerous issues some countires including Russia has with the WEST.

But that in no way is cause of this war.

This war / fight started because the WEST (controlled by USA) went against an agreement, and choose to try siting their outPost near Russian border
What outpost? I think Putin felt that the USSR breakup was a mistake and his goal was to build it back. Ukraine gained independence in 1991 and since then has been gravitating toward the West. He wanted to shut down that Western influence and try to build back a larger/more powerful/important Russia. He overestimated.

If anyone wants to garner a better understanding of why Putin hates Zelensky and Ukriane, watch Zelensky's sitcom, "Servant of the People". I watched it at the beginning of the war to get a feel of Ukrainian culture. I was amazed at how Western looking the show was. Some of the jokes were western inspired. There was US history and a lot of digs at Russia. Putin had to be upset Ukraine was gravitating to the West.

Lost respect from dumb people anyway. Billions of dollars weapons pouring into Ukraine every week and you still don't understand that USA and NATO are already fighting Russia through Ukraine
You are right. It is a pseudo war. The US is more than happy to fund (there are no NATO or US troops on the ground) Ukraine in pushing back on Russia's aggression. But, it is RUSSIA's aggression. They decided to attack a country, kill, torture, rape it's people and plunder it's resources, because they thought they could. At any moment Russia can STOP and go home. On the other hand if Ukraine stops or stops getting help, Ukraine seeks to exist.
