Beaf: alh boko haram the wicked thing!Lie lie Beaf, you are such a ...! When will you desist from posting fake PISHOS? Perhaps you can tell the world when Ilaje people started selling "ewa agohin". Pathetic Individual. You better summon your energy to help your wretched USOKO people. Oops, I bet that will be too much to ask of you, I forgot you dont even know the road to your village. |
PhysicsQED: Iguana reverence was not unusual in certain parts of Nigeria in the past. Other groups held the ram in high esteem, vultures, snakes, etc and all over the world certain cultures held certain animals in high esteem. I can understand why Ilaje44 would be mad or annoyed with Beaf for the insulting pictures he's posting about his people, but people should desist from denigrating traditional Isoko religious beliefs just because of their beef with one poster especially considering that their own people may have had beliefs that look strange or unusual in modern times.Well, he has been denigrating Ilaje since a long time. The reason I came on yesterday was to ask him to desist from doing that. He was the one who turned it into an offence. He should know that I know his culture better than he does. He can post as many "pisho" as he likes, I am unperturbed, since I know how bad it is in his village. Nevertheless, I thank you for the word of insight. With that, I say good night. |
Desola: crossing the river from where? Na wa o, lizards of all things. Big ewww... I am afraid you have to direct your question to a "bonafide" USOKO/USOBO Person. Beaf o mo ile. I even suspect if he is a true born USOKO gan paapaa. Omo ale, omo abiito lo le maa fi owo osi juwe ile won. |
Desola: \Ofcourse they do. That thing the Yoruba call "Aworinwon" or "alegba" is HOLY in their land. If you kill it, me lady, that one na big yawa o. Acording to their tale, it is their forbear that turned into that animal, which helped their ancestors to cross the river. I bet beaf does not even know his history. And he won to dey tell an Ilaje man who him be. Alepa abi Ahehere awa Ilaje mi pe eran naa rin. |
tpia@:Otito wo fo rin yein! |
Desola: "keeti" = ki lo ti ri - in full.Omade yi, o de da re n'oju pe oma Isale Eko wo gha rin bayi? |
tpia@:It means "bawo ni?" for instance in Ondo. That is also true of Ile-Oluji, Odigbo etc. Ilaje say: Ku wo fo? in the case of "ki lo so?". "Ku wo mi fo?" = "Ki lo nso?". Keeti in Ilaje would be: "Kon ti gha?" or "ko ti gha?" |
jason123: Do Isoko people also live there?? This is new! They do! Makoko is a microcosm of Nigeria. |
ekt_bear: lmao, picture spam time.I bet it is! Aburo mi razist ko ni arguement. I know him very well. If he had logical arguement, I know that the boy can be brilliant atimes. He sucks when he has no point. He then result to photospammisis . |
alj harem: Was about to say the same. Those pictures are of Makoko and Ajegunle which is also due to people that him that migrate to yorubaland daily. No no no. Ajegunle is not like that. The only place like that is Makoko. Ilaje people live there. So do Usoko, Egun, Cameroonian etc. He is just fooling himself. He should bring a photo with gps information in it to proof the Eldorado that Delta is. I know he always bring photos of places in Japan to represent Delta. He is an Usoko wayo man. It is a genetic trait! |
alj harem: https://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ls1l43cgi71qbmucp.gifFine girl! Dont cry jare. Beaf can be terrifying, but he is a gentle soul in wolf's fur. He has been tamed. |
Beaf: So it turns out that aside from being a counterfeit, Ilaje44 is also irresponsible (he claims to "yansh" girls), a bigot (describing Isoko's and Urhobo's with derogatoruy names) as well as a fool.Indeed Beaf, I y*** some omoge through Nairalist. There is no denying it. I see how excited you have suddenly become. But you know what? It is not like they were 12-16 years old girls as widespreadly practiced in your land. The girls I am talking about were between the age of 33 and 41. Ogbeni Moral Apostle, so igba e. |
draj93: I luv dis thread, i'm always happy to be with my people (ilajes) but d painful part of it is dat i can't speak d language. I'm 4rm idi-ogba precisely.E lee o oma yemi! Bi wo ba fe ko ede re, wo le ko. Emi naa tan ni Idi-Ogba, Erona, Odun-un Yaye, Odun-un Odogun etc. Oma Abaala emi gha rin sha. E jina le Upare. |
I am proud of you all. Keep repping what you are. In a sane Nigeria, we should be able to represent what we are without maligning others, and without the fear of other people calling us ethnic jingoists. |
afam4eva: 9ice is from Oyo town. That is not true. 9ice is from OGBOMOSHO. Look up his interview with Funmi Iyanda on Youtube. Iyanda herself is also an omo Soun. |
I am trying to embed the video here, but it is not showing like Desola's. Seyi was just too hilarious here. He is repping Ilaje really well in that video. http://youtu.be/azRhde_Tljk |
SEYI LAW: There is some sample of Ilaje here. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/azRhde_Tljk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
How can I embed a Youtube video? |
MR A.D OLUDEHINWA:Ilaje Aiyemafuge Oma Ilaje: Awa yee o! Bere rin, a ye ogun ati ote Ujon. |
I must confess that I am enjoying this debate, wether it is about Ilaje or Ikwerre. It has majorly been very "civil". |
ekt_bear: Why would you even put Itsekiri and Ilaje in the same sentence. The former is a group of people of mixed ancestry/origins, despite speaking a language quite similar to Yoruba (though technically classified as a different language.)Have you read written Ishekiri? You should do! As a Yoruba, it is even more intelligible to you than the spoken language. It is like German and Dutch!!! You would be amazed. |
Paul John: I'm realy interested in this post, but @ilaje 44 I get confused with some of the words u've written in yoruba. I'm from osun state. I believe I should be able to understand everything since all yorubas originated from Ile-Ife(osun). Just confused. Can you please explain, the relationship of the Ilaje's, edo people and urobo to the yorubas. That is very normal. Yoruba is not the only language where the speakers of each dialect mutually understand themselves. The linguists have classified Yoruba into 3 groups: 1. Northwest 2. Central 3. Southeastern I believe. I may err, but I do believe those are the classifications. These are done on the degree of their mutual intelligibility and grammatical construction. Ufe or Ife are classified within the central Yoruba along Ujesha and co. So, Ufe language is a compromise or what the Germans would call "Bindeglied" between the Oyo and the Ondo (cluster) Yorubas. You said you dont understand Ekiti? Wait until you hear AKOKO, fear go catch you. |
