ijaw1stson: Wish the ass of a hole could be fed to crocodiles alive. He destroyed the Nigeria I loved. IBB, akutuku e lona orun. Eleribu something |
piagetskinner:You people should give the guy a break if you don't have biometric evidence to disprove his claim that he was born in 1961. |
Ponponkon:Do you guys have to write this whole incoherent essay just to say that the man in the picture looks older than his age? Is that really necessarry? And by the way, what factual evidence do you have to support your claim that the guy is not actually the age he says he is? Did you conduct a scientically verifiable test to determine his age? Suffering does make people appear older than they really are, and a substantial amount of the population are REALLY suffering in Nigeria, and it did not start now. Even in the time of plenty when the idiot of a president was busy sharing the money that should have been used to uplift a lot more people to just some few goats in his barn yard, and some few other vocal goats outside, poverty was well pronounced. Hence, I would advice this propaganda writer to give the man a break if you don't have concrete evidence that he's lying about his age. |
HammerTheirPapa: Imo lile yatosi lati fi ipa mu enia mo 'le. Imo lile = imale. |
bonechamberlain: This is not a matter of opinion. The court did not base it rulings on opinion, but on evidence tendered before it. The nonsense you and your likes continue to spread about Obasanjo selling Bakassi is just what it is, absolute nonsense. |

Please don't be silly now, will you! Though it could be difficult for you to decipher, but I can assure you by my life, that I do indeed know a lot more than you. And if the society were not that rotten, no one will advice first bank before they change their yeye thief thief policies. They would just repent unconditionally after being severely punished for the daylight robbery they are perpetrating. And lastly, if you run a business, I hope you don't emulate FBN. One day, you may steal from someone who is crazier than you, and he will certainly make sure that you pay for all your iniquities. There's nothing bad in being honest. |
bonechamberlain: The silliness of a lot of Nigerians especially the young supposedly educated adult is alarmingly baffling. You said he shouldn't have gone to ICJ, who told you that stinking lie that it was Obasanjo who went to court? You know what, when you happen to be sued to court as a powerless individual (just here in Nigeria), I would advice you to stay away from the court, and see what will happen to you. Nonsense and ingredient! And for your information, Bakassi rightfully belongs to Cameroon even though Nigeria has taken it by force all these years prior to the court ruling and the handover. If you do not want to be bound by the decision of the ICJ, you should never have been a signatory to the treaty setting up that court. You can definitely not eat your cake, and still hope it remains. Obasanjo did not sell Bakassi as continually being alleged by numbskull know it all professors of international law, but masters of nothingness. Bakassi was Cameroonian land as agreed in the 1884 partition of Africa and all subsequent treaties thereafter between the Kingdom of Great Britain and the German Empire. |
toocoded:I thought you were going to offer a logical advice after doing your analysis, but I'm not surprised that you asked people to keep their money under their pillows if they do not agree with the bank robbing them in the brightest of day. If you had done a diligent analysis, and carefully read what people are talking about, you would not have come up with that line of thought. There's nothing wrong paying bank fees if you know the reason you're being charged. And if you were opportuned to have banked with a real bank and not these Nigerian kalokalo organisations, you'd understand that the agitations against the daylight robbery is very much needed. When you opened an account, you signed a contract with the respective banks at the prevailing terms. Now, since almost every thing in life is dynamic, there's bound to be changes along the line. As a contract partner, if there are changes to the terms of agreement, these should normally be communicated in order to allow the other party to decide if they want to continue on the basis of the new conditions. However in Nigeria, what you see is that anyone can just wake up and implement a new policy without any prior notifications which is not how things should be done. For me, the best way to tackle this menace is to go for a kind of class action and make one of these kalokalo houses a scapegoat. But then, the average Nigerian is an impatient being. He is busy looking for instant miracle instead of walking the real walk however difficult and agonizing it is. |
Daninya11:I also have had an appendix operation, and I cannot confirm any of these symptoms you mentioned. Perhaps you should consult your doctor for advice. If there's a possibility to do a CT scan of your lower abdomen, please do. You can also go for Colonoscopy, but its not a comfortable undertaking. |
familyrocks:There's no facility for tourism. The lackadaisical government approach to development and the unruly behaviour of an average Nigerian are also very big deterrents to the development of tourism in Nigeria. Imagine being surrounded by beggars everywhere on a purported touristic complex. Dirt and defecation is all around the corner. Despite all the negative experience, the Olumo rock complex is definitely worth a visit. I'd recommend a guided tour. |
Esseite:You should pity Nigeria more, because as a matter of fact, Kenya is in many aspects ahead of Nigeria. Nigeria is more the powerless giant that has been incapacitated by many years of bigotry, corruption, break down of law and order, and nepotism among others. Almost everything handled by the Nigerian government seems not to work. The Nigerian government is more or less an haphazard institution without any idea how a modern nation is run. |

Hello Obinna222, thanks very much for your reply. I think I am too old now to autodidactically start to dabble into auto repair. If I have to start now, learning by seeing/doing would be the more appropriate. I suppose I have to go for petrol engine then. Thanks once again. |
obinna222:Hello Obinna222, can I ask you a question or two? Are you in Lagos? If yes, where do you service your diesel car if you're still using one or where did you use to service the car in case you longer drive diesel powered car? I am thinking of bringing in a European modell Peugeot 407 Esplanade to Naija for personal use while I am on a visit later this year. For my short stay, I'd probably wont need to care about servicing, but the car will be put to use by family members thereafter I suppose, so it would be good to know where to bring in the car for maintenance. I'd appreciate your reply or that of any other person, especially the guy that says he does the repairs by himself. The one that argued with his uncles regarding diesel vs. petrol cars. Thanks |

EgunMogaji:Why did you stop using rebtel? I compared the tariffs, Rebtel is a tick cheaper than Boss Revolution in my case. I pay 3 cent per minute, actually 2.5 which however is due to the fact that I am an old customer. |
BrabusNG:@Mayor78 Data is not all that reliable, and most importantly cheap in Nigeria. Else, Skype, WhatsApp, and Viber would be great choices. I don't know where you live, but I have been using www.rebtel.com for a number of years now. They are not the cheapest, but cheaper than Skype (the paid service) to Nigeria at least, and call quality is better than most other VOIP services. Give it a try. |

I hope you did not let them take any personal belongings with them as done internationally. Anyway, a lot of things are begging for reform in this god forsaken country. |
onoja12:Theoretically, the Devaluation of a country's currency should trigger Export, because your Exports will become cheaper for foreigners. Nigeria being an agrarian country won't be able to fully enjoy the benefits of devaluation. We tried that out already during IBB time with the IMF imposed SAP. It totally killed off our burgeoning home made manufacturing, because raw materials and Machinery/spare parts became prohibitively expensive. Anyway, Buhari need not say he won't devalue the Naira, because that is very far from reality. What he won't do, the market has already taken care of it. |
