PoliticsRe: Dora Akunyili And Her "sudden" Revelation On Nigeria Problems! by ilaugh1: 8:26pm On Feb 08, 2009
the same responses from the same blockheads - stayin far away and making the loudest noises imaginable, the poster sums up his view of Nigeria, and packed all in his signature - he said - "Nigeria - the aberration called a nation"? What does this mean? what good can this person see or write about Nigeria, even if something good is being done? Poster - apart from seing Nigeria as an aberration, having an assumption that you know the meaning of the word aberration - what do you think is the problem with Nigeria and how to solve them, apart from all these talk about the problem, what do you think are solutions to the problems of Nigeria, an aberrated nation.

You have revisited what slave trade did to our fore fathers - selling their birth right because of food, common, can you do this to your black brother? You lied to him just because you want to marry him, you sold your conscience in place of a white di ck, who told you your family will forever be dependent on him? you need deliverance and forgiveness from your entire family, i weep for you and your likes.

bawomolo:
i believe he was talking about the gross economic inequality in Nigeria.  There is hardly any middle-class.

Why would anyone compare yar'adua to George Bush.  should we also compare our schools to the ones in Afghanistan?
Economic in equlaity exists every where in the world, my man, how come we are made to believe this is only a Nigerian thing?
PoliticsRe: Running Nigeria On Generators by ilaugh1: 6:39pm On Feb 02, 2009
Noone in his or her right mind, honestly speaking, someone who wakes up and thinks and not someone who wakes up and doesnt even know how to use his or her brain, noone like that will call Nigeria a failed state - people who are so ignorant, people who are blinded to opportunities, people who have been deceived by the little comfort that the life abroad offers, these are the people who - for the reason of not being able to fit back into the system, calls Nigeria a failed state, a doomed for entity, and a country where nothing works - these are the people who needs help.

Thousands of Chinese, South Africans, Americans, British, Indians are rushing to Nigeria as a land of opportunity and loads of them are making it in a big way in the same country that Nigerians have written off as a place where nothing works - please how do you explain that to me? You sit down abroad, and thinks up issues in your own mind and calls it reality? how can you call it reality when all you experience about the country is what has been conjured up in your mind by foreign journalists and so called diasporic jouranlists who sit behind cyber space to write about what they know nothing about? How foolish and myopic that can be? Thousands make millions on a daily basis in Nigeria, and yet - someone sits behind a 17inch computer to tell me that Nigeria is a failed state - honestly, I pity such kind of a people, they need help and they need it fast.
PoliticsRe: Running Nigeria On Generators by ilaugh1: 3:43pm On Feb 02, 2009
the same way you dont think everyone should start washing cars to survive is the same way that not everyone thinks Nigeria is a failed state, doomed and sick like you always want us to beleive.
PoliticsRe: Running Nigeria On Generators by ilaugh1: 9:48am On Feb 02, 2009
the country is not working- the country is not working - stay there and moan, while others make money and are happy in the same country, even common artisans make so much money in the same country you think has no hope - on saturday, I took my car for a wash in a roadside car was in abuja, and four young boys, with water from the road side tap, ekes out their living washing cars, i bet you will say it is a demeaning job - I purposely stayed with these guys for 5 hours, and these guys earns 500 naira washing one car - in five hours I was there, they washed over 15 cars - multiply that by 500 naira and assume they wash double or tripple that in a day, which i am sure they will wash more, and you can assume how much money they make on a daily basis. yet, everyone is suffering in your own yeye eye -

Same thin in London, a lot of folks eke out their living washing cars and making money, so, before you tell me that car washing is a bad thing to do, i can refer you to London and show you how many of our Nigerian graduates do the same thing in Londodn, washing cars - and you will just wise up.

the only way to make critics like B. O. S. S. and KOBOJUNKIE keep quiet is for Fashola to press on with projects like this and make sure he doesnt listen to any of such meaningless avocados - i thought this was going to raise so much meaningless discourse like the CCTV thing did! Look at them even saying kudos to Fashola, the same man they had hitherto called names for daring to initiate the CCTV project. hmmm - we now know Fashola knows better than these egg heads - te hehe -tetetetet,

I am so happy for you that you saw the news on Punch Newspaper as well - wow - you must be very clever o - who asked you where you saw the news, or what has this buffonery answer got to do with my comments?
PoliticsRe: Running Nigeria On Generators by ilaugh1: 6:41pm On Jan 31, 2009
Another case of unfounded speculations and a case of a loud mouthed journalist who writes without putting foward any meaningful solution to the problem, writer - what solution do you think will work, this is what we are interested in, not in writting thesis about the problems - we all know the problem exists - what solution will you profer- if you have nothing to proffer, then go sleep.
