Botfuss: I really want to blame bissaka so badly but, we’ve conceded with that defensive organization so many times I’ve lost count . What exactly do these coaches watch in training? No hope for final. Emery is licking his lips, targeting that zone Bissaka is supposed to be covering. United conceded a goal to Sevilla last season because of this blind spot. Against Brighton earlier in the season, that area was targeted like 10 times but Brighton were too useless to have scored at least 5 goals from their chances. |

If not for his injury, Martial would've made the cut... Varane and Kipembe are ahead of Laporte. He had to run to Spain because he has a better chance starting for the La Roja. |

£150m spent on the same defence.

airmark: I hope you know Cavani's age now and you may substract Kane's. Cavani isn’t Kane otherwise Michael Owen is Giggs. raumdeuter: 2yrs ago, I will say Haaland was not ready for a team like Man utd, Dortmund was his level where he can play consistently and develop, You guys have not been in a position to gamble on anything cos you need to win immediately. Haaland can’t be a gamble, he’s already established. It wasn’t 2 years ago that United wanted him desperately, it was just January last year. raumdeuter: His injury proneness does not stop him from hitting 20goals a season even at Spurs where he is now playing assister and scorer. About half of those 20 goals are from penalties. Bruno is already at Man Utd and he’s more prolific at burying penalties than Kane. raumdeuter: Madrid and Barcelona wont be in debt forever, In 3-4yrs time a player like Haaland would be bored and be looking for opportunities The only reason Pogba is still with you is because his playing level dropped in the past 3yrs Good point about Madrid/Barca not staying in debt forever but the fact still remains if I were to choose between Haaland or Kane at £150m, Kane is a smarter choice. If Haaland isn’t available at any amount then Kane can be a smart option. Haaland is probably the best young player in the world. It would be shocking if United miss another opportunity to sign Haaland. raumdeuter: Dem broke dem broke Madrid was still dropping 160M for Hazard, Still planning to scoop Mbappe, Barcelona was still sending over 100m on players like Dest Trincao and 30yr old Pjanic. Season before they signed Griezmann Dejong etc How will they now struggle to sign Haaland Perhaps those signings made them broke. raumdeuter: The only reason Haaland wont make trouble about leaving is if his level drops
Haaland has a smart father plus Raiola, A boy who knew at age 20 to only go to a club that will give him a release clause and turned down other bigger clubs. That type of boy is not staying at any club long term unless he stops performing at the top level Haaland’s level will drop at United. I don’t think there’s enough support system to feed Haaland unless another manager comes to build a team around him. United are short of technical players to fully maximize Haaland’s potentials. United need a an elite CB, an elite CDM, an elite RW. |

DNA plus Insha Allah tactics won’t always work for ole gollum.. Let's hope he doesn't bottle it against Mr good ebening, the UEL specialist.. If you make your choice Haaland or Nothing don't be surprised if you end with Nothing If you offer Dortmund £150m, they would bring him to Manchester themselves with 6 baby elephants as a bonus. £150m post-pandemic? Watzke would put his wife as a bonus on the deal. |

Expert17: Selling Lukaku was a big mistake.
OLE fvcked up. Selling Lukaku wasn’t necessarily a mistake if Ole had replaced him with Haaland. Haaland was Ole’s former player. Any other manager with common sense would have convinced him to come before his stock skyrocketed. I’d have offered him the best pröstitutes Manchester has to offer plus a helipad to bring him over. Everyone knew where that kid was headed but Ole bungled it, citing they didn’t want to deal with Raiola. Yet, they want to extend Pogba’s contract. Is Pogba not Raiola’s client? raumdeuter: Lewandowski Suarez Benzema are still firing at 33, why can't Kane do same for another 5yrs.
Which 20yr old will give you 10yrs? Are you talking about Haaland a Raiola client? In 3yrs Raiola will already be shopping him to Barcelona. Haaland has no ties to England or Man Utd. He seems to be the type that will tour different leagues to play for different teams Kane is injury prone. He might retire before 30. Don’t compare him to any of those strikers you mentioned. Anything below £70m is a good deal, not a penny more. Haaland easily has 10 years or more in him. In 3 years, no other club in Europe would be able to pry him off United. Barca and Madrid are in debt, this is why they want to die on the Super League hill. UEFA threatened them with 2 year ban and they haven’t even flinched. Where will they get the money from? Bank of Spain have told Madrid the days of loan facility are over. |

raumdeuter: Players like Kane don't come into the market often and its better to spend big on a sure thing than to be doing 50m 60m trial and error. He has added more to his game this year. If defenders like Maguire are going for 80m then what of a proven league scorer
Ferguson signed RvP at 29yrs with worse injury record and he delivered a league title RVP’s transfer fee was £24m, 3 years after Ronaldo’s fee was £80m. Everyone knows Kane’s quality, it shouldn’t be flogged to death. The fee is the turn off. I’d rather a 20 year old machine that would give me 10 years than Kane that has about 2 years left in his career. |

raumdeuter: I am not a Man Utd fan but If I am I would seriously advocate for Kane There are not many 9s left in world football, Actually how many 9s in the world are world class or close and below 30. Kane Lukaku Haaland are the few that comes to mind The scarcity of 9s is why top clubs are still clinging to Lewy, Benzema Suarez Cavani people wey suppose don dey retire, Barcelona sef dey reason Aguero at 33
If you get a Kane that is genuinely class and at 27yrs, That should be a no brainer
Kane despite his injuries, guarantees 20-25 league goals almost every season and possibly 40 goals in all competitions. That is the type of striker that can win you championships. He is English, No acclimatization issues and is hungry to win. Tinkering with Martial and Cavani upfront will not win you big titles. Abi the Martial Cavani matter never tire una ni Haaland is the smart choice for £150m. |

Oasis007: ,Manchester United have known for a long time that Harry Kane wanted to leave Tottenham and have had him at the top of their wish list. Kane is still on the list despite Edinson Cavani's renewal, but it is not as urgent. Kane wants to leave when he realized the only manager that could have won him a trophy got sacked few days before a cup final. In any other organization, Levy would have been sacked for heading a football club that has won nothing in the past 14 years. If he loses Kane, they will not be winning any trophy for another 60 years. |

All from set pieces...
But Ole blinds thinks Ole Gollum is the best thing to happen to Utd since SAF, he has rebuilt the culture, the DNA and everyone from the tea ladies, to the players are smiling again. He has beaten Mou and Pep and also taken us to 2nd and a major European final. He has fixed the defence and there is progress.. Smh The whole cultural reboot is nonsense. It’s an excuse to explain away his poor performance. How can any manager with a coaching badge bring on a defensive midfielder while searching for a goal in the dying minutes of an important game. If SAF had his idiotic mindset, Ole wouldn’t have been subbed on in the 99 final against Bayern that made Ole a legend. Imagine SAF bringing on Phil Neville in 99 final as his last sub while searching for an equalizer. |

Joezinho: I always say, Fred is VERY hardworking. Yes he have some flaws sometimes... But he overshadows all of them by his working so tirelessly and consistently running. It’s Ole’s fault. He’s so clueless. Put the same Fred in Man City and Pep would have figured out how to use Fred by now. In 17/18 - the last time we finished 2nd, Mourinho conceded only 9 league goals at Old Trafford in 19 home games. Ole has spent around £150m on that defence and he has conceded 27 league goals at Old Trafford. Only Ole spends money on a defence unit and have them playing worse than he met them. United are the worst team in the league in percentage of goals conceded via set pieces. Why should anyone trust this fraud to take United to the glory days?

He’s the most hardworking Brazilian in the PL. It’s just that his distribution is useless and that’s on Ole.
Fred shouldn’t be making more than 2-5 yard passes when he wins the ball. Ole should be using him like Mourinho used Makelele.
The task is simple: win the ball and give it to the next available player within a 5 yard radius. No Hollywood passes. |
