They put up one of the most embarrassing performance ever seen, Chelsea won the game and won the title. Sir Alex Ferguson noted it and was dissapointed, but Liverpool and there fans were very happy that Man United could not knock them off their perch that year. KARMA.

They still fielded a strong team in that game and it could be argued Chelsea just happened to overpower them.

United bought Daniel James and paid a loan fee for Ighalo(in January), they could have lumped all those money together to get an elite centre half(Koulibaly).

Now we have an £80m inferior defender that needs another £60m partner to function. It’s the definition of penny wise, pound foolish.

Ask yourself why United got Bruno without any competition.

Most of the other clubs considered him too high risk.

As for Koulibaly, his price was what drove many clubs away. Napoli wanted £90m or so. Guardiola wanted to sign him but the price was just too much for him.

United actually had the money but went for the inferior version of him. It wasn’t as if Koulibaly was affordable and no one wanted him. Plenty of clubs wanted him but weren’t able to sign him because of the high fee.

Maguire has played 3,048 minutes in the PL. Lindelof has played 2,475 mins. With Maguire having played around 600 PL minutes more than the next centre-half, how won’t he have the most clearances, interceptions, etc than anyone else in the team?

Why didn’t they compare Maguire’s defensive stats to other players in the league instead of his team mates? Because they know if they did that, he would be quickly exposed as the fraud that he is. The English propaganda in overhyping their mediocre players is one of the reasons they fail in international tournaments.

Ndidi alone should be able to do the job against the mid-table teams and bottom teams. United can get an elite defender to back it up for maximum security though.

Until we buy elite centre-halves, McFred is our best option in shielding those two oafs in our central defence.

Pogba won’t track back, Bruno cannot and Matic is also too slow to do the job. I don’t like McFred because they are substandard to what other teams in the top 6 have but it’s the best we have currently in the squad.

Hopefully, Ole loans some sense and get Ndidi in the summer.
