Bruno has already applied his technique. What happens after that is not Bruno’s fault as long as the ball went in the direction he intended before being jammed up by the defender.

There are enough points to debase their legendary status.

I didn’t say I rated them the best.

I said it has been rated the best. Of course I would put United 98/99 and Chelsea 04/05 above the Centurions.

A lot of pundits cited the points hauled by the Centurions as the reason why they are the best but winning a treble is more difficult than focusing on one competition and amassing points against relegation fodders.

Will sure bring some excitement to the Serie A next season. I still think Inter has a good chance of winning it again. They’ll probably perform woefully in the UCL but they have the best chance of winning the serie A next season.

It would’ve been sweet if the team above Mou during that season hadn’t won like 30 games or so.

I don’t think a team who finished like 19 points behind the league winners deserve any accolade over those who finished 10 points behind them.

It would also have been better had Mou finished with a similar points tally the next season.

If you aggregate the league positions of all managers post Fergie- Ole’s record stands out. This doesn’t mean Ole is the best of the lot, or that he shouldn’t be sacked if he’s found wanting, it only means that his league record is the best post SAF so far. Full stop.

That team has been rated the best team ever in the PL. They finished with 100 points.

That Ole is only 10 points behind them this season has nothing to do with Ole but City dropping their high standards. City can only win 28 PL games this season. They won 32 PL games in 17/18.

That’s the difference.

Think Mou will win the serie A next season? The league suits his style and with a few additions he can compete with Conte and Juve. Forget about AC Milan (Chic2pimp, football didn’t come home, what happened? )

Everything depends on the new owners spending money. If Mourinho can use his clout to sign some good players, he should win Serie A within the next two seasons.

I agree the league suits his style. Less media scrutiny. He can get on with his work without the media distraction.

In terms of trophies, nope, not really. We’ve been close but we have only been in one final. Losing 5 semi finals is not progress to be Frank. But in terms of the league, the progress is there to see.

I mean, when last have we been this consistent in the league? When last have our fans dreamt of winning the league? When last have fans been angry we “lost” the league this close to the end of the campaign? If you aggregate Ole’s league position and compare it with the other managers you’ll see that he edges them.

What remains to be seen is if we can build on this progress and win a major trophy- and if Ole can be the one to do that.

Mourinho won 25 PL games in 17/18.

Ole has won 20. If he wins all the remaining games yet to be played, he will win 23 PL games in total.

Is this supposed to be funny?

I saw it on Twitter this morning.

It was so funny. They had to take a dig at Bruno and his penalty shouts.

Most times, the folks that defend Mou here do it in his defense when Ole supporters attempt to turn truth on its head.

If you did, you'd see a lot us here criticized Mou with even more vigour, we wanted him sacked in hope that his replacement does better which has so far proven not to be the case. I'd be plain hypocrisy for some of to keep shut after 3 years of Ole's reign...
