RomanceRe: Why Do Some Guys Kiss And Tell by illusion2: 7:27pm On Jan 27, 2010
Another reason ,women should learn to zip up !  tongue

As my peeps would say - O NI SE RU E MO !  grin grin grin grin

But seriously, few guys (i.e MEN),brag about sleeping with women, what happens like I have found out is that you(guy or babe) tell one VERY CLOSE FRIEND, & swear them to secrecy. They in turn tell JUST ONE VERY,VERY CLOSE FRIEND of theirs & swear them to secrecy. . . .and so it goes !

So you believe ," I only told my really tight friend & s/he promised on thier mother's grave not to tell" . . . but there you go ! I doubt people deliberately kiss & tell (except teenagers of course, where canning may be equivalent to a conquest cheesy ) .
EducationRe: 87 Students Bag First Class In UNILAG by illusion2: 7:21pm On Jan 27, 2010
All those saying 'the number of 1st class grad is on the high side' are suffering from the typical naija malaise, which presupposes that  genuine academic success is rare.

How many 1st class grads do the US universities produce every year ?? Even practising musicians and sports men graduate with 1st class from Top universities in the US.

1:1 should be based on merit, work hard and you'll get it. . . its actually more about HARD WORK & less of intelligence ,as you'll notice most 1st class grads aren't exactly the 'sharpest' peeps in their classes (in terms of creativity, innovation etc)

The prob with schools like OAU is that you have frustrated, unexposed  lecturers who have become demi-gods in their courses and are  out to transfer the frustration to students, how else can you explain a sitution where a lecturer announces in his very first class that 'NO ONE CAN GET AN 'A' IN MY COURSE??'  shocked shocked

Benitez link to Juventus denied
Rafael Benitez's agent insists the Liverpool boss is staying at Anfield, despite speculation linking him with a move to Serie A side Juventus.

Current manager Ciro Ferrara is under pressure because of Juve's poor form.

However, Benitez's agent Manuel Garcia Quilon said: "I have had no contact with Juventus or with any other Italian club regarding an interest on Rafa."

Benitez signed a new deal in March 2009 that could keep him at the Merseyside club until 2014.

His agent added: "There have been rumours linking Rafa to Juve, just as there have been reports linking Guus Hiddink to Juve.

"They are all media speculation and there is no truth in it. Rafa has a four-year contract with Liverpool.

"He feels he has the strength to continue with the team and he is fully focused on guiding Liverpool up the standings."

Liverpool and Juventus were knocked out of the Champions League before the winter break and lie sixth in their respective leagues.

Benitez's side are 13 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester United, while last weekend's 2-1 defeat by Roma was Juve's fifth loss in six Serie A games and left them 16 points adrift of leaders Inter Milan.

Russia coach Hiddink was linked to Juve, who have been hit by injuries this season, before the loss to Roma and it led to Ferrara hitting out at the reports.

Meanwhile, Benitez, 49, came under fire after Liverpool were knocked out of the FA Cup by Championship side Reading earlier this month.

That defeat led former Reds captain Ronnie Whelan to say the Spaniard should be replaced.

But despite his side's poor form, Benitez received the backing of Liverpool's board.
