Baddestguyp: apparently someone cannot criticize something again
I've been hyping The Flash for quite a while on this thread without complaining much about the CGI on the trailers because it was still in progress and I believed it would be fixed before the release of the movie...
Now that I saw the final trailer and the CGI still looks quite underwhelming... apparently I should not complain abi?
DC fanboys sha...don't become like Marvel fanboys that defend anything exactly what I wanted to point out!!!!!! Even the first trailer the cgi was really bad Marvel has its issues but its CGI can't be as bad as DC super girl was looking like a plastic toy held by a child to fly |

Baddestguyp: you never had issues with the length of the movie? That's quite surprising cos many people did have issues with the length as from what I've seen online... And tbh the movie had no reason to be that long
Honestly I can't remember much about Chapter 3...but it's quote weird that none of his associates mentioned such an easy way out for John Wick... In chapter 4 there seemed to be quite a number of people who knew about that method
The rule too makes things quite easy...you can kill the Marquis or commit any attrocity and walk Scot free by simply challenging the new Marquis to a duel...or if you don't have a family already, you can join one and do the challenge...
It means any member of a family can do and undo and simply walk away free with a duel Hmm you're right tho but maybe the reason the declaration wasn't in part 3 was because there was no Marquis🤔🤔 |

Baddestguyp: I didn't go in expecting a masterpiece story...I went to see Keenu Reeves kick some àss.... And I did enjoy the movie and the fight scenes
My major complaints however are:
1. Length...3 hours was too much...it became very tedious...it was like watching a 3 hours fighting compilation...it was fun for a while, then it became a chore... The fight on the busy road was refreshing tho
2. Resolution...the resolution was quite weak. After killing the previous Marquis...all he had to do was join a family and stage a duel with the new one to be free from his obligations? What was the point of Chapter 3 then?
Watching a movie for fighting scenes doesn't mean I won't notice these things 1. In my opinion tho it was long enough 2. John Wick didn't know it could be resolved that way because right from the beginning we already know he had no knowledge about the High Table not to talk of its old traditions and we already know the owner of the New York Continental won't give up any information without gaining anything from it |

Baddestguyp: John Wick 4 ..... 6.8/10
Review will be as spoiler-free as possible since most haven't watched it
It's kind of expected but this movie is 95% fights and 5% story.... This may seem normal for a John Wick movie, but the 3 hours length makes it far more noticeable
You could as well watch a YouTube compilation of fight scenes in John Wick 4 and you wouldn't have missed much
The action scenes were good but went on for too long that they got tiring. Having several action scenes of like 30minutes length does get tiring in a 3 hours movie
They really could have reduced this movie to 2 hours
My favorite action scene was the one on the road with cars driving by. That was awesome and chaotic... And as usual, with fight scenes having less cuts, they were awesome
I personally didn't like the story direction in this movie and the ending too... I'm yet to see the point of the Mr. Nobody and his dog...felt like a character the movie could have done without
Also, as usual, police don't exist in the John Wick world. The bodies piled up would have been impossible to clean I totally get your point but if you've watched every John Wick movie, you should know that this is totally fantasy, it shouldn't be seen as realistic in any way whatsoever, it's just like rating the flash movie as realism which would be totally bourgeoisie. Art has its form. Stahelski in an interview said he wanted the action to be as overthetop as possible and he absolutely nailed it in every scene 100% imp. It's just like RRR, as over the top as possible. Are Bullet proof suits real? No fckn way. Just enjoy the action don't think too much I've watched it in cinemas and rewatched it today. The cinematography of this movie is impeccable, if you pause in any frame you could decide to make any part a wallpaper bro. The attention to detail is so on point that I had to rewatch some scenes to totally get it. The scene where the Owner of the New York Continental was walking past the art placed on the walls if you're an art student or aficionado you'd realise it says something about the 60 forms of defeat and the Manager (after researching that scene) took 60 steps to the middle!!!!(mind blown!) The action was so damn great bro and that's the main deal about this movie - no one really cares about the story, we just want to see some ass whooping bro!!!! Awesome art direction, stunt work. It wasn't like some movies where some actors will be waiting for their turn to get their ass kicked broo, If you check the background actors there made real time decisions! If you didn't like John Wick 4, you were just looking at it at the wrong direction. Is just like rating a Wes Anderson movie by its humor alone To me John WICK was 9.5/10.

BlackManta: GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 3 REVIEW
A SATISFYING CONCLUSION TO A SPECTACULAR TRILOGY
GOTG 3 is James Gunn's swan song and final entry in the MCU and as you would expect, it is very good and entertaining movie.
This movie packs a punch with everything you'd expect from a great MCU movie. It has a very good, compelling and emotional story. Great action sequences, beautiful visual effects. Satisfying characters.
Every Guardian in this movie has moments where they get to shine very well, even Kraglin and Cosmo had their moments. Peter Quill was fun to watch. His arc was nice and he got a satisfying send off.
The Russo Brothers really put Gunn in a tight spot when they killed off Gamora and brought back a different version of the character. But James Gunn showed his amazing skill as a writer and tackled that situation head on by introducing a whole new theme of dealing with loss and learning to let go.
Mantis and Nebula were fun to watch in this movie. Drax is also funny. Although the humor in this one is not as good as the previous films but it was okay overall. Groot was fine and he seems to have evolved into a more efficient member of the team. The way he utilizes his body in this movie was really innovative.
Chukwudi Iwuji as the High Evolutionary is a perfect casting. He brought his A game and delivered a very good performance as the villain. The High Evolutionary as a villain is well written. He is a sadist, powerful and terrifying. He means business. The movie doesn't just do pointless exposition telling you how evil he is. They actually show him doing extremely evil sh*t. There's a whole action sequence where this guy nukes an entire planet. He's the best villain in the trilogy.
The story is very emotional, so moving. Especially Rocket's backstory. It was painful and soul crushing. There was a scene where he asked if he could follow his old friends but Lyla said "No, you still have a purpose here".
Everybody in my theatre was silent when that scene played out.
Guardians of the galaxy is mostly funny and lighthearted. But vol 3 gets very dark and gritty. The movie makes a point against animal cruelty by showing some gruesome unorthodox experiments metted out on poor creatures.
But don't worry. The movie is not entirely dark and gritty. The other half of the movie is lighthearted and James Gunn does a great job balancing tonal differences.
Another thing I love this movie is the personal stakes. The guardians are not trying to stop a world destroying egomaniac. Instead they are in a race against time to save the life of a friend. This makes for a more heartfelt and compelling story. A much better story than GOTG 1 and 2.
The visuals in this movie is very well done. It's beautiful and watching this movie you can tell that the VFX crew had plenty of time and room to do an excellent job.
The action is spectacular. James Gunn is a great action director. There's this one take 4 minutes action scene that he did in some kind of hallway with all the guardians. It was so good. I can't wait to see it again.
The one thing I dislike about this movie is the subverted expectations. The trailers give you the impression that someone is going to die, as a matter of fact James Gunn in one of his interviews implied that not all of the guardians will survive. Well, now I've seen the movie, I can tell you for a fact that all of them survived even the villain.
There's a new character in this movie. Adam Warlock. I didn't care for him and I thought he stuck out like a sore thumb.
Overall this is a great movie. I think it's tied with GOTG 1 as the best in the trilogy.
Top tier MCU. A diamond in the rough considering the fact that MCU overall is at its weakest right now with a forgettable phase 4 and a phase 5 that started with a crap Antman movie.
GOTG 3 is refreshing. A satisfying movie that reminds us how good the MCU can be.
My rating…. 9/10 Guardians of the Galaxy has always had the best intros😩✊ |

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 I decided to watch this movie in Filmhouse IMAX for the first time and it was definitely worth it This could definitely be the best MCU movie after Winter Soldier for me. The intro of this movie took the number one spot of the best intro after its predecessor GOTG Volume 2 The pacing of the movie is incredible and there was no time I was bored. Nowadays where MCU humor is so bland and unoriginal, the humor mixed with its awesome dialogue just did it for me😌 The only thing that didn't do it for me is the emotions they wanted the audience to feel..... but maybe I just need to rewatch it to fully grab sha A perfect 9/10 |

It's giving me AOT vibes that there's a world out there...maybe even a full civilization
But then where I am, they're talking about sending those who want to go outside...sending them outside...which means something is actually outside
They know that caging people forever will never work, people will riot...and besides it works as population control
My guess is the Silo was built for an experiment... something like what happened in Claymore...
If it was just the air being toxic, how did the humans have enough time to build a full underground Silo while on the brink of a full disaster?

Wtf? Who TF allowed that line on a documentary? It's insulting to the audience

Evil Dead Rise- 7/10 Scary asf! I took a dare to watch this movie in the midnight- grave mistake!! Great movie compared to the rest, bland Cinematography, I would have loved the story details but it was no where to be found, I didn't feel anything for the characters getting maimed but if you're looking for a movie to scare the shit out of you, this is it.
The Covenant 9/10 This is an almost perfect movie for me The only thing it lacked was creativity: it felt generic but it did everything I expected a guy Ritchie movie to do
John Wick 10/10 This movie will be remembered for ages to come as an action juggernaut and what other action movies should emulate in the future

Donjazet2: Okay so these are my very best season movies of all time! Across all genres.
What makes a good season movie for me are;
-wonderful storyline or scriptwriting, that is, good intricate interwoven plotlines that leave you wanting more. Eg, Breaking bad, sense8, the wire etc. -Superb cinematic production value. Series that when you watch, you see that money was well spent, the asthetics, scenery and the likes were well crafted. Game of thrones, legend of seeker, the west wing.
Top notch Creativity. Wonderful performances from the actors. Olivia pope in scandal, Annalise Keating in HTGAWM. Jack Bauer of 24 etc. Malik of mr robot. House of cards.
Of course educative and informative.
So these are my very best seasonal movies. Many possess all or most of the qualities i listed above. I just couldn't get enough. Although some disappointed with the endings but the vast majority were jaw dropping.
Ps; i love all genres of series apart from maybe "religious and conservative series". My favorite genre has to be political drama series. Any series that has the office of the president or a form of government intrigue, constantly features the white house or pentagon or other bureaucracy like the CIA, FBI or the likes. So sometimes this can mix up with detective series. But political dramas like west wing, house of cards, scandal, veep, 24 are some of my favorite.
In no particular order but my top 5 being the very best before the rest of the best. The wire Game of thrones The west wing (i cannot overemphasize this series enough) Breaking bad 24 Midnight mass Squid games. House of cards Fargo Ozarks Peaky blinders True detective Homeland Fringe Mr robot. Money heist. Elite Veep How to get away with murder Vikings Scandal Better call Saul Boston legal Person of interest Suits Desperate housewives. Billions Succession Narcos Criminal minds Smallville (just personal appeal) Madam secretary The boys
There you have it! There is not a single series you would watch on this list that you wouldn't enjoy and want more. These are the very best of entertainment from my experience. Thank God you said personal appeal |

My initial quote was that it was probably the best directed episode...not that it was the best episode of TV
And I stand by that... The directing in that episode beats Ozymandias imo
You can argue about other elements in the episode...but for direction, it easily beats it imo
You're free to agree or disagree imo
And Ozymandias isn't even in my own top 10 episodes of TV... I haven't watched Mr Robot Sha, what's your top 10 |

Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi will receive half of his ex-wife Hiba Abouk’s net worth as a divorce settlement.
Recall that the PSG star’s ex-wife Abouk was unable to inherit half of his €70 million fortune because Hakimi reportedly has nothing to his name.
According to the reports, the Moroccan international transferred all of his assets into his mother Mrs. Fatima’s name.
Recently, new reports have surfaced suggesting that the 24-year-old may be eligible to inherit half of the assets owned by his 36-year-old wife.
After the PSG full-back was charged with rape by the French Prosecutor in March 2023, the actress filed for divorce.
She had reportedly demanded half of the footballer’s fortune in the divorce suit but was shocked to find out that Hakimi has nothing in his name.
Emerging reports claimed the mother of two could suffer more setbacks as Hakimi is looking to get half of her wealth as a divorce settlement
