abduleez1: Yep. Not it's entirety but I've read Aegon's Conquest and some of his son's exploits. And a bit of other parts of Fire and Blood (Dance of the Dragons).
Nice, I'm not ready to read fire and blood yet, don't want to spoil house of the dragon for myself
abduleez1: Yea... Aegon's Conquest shoulda been the first.... The story is too top tier to ignore. I don't really mind if they do it before or after. My own is they must adapt that show. I also have this burning itch to see Valyria during their peak before their destruction.
I'm honestly not sure who asked for this... They could have as well just made a crime series with any other Character...
I'll predict it here They're just banking on the Batman name and they'll probably save a pointless Batman short appearance for fan service at the end of the season
BlackManta: Flash cannot pull Super Mario numbers. I highly doubt it.
Even if The Flash is a spectacular movie with overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics and audiences, there's no chance of a billion dollars.
The Ezra Miller situation, the lack of interest in DCEU and "superhero fatigue" are tough hills the Flash must climb to be successful.
If it pulls anything close to $800m, WB should celebrate.
Even the MCU will not get a billion dollar grosser this year.
Actually it could o Everyone has been waiting for the flash for a long time now plus it is the actual beginning of the James Gunn universe plus if it's a cool movie and rewatchable enough it could gross that amount But you're very right bout Marvel
The best Tv Series most times fall short in its final brake but some have the greatest 30-50 minutes of television history Mine is definitely between Felina (Breaking Bad) & Avatar the last Airbender finale What's yours?
Visual storytelling is good, but when it affects viewer enjoyment or the viewing experience, it becomes bad
Torturing viewers to watch hours in black and white just to make a point that could have been made through many other ways is a TERRIBLE DECISION
Compare this to how Mr Robot S4 did it's visual storytelling That's a method that is powerful and entertains the audience as well... It gives enjoyment, not torture
Hmm I understand your point What do you think is the greatest finale in tv history 🤔
Struggled to even watch the black and white crap in the last few episodes...
You don't sacrifice audience interest for aesthetics or to pass a message that Jimmy's new life is depressing and bleak...
There are better ways to pass across this message, they chose the worst possible way and lost the audience investment Some fans can cope all they want...THE FACT IS THE CHOICE TO USE BLACK AND WHITE WAS A TERRIBLE CHOICE
It's like showing a part of a movie in 240p to pass a "message" or show a "theme"
Apart from the Court scene...I literally watched the last few episodes in 20mins... Fast forwarded so much...boring af with black and white nonsense
Actually if you felt the last episodes were bleak, you got the point
Baddestguyp: What exactly is the point of these black and white scenes in Better Call Saul?
I've been skipping them since season 1...
Now in S6...I'm seeing full episodes of Black and White... Annoying af
Feels like time wasting... I have skipped everything since season 1
No matter whatever message they're trying to pass across, it's pointless since the mode is annoying
Viewers will simply skip it since most people aren't gonna watch some black and white nonsense when we aren't in the 1900s
It's called Visual Storytelling bruh The Black and white is mostly to portray the tone. The use of black and white is to draw the viewer's eye and aid in the framing of shots is spectacular. It is also underscoring and symbolizing Saul Goodman's journey out of darkness and toward the light 🤭 It's fckn cool
abduleez1: How some w@nkers thinks at times ehn is baffling AF. Seeing the comments and seeing a few weird woke dumbos trying to say Bella out to receive more money and even suggesting equal pay is mind boggling. You begin to wonder whether any of those weirdos have ever worked a single day in their lives or just choose to be hypocritically woke.
Some mugus are even spinning it to gender pay gap. 🙃🙃
Who the fvvk knows who Bella Ramsey is? The only project she's known for, she didn't even get up to 20 minutes total for 8 seasons of GOT. Just used in a couple scenes and backing orders and people thinks she's that important. Oberyn Martell is far more memorable and a major player for a whole season than Bella could ever dream of.
A 19 year old getting paid $700k for 10 episodes in her FIRST lead role and breakout performance is more than enough. This ppl dey underrate Pedro Pascal with his lead roles in Narcos, WW84, Mando and other numerous roles in various films and TV shows. 20+ years of experience comparing a kid that's been nonexistent in entertainment since GOT ended.
GloriousGbola: NOBODY is indispensable and actors are replaced all the time.
Likeness can be damned if it comes to that.
Some actors are indispensable, if they change some actors, the franchise could fall short, for example, think of someone replacing Millie Bobby Brown as eleven in stranger things
armadeo: The worst movie ever made. A movie so bad that they made a movie about making the movie ( the disaster artist ).
I watched the room out of curiosity and it was awful. Funny thing was it played for days in the cinema because the director writer actor managed to pay to keep the movie on screen.
God awful movie. Completely senseless yet mad so popular by its " badness'. Lol.
Most famous line: you're tearing me apart Lisa classic😂
Even though I am aware that Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is based off one of the most phenomenal games which was commonly known to start the entire RPG craze but have not played at all, I definitely say that it's definitely a ground-breaking fantasy film in all of it's glory.
Everything added in the film are pretty much enjoyable such as the fantasy backgrounds, the special effects, and even the cast which includes Chris Pine and even has Fast and Furious star Michelle Rodriguez. As much of a entertaining film this is, I'd say it's the greatest fantasy film that you'll ever get than to many others such as Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Clash of the Titans, Jason and the Argonauts and a bunch more for the list to continue.
I am definitely even aware that there was a previous Dungeons and Dragons film from the early 2000's however that one was considered to be a box-office bomb and was even followed with 2 sequels but surprisingly I have not seen them at all. Sure most people would definitely stick to this film because it is by far the best movie.
If you're a big fan of RPG games and have been playing D& since your childhood then I would say Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is the perfect choice to bring back memories of playing D& as a kid
It's a super duper piece of movie. The storytelling style is unique and superb. Mixing arcade gaming style with that of live action. The acting from Taron Edgerton and co was top notch. The score and set design was really good too. Kudos has to be given to the director for this beautiful piece of art. While the movie is fun and entertaining, it still has subtle themes of seriousness, bleakness and desperation within, especially when you consider the repression and economic downturns or negatives of the film's communist Russia ideals.
Went in with high expectations and came out never disappointed. Apple TV+ cooked here.
I was hooked from start to finish.
Frs gee, I loved every moment of the movie although there were plotholes but nonetheless a great movie
abduleez1: Sadly, Little Mermaid doesn't look like it's going to flop at the moment. Especially after it's consistently ranking in one of the most anticipated movies of 2023. It's also a family movie so it has got some momentum. Unless, something drastic happens, it's going to win the audience. It's one movie as well as Barbie I'm very curious about their performance this year. Two very similar movies.
Exactly, but if it doesn't 700 million it'll be considered a flop sha, but most of the time Disney makes a lot of money on this kind of movies nonetheless

Better call Saul Cinematography and the need for less generic Nollywood movies
I just recently finished the series Better call Saul and after honestly rating it as one of my top 5 series of all times, the question on my mind is when will Nollywood ever invest in its cinematography to tell stunning visual stories?
During my years of watching Nollywood movies, mostly forced on me by the media and peers, I have never watched a Nollywood movie where I'm amazed by the beautiful scenery or stunned or confused by how the hell they could figure out a camera angle or an unusual camera dolly or pan, most of Nollywood movies 90% don't even move the camera at all, just drop the camera at a spot and sleep on it. Most of the opening scenes of BCS are just shots of things - normal stuff, sometimes the camera will be inside a coffee machine or the camera will be facing a mirror unknown to the viewer, there was this shot I absolutely loved and rewatched a lot of times- the scene where ants were feasting on an ice-cream brooooo! Just a simple shot with amazing sound design and music. Still wondering when Nollywood would ever do something like that. Stories should be unique and mostly suspenseful but Nollywood movies are just usually generic the same garbage thrown at us constantly. The action is meh. I just think visual storytelling without dialogue sometimes is integral to storytelling, the feel of a surrounding, the colour grading and camera movements are all part of storytelling I just hope Nollywood thinks of all this in the future😪
