The description of that God sounds like a narcissist, anarchist and a tyrant who has power to stop all the evil but derives pleasure in seeing his children suffer.

Jesus transforms lives, take this fact with you everywhere you go. He can forgive your sins.

Religion does not mean you are religious, it can just be nominal. Most so called atheists here are professing christians. Where they are asked of their religion, most will claim to be christian. Everybody is a christian or muslim in most places in Africa and Asia. It's in the the closet that most(not all) have no religion. The average drunkard, yahoo thief, cultist, and ritual killer will claim a religion and blame the devil for their misdeeds when caught. They are not religious. Some of them don't even go to church, mosque or temple except on special occasion or for social reasons. Religious people are people who are scrupulous, manifesting faithful devotion to an acknowledged ultimate reality or deity. That's why i mentioned pastors. Not everyone that claims to have a religion is religious. For example, in the new testament, we had many Jews but they were not all religious like say the Scribes or Pharisees or even disciples of Jesus. There were publicans, prostitutes and possessed people there. There were the nominal average Jew there. These people were not considered religious, nonetheless they were not atheists.
So again, there's no conversation until you bring in relevant and complete data and facts.
