This fellow needs help, he must be mentally stressed. Selling refineries is not the solution to pump price duh. Nigeria is still among the world's cheapest petrol/litre. We sold NEPA and NITEL. Is data less expensive today or electricity? What needs to be done is already being done. There's no way subsidy will be removed and the impact not felt. It's SUBSIDY right? But things will only get better by the year by God's grace. Tinubu is on the best path humanly possible. |

All based on trust. The governors trust Tinubu so far. They didn't trust GEJ the thrift spender that year. Tinubu has saved 1trillion or more in one month. How many million did Obi lamba claim to save on beer in 8 years again? First class brain no be chinko bangladeshi product. |

obailala: FAAC isnt only oil based, but oil revenue makes a chunk of it. Non-payment of subsidy and an increase in the exchange rate are the 2 main factors responsible for the surge in FAAC allocation. Subsidy was removed May 29. June FAAC was about 750billion, i don't remember the exact amount. July is 1.9trillion. This is almost three times of June. Logically explain how subsidy removal is a MAIN factor. Where was this factor in June FAAC? |

Money shared in FAAC has just moved from 786billion in the previous month to a record 1.9trillion. Stop playing. Tinubu knows how to make money. Ask Mobil and Lagos. Your states are getting almost times three 3X of what they usually get. Keep close eyes on them instead of wailing Tinubu all year long. |

That smartness usually bothers on illegality. So apart from developed countries where they know they will be caught, and those countries don't usually anyhow people to come. Other countries that think we are all normal humans in Nigeria suffer the "culture shock". We perceive others as slow and dummy, bringing problem on ourselves and our future. |

obailala: This increase is apparently for 2 main reasons:
1. Oil revenue exchanged at N750 instead of N450 2. No subsidy paid Subsidy was not deducted before sharing before. Hold your governors very closely. They pay salaries and made budgets and contracts in naira. They are owing some of you months of salary. |

flokii: It's only in developed countries that the phrase "market forces" can be deemed fit because they have several market indices and tools to monitor and analyze changes in fuel price no matter how small which we lack in Nigeria.. Ask them for data now, you'll start hearing stories.
Moreover, the main idea behind "market forces" is to make prices competitive and become affordable for people to get products but reverse is the case with NNPCL in Nigeria.. their own market forces is to hike prices and kill Nigerians. How do they expect people earning below 50k monthly with families, some less than 30k monthly in some states to survive? Wickedness of the highest order. How much is PMS in those other countries? It was sincerely and reasonably expected that PMS price would go up at least at this beginning. With the floating of naira and removal of subsidy, tell how you expect PMS price to be immediately less? Since you have data, can you please inform the house on the amount of PMS in Ghana, Cameroon, UK, USA, UAE etc. |
