Hanibbal:There is too much food and water available for man. Though man was not made to live by bread alone or on earth alone. Adam fumbled much of that. |
OkCornel:All were in the first Adam as saints are in the last Adam. The bulk rested on Adam |
kingxsamz:Did God tell you in the dream that bomb would not blow in churches, because i read and reread my Bible, it's not there. What we do see is that the fool has defined God, God didn't fit into his foolish definition, therefore to in his folly, there is no God. This is Samuel's story and song. But God will hear mummy's cry. She must persist. |
ogelekpomgam:You should learn to read and react in public. |
Redomi:They'd be saintly and there would be justice and fairness. |
petra1:Rubbish, Jesus Christ won. Come up hither to my level Jo, there's no man worship there. You know how much i love you with the love of God all these years. You know it. |
LOOMING is an understatement, but let me not say something negative sha. It will be well ![]() |
kingxsamz:That's more of favour, not grace. |
LordReed:How can the number not be in question when it is so consistent from beginning to the end? |
BassReeves:Reed has no shame, he cannot stand abashed. i know him very well. |
LordReed:He objected because you are being sly and economical with the truth. While polygamy was permitted in the OT, it was not in the format you are equating it. What you are equating it to was termed ADULTERY or FORNICATION, not concubinage. The affair the OP refers to is not being a concubine. The girl does not even know if the man is married according to the story, she does not know his family and his family does not know her. The one in the Bible, everybody know themselves and their position. They know Bilhal no be wife, na concubine. Leah na first wife, Rachael na second wife. All of them know and live with each other. Of course it's never the best like we have said, but it was so in the OT. |
LordReed:Liar, there is no such verse. The least they had were concubines, and those concubines were not secret affairs. They were living with them as a sort of lesser wives. It wasn't flinging around with people in hotels. |
Hanibbal:Lol, we did not have the kind of population explosion that we have had in the last century ALWAYS. World population in 1000AD was around 310million, 1900 around 1.6billion and in 1960 over 3billion. Another 60years later and we are around 8billion. So population growth has being more of exponential recently. And BTW, we are not too many oh. It is just that we do not know how to manage resources. Area of land is about 150 billion meter square. If you do the Maths, it fits us all, not to now mention working with storey buildings and skyscrappers. If you know the amount of food, water, energy etc that is being wasted, you would probably blow the trumpet immediately. Nonetheless, the plan was never for us to remain here on earth alone or forever. The initial inhabitants were not confined here. At times I would start doubting that God wanted us to live forever from the beginning. Nairalander's please what's your take on this.Man was made to choose between the tree of life and the other tree. Earlier, man lived very long despite not eating the tree of life. They would die at some point though, so it was not automatic eternal life. Eternal life was lost by Adam not eating the tree of life, not by Adam eating the other tree. Remember he was sent out of Eden before he could eat the tree of life. Let's pick it up from there i suppose. Edited |
kingxsamz:Their father promised to protect them in church? When are you going to stop being ignorant, Samuel? |
petra1:Stay one lane oga Jo, anything can yield to the Spirit, even rocks and a dumb donkey. Your point is that emotions give a sort of measure of one's openness to the Spirit or God. And that men are not open since they are not emotional. It's not usually so. Spiritual things are not measured that way and you need to stop teaching that. stop being critic are you in their heart ?i don't have to be in their heart, i have seen them many times. You should open your eyes and see too. Jesus said to WATCH. do they? why do tou just critically cook your assumption in front of computer. is church service about a fall? why not attemd a branch. when you see teaching your body will come down . you realize hoe wrong you have been.i believe you saw the question mark, right? You certainly must have learnt about punctuation marks somewhere, they are not designs. now you criticize finney just becauee of pastor chris what bile? just kike thise who condemn a version of the bible just to stick to thier ideologyYou seem to be reading to reply, not understand or take to correction. And you are so quick and filled with emotion that you cannot even care about spelling and correction. If you read properly, i put Finny, the Bible and Wesley in the same breath and sentence. How then am i criticizing anyone of them because of Pastor Chris? are you in my heart. presumtion sins!"your pastor is likely". You should update yourself on the meaning of the word "likely" and the part it plays in a sentence. If it is not true you simply say so. i give up on youJo, you said it yourself, remember. You said at times, he falls. At times means it is not often. He's not falling all over the place. Or is he not open to God in those times? Judge yourself, use yourself or your mentor as a yardstick. If falling is a measure of being open to God like you teach, then it means most of these our pastors and Bible characters are not open abi, because they no dey fall. did i?. do every body fall? what is the matter with you and this fall? that only seldom happens in certain IMPARTATION service. cec is a teaching ministry dude.Oh, falling is now seldom. Good. But does that not mean that you are not open to God, or you are rigidly fighting God? Because this is what you said that i challenged. have i used thise things before should be your question? wwlk eith God is personalThen you should stop teaching at all and let people do their personal walk na. See talk oh. Why is your pastor bringing it up in a teaching if not to teach? Was he saying it for jokes? i can only say youre carnal minded on spiritual issues. you work with assumotion like many religous people do.Lol upon lol Now you want to leave me and attack chuch lol, lola, lollipop i don't have a church bro, i am a member of the Church. i have many pastors, evangelists, apostles, teachers and prophets though. God dashed me, gloryyyyyyyyy. |
Kobojunkie:You have real problem this koboko. That truculent spirit Bass talked about needs deliverance. You know God is not against polygamy but you don't agree that God permitted polygamy. To permit is to allow, tolerate or condone. What do you mean by "that which God declared from the beginning"? |
wolesmile:You should be asking little Reed riding hood, he was talking about the WIVES as side chicks. |
LordReed:Stop broadcasting your folly my man little reed. We are not in the OT. You should be referring to Jesus, Peter, James, Paul, Timothy and co. And BTW King Solomon had 700 WIVES, not the side chicks you are insinuating. Technically, he was not even committing adultery. Show some respect, i know how you begged and wooed and almost went bankrupt to get just one wife. |
petra1:Emotions has little to nothing to do with spiritual sensitivity. One can weep like a total wreck and not even repent. The other fellow that just simply closed the eye and raised the hand may have a most radical change of life. It is possibleMost of them have nothing tangible to show for it. Check properly, at least they fall every week in your location, right? There was no so called prior explanation or expectation in the Bible accounts or the examples of Wesley and Finney that you reminded us of. Like i said, your pastor is likely the most spiritual person in your eyes. He's not falling all over the place. So stop using falling as a sort of measure of openness to God or receipt from God MORE THAN others. BTW, i heard your pastor say that God told him not to use chain or dark sunshades or something. i know you will follow hook, line and sinker BECAUSE na your pastor talk am. That's one of my grouse with you, the cult-like man worship you guys give. Imagine if i came and taught same thing from the Bible without your pastor saying so, you will mock me and call me all sort of names. may God help us. |
Kobojunkie:Like Bass and even little reed has been trying to show you, polygamy was clearly permitted in the OT. God's servants like Abraham, Jacob, David and Solomon engaged in it. Even laws were made for the provision. Exo 21:10 If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish. Psa 90:8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. The phrase "SECRET sin" is as the name suggests, sins that are hidden from others. The case of the OP is likely a secret sin, not known by the wife, family, church etc. This was not the case of the so called concubines that the kings had. The concubines were known and they even lived in the kings' or man's house. They were kind of lesser wives, like servant wives. It's not the secret affair that the people don't know on the girl's side and on the man's side. Little reed clearly does not know much, you should know better. i did not remember using the word "abolish" though. But a study of the new testament shows that it is not permitted. You are pretty much USELESS in the NT if you have more than one wife or one husband. You cannot even be a servant/deacon. And of course, you cannot be a bishop. Basically a leper. And as Jesus taught, from the beginning it was not so. God made them male and female, not male and femaleS. |
BassReeves:i tire for koboko ohhh. He's eternally that way, always arguing pseudo. |
Kobojunkie:Polygamy was permitted in the OT, secret sin and adultery was not. All three are not permitted in the NT. |
Kobojunkie:i mean to say polygamy, i guess i mixed it. edited |
LordReed:Having many wives is not the same as adultery and secret sin described in the old testament. Stop clowning around |
kingxsamz:Get exposure, someone with internet in 2021 still thinks people don't preach, think and believe the Bible in the UK. Even their school syllabus and curriculum teaches these things. |
kingxsamz:Could be a life if the proof is not so evident. |
LordReed:Sly reed, we are in a new covenant duh. In this covenant, servants of God have one wife if any. Some time ago, there was no social distance or wear mask or do Covid test before doing things. Get real, secret sin and adultery is not what happened in the verses you refer. |
The music industry is of great blame. |
petra1:There you go ohh. i do not doubt that people fall, my grouse is with the point that you made that it is a show of openness to God. No, it is not. And what is so common these days is a watered down unscriptural version with nothing to show for it. We saw possessed people fall in the Bible and get delivered, same also happens in deliverance of possessed people today. That is not looking much like the scope of our discussion though. The one we are discussing is the "Take it" version and similar kundalini(occult) styled demonstrations prevalent today in churches and not found in the Bible but more in the occult. The main issue here is that this people do not get anything spiritually significant. They still remain liars, adulterers, thieves, angry, divorced, proud and unforgiving. In summary they still remain sinners. This is incomparable to the move of God in the life and ministry of people like Finney where people fell and quit sin, drunkenness, wickedness etc immediately. And it wasn't even something either they or the minister expected, it was the power of revival and prayers. It's not in the same line Jo. |
petra1:Actually, you are the one reading wrong meaning here, and type correctly. What is wrong with your computer or phone? i did not say that christians are possessed but that from the scriptures and most experience, it is possessed people that fall and are prone to fall. The idea that falling down is mark or mrasure of openess to God didnt come from me but from you maybe as a form of mockery i dont know. you keep twisting my posts when my communication is so simple and so clear. The OP asked "why is it women that fall mostly during deliverance?" Your reply was "Men do.fall under the power . it depends on the case . The power of God manifest in women more because they are more open to God . Men can be rigid fighting God ." But here you are saying that this is my idea? Take time ohh Jo, i forgive you again.I will say ahsin that people fall under the power of God for several reasons. People legs can give way when the power of God hits them. The majority fall due to expectation and pressure, and it is BY NO MEANS a measure or show of openness to God. Like we both know, there is very rarely a tangible need for these falls as the people remain the same in most cases. They keep falling every other week with nothing to show for it. We that did not fall, we received so stop teaching that it has anything to do with openness to God. you just enjoy to criticize. Pastors have fallen under power. praise worship leader has falling under power. people can fall when a higher person in authority minister to them. The first experience i had with someone was while ministrying the holy spirit to a young convert in 1998. As i laid hands on him and said "receive the holy spirit" he fell down rolling on the ground speaking in tongues. ive ministered the holy spirit to others but the experience differ. so i still dont know this to and fro. camera man matter. a camera man is focussed on his shot . security man is focussed on suspicious activity. those who need healing are focussed on receiving. The spirit will touch based on expectationi don't enjoy to criticize, there you go hurting my dear feelings. i love to help though, it's part of my work in the body . Any where you need help, i'll try showing you. Just keep it on experience differ and stop making a teaching of it. Let me stop there to help you. ![]() |
petra1:Jo, if you are teaching, you have to be consistent, coherent, factual and scriptural. The above is none of that. i don't know the device that you are using but you should review your posts a bit, so many spelling mistakes that make for belaboured reading. i guess you are so lazy now you just feel like sending voice notes. ![]() If you are teaching that falling down is a mark or measure of openness to God, there is no consistency with your pastor's experience or yours or mine. From facts and experience, it is the people "with problem", and possessed ones that consistently fall. The pastor in charge, his wife and family, his cameramen, his pickers do not fall. If they ever do, it is NOT the norm. Either you are saying that they are not open to God or not. You cannot come and claim diversity for consistency. We both know that all human beings are different, unique and wonderfully made. This has nothing to do with your teaching that it is openness to God that makes people fall. Possessed people are the usual ones that fall, they are not more open to God. there are no records of any of the disciples of Jesus falling. Moses, Elijah, Samuel, Daniel, all these greatly anointed men were not falling, or they are not open enough? Don't cover up your goofs and traditions and wrong teachings. Grow and be renewed from the Word of God. All these private interpretation is not necessary. |
LordReed:This doesn't make much grammatical sense if you read and reread it. So you're going to write some bible we can believe, Reed? Is that our plan. |
