All these useless banks send me the same unsolicited text message everyday on how to top up my airtime. Then they'll deduct alert fee,tax fee, admin fee at the end of the month. All these are efforts to frustrate the federal government who reduced the free money banks were getting from government bonds and introduction of TSA. Banks should look for clean and brilliant ways and ideas of making money, not this crude way they've employed.

Yes, they didn't say it was gone. They cancelled earlier crazy deals and crude swaps. Starting from January this year, they arranged periodical reviews of pump price, i think once per quarter. January to March is gone and no subsidy was paid. About 5naira per litre subsidy would be paid this quarter but the money is already available and the money is small COMPARED to previous years. It's not a drain on our budget again.

Father Mbaka was one person that sounded it so loud that buhari was the 'chosen one'. I am not doubting his calling as a man of God but I think with the spate of harsh economic sufferings meted out to Nigerians by the Present government, he should have called them out knowing fully well that he fears no one. His criticisms of Jonathan's government helped buhari ascend to the Presidency

Even some change propagandists like Omojuwa has officially turned a wailer. He didn't want it to look as if he went back to his vomit after criticizing the previous government. But from his rants, a discerning mind would see that he would have preffered the Previous government.

Now the question is, why is father Mbaka yet to speak on the harsh sufferings of Nigerians?

The question was directed at you. However, your answer paints a perfect picture of how disorganised your everyday life looks like. A sensible person would solve the problem close by, to get that out of the way, while giving assurances to the ones far away that succour is coming. In doing so, you've solved half of ya problem and it'll give you the needed attention to focus on the other half that's left.

With what you posited: no problem would be solved in the next 7days cos the number allocated to the SW won't be enough to solve anything. When you could've easily solved the SW problem, while shifting all the focus to the North.

Err, in future, don't ever contest for an election in naij. And if you're ever offered a political post - politely reject it. You're obviously not a problem solver and you'll only exacerbate the numerous problems wrong with naij. grin

I'm out.
Out and dry you mean. You forget that the problem is an everyday issue not a once in a lifetime thing. Nigeria consumes gasoline DAILY, about 40litres daily according to reports. Tankers load and disperse DAILY. The hyped OP is an average normal occurrence at the depot. The newspaper and webpages that toyed with gullible sentiments have done so and made profits. It changes nothing from the reality on ground daily as regards to supply and distribution logistics. As long as tankers are available from farther distances, they'll continue to get bigger quota. That is how it was, how it is, and how it will continue to be, except dynamics change.

Okay, let's use ya everyday life as a case study. Let's say you have two problems you need to fix urgently. One is very close to you and you can fix it easily with the resources available, while the other is far away and it will take time to fix. How would you go about fixing these problems?
You go about fixing the problem by applicable common sense. The two problems solution is to supply with the farther venue allocated more due to distance logistics. Before one tanker does go and come in 7days to the North, the other tanker has done 3go and come around Lagos and Ogun state.

It's not logical in any form. Economic benefits tends to get more priority over everything else. What is the overall benefits to Nigeria? Left to me 90% of everything should stay in the south to kick start the economy. What Lagos alone lose in a day as a result of fuel crisis is more than what the collective core North will probably contribute in a year. Histories are littered with similar events.

Elder, plz educate me smiley
Sorry if my post makes you feel inferior, being childish or immature is not in age but in behavior and thinking. The point made is that it will take about 6days for one tanker to leave from Lagos depot to the North and back, while a tanker will do go-come three times or more within the same 1week period if carrying fuel within Lagos and southwest. It is therefore not absurd but logical to send more to farther distances.

With all due respect save those diplomatic talk for the northerners who continue to bleed this country dry. Let's just buy your narrative for a minute, do you honestly think the Northerners should get the priority because of the distance? If there is fuel scarcity in UK or USA, do you think they will favour Newcastle over London or that sh¡t hole South Dakota over Newyork just because they are far from the port. Economically speaking, the south needs those tankers more than thr north.

It's simply another shortsighted decision.
It's not priority, it's just common sense. Tankers going North will use about 6days go and come. Tankers in the West would go come in 24hrs or two days. Meaning that they'll make more trips or equal trips in a week. Nobody is favouring anybody, it's just the logical thing to do.

The chief cause of the scarcity was the non payment of subsidy. it was very clear from the start of budget even before election. The FG budgeted about 150billuon and by may 2015, they had used it up and owed over 200billion. The marketers wanted their money before GEJ administration left, hence the scarcity. It is not a matter of sacrifice but of planning and prudence. What sacrifice do you refer to, was GEJ sacrificing his salary or his life savings to pay subsidy? Revenue was dropping and his team didn't know what next to do than to owe and borrow.

For goodness sake, while this is just a day's data and figures may fluctuate based on tanker queues etc. Yet, it is understandable that a tanker from the loading bay in Lagos will reach Lagos and other parts of the Southwest in 24hrs, while tankers loading from Lagos and going to the North will spend 3-4days on their journey to destination. By the way, all the big premier league clubs had their rough patches, yet we can see Man City is still fighting in the prestigious champion's league and rooting for a qualification for the next. This is unlike the April and May scarcities of last year which we all know was caused by mismanagement. Don't twist history please, it is very recent. The fg budgeted about 150billion for 2015 budget because there was no money. By April/May, they were already owing over 200billion for subsidy and differential. This was the cause of the scarcity, not pdp's loss.

The fire started last night around 2 A.m and burnt everything complete. the shops were made of iron. people usually call it canter shop and its mainly occupied by igbos and few Hausa's. Now the questions that people around have been asking is , is it possible for an iron shop to burn and affect other shopshuh its impossible. I can hear peoples saying that the act was Peperated by some Hausa boys to hurt the Igbo's, but that's not the case because the deed has been done.
Around 3.pm today, the Govonor of Gombe state and his entourage, visited the scene.
source: Am an eye witness.
This is lazy thinking. Many things can cause and spread fire. The goods in the shops may be combustible.

What is the succour

How ?

I don't know why you guys just can't hold up than getting into the flesh to insult. The word of God does not need gra gra. Present it plainly without working up emotion and anger ok.

I'm sure you've gotten yourself into a corner hence na biting remain. But the question still remain .

A man prophesied . There' is a terrorist attack coming , tighten your security. Another man prophesied economic crisis is coming. You said the one of economic crisis is the correct one. Tell us what that prophecy has and the one of terrorist does not have . When we are through with this ones I will bring other prophecies out . We go study prophecy today. grin
Succour means help or relief for somebody or something in a difficult or unpleasant situation.
Act 11:29 Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judea:
Act 11:30 Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

i believe and hope you get that, but just in case you don't. Check a dictionary to confirm the meaning of succour, and check other Bible versions/translations of the same passage.
i do not recall insulting you, but i apologise if you felt insulted by the post. Twice, you overlooked or failed to look at the DIFFERENT things that i mentioned that the Word from God can do. i did not imply or state that it must do all at all times. i said and explained that it EITHER does this or that, so it was unfortunate that you kept replying like i only mentioned soulwinning. i have not bitten you, neither am i hungry to. smiley smiley

On your intentions to study, or is it teach us about prophecy, that is nice. Prophecy is basically a Word from God, it's that 'general'. However, i guess you are referring to the act of foretelling, or saying something before it happens THROUGH DIVINE HELP. Most prophecy can be simply a forthtelling or declaration of the Word. But we are in the FORE telling context, right? TB's utterance in that video in the OP are not prophecy but prediction or speculation, and they are definitely NOT from the Lord. Sorry if it offends you but we also have the Spirit of God and are permitted to prove all things and test every spirit. This case is hardly even a spirit, except it is TB's spirit itself at work. It is mere speculation, conjecture that even the News agencies reported. Telling us that terrorists were still in France is not a revelation or a prophecy. CNN reported that the terrorists were being tracked, so obviously normal and secular intelligence, and anybody following the news knew. If you do not know, please Google it, or ask vooks to help(ask and you will receive). Telling us to expect terrorist attack in the North-South is akin to saying the Sun rises in the East and sets in the West. It is obvious.
Now, the prediction part is that it will happen either on Wednesday or Thursday or Friday or Saturday or Sunday. He should tell that to kids please. Unfortunately, we are told that the terrorists did not strike in France, neither did they strike on any of the five options he chose including the Wednesday lifeline he added. So, his prediction has no base, no reason, no standing, no hope, no nothing sef.
Agabus's PROPHECY came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar. The message was clear and it happened. There was no prior indication, tendency or attack. No trend or clue. The church was basking in grace, following Jesus and being called christians, sharing food and even fighting and murmuring over food, appointing Holy Ghost filled people to share food, and then the prophecy came, and was fulfilled. It prepared the people, believers made informed decisions, sent through and to specific people, and mitigated the effect of the famine/dearth. That is what prophecy is like. Not all these nairabetlike talk captured in that picture vooks gave earlier today.
