1. I told you that the soul is invisible to the physical eyes, it'll be strange if you found it. Now that something's invisible doesn't mean it's unreal. Thank God we have a sort of 'base of agreement' as to its functions. The will, the emotions, and the mind/intellect are invisible but real and are all expressions of the Soul. Today, knowledge is increased and you've the privilege of calling it 4names already(brain, cortex, cerebrum, lobe). The medical/biology people still have more names no qualms. I say the body houses the soul in what may most likely be the brain. You've only said that the brain is the soul, not exactly a world away from what i'm saying.
2. Like i earlier said, you may not readily agree. It's the Word of God that says it not just me. i.e about Adam selling our souls to satan. God's work and our creation account is not myth or magic. To humans, i'll call it a miracle.

I've not suggested that you should 'whip the hell' out of anyone. It's probably people like you that give caning a 'whip the hell' picture like abuse it, seeing that's your idea of caning. Caning can be done in moderation and in love. It's a medium of correction and A very good/effective one at that.
The 'ungodly' people you see have either not been corrected/trained, or were not properly trained. When discipline is not properly done or is abused, it won't achieve the aim, and that goes for ANYTHING abused as well.

1. A soul is a part of a human. Like we usually name parts of plants or parts of insects. The soul is invisible but exists as we know its characteristics. It's that part of the human responsible for emotion and will.
2. Adam sold the souls to satan. It's a spiritual transaction you may not readily agree to. God made earth and put Adam in charge. At that point, Adam belonged to God, but Adam disobeyed God and obeyed satan thereby giving him/handing over authority to satan.
3. The soul is in each human. But it belongs to, the devil holds legal rights to it. So even when the physical body is dead, he lays claim to the soul. But thank God, Jesus came to buy us/redeem us back.
4. Which is the good book? I don't know for sure where the soul is located in the human, it's invisible. But there may be strong points to assume it's in what science calls the physical brain, or at least its major functions are there.

It depends on the heart and motive. Like someone said, if a child was sick and it was raining in same intensity. Or if it was raining and its a work day, or exam day. Jesus may still very well ask, do you love me more than these. It borders on your love. Love has to be there. If you enter fire to get to church and have no love for God, its pretty useless as well. Let your decisions be in love and faith, so that God will always be glorified.
Also if you're accused on backsliding, you should examine your past. Did you use to come to church despite such rain intensity in the past? If your graph is going down, maybe he may be right. You may truly be backsliding, and its a clarion call for you to retrace your steps, not just laugh. Anybody can backslide. If its not so, you can grow in commitment, yes? And if the situation is impossible, you can wait behind and see your pastor and maybe explain situations better to him.

Yes, in love. Correction can be done in love. That you think they use canning to relieve stress does not mean everybody uses caning to relieve stress. Not everyone is sadist. Children are like plants, and if they're not strongly corrected would grow up indisciplined and ungodly.

Why not 'worry' for your own self and life. The evil in today is sufficient for you already. Why the anxiety over people you never knew, saw or met. Make sure you know what happens to you that has heard the gospel, believe it and live a life that's heavenly.

The word 'judge' actually means two things, either 'condemn' or 'discern'. We're not to condemn but we're to discern. I hope that's a simple explanation.

Grace is ehnn God's help or favour simply put. It's not unmerited (in the sense that everything is unmerited btw if we tow that context). Jesus needed and had grace, that's d principal reason i believe it's not about been unmerited.
God's grace is sufficient for us, all we need do is use the quantity required if that what you mean by levels.
I think it's by faith and work of faith. If you need grace, simply come boldly to the throne of grace and get it.

Suffering is an effect of sin in the world. It may not necessarily be the sin of the sufferer. In Heaven, no more suffering. So make plans to be there, there's a lot of real suffering for hell participants.

The most important thing for the believer is to make sure that nothing separates him/her from the love of Christ, whether challenges or successes, life or death, angels or demons.
Like david said, challenges may be caused by poor decisions of the past. They may also be given/permitted by God for a purpose, like Paul's famous thorn. But whatever way, we should have the attitude that ALL things work together for our good. This is the way of victory.
