Politics / Re: Ibb Campaign Of Hidden Agendas! by imageman(m): 8:58pm On Nov 11, 2006
Ibb is a parasite,a parasite of progress. Here comes an enemy of democracy trying to contest an election in a democratic system. He proved before that he is nothing but a destructor of everything good in a society.A divider not a uniter-check his records and you will see.Let me say this, ibb is going no where! The closest he will get to living in aso rock as the leader of Nigeria is in his dreams.
Politics / Re: What Is Adedibu's Role In Oyo State? by imageman(m): 4:37pm On Nov 10, 2006
People like Adedibu are the  criminals with little values for human lives. Here is an illiterate politician with no civility values in him.He is the hooligans that is disrupting the peace and tranquility of Ibadan and OYo state in general. When he is long gone and forgotten,I'm sure his epitaph will read like this"here lies a political criminal who terrorized his opponents and victimized his neighbors"What a great epitaph !!!!

Politics / Re: We Need A European Leader To Fix Nigeria? by imageman(m): 12:56am On Nov 10, 2006
This is a sick thread!!! Calling for a white man to come and lead you?To those of you who do not know, the wealth of most Western nations are made from exploitations of other weaker nations. To those who are suffering from inferiority complex, calling for a leadership of a white man, maybe they should apply to be a house boy in a whitemans house, instead of advocating for a whole nation to be in servitude.
The type of people that have been ruling Nigeria and African nations in general are mainly to blame for the pathetic stages most African nations are in now. There are some of you now running like a beheaded chicken after Ibb because of the crumbs he might leave you, rather than fighting for your rights to have a descent leader who will have the good of the nation and her people as motivation for seeking public office. If you want a good leadership, you have to fight for one.
Some of you now calling for the white mans leadership are the same people that do not obey  simple traffic regulations on Nigerian roads.Things are going orderly for the white man, because he obeys his rules and regulations. Some of you don't even want to  wait in line for anything, and you wonder why there is chaos in our day to day lives.
Inferiority complex is a dieseas of the mind that can be cured,i hope those of you suffering from it will cure yourselves of it.

Politics / Re: Free Enterprise Zones For Minority Businesses by imageman(m): 12:35am On Nov 04, 2006
This is another way to enslave Africans over again. Why should there be a free trade zone for oyinbo man and not for a black man? Why should there be a free trade zone for only oyinbo? If a trade zone is created, let it be created for all and not for oyinbo man.And who was the idiot that came with the idea that a free trade zone should be created for oyinbo?I need an answer if anyone knows.
Politics / Re: Is It True That Ladoja Has Been Re-instated As Oyo State Governor? by imageman(m): 8:05pm On Nov 03, 2006
The beauty of democracy is it gives one the ability to choose and the free will to expres ones opinion. What democracy doesn't  impose is the ability to think rationally. To read the views of some on action ruled illegal by the judiciary branch of government by some on this forum is not only funny but mind blowing.Whatever the case may be,the gbegiri politician has met his match who is not a hooligans like him.He used the judiciary to wage his war and his wrongful impeachment.
I know it will be easier to convince a comatose person on why its good for democracy to always obey a legal court ruling than it would be for me to convince  souls that already made up their minds  to follow political hooliganism.
Politics / Re: Is It True That Ladoja Has Been Re-instated As Oyo State Governor? by imageman(m): 1:09am On Nov 03, 2006
The real person disturbing the peace and tranquility of Oyo state is that amala politician called Adedibu. With all the intellectuals in the city of Ibadan, i don't know why they give this old thug the liberty to be disrupting the peace of the lovely city and state. The best place for him might be the prison cell.

Politics / Re: State Of Emergency In Ekiti? by imageman(m): 2:10pm On Oct 20, 2006
To those of you who supported the impeachment of the governor with breaking of rules and proper procedures, this is the main reason we must be very careful at what we support.
You cannot prosper democracy without following the constitution. And when you protect the rights of the guilty ones under the constitution, you are indirectly protecting the rights of the innocent ones.I know this will be very hard for some to  comprehend, but it's the truth.
When you have two factions claiming the mantle of leadership in a state and the judiciary which suppose to be the referee between the executive and the legislative branch of government is interwoven in this conflict, then the federal government has done the right thing to impose a state of emergency. Those of you that are now against the state of emergency will be the same people that will be saying, state of emergency should have been imposed(if things get out of hands and one was not imposed already)
As much as i hate the likes of Fayoses, i have same distate for those who likes to switch on and off the constitution to achieve their own parochial ends. This situations should not have been allowed to get to this stage.Democracy can flourish better if we follow the constitution that is the foundation of all successive democracy.May God bless Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Governor Fayose Finally Impeached by imageman(m): 1:59am On Oct 17, 2006
At the outset, let me first make clear that iam not against impeachment of any corrupt public officer in any part of Nigeria. However,we must be very careful and make sure that we follow the constitution to the letter. The first impeachment panel that was set up found the governor not guilty, though there were allegations that the cj packed the panels with the gov. cronies, and the CJ was removed from office for this reasons.Since the constitution stipulated that only the gov. and 2/3 of the legislature in the state house can remove the cj-
why should there not be a legality issue on this matter?
For democracy to prosper, we must follow the guide lines and rules that will make it effective to prosper. As much as i hate corrupt practices,i hate with equal passions the temptations to hijack the rules of law.To those who will shout at the top of their tongues that the end justifies the means, i beg to differ that it does not.If due process were not followed in the impeachment of Fayose,it is hijack and not victory for democracy.Let's be very careful with the ways we praise actions of politicians irrespective of wether they are legal or not.We are talking about Fayose's rights today,it might be your rights that are trample on tomorrow.

What good can come out of a bad and rotten apple? Nothing! Please., let's face the truth,Ibb is not qualify to rule Nigeria. Here is a guy that ruled for eight good years and has little or nothing to show for it-except his wealth.A tyrant who called himself "the evil genius" and  personifies nothing but evil.A fake democrat, who doesn't believe in the norms of democracy.
He has records to run on,let him run on his records-i bet you,he won't even be able to win a dog catcher election! One quality of a good leader is to be able to unify-Ibb lacks this.
Nigerian leadership is not anyone's  family heritage. You all must remember that events crated by Ibb were directly responsible for the sadistic rule of Abacha. And for the sake of peace and unity in Nigeria Ibb must never be given the chance to rule Nigeria again. To those who worships and admires him, that is your right to do.But, in exercising your rights to support him,you must know that there are millions of us at home and abroad that doesn't  give a flip about Ibb.
Politics / Re: IBB: June 12 Was Cancelled, Not Annulled? by imageman(m): 1:41am On Oct 03, 2006
P3, since you seem to know why Ibb annulled the election, why don't you brief us on the scoop.God is not a mean God,so He won't let Ibb rule Nigeria again. We don't need him to throw Nigeria in another political turmoil. Why is the tyrant sending people to defend him?
Why can't he come out and tell us the reasons why he annulled the elections?
I tell you what, convince him, appeal to him or even beg him to tell us why he annulled the elections. There is no one person that is greater than the society as a whole-those days are long gone.Ibb will suffer for all the atrocities he committed in a tiny cell wether he likes it or not.Trust me on this,he will never rule Nigeria again!
Politics / Re: Independence Day: Nigeria At 46. Hurray! by imageman(m): 11:35pm On Sep 30, 2006
Happy birthday! Many happy returns. Nigeria will grow and Nigeria will progress. We are more than we were, and we are going to be more than we are in term of progress. To the naysayers and the eternal pessimists,Nigeria will rise higher into the solar orbit of greatness in the years to come.Laugh if you must, but the last laugh will belong to those of us who loves and wishes our motherland good.
Some of you compares Nigeria so much with other advanced nations of the world, but in your comparisons, you failed many times to accept the fact that most of the nations were in worst situations in their earlier stages of independence than Nigeria is today.Changes will come to Nigeria, but these are changes that cannot be done by the government alone. It must start with individuals, families, house holds, compounds, hamlets, villages and cities.
Politics / Give Ribadu And EFCC A Chance! by imageman(m): 9:21pm On Sep 28, 2006
This is a general appeal to all people that have been criticizing efcc and Ribadu ,that they should give the guy a chance to do his job.No one has ever taken this type of monumental job before, so let him do his job.To those who have solid proves of corruptions against any public officers expose it out.Don't just make baseless accusations that this person or that person is corrupt and Ribadu is not investigating.I think the whole Nigerians should support and encourage the good work he is doing. With our supports and encouragements,i think efcc and Ribadu will achieve tremendous success against corruptions.

In a democratic society, everyone has the right to express his/her opinions, and more blessings to those who criticizes the efcc constructively.Let's all pray the time will come when corrupt politicians will think more of the society they represent rather than their own selfish interests.

What a world we are living in! So because Ibb is one of many thieves,we shouldn't investigate him? Get real!We have to start from some where.Let's start with Ibb and investigations of others will follow. As for me, i think Ibb needs to be in the slammer and the keys thrown away into the sea.Ibb will never be able to escape from his records-a devious records

Xkape, To annulled and to cancelled brings about the same end -The winner was not allowed the trophy. To me, there is no explanations on terminology that will convince me  to annulled and to cancelled doesn't mean the same thing.Mr Webster himself cannot even explain this away.To annulled is to cancelled and to cancelled is to annulled.
Politics / Re: Are Presidential Elections Necessary For Africa? by imageman(m): 11:59pm On Sep 24, 2006
Josboy4life, America in theory is the oldest democracy, pratically they are not. They established the theories of democracy, but they did not follow it.In the beginnins only people with properties can vote, then all men, then white women were allowed to vote.Eventually, the voting rights of the 60's gave voting rights to the blacks. With these explanations, you are right to argue that they are not the oldest democracy.
Politics / Re: Are Presidential Elections Necessary For Africa? by imageman(m): 1:48am On Sep 24, 2006
My whole political ideology of progress is this, the more political educated the citizens are the better the political landfield will be.Democracy in Africa is still young and it takes time to bring about a close perfection of a system. You must realize that most nations in Africa have never enjoyed a longevity of democratic rules. This has not been realized, because the military were dabbling into politics.I strongly believe that Africa will get her acts together.
As you must also know, the world strongest Democratic nations are not perfect .America ,which is the oldest democratic nation on the face of the earth cannot even claim to have a perfect system, and they have been at this for over two hundred years! One of our biggest problem why elections are rigged in Africa is prevalence of corruption that is ravaging through most nations.
I strongly believe that the day will come when most African Nations will elect leaders that will think of their citizens more than they think of their pockets, leaders that put the interest of their masses above their own selfish interests. And i believe that a politically educated society can bring about these changes.
Politics / Re: Are Presidential Elections Necessary For Africa? by imageman(m): 9:39pm On Sep 23, 2006
Josboy4life, I do understand her point, but we must never give up because elections are rigged in Africa.I do understand her frustrations. But, i strongly believe that there is no system that will hold truth in prison for ever.AS long there is opposition to all governments in Africa, there is always hope that changes will come. The only thing that scares me is a country with "democracy" and no opposition-One party state.
Even the old school politicians that thinks the political seats of power is theirs to hold to perpetuity, will eventually find out that it's not going to be the case for long. And the corrupt norms that makes election riggings to be possible will one day be minimized in African continental
Politics / Re: Are Presidential Elections Necessary For Africa? by imageman(m): 9:01pm On Sep 23, 2006
There is no election that will ever be perfect. But to me,the essence of democracy is the abilities of the citizens to be able to elect someone they trust to represent them in bringing about good government and the benefits that comes with it.You can not compare  the best of any military dictator with the worst of any democratic  government-And this is how strong I'm against any military rule in the African continental.
Democracy in Africa is not  the best it could be,but any election that gives the people the right to choose is better than no election that forces leader on the citizens. And remember that the military boys are trained to be fighters not rulers of a nation!

I was just reading about Ibb on  June 12, he said he cancelled and not annulled the said election. This wayo man wants to play on terminology.I think,if iam not wrong that to cancelled is the same thing as to annul. What do you all think?

If these allegations are real and true, why not tender the facts to the national assemblies?Let there be investigations as to the authenticity of these allegations. For me, i will not defend anyone that is accused of being corrupt, for no one was there when all the back room dealings were made.At the same time , i think anyone that has a rock solid fact or facts against any public officer should bring them to light.
