Afam:
If you understood my post then you would not have come to the conclusion you reach because my post was to point out that while the Nigerian living in the US believes that it is only in Nigeria that electoral fraud will happen and a war will not break out I pointed out a fact that US saw 2 rigged elections under 5 years and nothing happened.

If this is too much to understand then go to the Jokes section
Fact of 2 rigged elections under 5 years ? Your penchant for bending the truth is  unprecedented. Since these 2 elections were obviously "rigged",what has the Democratic majority done about this?

Its interesting that you are unequivocal in branding US elections as "rigged" while showing a shameful reluctance to state same for the Nigerian elections.Your moral myopia is pathetic.

He sure those, he doesnt see it as an issue, that's why am really surprised at the response from the guys in the house! huh
This is bewildering! What has that got to do with women who can't cook at all.In your case,you can cook and so can your husband.In that sense,your situation doesn't apply here.It would apply if you couldn't cook and/or had no interest in cooking.I'm sure your husband would take issues with that.

I just hate when guys start generalising that ladies should be restricted to the kitchen. I know I won't be,
That's not by any stretch of the imagination,the argument here.We are taking issue with that rare specie of women,who can't cook and won't cook.Nobody in his right mind marries a woman solely for her culinary skills but we are saying that such skills are crucial for the success of a marriage

I don't know whether these women are working on behalf of McDonalds,KFC,e.t.c .Its at the very core of feminity,the ability to cook up a meal.Women may find the odd husband who doesn't mind her inability to cook.However,most men will rather prefer that women know how to cook.

You women shouldn't listen to this pathetic adulteration of "women liberation" .Are you also liberated from going into the kitchen? Many women combine a working life with the ability to cook.A working life is no substitute for cooking

sometimes we all miss the point. if a woman can't cook then what her use? mind u, she will not only cook for the husband but family, friends and strangers and it's a shame when a stranger comes to your house and your wife can't set a table before u and the stranger.
What about your kids?Are they going to be eating junk food to compensate for your wife's lack of cooking when you travel out? When I mentioned it earlier,a lady suggested hiring a cook!That's not the ideal solution.

Your wife cooks not only for you but for the children.The kids get to eat most of the food.If your wife can't cook and you are not home. . .its a big problem.

Na wa for you ooo! First you propsed to Seun, now you don follow Jjay1. Seems you are doing what you've accused many men of doing - making your decision on who to be with largely based on cooking.  undecided
Irony.I noted earlier that women make decisions on which men to hook up based on relatively trivial things-money,looks- yet when we proclaim that the ability to cook helps endear us to women,they start hyperventillating

@Seun:
I'm curious, is that really the way you think or you just want to be contentious? If that's the way you think, then your wife will be a very lucky woman.
Talking is the easy part.Its only when he gets married that we can tell whether he can cope with a wife that can't cook over the long term

Rectalcranial inversion,that's your problem. If you don't  want to develop a pot belly,eat well.If your partner can't cook,that increases the chances you will eat less healthy food

i'LL rip yo fore skin off and make a winter coat.

Dont mind all those men that want a woman to be their slaves! You both go to work to make ends meet and sometimes you even get home later than your husband and he sits around waiting for you to come and cook for him! angry
If a woman can't cook, then so be it!! We are all not perfect, they are some women that can cook, but can't clean the house, so what do you do then? and who says the way to a man's heart is through his stomach? Then you never meet better man!
What a contradiction.Firstly,she says this:
You both go to work to make ends meet and sometimes you even get home later than your husband and he sits around waiting for you to come and cook for him! angry
Then this:
If a woman can't cook, then so be it!!
Hang on,if they both go to work and should alternate the  cooking as a result,how come you excuse women who can't cook.In that circumstance,only the man who can cook will be doing the cooking despite the fact that both are tired from work .

You can hyperventillate all you want,the fact is  men will be disappointed if their wife can't cook.Not their girlfriend but their wife

Even Wenger is reluctant to make a long term committment to the Premiership's version of the "Titanic"
-http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8652_2177407,00.html

Manager Arsene Wenger has stressed he will be at Arsenal next season but he stopped short of committing his long-term future to the club.

After the turmoil of the departure of vice-chairman David Dein in April after disagreements over a potential takeover, a disappointing fourth-placed finish and continuing transfer rumours about captain Thierry Henry, Wenger has given the Gunners some good news.

"I have a contract for one more year here and I will complete that contract," he told the News of the World.

"I have never broken a contract in my entire career and I will not break a contract now. So I can tell you categorically that I will be at the club next season.

"And next summer I will sit down with the board and see."

Wenger knows he needs to strengthen his squad after injuries - most notably to talisman Henry - resulting in a frustrating last few months of the season.

However, he will not be rushing into the transfer market at any price.

"There's absolutely no need to panic. We finished fourth in the table - level on points with Liverpool - and we have a very young side which, I believe, can improve again this season," he added.

"We will bring in new people only if they are exceptional players."

@I-man/4Play,

Stop beating around the bus, ok respond to the comments by oboatioko and Mckren for a change as they are even being mild in their posts which people like you that believe everything in Nigeria is bad don't deserve.
You made an absurd point,I took you to task on it .That I believe that the recent elections were a farce does not mean I view "everything in Nigeria as bad".Spare me the drivel. We are discussing the recent elections and my view is that it was a charade.You, on the other hand are engaging in a bizarre attempt at denial by drawing utterly ludicrous parrallels.

Stop excusing the farcical elections conducted in Nigeria by drawing absurd parrallels with the US.

@I-man/4Play,
My mistake, I meant 2000 afterall Bush did not stand for any election in 2006 so I wonder why the typo was not seen as one.
The year 2000. Now that the year has been corrected can you now comment on it or is it only to dwell on non issues that you enjoy doing?
In 2000,the Republicans lost seats to the Democrats as well.Dwelling on non-issues?if someone is blithering . .I will tell him so.If you think that the elections conducted in Nigeria are just as good as the 2000 US elections,then your judgement is questionable.

Since you are based in the US, can you state why the US accepted the fraud that brought in George Bush in 2006 or is it only when the issue concerns Nigeria that your wisdom comes into play?
In 2006,the Republicans lost Congress. . . so much for your "fraud" .Its an insult to our intelligence to seek to draw paralells between irregularities in US elections and what we have witnessed in Nigeria.You make a mockery of yourself.
