@cougar & nazzyon How did Manucho play? I didn't get to see him in the ACN. I don't think he has gotten his work permit though,if they can fasttrack it,we need him badly. He can't be worse than Dong Fanghzhou ![]() |
@Loyika You are so easy to get riled up! @Presido1 carry on my fellow Mancunian.Gayners deserve no mercy Why Jackal no want admit his "Cougar" nom de guerre? Its like a phocking ostrich,we can see the miscreant but he thinks burying his head(in this case, denying his real ID) shields him Anyway, maybe there is a "cunning plan" behind all this.Talking of multiple IDs,Kitaun still dey masquerade as Razzorr, bloody transvestite!!!!! One day, your evil deeds will be exposed! |
@Jackal You don become Chelski supporter? ![]() I only wanted them to win if Arsenal made it to the Final. Now that Arsenal are not going,I was hoping Everton make it instead.I want Spurs to win something this season. . . . . .it will be particularly sweet if the long running hit series(The Trophylessness of Ganyers) made it into season 3. Imagine that,Spurs win something and Gooners don't. With Chelski in the Final,it will be harder for Spurs. |
Never underestimate the extent of McCain hatred out there amongst Republicans The issue was discussed here-McCain Derangement Syndrome.Operation Stop McCain has just began-http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/01/who_will_stop_mccain.html The man is a nuisance!! I was hoping those rumors few years ago that he will be joining the Democrats were true.He probably doesn't need to join the Democrats,he is already a Democrat masquerading as a Republican, kind of like a Manchurian candidate ![]() |
How to stop your husband/wife cheating on you. How to stop your wife having an affair 1 Arrange surprises for her. 2 Treat her as a mistress rather than as a mother or a wife. 3 Be romantic, take her out on dates, let her feel that she's a woman and desirable. 4 Buy her a negligée rather than a vacuum cleaner as a birthday or Christmas present. 5 Constantly show her that you find her attractive, interesting, exciting and romantic. 6 Don't go to bed with your T-shirt tucked into your Y-fronts. 7 Don't turn on the television as soon as you come home. 8 Listen to her. 9 Take her seriously. 10 Respect what she does in the home and in her job. How to stop your husband having an affair 1 Be sexual and adventurous, even if you are tired. 2 Let him feel that he's sexually exciting, and more than just an equity lawyer or headmaster. 3 Let him know that you fancy him. 4 Let him know you feel you're lucky to have him. 5 Keep polishing his ego. 6 Don't go to bed with a layer of moisturiser on your face. 7 Don't dye your hair or shave your legs in front of him. 8 Don't lose your own self-respect. 9 Be interested in his life, but don't live only through him. 10 Don't talk about the children in bed. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/portal/main.jhtml;jsessionid=HFF3GEAM1RKMJQFIQMFSFF4AVCBQ0IV0?xml=/portal/2008/01/23/ftinfidelity123.xml |
For those who are desperately clutching on to the delegates issue in support of Obama.Clinton leads Obama in that count by 236 to 152-http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/democratic_delegate_count.html Even if Edwards delegates all go for Obama,Clinton still leads. |
Hillary Clinton will undoubtedly lose the South Carolina primary as African-Americans line up to vote for Barack Obama. And that defeat will power her drive to the nomination. The Clintons are encouraging the national media to disregard the whites who vote in South Carolina's Democratic primary and focus on the black turnout, which is expected to be quite large. They have transformed South Carolina into Washington, D.C. -- an all-black primary that tells us how the African-American vote is going to go. By saying he will go door to door in black neighborhoods in South Carolina matching his civil rights record against Obama's, Bill Clinton emphasizes the pivotal role the black vote will play in the contest. And by openly matching his record on race with that of the black candidate, he invites more and more scrutiny focused on the race issue. Of course, Clinton is going to lose that battle. Blacks in Nevada overwhelmingly backed Obama and will obviously do so again in South Carolina, no matter how loudly former President Clinton protests. So why is he making such a fuss over a contest he knows he's going to lose? Precisely because he is going to lose it. If Hillary loses South Carolina and the defeat serves to demonstrate Obama's ability to attract a bloc vote among black Democrats, the message will go out loud and clear to white voters that this is a racial fight. It's one thing for polls to show, as they now do, that Obama beats Hillary among African-Americans by better than 4-to-1 and Hillary carries whites by almost 2-to-1. But most people don't read the fine print on the polls. But if blacks deliver South Carolina to Obama, everybody will know that they are bloc-voting. That will trigger a massive white backlash against Obama and will drive white voters to Hillary Clinton. Obama has done everything he possibly could to keep race out of this election. And the Clintons attracted national scorn when they tried to bring it back in by attempting to minimize the role Martin Luther King Jr. played in the civil rights movement. But here they have a way of appearing to seek the black vote, losing it, and getting their white backlash, all without any fingerprints showing. The more President Clinton begs black voters to back his wife, and the more they spurn her, the more the election becomes about race -- and Obama ultimately loses. Because they have such plans for South Carolina, the Clintons were desperate to win in Nevada. They dared not lose two primaries in a row leading up to Florida. But now they can lose South Carolina with impunity, having won in Nevada. But don't look for them to walk away from South Carolina. Their love needs to appear to have been unrequited by the black community for their rejection to seem so unfair that it triggers a white backlash. In this kind of ricochet politics, you have to lose openly and publicly in order to win the next round. And since the next round consists of all the important and big states, polarizing the contest into whites versus blacks will work just fine for Hillary. Of course, this begs the question of how she will be able to attract blacks after beating Obama. Here the South Carolina strategy also serves its purpose. If she loses blacks and wins whites by attacking Obama, it will look dirty and underhanded to blacks. She'll develop a real problem in the minority community. But if she is seen as being rejected by minority voters in favor of Obama after going hat in hand to them and trying to out-civil rights Obama, blacks will even likely feel guilty about rejecting Hillary and will be more than willing to support her in the general election. @Loyika I am still waiting to see the effects of Thompson's withdrawal.Where will his supporters go? I have a feeling a sizable chunk of it will go to Romney. McCain however has gained a momentum that is frightening but I still hope New York retirees in Florida will give Rudy the necessary votes to claim victory.Rasmussen(quite reliable) put Rudy 6 points behind McCain. The best news though. . . . .Huckabee's candidacy seems on life support ![]() |
@Loyika About Mama Ronaldo's comments, she said something you folks overlooked;"They are my favourite team, the best in the world. I would not like to die without seeing my son playing there. If he moved to Madrid I would go and live with him there. I love that city." Did you see that? "If he moved to Madrid I would go and live with him there" If your mother threatens to come live with you, that is as good an incentive to do what will make her not live with you,not moving to Madrid. Knowing Ronaldo's penchant for "entertaining" ladies in his house, the last thing he wants is mum casting a shadow over his activities.I was actually happy when she added that caveat. Seriously, one other important point was missed.Ronaldo's mum also said she doesn't expect her son to move anytime soon.Nobody thinks Ronaldo is a Man Utd lifer,if he moves to Real in a 3 or 4 years time, nothing wrong with that.Man Utd has seen many great players in its time and the eventual transfer of Ronaldo won't alter that reality. PS:If Ronaldo isn't such a great player, why are Gayners getting wet over his mum's comments? ![]() |
This defeat won't make a difference to Arsenal's league aspirations.Had it been in the League that they lost,it would have been cataclysmic. I simply can't see how this affects them either way. The only problem is that the defeat exposes a deeper malaise-Gunners form has been wayward since November. |
@Debosky a.k.a Losing is good Always look on the brightside of a 5-1 loss ![]() |

I think the idea that the rest of the world is largely immune to the fallouts of the US slowdown is gradually being put to rest. For those who think escaping from the US will shield them,a prolonged US slowdown will hit the developing world terribly. Which country is Nigeria's largest trading partner and source of foreign revenue? The United States . |
Nigeria is fully in contention for 3rd place playoffs in the group .I don't know why Nigeria are dissapointed |
By simply being "black" or by working his butts off and letting the establishment know that is bankable?
Working his butts off? Does he work harder than John Edwards, Dennis Kucinich or Bill Richardson ? What does working his butt off entail?Covering more states in campaigning, giving more speeches, producing more detailed policy positions? Working his butt off is a superficial claim that has no meaning. In the Senate,he has one of the highest absentee rates in the entire Senate;never mind compared to Clinton,Biden and Edwards. As a State senator,he had a penchant for voting "present" instead of voting "yes" or "no" when he could be bothered to turn up. He started campaigning for President within months of assuming his role as a US Senator so Obama hasn't excatly been working his butts off compared to Edwards or Biden. You may be right, but like I said earlier than in itself can not translate to a "fawning" media coverage!Which other candidate gets featured on the cover of Newsweek with an article that hardly contains a word of criticism ? Which other candidate have you seen a journalist admitting he finds it hard to stay objective with regards to that candidate? |
Kanu has no business in that starting lineup. The game is so boring,I'm not even eager to see the 2nd half. |
Its like a phocking ostrich,we can see the miscreant but he thinks burying his head(in this case, denying his real ID) shields him
