Righteousness2:The Israel of God today is not the State of Israel. They do not and would not enjoy divine protection as they did under the old covenant of Moses. The Israel of God is the nation of spiritual Israel not of fleshly Jews. They are from every tribe, tongue and nation. Cornelius was the first of many non- Jews to enter into this covenant. God has no business with today’s State of Israel. His covenant with the People of Israel has since been closed especially since they as nation reject Christ. However, the Senator is correct. This man thought he was God ordained to solve Benue State’s problems and bring development to the state but has proven to be the worst governor of that state. Simply means that being a self acclaimed godly person or a clergyman doesn’t mean you can repair a world condemned by God and controlled by Satan. Trying to repair the world politically and socially would simply be working against the arrangements of God who has set a Kingdom to fix the world and has anointed a king for that purpose- Christ Jesus. The clergyman governor is just wasting his time and now loosing his respect if he had any. |

The girl’s account of why her certificate was withheld is more believable and accurate than this petty lie from NYSC. There’s certainly no way they would let her go without some punishment. There’s freedom of speech in Nigeria, but freedom after speech is not guaranteed. Now that have said it extra 2 months they are giving her, she should just leave her certificate with them for 6-12months before going to collect it. Maybe then NYSC would feel satisfied enough to release it to her. 95 Likes |

However investigation into this incident should go beyond the pilots action, what communications happened between the pilot and tower? Who marshalled the pilot? Or did this pilot take order from the company MD? Questions like these must be asked and the findings made public. |

The airport security is a disgrace. Someone that should have been placed under arrest, cuffed and taken away to cool off in a detention facility. I agree with the minister, both parties were wrong and should be sanctioned. The pilot however failed in her professional conduct and chose to endanger the life of many over the folly of an arrogant man. |

Pilots should have received very clear command from control before they taxiing down the runway no matter the delay and provocation. His life is more important than the time lost which can even be recovered to an extent or compensated for in cash. It’s true he got out of her cockpit view but the captain has a duty of care to ensure no one is endangered by her aircraft at all times. Having to make me run and duck away to avoid a hit from her aircraft was reckless and disappointing for a captain. She should have as a mandatory safety protocol waited and received clearance from ground staff and control tower before leaving. Infact it’s the duty of the captain to ensure the unruly passenger is restrained and removed from the airport before continuing. Under normal circumstances, this pilot should even have refused to continue the flight, because she was no longer in right mindset to manage the flight and aircraft. Her excuse is unfortunately unacceptable. She needs to take a back seat and get help, before she can fly again. |
