The present government of Nigeria is in Morbid fear of its citizens. The government is working round the clock to either beg, bribe or intimidate the citizens. Tinubu I desperately throwing in all his cards to try to either persuade the citizens to cower in fear or accept his sugar coated last minute offers. If he fails to stop the planned protest and if the protest gain the feared traction, Tinubu’s desperation might lead to a mishandling that will resemble the bloodbath of Bangladeshi. 2 Likes |

Letter writers. They didn’t form association and write when he was sitting behind transistor radios and Facebook to order the killings of both armed and unarmed persons. When he was insulting, abusing and degenerating anyone not buying into his nightmares of being Supreme Leader of a fantasy Biafrian State. Any President that wants to multiply his headache will be the person to release Kanu. Kanu can’t imagine freedom without the worship he gets from his cult followers. It was a simple visit to him, to get his approval to on a soft drink company campaign at his church car park area during a Sunday service. He simply went ballistic, accusing me of trying to make his congregation spend monies they should give in offering to him on soft drinks. My attempt to make him see reason and reconsider almost lead him to ask his aids to go bring his pump action. Well, we still used the small petrol station beside the church entrance for our activity and see we were not on his church property he and his boys couldn’t do much, his announcement to the parishioners not to buy the Malt drinks had the opposite effect. |

laudate:Houses are way more expensive here than in Nigeria, no comparison. Even so, it’s a lot easier to buy a house here. Let’s say you are buying a £220k flat here, you will go into a 20 or 30 years mortgage on the property which you normally source through a bank or building society by make a down payment of say £10k and spreading the remaining through the mortgage plus bank interest. You can also sell this house before the end of your mortgage and buy another one. This kind of system you be adopted in Nigeria 1 Like |

You can legally get a licenced pump action gun issued by the commissioner of police himself the protocol is lengthy and excruciating. But here's an advice: don't do it even if you have the millions of Naira to spare. This is because, it won't be a secret that you own a gun, and you are more likely to be attacked if you own a gun than when you don't, because criminals would come for your gun, they need it for money making operations. Funny monks. People should bring water samples from their homes to you, like seriously? They have accommodation for the millions of household in Lagos? So what happens to deployment of paid workers to sample water in homes in every LGA of the state and determine the safety of water consumed? I have only spent 2years here in the abroad but have had my water sampled and tested in my presence at home. With indepth explanation to why the water is safe for consumption and the testers drinking from it. But in Nigeria residents should bring their water to them. Very unserious country. |

Remman:There's hardly any Nigerian Prison that hasn't got a prisons farm just so you know. Inmates in Nigeria prisons are always working with hard labour either in a prisons farm or at the Warden farm. Like another person already said, if prisoners build roads for free, millions of job seekers will remain jobless plus politicians and contractors will be the biggest beneficiaries not the masses. My wife was with her last week as part of her work engagement. I usually see her and other ward councillors inspecting ongoing city beautiful projects. Here politicians work not loot. Her husband is a Senator and most likely sponsored the after party they held in the city centre with lots of senators from Nigeria. I do hope as senator he can help his constituents by mirroring the services Leeds city council provide for residents here and not just celebrating the wife. |

Houses are cheap in Nigeria. Thus is less than £80,000 and you can't get a 2 bedroom apartment here with this amount here. But, I no go still buy sha, the fear of demolition is real. |
