Seriously, this humiliation is just too much! Instead of giving him national merit award, some evil people are hell bent on smearing his name. They wont succeed in JESUS name. They wont ni oruko Jesu (Amin)! Insha Allah |
My brother, i'm still trying to get over it. The man (Ribadu) did well and meant well for Nigeria, although i must admit that he was a bit arrogant but i guess that was needed considering the battles he was fighting. I dont know where Nigeria is headed! |
The NEWLY CONSTITUTED Police Service Commission, reverse the former EFCC helmsman promotion from AIG (Assist. Insp. General) back to DCP (Deputy Commissioner of Police) citing irregularities and non-compliance with due process on his appointment. This action is just shameful, i believe Ribadu has done well for Nigeria, I pray this attempt to humiliate the man will fail. Our detractors (the looters) I guess will be smiling now. @houstony3k, very soon your eyes go clear for yankee (it's obvious you just land!) No doubt Nigeria is backward and things aint the way they're suppose to be, but hey things will improve and we're working for a better nigeria. See crusader, you they abroad and you claim to represent the underpriviledge? I dont get it. Most of us have seen both sides on Nigeria, both good and bad (mind some of us have also see the bad sides of yankee and jand first hand! and not based on hearsay). Nigeria go survive, if you dont have any positive thing to say, pls just keep your frustration to yourself. Lovely pictures, i must say |
@Busy_body, Long time! hope you're enjoying the soap opera? @yettidear, Deciding on the course you want is entirely up to you. Both areas (oil and gas; Telecomms) have great potentials in Nigeria but you have to buttress this point when applying. Forget those crap about career path, your reasons for doing a masters in telecomms could be becos you recognise the enormous potential and growth opportunities in the telecomms sector and since your first degree is in a different field, you know doing a masters in telecoms will place you in good position to benefit from the growth in the sector (as simple as abc) and if you decide on Pet. Eng I guess the ECO wont have any qualms with that as well. Best wishes (you still have to make the choice yourself) |
Akolawole:If you accuse me of using multiple ids on nairaland, i'm the least bothered. Afterall people have called me vicjustice before. And i'll always be me. |
Feu:Tosser! |
megastu:Sorry for my earlier comments. This response is much better and just highlights what this forum is all about. Thanks bro, and sorry about my earlier remarks. |
Feu:Unfortunately, this happens to be one of the few times I've my mouth wide open. You started out well by offering some good advice (i thought you was sane then) until you decided to pick on me! Poor you, I really don't have your time and think u just ignore my messages and move on with your sad and boring life. Of course we all see things differently, but denying a person help simply because the person is new aint right. Loser! |
@vvvjustice All the lady requires is help, she is lost as to how to present her case and that's why (i guess) she's here. Balance of probability or not, how can she improve on her chances, simple and short. Just feel her pain of being separated from her spouse. A more civil answer/response will suffice. I really wish I could be of help to the poster, my advice to those people that dont know s.hit from Shinola, pls keep quite! |
megastu:@poster, THANKS, BUT NO THANKS! wonder who appointed you their solicitor and advocate. So what if the people dont have anything to contribute in other sections? It's a pity, just because you want to curry favour doesnt mean you should be blind to the truth. Mind you, i also respect his (or their decision) but I still maintain my stand that the response to tolapo, just because she's new aint fair at all. See you, begging for a reply to your mail!!!! Mister man MYOB! |
Akolawole:To members of the group: Your reason(s) whatever they are, is okay by me and I sincerely respect it. So you acknowledge that there is a fraternity or group on this thead? I like the law of nature and mind you, nature abhors a vacuum! There's no need for a parallel forum as other knowledgeable people will spring up to help and guide people without thinking that they are indispensable! Remember that pride goes before a fall. HAVE A GOOD DAY! Much love- Incagold + other handles |
ty4real:Wetin be your own? The lady needs help, I guess she wont be asking if any of the threads adequately covers her queries/concern |
Akolawole:Na wa o! This "we" people have started again. My guy if you want to help make you help, whether new or old members! People appreciate and respect you enough to direct their queries to you. Though you have your reasons sha (i respect that) but your reply is kinda harsh. |
hmmm, i can give u my bank statement if u want. |
@ vikiviko, Fake this, fake that. vikiviko:No doubt the BHC will continue treating Nigerians like rogues. Imagine! I'll suggest she gets a FAKE NYSC CERTIFICATE as well. To complement everything. |
Nothing personal against arik airline, but i would rather fly with any tried and tested airline. No offence |
yea right, old man indeed! Was only kidding, lemme cross check with my dad, but i think i was in kindergarten (KG 3) school then. Not sure. |
duksyjay: , finished mine since 1985, Harvard class of '85!Just kidding |
Was anyone fighting in the first instance? ![]() Anyways, i hope everyone is clear now. Cheers |
@ poster, didnt realise u're a pastor. Anyways, it's always a pleasure to help. All the best with your application. |
I guess saying "in your lifetime" presumes the person is dead and buried and probably an angel is asking the soul "list all the countries you visited in your lifetime" ![]() Since we're very much alive, i suggest you rephrase your post to read "list of countries you've visited"! |
I thot u already had kids! blimey anyways enjoy ur trip |
Since you're hesitant, just take your time. Holiday with kids is really fun. |
@Gamine, Sounds great, i really love kids! no worries then |
the poster reminds me of Dr. Johnson the scam Manchester United agent that was shown in a BBC programme conning young and innocent Nigerians. No offence, just that you look alike and he's a Dr as well. |
@Gamine, Hope you dont mind if i tag along? I speak some Mandarin and that will help you in China, trust me. |
@erico2k2, Mr Man, I wasnt dismissive rather you sounded like you were 100% sure of what you were talking about! I quote you "Longterm=Longterm full university degree not 1 or 2 years program". Your words mate!!! I dont need to have studied in the UK to know what a short-term or long-term program is. In fact short-term courses are non-degree programs (neither undergrad or post grad program). Capise? |
no system is 100% foolproof. Regardless of technology some number of fraudsters will scale thru. |
@fbajomo, I think your concerns can be answered correctly if ONLY there is a valid RESEARCH to back the answers. My cousin had some little problem in nigeria when he returned as everyone just wanted to "test" or "try" the foreign graduate, excepting him to falter or mess up at the slightest opportunity! Since there's no evidence (statistically) any answer will be inconclusive. But in my opinion no difference, depending on who you are dealing with, i've met people from nigeria universities doing very very well and likewise foreign graduates who know their onion!! Capise |
Gamine:Sorry o! so far sun never shine well for UK this year. If u wanna enjoy ur summer hols, why not try Sokoto, Maiduguri or Zamfara states (all in Nigeria)! There is plenty of sunshine there my dear. ![]() |
long term- courses where the duration is longer than 6months. A masters program falls under the long term classification |
