Chukwuka319: What is this foolish Ibibio man blabbing about? Which mercenaries murdered those soldiers? Where did they come from? The concentration of heroin he sniffed must be so high as to destabilise his thinking and reasoning faculties. The murderers of those soldiers were youths from the community of Okuoma and many there knew exactly who and who participated in the mass murder. The community elders are not exempted. This is quite embarrassing That the military is sending two major and a Connell to go and resolve communal dispute, like are they that jobless? It’s also quite embarrassing that community youth are Capable of killing our military of such caliber |

jesusjnr2020: What Will Happen To Anyone Who Rejects the Words Of Jesus On Judgement Day
John 12:48 (KJV)
And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
The same Words they reject would reject them in the last day.
God bless. Christian will go to Muslim he’ll and Muslim will go to Christian hell |

Which humanity is greater than sending your only son to die for the sins of the whole world? Jesus, the foundation of christianity told us to love our neighbours. Is love not humanity? The question is, how do we verify that a god has a son and his son who is supposed to be a god died for the world for only 3 days, and this thing was claim to have happened in Middle East Israel 2000 years ago. How do we verify is true. |

The OP is obviously on cheap expired Ogogoro to come up with this totally false narrative to distort historical facts. All the local govt mentioned by the poster (except eastern obolo) are Akwa Ibom indigenous local govt and not ijaw. When did Ijaws have so many local govt on ibibio land? Where has Akwa ibom state been said to comprise or Ibibios and Ijaws ? OP is a complete good for nothing Oloshi. This is how falsehood are being spread and historical facts are being distorted and give room for criminals to have reasons to forment trouble. Pls Nairaland moderators should either delete this post or compel poster to edit. Omo this is how they have been oppressing itsekiri in Warri o. They are always grabbing people’s land n claiming it’s theirs, if u fight with them, they will call their brothers from bayelsa to fight with them They have an agenda to take over Niger delta as a whole, that’s why they are fighting with itsekiri in Warri, Yoruba and illaje in ondo, and urhobo in ughelli DSC, even Benin in Edo. They also have a population agenda that’s why u see one ijaw man impregnating many women without taking care of the children. |

DeLaRue: The vast majority of Nigeria's downstream resources are in Lagos, including the mighty Dangote refinery.
A couple of departments directly involved in their regulation can be in Lagos, close to the businesses they're regulating.
The headquarters remain in Abuja.
Perfectly logical. This is not true, how many oil deport are in Lagos compared to delta and ph. These downstream resources u are talking about can operate without moving any Abuja office close to them, I have work in an oil depot, we have dpr office right there with us, we don’t need to relocate the dpr office in Abuja b4 we carry out our operations. There’s refinery in Warri and port harcourt and akwa ibom which are coming up soon, so dangote refinery is not an excuse to move office from Abuja to Lagos. |

ericmor: But the thing is that the price will still be costly despite buying in naira and excuses will still be given. That's just the problem we are facing I don’t care if the price is costly, if he’s selling in naira, it will give the naira some reasonable value which will be good for our economy. If we can fixed our electricity the demand for fuel will reduce drastically, what we need is a good power supply not cheap fuel. |
Politics › Re: Marketers Will Pay Naira For Dangote Fuel, Says IPMAN by Indifferent12: 8:55am On Jan 24, 2024 |
MeineMutter: Are the Nigerian oil marketers that would be buying from Dangote based outside Nigeria? Please justify why they would buy in foreign currencies. Do we spend another currency other than Naira? Do you know what they call Free Trade Zone at all? May be it’s because Lagos’s Free Trade Zone is situated close to the ocean. That’s why you think every trade zone must export or sell in foreign currency.
You better go back to JSS 1 and start schooling again.
So if Kogi State or Plateau state could have free trade zone now with many manufacturing companies there, does it mean that anything produced there has to be sold in foreign currencies? Go and find out the meaning of free trade zone e and the reasons why governments set them up. You are definitely an illiterate, things produce in the free trade zone are mainly produced for export, that’s why govt set up free trade zone. What every currency the company decides to sell their products is up to them, but what u should know is that if anyone set up their factory in a free trade zone, it means their plan is to export such products. Now speaking of dangote, he’s working with crude oil, which is sold in dollars world wide. As a Business man will you buy crude oil in dollars and sell refined products in naira? You should be truthful to yourself. Dangote group is a business organization, not a charity organization. Unless NNPC can provide crude oil for dangote in naira or dangote can some how get crude oil in naira, he has no reason for selling in naira. |

ceejay80s: One question.... My landlord increased my rent cos of all these rubbish....if fuel goes back to 200 per liter , will my rent come down? If no...the the fuel price should remain that price This is not an issue of fuel price, it’s an issue of releasing some pressure from the naira so it can gain significant value. Imagine all the oil marketers stop demanding for dollars today, that would be positive for our economy |
Politics › Re: Marketers Will Pay Naira For Dangote Fuel, Says IPMAN by Indifferent12: 9:30pm On Jan 23, 2024 |
femarse: Until the price is release , everyone should stop speculating,
I am desperately hoping for this to be an advantage but also scared as hell, for once, anything dangote has monopoly over always have an upward price curve, it has never been an advantage to the country whatsoever
secondly, the money for the refinery was burrowed in $$ and was agreed will be repaid in $$ meaning if dangote sell most of it's refined product in ## , how will he pay back the loan in $$?
Meaning he will have to use the naira to purchase the saved dollars govt got from not importing fuel anymore of which dangote will be giving priority since NNPC too has a share in the refinery which also translate to the exceess dollars that should take care of other needs will be mop up by dangote
people will still continue to pile pressure on the black market which makes the price to continue to fly higher Dangote has paid back most of the debt according to cbn but im getting some information that he still owe about $2 billion dollars, that still a huge money. I really want him to sell to Nigeria in naira, but it’s looks bad for his business. I just hope him n NNPC can work things out. But like u said, we can’t know the currency he’s selling in till he releases his price list |
Politics › Re: Marketers Will Pay Naira For Dangote Fuel, Says IPMAN by Indifferent12: 9:26pm On Jan 23, 2024 |
maziengr: Since we sell him the crude in naira, he should also sell the fuel in naira to balance the equation. This is a simple arithmetic but what I know is that, if they can be sincere to themselves, naira will gain a tremendous strength because other nations will be sourcing for it to import fuel to their country. Nigeria will be fine. Kudos to Dangote! Have u confirm if we sell crude to him in niara? The 6 billion barrel that was sold to him by shell, was it sold in naira? I’m asking for confirmation |

Paraman: Nigeria won't need to spend over $10 billion importing refined crude again. It will have a positive effect on the naira on the short, medium and long run I doubt he will sell in naira tho, and besides it’s the crude oil sales we use to make dollars, we will no longer have crude oil sales to make 10 billion dollars because we will be giving the crude oil to dangote to refine. Our crude oil exports will drop drastically and we will no longer make that 10 billion dollars u are talking about |
