Credible presidency sources had earlier informed Daily Independent that the President is desirous of having his deputy, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo succeed him even though he is yet to formally announce his choice. I've read three versions of presidency sources today with each version claiming Buhari has endorsed Amaechi, Tinubu, Osinbajo. Spiritual sources in the villa. Lol...... Tinubu’s loyalists are of the view that President Buhari has the right to choose his preferred aspirant but he should allow a primary where other aspirants can test their popularity. Nobody should be asked to step down against their wish”. Tinubu will defeat the candidate of the president in a free and fair primary. Bring your candidate to the field. Simple! |
These ones are begging Buhari while their sons are endorsing Ahmed lawal. Hahahahahahahaha..... unserious elements! Ibos are poor political animals. Because they can't play the game, they've turned it to hatred against other regions like the South West. Uzor kalu is busy fooling himself everywhere. My joy is that he doesn't have the capacity to cause any impact in the race within the APC. He'll end up losing out as usual. |
DonBenny77:So the boko haram man wan suck our brother? Lol.... Well you may be right because I watched him on channels tv last month and I couldn't see any passion in him concerning Amaechi's candidacy. |
fyneguy:I tried to lecture some people here but hatred has blind folded them. Teslim was the star of today's visit. He said it's 99/99 delegates for Tinubu from the 33lgas of Oyo. Some people go collect wotowoto, that's why they're beginning for consensus. Lol..... As for shina peller, he thinks politics is like club business? He overrated himself. How can you go and face a seasoned politician like senator fatai Buhari? Lol.....he got a bloody nose. |
Ojuntana:Point of correction salihu lukman resigned, he wasn't sacked. Adamu had no choice like I said before. |
Tinubu completely shut down Oyo state today. The love was massive. Even the teslim folarin some people claimed was for Osinbajo openly stated he's 100% standing where Tinubu stands. Walahi the gap Tinubu will give all the other aspirants will be like light and darkness. MikoB how far? |
Lol....by the time ndume realises it's not his candidate it'll become imposition. |
Ojuntana:That'll be the beginning of the end of him. Adamu knows the implications of not having majority of his NWC members with him. And don't think those men that spoke out are for themselves. They're fronting for some governors. |
Reality3080:Honestly the collection of clowns here is worrisome. Too many block heads in here. |
BadRadio:Majority of them are busy making noise on social media. |
Islie:Buhari failed woefully on all fronts. He was elected on the strength that he'll fight corruption but the massive theft in this regime is unprecedented in the history of Nigeria democracy. |
Buckeyemedia1:You're too myopic to understand that newspapers are not just in hard copies alone. |
Ojuntana:Adamu had no option than heed the voice of warning before a vote of no confidence is passed on him by majority of the members of the NWC. I would rather give the credit to salihu lukman and kekemeke for standing firm. |

Newspapers have made more money than delegates this season. |
dre11:Elrufai will be beaten blue and green and black. That fanatic will be worse than Buhari. The Apc doesn't have any northerner in the class of Buhari, kwankwaso and Atiku. If they like let the reopen sales of forms till next year. Power must return to south. |
Ojuntana:I would rather give it to the brave NWC members that called him out. He had no choice. The momentum was already gathering against him in the NWC. Kudos to kekemeke and salihu |
ganisucks: The Cross River governor described Mr Tinubu as a trans-generational leader, political strategist and that he had the capacity, experience and exposure to lead the country and said history would be kind to Tinubu as the man who propelled the APC to power in 2015, stressing that he is a cornerstone of the party’s success over the years. Only Tinubu can be so discribed amongst all the aspirants in the APC. The statement said Mr Tinubu was accompanied on the visit by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, ex-Governors Tanko Al-Makura, and Kashim Shettima. Others were Senate Leader Victor Ndoma-Egba, presidential aide Yau Darazo, and TETFUND chair Kashim Ibrahim-Imam. Just look at the quality of men in Tinubu's entourage. Jagaban is unmatchable. |
ArewaNorth: Sources at the meeting said the president left the attendees in the dark regarding who his preferred choice was, creating confusion among the ranks of governors and other chieftains of the party. The ruling party’s major dilemma, according to insiders, was how to navigate the tight rope of tabling an acceptable candidate without having an implosion within its ranks But a chieftain of the APC close to a former Lagos State Governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, said they were hopeful of the Buhari’s endorsement as they were assured by persons close to the president. At least two persons close to the president are known to be rooting for Tinubu. They are Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu and Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties, Alhaji Yau Darazo. Darazo had participated in Tinubu’s campaign trips to some states including the last trip to Cross River on Wednesday. Tinubu is also believed to have the majority of the APC governors on his side Tinubu is obviously ahead of them all. |
Atiku will be worse than Buhari in many ways. |
Edo delegates lists
|
Here we go with Delta and Edo States delegates lists.
|
I love them because they don't insult anyone, they're focus on supporting their choice. Why not learn from them by also supporting yours without being pained.? |
President Tinubu |
This is what we're talking about. If you know you know. |
Risentouch:Is Benin republic not better than Nigeria? |
Miracle2020:Tinubu sponsoring odua republic is nothing but a baseless speculation. Buhari can force his candidate and face the consequences. The party will go into the election divided and you know what that means against an Atiku. Buhari can have his way but he needs to do it in such a way that he doesn't destroy the party. |
Saintinoo:Fuvck off my mention ASAP |
It seems there's a trophy for being foolish on nairaland. |
Saintinoo:Who be dis uncircumcised philistine? Don't ever come near my mention in your life. I distaste it when neonates come to my mention. Locate your colleagues please. |

Hahahahahahahaha.......where were they when Asiwaju was coordinating delegates for Buhari to ensure he was the Apc flag bearer in 2015? |
