oga get your facts right . thermostat disconnects the engine from the radiator until it reaches to the sufficient operating temperature. Then afterwards the thermostat adjusts flow of coolant to the radiator.

The engine was never with the radiator. The coolant only flows through the radiator to get cooled. The thermostat doesn't allow the coolant to flow through the radiator until it gets to a certain temperature. Just the same way the thermostat in your pressing iron keeps the iron at a certain temperature allowing it to keep going on and off.
I was referring to your stuff about reversing the polarity of the fan in cold region. Thats absolute balderdash and that should have been enough reason not to reply you. A working engine achieves same temperature wether in cold or hot region.....the time to achieve that temperature is probably what will vary. Maybe you should read more about all this.
And yes ....removing your thermostat makes the engine run at a much lower temperature than it should normally run making the engine oil to lubricate it less cos its not at its optimal lubricating temperature making for more engine wear. It eventually tells on the engine ....

P3400, P3497 - VCM/Oil pressure sensor - Rear and Front respectively, change both. Meanwhile, ensure your engine oil is not short and right viscosity.

Thanks much but they've already replaced the two and I changed the oil too Don't know what else to do

not the same replica of the engine cos I saw a socket that had nothing to go inside of it on the new engine. Is there any other way around it or what?

Good evening. Use a 2008 Honda Accord V6 coupe which I recently had the engine and gear changed.
Gear switches perfectly but noticed the engines idles roughly in the morning for about 4 minutes after which it starts working well once I switch it off and on again. Car has been acting like this for about a week and works well during the day with occasional loss of power. It was scanned and the code given was P3400 and P3497 and also P0443 occasionally.
The engine oil has been changed and the oil pressure sensor has also been changed but car still idles roughly every morning which the old engine never does.
I will appreciate any help from the house please...

I would assume he bought the car as a tokunbo vehicle , if the car was previously used in a place like Nunavut Canada that is a very cold region it is normal for the polarity of the fan to be blowing reverse so the heat is retained in the engine bay to put the engine at normal temperature cause engine working under the required temperature is at a lot of disadvantage ,you won't compare with a car that was previously used at Victoria British Columbia where the temperature is normal the polarity of the fan will be set to blow outwards to reduce the heat in the engine bay .So for a hot country like naija it is advisable to put the polarity to blow outwards and permanent the fans so the heat in the engine bay is reduce totally , my own two cents ,I have tried it and it has worked for me not once not twice

If you actually understand the cooling system of a car.....you'd not say this. The engine is meant to operate at a constant temperature irrespective of honor cold region....that's why you have a thermostat....and that's why the coolant doesn't get cooled until a certain temperature and the fan doesn't come on until and certain temperature. And that fan keeps going on and off.
Half the cars with overheating have damaged thermostat that should be replaced but gets yanked out.
And yes...removing the thermostat does damage the engine.....not immediately but overtime. The reason for the range of temperature being maintained at a certain temperature is not just for the engine alone but because the engine oil lubricates best at a certain temperature ...removing your thermostat makes the engine super cool which means less than sterling lubrication which damages the engine. You might not feel the effect that month or year but it surely tells. These stuff are online if you actually want to read them. Yoy should know better than your Kazeem all the time

I use a 2016 MacBook Pro. Updated it got the latest firmware 2 days ago overnight and noticed that the battery bar indicated that it was charging while it wasn't plugged in and the battery bar was dropping quite fast. I plugged it in and it was charging but would still show that charging might even with the charger removed.
I shut the lid hoping to restart it this morning and it's not coming on at all. I've plugged it and replugged...pressed shift + control + options + power button for 10 secs released it and press power key and nothing is coming on.
Please any help will be appreciated.

i hate that I can't customize it plus that i have to pay for way too many things. I use an ipad btw and I think the new "ipad os" is fantastic. it's finally moving the ipad to a point where we can call it a laptop replacement at least with productivity. I just don't dig iPhones and ios on a phone

Only thing I pay for is Apple Music and there's a workaround for that. Customization is the price you have to pay for iOS but aside that.....can't use android again.

I have a problem with point 5. Most vehicle makes usually advice you drive at moderate speed in the morning immediately you start you car. It’s written in my Toyota Camry, Honda Accord and BMW car manual.
It helps because most wears on engine usually happen when you do a cold start in the morning as it takes a while for the engine oil to get to the.optimum temperature(important in cars with the thermostat still intact though).
Leaving it to run ‘for some few minutes’ before driving it increases the time frame for the engine to get to the optimum temperature required for the engine oil to achieve full lubrication thereby increasing engine wear. A better advice is to drive immediately at moderate speed so as to increase engine temperature faster.
