Try using oils like jojoba oil or olive oil and body butter instead of lotions and creams. I used body oil on my skin. I rarely use lotion.

[quote author=shakerz_1 link=topic=475981.msg6354791#msg6354791 date=1278643634]hey how Y'all doing, I just want 2 ask Y'all if it's normal 2 beat your little bro or sister some times, I'm very temperaturefull person, and i quickly get angry if someone did omething 2 me, i have a cute 14 years little bro, he's nice, but he doesn't respect me sometimes, if he argues or says words back 2 me, i got mad and start beating him, it really gets on me, and i feel unconfortable about it, i don't wanna hit him, i regrat everytime i did, you know, he's born and grown up in here, and we all know how kids like him think, he might think that i hate him, whcih I'm not, i  really love him, and don't wanna hit him, so what am trying 2 do is, what should i do 2 handle my temperature, and show him my love?[/quote]Talk to him and let him know how you feel. I get the same way too with my brother who's also 14 yrs old. I used to hit him as well but I stopped. He's grown quite a bit. When I used to hit him, he was smaller than me. I'm 5'9 ½ and now he's almost 6'1". The only thing I can actually do is pin him on the ground if we get into a fight or lock my arms around him and prevent him from moving. Aside from that, there's nothing I can do. Now I just end up saying mean things to him when I get mad at him. I try talking to him but the boy is just so damn hard headed angry

yeah, u are ryt but things are different here in Nigeria. And where i stay(d eastern part) its even worse. U'v got 2 have some flesh before u can be seen as good looking. To folks here, skinny means hungry and unhealthy!
I'm tall also at about 5ft 8.5".
If i were in a city like urs, i'll prolly be very comfortable with my body :-(
You know, I remember telling someone here in NY not too long ago that in western society, my body would be considered beautiful but in Nigeria that I'd be "ugly" [not exactly the word I was looking for but I think get what I'm trying to say]. Even my own family picks on me about my weight. Its not like its my fault. I can't gain weight to save my life grin. But I don't care. I think I look hot. I can fit into clothes and can wear just about anything. One thing that does bother me though is when I'm with my guy [he's not officially my boyfriend yet], he's Ghanaian and sometimes I get the feeling that he wants to be with a "thicker" girl. Anyway, I still love my skinny body no matter what. And you should feel comfortable about your body no matter what size it is.
Oh and I noticed, what is considered skinny in Nigeria, isn't skinny in western society [just an observation] wink
Romance › Re: Nairaland Gurls Are At War Against Us Men! by InkedNerd(f): 11:50am On Jul 08, 2010
I think the problem is amongst yourselves. You all just have bad coordination when it comes to things like this. This "war" [lol], is between you men NOT the women. Hmmm, maybe this will give you all a chance to get yourselves together. Hats off to the original poster grin

I'm real skinny oh, and in naija smhow u just look odd. Can't even wear some type of clothes i luv like sleevless, tiny straps or tube!
Why not? Those clothes were designed for girls like you. I'm tall and skinny and I LOVE it, people here in NY assume your some sort of model when they see a tall skinny girl grin. My sister goes to a fashion design school here in NY and all the black and hispanic girls are all going crazy trying trying to be skinny [just for the sake of fashion undecided].
Romance › Re: Relationship With Your Scammer by InkedNerd(f): 11:05pm On Jul 07, 2010
Well since you want him so bad, follow your heart but keep an eye on your wallet [and any other valuables]. Personally, I wouldn't do it.
Romance › Re: Relationship With Your Scammer by InkedNerd(f): 10:25pm On Jul 07, 2010
Don't do it. What's to stop him from doing it again? If he scammed you once, what makes you think he won't do it again?

@ OP

I don't even understand why you're asking what do you do. You know what you should/shouldn't do. Do you really need a bunch of people to say "don't do it" just so you would know what not to do? I'm going to assume you and your cousin are grown/young adults and I'm sure you both have enough sense to know that this would do to both your families.

What's your problem? You started it. Its not like I was addressing you to begin with. How about you do me a favor and keep your mouth shut.

Could it be one of her friends pulling a prank on her? Because if its not then, then its not funny. Sounds a bit scary. Especially since you said he knows her well.

I wasn't trying to justify anything. And if you weren't being judgmental then why did you say "And after getting it, what happens? you get a reward from Obama or what?" I don't know about you, but to me it came across as a sarcastic question.

honeric01:
And after getting it, what happens? you get a reward from Obama or what?

I don't really get it, are there no other places you could have it pierced? why that delicate area? have you thought of childbirth? or any other thing that might make that piercing an issue?
honeric01:
Since you are obviously here to challenge and talk down any one who does not agree with you, i think i should pass.

BTW, how am i judgmental? all i wrote were questions, where did i conclude? and how did you arrive at me being judgmental? you need to educate yourself before you pick or use words.
I wasn't trying to talk down to anyone. I'm not saying you have to agree with it. And if you weren't being judgmental then why did you ask if there no other area I could have pierced? A piercing is a piercing. Whether its on my head or on my foot doesn't change the fact that it is a piercing. It just seems like people are quick to assume that if you have a piercing like that then are automatically some sort of nympho.

Nothing has to happen. Stop being so judgmental and educate yourself. Like i said previously its not different from any other piercing. If you knew anything, then you'd know that it wouldn't interfere with childbirth as long as you remove it before you give birth.

Sometimes I feel annoyed. Not too long ago a good looking Honduran guy asked me out and has been pestering ever since. Its gotten to the point where he acts as though I'm his gf and I should report to him @_@ Its a good thing I set him straight.

hmmm, ok o. I remember the pain and the time it took me to get the nerves for the second piercing on my ear. Cant even dream about having one south there.
Well, the thing about that kind of piercing is that it heals the quickest out of other kinds of piercings. It only takes about 2-4 weeks. After that you kinda forget that its there. The pain isn't like the pain you would feel on your ear, lip, nipple, etc. Since "down south" is naturally designed to heal quickly, the healing process is minimal.

Ouch, must really hurt, can't stand pain and besides it doesn't appeal to me, i think its on the weird side. But it feels makes u happy; cool.
Honestly, it just feels like someone pinched you for about 30 seconds after that you don't feel a thing.

that upon getting one's focal area pierced or tatooed, there may be a tendency to flaunt it in public
And how did you come to this conclusion? Stop assuming things.

CyberG:
If you are married, ask your hubby's opinion.

If you are not, have no fiance, or serious boyfriend who you will marry, then be ready for a slutty life where every guy will just hammer the damn thing and move on! Guys and girls see things differently and you can be more than 50% certain to become the vuck toy of many a phallus!
How ignorant can you be? Who says that this makes a person slutty. I know lots of girls who have that sort of piercing and are virgins. Stop being so ignorant.

Go ask your girlfirend or your sister or even your mama.
This is a dumb question, really really lame.
How is that a stupid question? For all you people who say that not wearing a bra makes your bosoms sag, you're all sorely mistaken. There are NO studies proving that they prevent bosoms FROM sagging. Its almost impossible to prevent them from sagging. I know of only one person in this world who's bosoms stay up [naturally] whether or not she wears a bra.
