Travel / Re: Nigeria Agent Deceiving Nigerians On Qatar Visa by Inspirer1: 3:07pm On Apr 26
duncan511:

Currently there is limited Jobs, the fews that have jobs are been owned more than three months. Some Nigerians might ask you to come because of what they will gain in processing your Visa, unless you have a lot of money to spend for rent and waiting patiently until you get a jobs, if you don't have the money to do resident permit and to be paying for bedspace which is very expensive for the period of months you will stay without work, don't come here. Many Nigerians and other Africans are been deported. If you must travel here have enough money not for visa but for paying for bed space and resident permit card. Better you go Europe or American. Unless you have enough money to spend
Okay, thank you so much

Most Nigerians in Qatar don't have a job, because there is limited jobs opportunities for immigrants due to the population and other factors, which makes many employer to pay less, But many Nigeria Agent will deceive Nigerians to come to Qatar that there is jobs opportunities, moreover the visa is cheap but agent will collect millions of naira from Nigerians to do visa for them, a Visa that is not up to a million naira but Nigerians will spend overs millions of Naira, and still come here and spend more for resident Permit and accommodation. Nigeria Agent are not helping Nigerians at all, many Nigerians are suffering, homeless, jobless, we know grace is different but we must help ourselves to know the truths, let the agent tell Nigerians the truth about the current situation here before processing Visa for the person, some agent will even process visiting visa instead of working Visa, Nigerians that comes with working Visa have not gotten jobs, you are bringing person that is looking for jobs with visiting visa, just bringing the person to suffer or been deported. Qatar is a good and peace lovely county, accommodation is very expensive but food is relatively cheap but Nigeria Agent deceiving Nigerians that is jobs, scamming them millions of naira for visa. With the hope when dey comes, the company will give them jobs, accommodation and food, but when dey get here they get stranded. I will write in detail about Nigerians going through in Qatar.
I have someone who's an experienced Mason, he asked me few moments ago about traveling out to work as a Mason (note:he doesn't have a degree) but he is very good at what he does. We talked about Qatar hence why I came to nairaland to search for info.
What would you recommend? It can be any other country though.
Thanks

This will be a very close contest.
..

Agboola is not a push over.

Even aketi couldn't impeach him
I doubt it.
The fact that the incumbent will not go for another term if he wins this will play a very crucial role in him retaining the seat.
There is a high tendency that the Southern and Northern political elites of the opposition party will either secretly mobilize for the incumbent or just do a "siting on the fence'.
I see a landslide victory for the incumbent.

Enugurangers:
Easily sailing for the incumbent then.
Correct, no doubts.

That is one is different brother and understandable but most of them can type (the spelling doesn't matter self).

The issue is that initially they might be typing oh, then boom out of no where the person would drop a VN; now that's a communication problem, it changes the dynamic of the interaction entirely.

You don't know the nature of my surrounding if I could easily listen to it and reply you (sometimes I would try and make an effort to listen to it anyway and reply but even after trying multiple time I would just give up from the frog voice).

Smiles......... But the 6-3-3-4 educational system is no more applicable in most parts of Nigeria. Even JAMB saw this and fixed 16 years as minimum age to write JAMB.

16 years is rational, times have changed. Review the 6-3-3-4 system to the reality on Ground..... 5-2-3-4 system or 5-3-2-4 system and draw up a curriculum that can embrace this new change.

Many Jobs interview fix max age at 25years. If you enter some 9ja uni at 18 years for a 5 years course na 6 years you go spend and that takes you to 24 years.... Add NYSC and you are 25/26 years.......Not Eligible to apply for some juicy jobs.

Leave it at 16 years, many will gain admission at 17/18 years normally..... In case Dem write JAMB 2/3 times.
As in ehn, most times they dont consider things holistically, factoring all that you raised won't make that 18 years sensible. Not all will pass their waec/neco exams at once, not all will pass their jamb exams, not all will gain admission immediately after school, there may be delays due to strike or other stuffs in the universities, yet there will be age restrictions when looking for jobs,,,,they need to reconsider this

I support this gesture from FG

We need mature minds in the universities not babies

Imagine a lecturer shouted at a student and the next thing is the student starting crying 😂

More reason we're having weak men in the society now
Perhaps lecturers should apart doing shouting test to know which kid is matured or not.

It's absolute nonsense, govt should allow kids develop at their pace not forcing things on them, anyone that has been rushed will naturally not be able to cope .

You, an online paid shameless Political syncophant who supports nobody but the Serial loser, Atiku, is berating a well learned, well bred and well traveled /exposed, Havard, MIT and University of Madinah Trained Professor of Cyber Security. Indeed, wonders shall never end.

Since Bosun Tijani was appointed, what really has he done apart from launching and relaunching useless online platforms?
He was busy criticizing Prof., now the mantle has be shifted to him and we are keenly watching.
His own case is quite special cos he was even criticising the former head of the ministry he now heads, it will be very easy to assess him based on his assertions in the past. Many people share biased ideas based on what they have read in the books and criticise based on it too, but find it difficult to perform as much when saddled with that same duty.
Nigerian experts should try to be making practicable and progressive suggestions to people in power rather than outright criticism.

It will be interesting to see how things play out in the main election proper if (as expected) PDP presents a candidate from the South.
The South might vote massively for the PDP candidate to 'secure' their own 8 years rule, but will be countered by votes for APC from Central and Northern zone who would want it faster than waiting 8 and 16 years.

Spray and get arrested angry. Mutilation of the Naira is bad!

On another note, I think efcc should let us know if 'spraying' and 'mutilation' of the Naira are the same. I say this cos if we are truly talking about mutilation of the Naira, most of the sprayed cashes are not as mutilated as what people use to transact in our streets and markets.

I think if the main aim of efcc is to curb Naira mutilation, instead of arresting and trying people, efcc should rather concentrate on mass orientation on mutilation of the Naira through both print and electronic media in conjuction with the National Orientation Agency, that will drive home the objective better than arresting people.

Obviously, those categories of staff listed after "other than" are the ones truly working.

What support is the government giving to established farmers in Bayelsa in terms of Security, Mechanisation, Fertilisers, improved seedlings, Agric loans etc? That would be better than declaring what may not be effectively monitored.

Science/Technology / Re: I Have 350k, Can I Install A Single Solar Panel For My Appliances? by Inspirer1: 8:53pm On Apr 20
matify83:

Hmmm!

This is going to be a recipe for disaster.

One 250w solar panel at Isc of about 7A on a PWM charge controller will never take that battery to a full Bulk charge of 14.4V.

My guy will definitely have issues in less than 3 months after installation because the battery will sulphate from undercharging.

I will advise op get more funds and set-up something that will be worth the effort. An MPPT charge controller will be most appropriate because of its efficiency.
He will need about 2-3 additional panels for faster charging.

My guy, just invest the 350k and do a good job later.
You are not ready yet

Kindly do well by recommending an appropriate set up.
