Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(18th March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Honour: Position Yourself To Receive God's Blessing Scripture: Psalm 2:11 - Worship the LORD with reverence. And rejoice with trembling *Message* A major way to get positioned to receive God's blessings is via honour. A person who doesn't honour God can not enjoy the blessings of God. Now, there are 3 things that reveal honour, including: A. Reverence This entails trembling at God's presence in holy adoration. You don't take the things that concern God for granted and with levity. Let's see some verses from the Bible: Hebrews 12:8; Therefore, since we receive a kingdom that can not be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to GOD an acceptable service with reverence and awe Psalm 5:7 But as for me, by Your abundant loving kindness I will enter Your house. At your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You B. Uprightness This entails you consciously and intentionally choosing to be just and righteous because you want to always please GOD. Psalms 37:37 - Mark the blameless man, and behold the upright, for the man of peace will have prosperity. Psalms 125:4 - Do good, O LORD, to those who are good. And to those who are upright in their hearts. C.Giving Giving to God is a superb way to showcase your honour towards Him. In subsequent devotionals, we will discuss this better. *Prayer* I'm not ignorant of the needed principles to live a blessed life. *Further Reading* Genesis 26:13 NKJV The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous;

Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(17th March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Law Of The Blessing (2) Scripture: Genesis 12:2 NKJV [2] I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. *Message* It is helpful when we better understand the concept of mercy. Of course, mercy is one of the packages that comes with the blessings of God. In fact, mercy is the carrier of the other expressions of the blessing - blessing provokes the mercy of God upon a person. It should also be added that the blessing of God comes with a prospering hand, where all you lay your hands on prospers greatly. We have always been told that we should be very hard-working to have abundance - but don't forget that it is the blessings of God that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow. Being diligent in what you are meant to do is very necessary. But when our concept of hard work revolves around devoting a very large chunk of time and energy to making money, then it's bad, as we are living below our potential and God's Will for us. It's not right to seek financial prosperity at the expense of other crucial parts of your life, such as your relationship with God and your service to Him, your health and well-being, your family and loved ones, etc. The Will of God is that you prosper greatly in whatever He has given you the grace to do (business, career, ministry, etc). That you live in abundance and still have sufficient time to serve Him, sufficient time to take good care of yourself, and for your family and loved ones. God's blessings make you prosper in whatever you do without sacrificing what truly matters in life and eternity. Prosperity is very pivotal if you want to become all that GOD wants you to become. *Prayer* I'm not ignorant of the needed principles to live a blessed life. *Further Reading* Genesis 26:3 NKJV [3] Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.

Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(16th March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Law Of The Blessing Scripture: Numbers 6:24 NKJV “The Lord bless you and keep you; *Message* Let me first give a description of some integral ways the blessings of God find expression before talking about how to engage this law. You know, there's a difference between calling yourself a king and actually reigning. To actually exercise true dominion, we need resources (not just material resources, although material resources are also integral, so don't let anyone portray them as being bad). It's God's Will that we prosper in all things and have abundance - this will empower us to bring about His Will in whatever capacity He has called us. Prosperity is a tool that can be used to advance what is in the heart of God for you in the space He has ordained for you. Poverty and lack are bad and are never God's Will for us. There are people with a message for their generation but died with it because they don't have the resources needed. When we engage the law of the blessing, one of the immediate results it brings is favour. Favour is an attractive supernatural garment that comes upon you, and makes people (both mortals and immortals) find pleasure in blessing you and ensuring your well-being and progress (they are always ready and eager to bless you and go out of their way to ensure your well-being and progress). It compells people to make you their preference. There's something wrong if you have to sweat to get all the resources you have at your disposal. Someone said if on your birthday you didn't receive adequate gifts, you shouldn't be comfortable. We should enjoy favour on a daily basis. And don't forget that favour is beyond money, though money is an important part. "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with GOD and men." Luke 2:52 Jesus would have been limited if He only increased in wisdom and stature. But note that He had favour "with GOD and men". Favour brings upliftment. *Prayer* I'm not ignorant of the needed principles to live a blessed life. *Further Reading* "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with GOD and men." Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(15th March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: It Is Important To Know And Engage Kingdom Principles Scripture: "My people perish for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6) *Message* It is quite possible to be committed to church and its activities and still live below your potential , and we've seen a lot of people in this category in different parts of human history. There have been people who gave their time and energy to church, and they still lived their lives being traumatized by creation, under poverty, sickness, curses, etc. Many times, this can happen because they are ignorant of the things they should have known that would have given them the dominion they deserved. The LORD Himself said, "My people perish for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6). Emphasis on 'My people'. Meaning, they are His, but they still ended up on the path that is not God's Will for them because they failed to recognize the knowledge they should have engaged. Even though GOD is not happy with such a situation, it's not His fault. So, you should realise that loving church and spiritual activities doesn't automatically make you live above poverty or sickness. This is true in cases where a person fails to engage necessary principles already put in place by GOD. It's very necessary to teach God's people specific kingdom principles so they can know what to apply to get specific results. Sure, when a person is so committed to the things of God, even while ignorant of certain important kingdom principles, the Spirit would faithfully play His role in drawing your attention to these things. He even will try giving you instructions just to ensure you engage these principles - but it's left to you to put your hands on them. For instance, if you want to be blessed financially, you must engage the kingdom principles revolving around giving. However, if you are so committed to God but you are not engaging in giving as a kingdom principle, the Holy Spirit tries to help you by giving you instructions just to make you give. For instance, He can command you to give some percentage of your monthly income. The aim is to set you up for divine blessings. *Prayer* I'm not ignorant of the needed principles to live a blessed life. *Further Reading* "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(14th March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Law Of Total Surrender (2) Scripture: "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me" Galatians 2:20 *Message* Let's stop holding back ourselves from GOD. At this point, you are activated into the realm of true stewardship in the kingdom. The LORD becomes comfortable with entrusting with His resources - power, anointing, gifts, wealth, etc, since He knows you will use it the way He wants. The first law that keeps you in safety is the law of total surrender. Such persons given to this law are not many out there, so the Spirit of God is jealous over them. You dare not touch these ones. The law of total surrender is so pivotal because it will even determine if or how you will engage other sovereign or kingdom laws. Also, it's for our good to die to self and let God administer our lives for us. Things like prosperity, fame, etc, have the capability of turning the average human into a monster - we keep seeing this every time. Now, God has the capacity to manage those things appropriately. He is their Creator, and He have an ancient wisdom. So when you have given God your full self, when those things come to you, God helps you manage them in a way they won't destroy you. Surrending ourselves totally to the LORD will guarantee 100 per cent fulfilment on earth and in eternity. Yes, it is possible to be rich on earth without going God's way. But the truth is, there is always an absence of fulfilment. Even if there's satisfaction, what shall it profit a man to gain the world and become less in eternity? *Prayer* Help me Lord to yield myself wholly to You. *Further Reading* "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(13th March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Law Of Total Surrender (1) Scripture: "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me" Galatians 2:20 *Message* You must recognize and utilize what we call "Sovereign Laws of Dominion", for your own good. Sovereign laws of dominion are specific laws that are for the people of God, giving them an advantage and edge as they interact with the world system.These will always guarantee a successful and fulfilled life. One of such is The Law Of Total Surrender. This denotes making a conscious decision in spirit and in truth to submit and surrender all of yourself to the LORD. The pathway of total surrender is the very first path Jesus places us when we embrace Him. It's what can enable us adhere to the royal commandment of loving the LORD with everything, as well as others. It denotes giving your entirety to the LORD, where you no longer have a life for yourself, where your life is no longer yours. "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me" Galatians 2:20 It means you have agreed to die to yourself. You have become a bondservant to the Holy Spirit. You have become a sort of puppet in His hands. What matters is what the LORD wants. What the LORD wants is what you want. It is the LORD that makes decisions for you. It is the LORD that decides for you. It is the LORD that chooses for you (your relationships, marital destiny, career, etc). At this point, your affections, your passion, your desires are no longer yours, neither are they channeled in the manner you like. Rather, your affections are completely set on the things above... For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ" Colossians 3:2,3 *Prayer* Help me Lord to yield myself wholly to You. *Further Reading* "For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain" Philippians 1:21

Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(12th March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Path Of Dominion Scripture: Genesis 1:26 NKJV [26] Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” *Message* One of the benefits we derive from living our lives in line with God's perfect Will for us is that we are given the supernatural tool called dominion. Dominion is a blessing, a mandate, and a tool. When GOD was telling Adam and Eve to go and multiply and have dominion, it was an instruction packaged in a mantle. GOD blessed them as though He was praying for them; and He also instructed them; and He handed them the mantle of dominion. The path of dominion is one that seeks to accomplish God's perfect Will while on earth. It is a sacrificial path that takes us on a journey into becoming the glorious creatures GOD has destined us to become when we appear in eternity. We must understand that the earth was given to us as a platform for investments for the world to come. Yes, all believers in Christ will get to heaven. But in eternity, men are in ranks and class. To experience true dominion, you must devote yourself to a thought pattern and way of life that is higher than the systems of this world. In fact, our way is strange and abnormal to this world and to common sense. The way of God's sons is a lifestyle that is operating from the kingdom of God. It is a lifestyle that is being directed by kingdom principles. The path of dominion entails giving yourself to certain important kingdom principles that can guarantee you dominion in the earth realm. They are keys that activates the supernatural tool called dominion, which empowers us to bring about God's Will in whatever sector He has placed you; and which also places you above poverty and lack, sickness, sin, hell, fear, satan, and anything negative. *Prayer* I am a creature of dominion. I dominate in God's will. *Further Reading* "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD. Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(11th March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: A Kingdom Mindset Scripture: "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts" Isaiah 55:8,9 *Message* You must ensure that kingdom principles become the bedrock of your value system and way of life, and you should ignore the different ideologies and philosophies contrary to biblical principles that are popular around us today. The fact is, Jesus wants you to have a kingdom mentality. Your success depends on it, your wealth, your growth, etc, depends on a Kingdom mentality. I understand that one of the worries of many people is the fear of what the future holds. "Would I be rich and successful in the future?"Would I get a good husband who is going to treat me well?"Won't I make the mistakes of my parents and siblings?" "What would happen if I failed?", etc. But the fact is, you are assured of 100 percent success in important facets of life if you live your life within the boundaries of God's kingdom - which is synonymous with living your life in line with God's perfect Will for you. It is our destiny to find Jesus first and be obessed with Him. When a Christian starts living for Jesus, he starts living reasonably. One of the benefits of having a kingdom mentality is that you won't simply be relying on others to think for you. Rather than always believing someone else's opinion, you start trusting your own. You won't have to go to social media to read about what others are saying about politics, marriage, money, etc, before having an opinion (even your own unique opinion). For many, your opinion on certain things today was brought about by what you read or learned somewhere. However, Adam was not wired to live in a realm driven by information but of revelation. Not by facts, but wired to live in a realm driven by faith. So, my opinion on important things should not be merely formed by the information others are passing, but by revelation in God's Word. *Prayer* I live with a kingdom mentality and mindset, and I flourish in God's kingdom. *Further Reading* Matthew 6:33 NKJV But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(10th March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Importance Of Interceding For Our Spiritual Leaders (2) Scripture: II Corinthians 1:11 NKJV [11] you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the gift granted to us through many. *Message* We should emphasise the necessity of constantly raising intercessions for our spiritual leaders (particularly those called into the 5-fold ministry - the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers). When we make it a habit to intentionally pray for our spiritual leaders, we are doing ourselves great good, and the church benefits greatly. Don't forget, these spiritual leaders are gifts to us (the Body of Christ) from God to make us become all that God has ordained us to be for eternity. In fact, the success of your spiritual leaders is your success. If they fail in carrying out their ecclesiastical responsibilities, it will affect you one way or another. It doesn't matter how aligned you are with the Holy Ghost, the truth is there are certain spiritual nourishment that you can only obtain from spiritual leaders with ministerial gifts. Therefore, when you are always praying for your spiritual leaders whom God has placed over you, you will be partnering with heaven to keep these leaders standing strong, so they can continue to adequately discharge their spiritual duties over you, which in return will help you become all God has in mind as revealed from verse 12 to 16 of Ephesians 4. Also, we should understand that the average genuine minister of God is operating from a high level of priesthood cadre, where he or she literally doesn't live for himself or herself. Their prayers are usually directed towards the church and overall Will of God, and they don't usually have the opportunity to spend quality time praying for themselves. Therefore, it is a good thing if the church can always pray for them. It is a good thing if the church can always intercede for them intentionally and purposefully (spending quality time in interceding for specifics - praying for their health, wealth, strength, etc) *Prayer* Take time to say prayers for your spiritual leaders today. *Further Reading* "But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.) And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love." (Ephesians 4:7-16) *Message* Apostle Paul was a very great man of God that turned a whole continent upside-down for Jesus in a matter of months. He is a man of great spiritual stature who founded a lot of churches and begat a lot of spiritual children (1 Corinthians 4:15; Galatians 4:19). The churches and his spiritual children always look up to him. Here is a man who can pray in tongues more than them all (1 Corinthians 14), and that is ahead of them when it comes to touching supernatural realities. Here is a man caught up in the third heavens and heard inexpressible words from divine entities (2 Corinthians 12). Here is a man who can easily minister the power of God at will (1 Corinthians 4:19,20; 2 Corinthians 13:2,3). Here is a man who can confidently tell the church to imitate and follow him as he follows Chirst (1 Corinthians 4:16; 1 Corinthians 11:1). Here is a man that can boldly declare that he labours more than every other minister he knows of, by God's grace (1 Corinthians 15:10; 2 Corinthians 11). Nevertheless, despite all these, the great man of God still pleads for prayers from the church. And we could see this in different parts of his letters to different people and churches - Rom 15:30-32; 2 Cor 1:10-11; Eph 6:18-20; Phil 1:19; Col 4:2-4; 1 Th 5:25; 2 Th 3:1-2; Phile 1:22. If he were to be the writer of the book of Hebrews, then we can also include Heb 13:18-19. This is one of the core reasons for Paul's success in ministry - "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing." (II Timothy 4:7, .But one of the reasons he was able to continue without failing or fading away on the path of ministry, is because he was always coveting prayers from the church, despite his own high ranking spiritual authority - the church too was actually praying for him continually. Standing strong and ending well as a minister of God is beyond anointing and spiritual gifts - the church should pray for you continually! *Prayer* Take time to say prayers for your spiritual leaders today. *Further Reading* "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(8th March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: What Should I Intercede For? (4) Scripture: 1 Timothy 2: 1-4 "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." *Message* God "... desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." (Vs 4). This has given us another view as to why God wants us to lavish quality time on raising incense of intercession for our leaders. Aside the fact that our intercession is utilised to produce a good society that will enable believers tend their personal relationships with the Lord with ease, a functional society without violence and chaos will also make the work of soul winning and establishment flourish as it ought to. So, when God says we should pray for our leaders, He is also looking beyond those ungodly leaders, but actually focusing towards the souls that will be brought into His kingdom when the society is now being driven by kingdom principles one way or the other. Jesus said: “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” (Matthew 9:37-38) It will be easy for labourers to come in and join themselves to kingdom ventures if we have a great and prosperous society. This is one of the major factors Europe and America could afford to send Missionaries to other parts of the world many years ago, and we here are still benefiting from their efforts. As personal godliness cannot easily flourish in a dilapidated society, kingdom services will also suffer in a dysfunctional society. For instance, if there is constant violence in a territory, evangelistic efforts can be frustrated. Hence, we must keep praying for our political leaders intentionally so that through them, the Lord can grant us a conducive society for us and His Will to thrive. *Prayer* Take time to say prayers for your political leaders today. *Further Reading* Philippians 4:8 - "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things."

Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(7th March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: What Should I Intercede For? (3) Scripture: 1 Timothy 2: 1-4 "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." *Message* We wrapped up yesterday with the truth that the state of the society is determined by the Church's actions or inactions (what the church is doing and what she fails to do). We said if our society is filled with crime and violence, then we might want to look at what is happening in the church and not point accusing fingers just at the devil alone. God has this to say - "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14). The healing of the land is in the hands of the children of God (the church). So, when it seems as if your society is still plagued by infirmities, two things may be involved: 1. Perhaps the church is not praying as she ought to. It is one thing to know how to pray, and it is another thing to actually pray. It is one thing to know that intercession is a remedy to our backwardness as a nation, it is another thing to actually intercede for the nation. "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one."(Ezekiel 22:30) 2. We might just not be praying rightly. The realm of the spirit is one of order and protocols. There are protocols we must adhere to if our intercessory incense strikes a chord in the realm of the spirit. Some of them could be seen both in 1 Timothy 2 and 2 Chronicles 7:14 (including being intentional with praying for our leaders, praying from a sincere standpoint of humility, praying without stains of sins and transgressions, etc). If we are faithful with all these, scripture says , "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,". These things have a stamp of the Spirit, and we should give great priority to them. *Prayer* Take time to say prayers for the President of your country today.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." *Message* God is still very much aware that many of our political leaders are nasty and ungodly and corrupt, but He still wants us to give priority to praying for them, and He expects us to be faithful with this. But why would God want us to always labour in the place of prayer for these ungodly and corrupt leaders? Well, it is actually because of us (His children) and the fulfilment of His grand eternal agenda. "....that we may lead (or live) a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." So, while God is asking us to intercede for these ungodly leaders that we don't like, He is actually thinking about our own well-being. Of course, our intercessions can bring about repentance to these leaders (God wants everyone to be saved). However, looking beyond them (many of them won't even submit themselves to the Lord due to power drunkeness and other factors), God wants to use our intercessory prayers to ensure a pleasant environment where our services and communion with Him will keep flourishing. God wants us to have societies where we can easily serve Him with peace and pleasantness. He has given us a strong formula for this: be intentional about raising incense for your President and other government officials. Maybe this is something some believers in very hostile societies should see and know. Maybe they haven't been diligent in carrying this out, but are only praying for something bad to happen to these leaders. The state of the society is determined by the Church's actions or inactions (what the church is doing and what she fails to do). For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." *Message* An Intercessor is one who takes the place of another; one who pleads another's case. Intercession is a major preoccupation of a priest, which is the destiny of every believer. If you don't know what to intercede for, scripture has given us very clear direction: "(first of all), raise incense on behalf of kings and those in authority (equivalent to our President and other government officials today)." "for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." (1 Timothy 2:2). If you check the archives of history, a large chunk of those ancient kings were power drunk folks who treated their subjects like trash. However, God is still saying the kings are prominent set of people that should be interceded for first. On a political and rational level, it is a difficult thing for the people (because they are not a fan of many of their rulers since they suffer abuse from them). However, God wants His children to be more spiritual than political. We should not to be politically minded at the expense of spirituality In our context, irrespective of what you think about the President of our nation, in God's agenda, the President is part of the most prominent set of people you should always intercede. So, when last did you really take time to intentionally intercede for the President of your country? Now, many of those ancient kings and rulers (in different parts of the world) are pagans, and also evil. In our current society also, many of our political leaders are nasty and ungodly and corrupt. Nevertheless, God still wants us to give priority to praying for them, and we must be faithful to this. *Prayer* Take time to say prayers for the President of your country today. *Further Reading* Romans 13:1 NKJV [1] Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(4th March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem Scripture: "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces.” For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good." Psalms 122:6-9 *Message* Intercession is an instruction, and an avenue to set yourself up for divine all-round prosperity in the kingdom. "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces.” For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good." Psalms 122:6-9 There is always a 'Jerusalem' for every one of us to intercede for. Your 'Jerusalem' can be a person, or a geographical location, or a church, or a tribe, and so on. Every believer has been instructed to always seek to know the 'Jerusalem' they must intercede for per time and engage that ministry unfailingly. Now, the other parts of that scripture talked about how those who are faithful to the assignment of their own Jerusalem will be prospered. Great blessedness is attached to the conformity of your Jerusalem to God's perfect Will. In other words, when the things you are interceding for are becoming conformed to God's perfect Will, you also will flourish. Intercession is one of God's unfailing strategies to ensure His children will keep flourishing at all sides. Don't forget, one of the things God hates so much is selfishness and being self-centered (Luke 12:16-21). After all, the Trinity has been flourishing for ages via the economy of selflessly. It is easy to make your voice heard in the realm of the spirit when you are not praying for your own self, but sacrificially raising incense of prayers on behalf of others. *Prayer* In the Name of Jesus, I'm strengthened to conduct effective intercession as a priest to God. *Further Reading* Romans 8:26 "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(3rd March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Intercession Scripture: "Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us". Romans 8:34 *Message* There are very good reasons intercession should become part of us. Our Lord Jesus, despite being Who He is in glory, continues engaging the ministry of intercession. "Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us". Romans 8:34 Hebrews 7:24-26 says: "But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens" Additionally, the Holy Spirit is an Intercessor. It was written of Him in Romans 8:26 - "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." Therefore, don't be part of those who felt serious intercession is just for some selected few. While there are certain people who are directly called into a higher calling of an Intercessor (secret dwellers that generates energy to open territorial operations and make it a reality), every believer is required to give great priority to intercession, since we are priests to God. *Prayer* In the Name of Jesus, I'm strengthened to conduct effective intercession as a priest to God. *Further Reading* Romans 8:26 "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(2nd March 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Don't Make Your Needs An Idol (3) Scripture: And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19) *Message* For some folks who are struggling to have their needs met (and are seeking it at the expense of their relationship with God and Christian ministry), the issue may be that they are not yet operating in the kingdom as they ought to, and are yet to really possess the kingdom. One of the proofs that an individual is yet to possess the Kingdom is that they are ignorant of their rights and inheritance in the kingdom. The Apostles used to be ignorant, too. After Jesus was arrested, some of them abandoned their ministry because they wanted to take care of their needs. But, subsequently, after they started understanding their rights in the kingdom, they can now commit themselves fully to the ministry of the word and prayer and still lack nothing. When light came, the Apostles realised they could never be stranded just because they were faithful to their priestly ministry. They realised they had already been blessed with all the resources they needed. They simply have to take them, not beg for them, because kings don't beg. You have being blessed with the keys you need (the Name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, etc) to fetch any thing you need in the physical that is consistent with God's perfect Will for you. “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! (Matthew 7:7-11) Finally, let's plug ourselves into the abundance that is inherent in the kingdom by faith, so we will possess a great measure of abundance that can afford us ample time to always tend to our priestly ministry as believers. *Prayer* In the Name of Jesus, I refuse to make my needs an idol in my life. *Further Reading* Matthew 6:25 NKJV “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? *Message* In Matthew 6:25, Jesus was making us realise that He is very much aware that as humans, we have legitimate needs (at least, the three basic things of life should be sorted - food, clothing, and shelter). However, your needs should not be an idol to you that owns and directs your life. Your needs should not determine the quality and texture of your devotion to spiritual and eternal things. Jesus was making them and us realize that the fear of not having resources to meet your needs should not be entertained, and should not be allowed to dictate your level of commitment to the things of the Spirit. So, He said, "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness." Seek first the things pertaining to the kingdom above your own need. And since the ministry of priesthood is an integral part of the kingdom, then place it above the desire to meet your own needs. So, bringing this to our own context today, we can say that if there are opportunities that would affect your devotion to God and your spiritual priestly ministry, you should turn your back against them irrespective of how lucrative they appear. Yes, this is a tough thing for many believers because we don't yet know faith. Faith is a fuel in the kingdom - we run the kingdom and operate in it by faith. Don't forget Jesus promise that when you truly seek the kingdom and have possessed it, all these things (all you need) will be sorted with ease. *Prayer* In the Name of Jesus, I refuse to make my needs an idol in my life. *Further Reading* Matthew 6:24 (NIV) "No one can serve two masters. Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(28th February 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Don't Make Your Needs An Idol (1) Scripture: Exodus 20:3 NKJV [3] “You shall have no other gods before Me. *Message* I want us to address one of the reasons why people are not ready to invest quality time in intercession. You should know that there are two crucial things we can't exempt from the ministry of priesthood: intercession (looking beyond your own self) and quality time. You should be aware already that every believer is destined to function as a spiritual priest. I discovered that one of the major factors that hinders us from always investing quality time for intercession is the presence of our own needs. We all have needs, and many are legitimate needs. So, we are usually trying to do several things just to get resources to meet our needs, and they take up quality time. For many believers, even when they are now able to create some time to pray, their needs are staring at their face, and that is what they find themselves praying for, rather than raising incense of intercession for others. Hence, we should know God's word about our needs, so we won't be like many Christians who have made their needs an idol. These ones are always talking about their needs. They are always praying for their needs to be met. They are always thinking about their needs. Their needs control them. Their needs determine how long they should pray and what they should pray on. *Prayer* In the Name of Jesus, I refuse to make my needs an idol in my life. *Further Reading* Matthew 6:24 (NIV) "No one can serve two masters. Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(27th February 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: What You Should Know Scripture: Isaiah 61:6 But you will be called the priests of the Lord; You will be spoken of as ministers of our God. You will eat the wealth of nations, And in their riches you will boast. *Message* You should know that priesthood is synonymous with legislation, and it is a ministry that should flourish in the hands of every believer. Everyone of us possesses the potential of ascending into the heavens in the spirit to engage the Divine over the affairs of a subset of this world so as to ensure perfect conformity with God's perfect Will. You should also know already that intercession is one of the major 6 used in engaging priesthood. In Hebrews 7:24,25, it was said of Jesus (our High Priest who has drawn a perfect pattern for our priesthood): "But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them". So, every believer, without necessarily needing to occupy a spiritual ministerial office, can legislate over their territory, over a people, over a generation, over systems and structures, and so on. They can, from the high heavens, prompt a court sitting of the immortals over the affairs and destinies of what/who they are legislating for. The Ministry of Priesthood is an eternal ordination. From the Old Testament, right into eternity, God has been revealing how He greatly desires that His people should be a kingdom of priests. Arise today to become all God has destined you to be! *Prayer* In the Name of Jesus, I rise to fulfil my eternal ordination as a priest of God. *Further Reading* Exodus 19:6 and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel.”

Don't forget, in Mark 11:23, Jesus made us realize that what you do to mountains (obviously not mere physical mountains) is to order them to 'be removed'. That is, we don't negotiate with mountains. We simply excavate them out of the way by faith in the Name of Jesus. Mountains are usually taller than the average human, and they block our sight/vision. If you stand in front of a mountain, you are hindered from seeing what is ahead - you only see the mountain. And as you are hindered from seeing what is ahead, you can't even access or get to the place because you are obstructed by the mountain. The enemy wages war with mountains, so our sight becomes myopic, and we are blinded to see what we should see. Once the enemy places a mountain before a person, they struggle to see what Christ has already done for them in victory, and they are hindered from accessing it. Mountains are meant to kill faith and hope. So, whatever mountain you are confronting right now (mountain of lust, of depression, of lack, of sickness, of frustration, etc), command them to be removed right now, in Jesus Name. Don't approach spiritual warfare with rationalism and human intelligence/permutations - it is beyond what the brightest mind can comprehend. Simply go spiritual. *Prayer* Command any mountain hindering you from destiny fulfilment to be destroyed in the Name of Jesus. *Further Reading* Revelation 12:12 NKJV Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” *Message* The good news is that as believers, we have victory over all spiritual enemies already in Christ Jesus. However, we can't claim the victory if we are devoid of light - which explains why many believers are still helpless. One of the things faith can do is to lead us to the place of practical priesthood intelligence, where we fight (or rather, claim our victory) with light The fact remains that till Jesus returns, we are going to keep wresting against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. However, the LORD is empowering us with light, so we will always position ourselves to keep claiming the victory He already procured for us. You should understand the manner in which the enemies had access to the type of power they are using. First, it should be noted that the powers the devil and his cohorts are using to do evil were not created by him - the devil is not a creator unlike God, and he doesn't even have such abilities. However, don't forget that he is a spiritual being who first spent a long time in the realm of God in heaven, and knew the spiritual techniques/codes attached to performing spectacular occurrences from the spiritual realm. Still, in Christ Jesus, we are more than conquerors. *Prayer* In the Name of Jesus, I am more than a conqueror. *Further Reading* Matthew 8:29 NKJV [29] And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” *Message* As sons and daughters of God clinging unto priesthood, when we make attempts to bring a reality from God from the heavens down to the earth, we shouldn't expect these enemy spirits not to give a fight. In Daniel chapter 10, the man of God conducted priesthood to fetch a tangibility from the realm of God. One the same vein, the prince of persia swung into actions to hinder the manifestation of what he had already procured. So, at times, that you are yet to see manifestations and results to some requests doesn't mean you haven't obtained those things. It can just be that there is a principality in the air hindering it from getting to you - standing on a legitimate ground as it were in the case of Daniel and the children of Israel. Also, as priests of God empowered with light to alter the operations of these spirits and destroy their evil works upon territories and people, we shouldn't expect them not to fight. The LORD JESUS, in Matthew 12:29, was talking about how before you can enter the strong man's house (the dungeon of demons) to plunder his house (to set his captive free), you must first bind the strong man. This was what Elijah did before he could set Israel free from the captivity of baal - he first bind baal in the spirit realm, which is why baal could not respond when the prophets of baal were calling him on Mount Carmel (1 Kings 18) *Prayer* In the Name of Jesus, the works of the enemy are dismantled over my territory. *Further Reading* Matthew 8:29 NKJV [29] And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” *Message* Priesthood entails making legislation to enforce the perfect Will of God in this plane of existence. Now, we understand that the spiritual realm is broad and mysterious, and different activities are usually going right there by different spirits. Now, not all spirits are on God's side - there are many on the side of the devil as we see in Revelation 12 (how Lucifer and the angels supporting his revolt against God were thrown away from Heaven). The aim of these contrary spirits (which was inspired by their master, Lucifer) is to hinder and frustrate the perfect Will of God, before their final destruction comes. And since they have some knowledge of the dynamics of using spiritual powers, they seem to have an edge over the average human on earth. Hence, they have been hindering the perfect Will of God from coming to pass upon individuals, nations, territories, etc. The grand objective of the activities of demons, witches, etc, is to hinder people from becoming all that God has destined them to become. So, when you see these enemies afflicting people with curses, poverty, sickness, death, etc, the result is to ensure their prey won't become all that God has destined them to be. Remember, our destiny as humans is to have an intimate righteous relationship with God through Jesus Christ, which empowers us to have dominion over creation. Anyone whose life is not consistent with this is under the influence of the attack of the enemy. *Prayer* In the Name of Jesus, the works of the enemy are dismantled over my territory. *Further Reading* Matthew 8:29 NKJV [29] And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(22nd February 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Pray And Be Patient Scripture: Hebrews 6:12 - "That you do not be sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises." *Message* The patriarchs of old inherited the promises not only through faith but also through patience. You see, results stand on two legs: faith and patience. If you have faith and don't have patience, you won't wait for the fulfilment of the promises. Indeed, patience is one of the major things that helped strengthen the faith muscles of the fathers, there by making them giants in the spirit. So, let me ask you, how well can you wait for the fulfilment of the promises? The devil will always come with offers, too, when he sees that your results are on the way. Hence, as you wear the garment of patience while awaiting the fulfilment of your prayers, ensure you make Thanksgiving a lifestyle. [2] And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God: *Message* Let's talk about actions of obedience, as it is a prominent factor if you want to see constant results from the place of prayer Someone said "Faith is not just saying what God has said; faith is doing what God has said." We must understand that every time there is no doing, you do not commit God to perform. Every promise of God has a condition attached to it. You have to find the condition and obey. You must always be ready to act on the word (both in scriptures and directly by the Holy Spirit) to see results. You can't be excellent in priesthood if you are not excellent in obedience to the dictates of God. So, as you pray over a particular matter, always search for the instructions God is passing across over that thing. As you engage the instructions, results theb become prominent. *Prayer* In the Name of Jesus, I labour in the place of prayer from the place of light and grace. *Further Reading* John 13:17 NKJV [17] If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(20th February 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Pray With Light (2) Scripture: Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." *Message* It's important to know to engage faith and prayer based on an excellent knowledge of the principles of the kingdom and the realm of the spirit. Indeed, the kingdom and realm of the spirit is a knowledge-dependent jurisdiction. What you know determines what you get. Do you want favour, success, honour? Do you know the principles that govern them? If you want to keep getting results, you should realise that faith involves praying from a position of spiritual responsibility. That is, you discharge spiritual responsibility and engage the principles attached to what you desire, then you come to the place of prayer to claim its results without delay. This light makes prayer cease to be a struggle. The issue with many believers today has been exposed in Psalm 82:5. "They do not know, nor do they understand.." The results were that, ".. they walk about in darkness.." Therefore, for such believers, "...all the foundations of the earth are unstable." And verse six was now explaining that this is not God's perfect Will for His own, because: "You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High." Lack of light makes princes walk on barefoot like servants, while servants ride on horsebacks. So, invest massively in knowledge. Know the things you need to know that can help you become better in your priesthood activities (you can ask the Holy Spirit right now to open your eyes and also direct you to the things you ought to know). As you attract light, spend a lot of time on meditation until understanding is established. Don't rush studying the Bible and other good spiritual materials. You are in no competition with anybody. Rather, ponder on the eternal truths until comprehension is established, and it becomes light in your spirit. *Prayer* In the Name of Jesus, I labour in the place of prayer from the place of light and grace. *Further Reading* 1 Timothy 4:15 - "Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all."

Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(19th February 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Pray With Light Scripture: Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." *Message* Those who keep enjoying the dividends of prayer don't approach the altar of prayer with ignorance but with revelation and light. First, they are fully aware of the promises of God, and they engage prayer on the strength of the truth that God can not lie. Their faith is such that involves the knowledge and understanding of the reality and reliability of God. They lived Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." This is a reality to them, and they don't doubt nor waver at the place of prayer. They know what God has said concerning the issue they want to see the Hand of God upon. If they want to break a curse over a territory, they know what the word of God has said (and is saying) over the issue, and they legislate on the strength of that truth. If they want to declare increase and blessings over their family, they know what the word of God has promised about increase and blessings, and they move with it. Don't forget that even the Lord Jesus Himself while on earth, kept declaring "for it is written" as a testimony to the extent of light He had from God's word. Therefore, it is important that we saturate ourselves with specific things God has done, to the extent where we have faith in His abilities over those things, even if the current situation is contrary. What has God said about good health? About prosperity? About success? About long life? Saturate yourself with these things and engage prayer on the strength of the light that comes *Prayer* In the Name of Jesus, I labour in the place of prayer from the place of light and grace. *Further Reading* "Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession" Psalms 2:8

Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(18th February 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Altar Of Prayer (2) Scripture: I Kings 18:36-37 NKJV [36] And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, “Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word. [37] Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.” *Message* The nation of Israel has been enveloped with idolatry, and all hope seems to be lost. However, Elijah conducted priesthood and shut the heavens for three and a half years, to prepare the ground for a massive spiritual revival in the land. At the end of the three and a half years, he came back to give birth to the revival he has conceived on the altar of prayer. After calling down fire at Mount Carmel, the Bible says: "Now when the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, "The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God!" And Elijah said to them, "Seize the prophets of Baal! Do not let one of them escape!" So they seized them; and Elijah brought them down to the Brook Kishon and executed them there". (1 Kings 18:39,40) Elijah was able to restore the worship of Yahweh back to Israel via the power available on the altar of prayer, which he accessed through faith. Today, there are several territories where worldliness and ungodliness have become their idol. I want us to know that there are great powers made available on the altar of prayer, and we can by faith appropriate this power to bring a spiritual revival upon the land, even in just a single day. As a territorial revivalist, this scripture should keep motivating you: "Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she gave birth to her children" Isaiah 66:8 *Prayer* I'm strengthened to pray at all times. Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, and he is ready to destroy the thousands of wisemen if they won't tell him the dream and its interpretation. This is a hard thing to do, but Daniel, by faith, knew that he could have access to anything on the altar of prayer. And by faith, he got the answer in a night vision, and solved a national problem that led to his promotion. By faith, we can have access to revelation and strategies on the altar of prayer, which could change the destiny of nations and territories. We can get wisdom and light which can provide solution to national and territorial issues. Our territories are still bedeviled with terrible problems, because we aren't getting it right yet with priesthood. We can get the solution to all of these negative things on the altar of prayer by faith. Expertise in priesthood can make us national and territorial superstars, as it did to Daniel. *Prayer* I'm strengthened to pray at all times. Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(16th February 2025)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Prayers Of Intercession Scripture: Hebrews 7:24,25 "But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them". *Message* Intercession has to do with standing in the gap in prayer for a person (or people) who have provoked judgement upon themselves through wrongdoings. God craves for the salvation of sinners. In Numbers 14, we see how that the LORD was fed-up with Israel due to their constant disobedience, and He told Moses that He is ready to destroy them and "disinherit them" (vs 12). He also told Moses that the next plan is to bring forth a new nation out of Moses that will take the place of Israel (which means God has already made up His mind to wipe off Israel due to them rejecting Him). However, although Moses knew that God doesn't joke with His words and that He is all powerful, Moses, by faith, proceeds to intercede for the people of Israel. At the end, he was able to get God to change His mind! "Then the LORD said: 'I have pardoned according to your word" (Numbers 14:20). On the platform of intercession, Moses was able to alter the destiny of a whole nation by faith! If he hasn't done this, the nation known as Israel won't have been in existence today. If you can give more attention to offering prayers of intercession, you can change the destiny of peoples and territories as did Moses. *Prayer* I'm strengthened to pray at all times. In Matthew 9:38, Jesus Himself says "Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” It means your prayers as a believer is crucial to ensure the salvation of some people. Additionally, if we want to see the rain of God's Spirit to be poured on the earth, then we can introduce supplication to make this a reality. In other words, supplication is a viable strategy to introduce revival upon the earth. Zechariah 10:1 says: "Ask the Lord for rain In the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone." Also, we offer the prayer of supplication to obtain forgiveness, as well as to life up the spiritual needs of others. It is very important to take note of all these. *Prayer* I'm strengthened to pray at all times.
