TOPIC: Prophesy! You Are Advantaged! (2)

1 Corinthians 14:1 TPT

[1] It is good that you are enthusiastic and passionate about spiritual gifts, especially prophecy.

*MESSAGE*

Prophecy is a supernatural utterance in a known human language or tongue. It is powered by the Spirit of God, performed by the strength of His Arms.

Yesterday, we saw how King Asa received a prophecy even in the Old Testament dispensation and the resultant effects it fetched. The prophecy turned his life and that of his kingdom around for good. They have these things in a measure, but in our new testament era of grace, we have all things in Christ Jesus!

In 1 Corinthians 12, some spiritual gifts available for Christians in this dispensation of grace were captured, including the gift of prophecy (vs 10). This gift is a supernatural ability given by the Holy Ghost to speak and proclaim the word of God. At times, the gift is very helpful in predicting the future.

See how great advantage we have as God's people! With the Holy Ghost, you are not disadvantaged! We have access to supernatural resources above the reach of this earth! We have the edge of the Holy Spirit! Hallelujah!

*Prayers*

I prophesy, I am advantaged!

2 Chronicles 15:7-9 (KJV)

7 Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

8 And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the Lord, that was before the porch of the Lord.

9 And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

*MESSAGE*

King Asa emerged as a remarkable king in ancient Israel at a time when there was massive societal turbulence, and spiritual darkness was heightened. He was known for his proactive reforms that made right a lot of wrong things.

Nevertheless, it all started from the Spirit-inspired utterance of Azariah, the son of Oded.

"Now the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded." (II Chronicles 15:1).

Those prophetic words stirred the king, empowered him, gave him clarity and direction, and enabled him to do awesome things that pleased God; laying a good foundation upon which his son Jehoshaphat would eventually build upon to do greater things.

Fortunately, we reside in a much better dispensation where the Spirit doesn't come upon a selected group of persons. Instead, every single one of us has access to the full measure of the Holy Ghost once we turn our lives to Him through faith in Christ Jesus.

Unlike theirs, which is a once-in-a-while thing - for us, the Holy Spirit speaks again and again. Therefore, we know what to do, and we are supernaturally enabled to do that which He desires, according to His perfect will.

*Prayers*

I prophesy, I am advantaged!

TOPIC: Only Jesus Can Do This

But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe… (Romans 3:21-22).

*MESSAGE*

On the Mount of Transfiguration (Matthew 17), the law and the prophets, ably represented by Moses and Elijah, aligned with the Kingdom power, courtesy the Lord Jesus Christ. Things will never be the same again. God's supreme wisdom (and mercy and grace) is now on display at a very sophisticated level.

For with Christ Jesus, dirty mankind becomes righteous by faith in Him. The pure garment of God's righteousness was placed upon any man and woman who is willing, through faith in Jesus. In the dispensations of the law and prophets, mankind helplessly struggles to attain true righteousness - all to no avail. Fortunately, the righteousness that we have been given in Christ Jesus is 100 per cent perfect.

Romans 5:1 says, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

You have been justified, which means you are declared not guilty. This is made possible as a result of all Jesus did - His death, burial, and resurrection.

*Prayers*

Thank You, dear Father, for I am righteous in Christ Jesus. Help me to keep yielding the pleasant fruits of righteousness.

TOPIC: Tell What Great Things The Lord Has Done For You

However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled. Mark 5:19‭-‬20

*Message*

Once upon a time, there were certain folks in different parts of a region living dilapidated lives. These were low-lifers who were not enviable as far as the most noble scheme of things in their society was concerned.

But they made the biggest and best decisions of life - accepting Jesus's invitation to life. This destiny-transforming choice would prove to be the right one, as they soared to the paths of becoming all God has ordained for them.

Therefore, even after Jesus ascended to Heaven, these disciples didn't stay shut but committed themselves to witnessing Him. In spite of how they were vehemently persecuted for their faith, even in the face of death, the zeal of God's kingdom kept burning within them, and they won't hold back their testimonies from a world that is destined to also serve the good purposes of the LORD.

Look at your life, o believer. Can you imagine how horrible and ugly your life would have turned out if not for Jesus? Hence, you must also rise for the salvation of others, pleasing God by witnessing Him.

*A lot of people out there today are suffering a lot, and living terrible lives. The stain on their lives can only be washed by the stainless blood of Jesus Christ. Bring them to this reality, too.*

*Prayers*

Christianity EtcWhat Do You Consume On The Internet? by Interesting15(op): 10:35am On Jun 22, 2025

by *Sunday Akanni*

TOPIC: What Do You Consume On The Internet?

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Proverbs 4:23

*Message*

For obvious reasons, each day, the online space is always saturated with numerous people from different parts of the world, and it is a very powerful space that can influence you in no small measure. Hence, as Christians who are citizens of Zion, we need to be very careful with the online space, since a large chunk is bent on fighting anything God.

So, you must always be careful with the things you consume when engaging the internet, particularly social media. There is a demonic intelligent strategy that sponsors content meant to stylishly drain faith in God from the heart of people.

Right now, you see many 'intelligent' individuals who are either proving God doesn't exist or churning content that encourages doing life without Him. For many internet consumers, as they keep consuming such things, they can start doubting all they know about God, including His existence.

What you should know is that several atheism-inclined content creators are actually demonized hypocrites who, in their personal lives, interact with the supernatural realm in a dark form. I had an experience many years ago. There is a lady I know, very beautiful, educated, and posh. But her lifestyle indicates that she doesn't place value on the existence of God.

This young lady was cohabiting with her boyfriend until both quarrelled, and the man sent her out of his house. As the man was bringing out her belongings from her space in his apartment, lo and behold, he started seeing fetish things (gourds and those stuff), and everyone was surprised. Here is an educated woman who doesn't seem to recognize God!

So, it is true that many of those intelligent folks on the internet who hate anything related to God and His ways are actually engaging in demonic stuff behind closed doors. They are only being led and inspired to do the things they do by the demons they carry.

Thus, it is dangerous to keep exposing yourself to what they represent online and to keep consuming their content. As a Christian, you should spend more time engaging in spiritual things (praying, studying the Bible, singing high praises to the Lord, etc) than having fun on the internet. You can always maximize the internet to please the LORD by giving more attention to edifying content and also producing stuff that glorifies JESUS, which other internet users can consume too.

TOPIC: God's Loves Still Melts Hearts

Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? Romans‬ ‭2:4‬

*MESSAGE:*

A proof of God's abundant love revolves around His sweet mercies. The goodness of God must be described from the lenses of His love.

This was what prompted Him to keep running after rebellious mankind. A strong exposure to the realization that the All-powerful One who is all-sufficient and can do without us but still keeps knocking at the door of the hearts of His creatures to have a formidable relationship with us, should melt the heart of the stiff sinner.

God loves us so much, and He desires an intimate relationship with each of us. He is always eager to help you fulfil your destiny. Hence, every human has a destiny to possess an intimate righteous relationship with God that is eternal in nature through Jesus Christ.

A truly fulfilled person can only be empowered by the Holy Spirit to have dominion over creation and will live above anything negative - be it poverty, sickness, satan, hell, sin, curses, etc.

So, humans have the power of self-will, to live their life the way they deem fit. Many out there have turned against the way of the LORD in rebellion, angry with God for known and unknown reasons. But then, God's love still melts the hardest heart, and they can begin to find true rest as they embrace God's kind of love.

*Prayer*

Pray for people who are angry with God for known and unknown reasons, that God's love saturates their hearts and brings them unto repentance in Jesus Name.

TOPIC: Giftedness Plus Hardworking Plus Character

Proverbs 22:1 NKJV
A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, Loving favor rather than silver and gold.

*Message*

Let's consider the case of a young man named Dan. From a young age, he stood out—he could sing like an angel, learn things in a day that others took years to master, and impress crowds with his charm and brilliance. Everyone said, *"Surely, God has great plans for him."*

But the young man had a secret weakness. Though he was gifted, he was lazy. He avoided hard work and thought his talent would carry him through life. Worse, he often lied, made promises he didn’t keep, and treated others with pride. His gifts opened doors, but his character slowly closed them.

He was once invited to lead worship at a large city church. His voice moved the crowd to tears. But behind the scenes, he came late, mocked others, and showed no respect for the church’s leaders. Soon, the invitations stopped coming.

Years passed, and Dan returned to his village, no longer celebrated. One day, he visited the old church and met Pastor Micah, who showed him a tree behind the building. It was tall and beautiful—but dead. “This tree grew fast,” the pastor said, “but its roots were weak. When storms came, they broke its strength from within.”

Dan looked at the tree, and his heart broke. He finally saw himself.

With tears, he prayed, *“Lord, forgive me. I’ve used the gifts You gave me, but I’ve not honored You with my life.”*

From that day forward, he began again—not with talent, but with humility. He worked hard, built back trust, and chose character over applause. In time, God used him in even greater ways—not because of his gifts, but because his heart had changed.

Dear reader, you should know that it's not enough to realise that you are talented or to have even discovered yourself. It's very important to develop a culture of hard work and pleasant character, diligently utilizing all that comes your way to remain at the pinnacle of success. Indeed, your gifts may open doors, but only character will keep them open. Faithfulness matters more than talent.

*Prayer*
Lord, grant me the wisdom to maximize my gifts to the fullest.

TOPIC: Value Your Giftedness, Make The Most Out Of It

Proverbs 18:16 - A man's gift makes room for him.

*Message*

God wants you to be vehemently successful. One of the many proofs of this truth is that there are so many things given in the Bible meant to empower you to experience true success in no small measure. In today's focus scripture (Proverbs 18:16), we were granted yet another important success key that works everywhere around the world.

A person's giftedness is God's natural resource granted to them to become exceptional and unique on earth, and they are then expected to be diligent in utilising the edge to make the most of life. In other words, you are not disadvantaged. God has blessed you with your gifts as an empowerment scheme to make you successful according to His standards.

As you utilise your gifts to get separated from the pack, you are celebrated and rewarded in unique ways - which can be in the form of acquisition of physical resources, amassing influence, fame, etc. You then should wisely steward these things to become eternally relevant, pleasing God.

To make the most of the proceeds of your giftedness, submit all you acquired under the LORD, giving Him glory and letting Him lead you in whatever way He desires. You will live in peace, experience true fulfilment, and become eternally wise.

*Prayer*
Lord, grant me the wisdom to maximize my gifts to the fullest.

TOPIC: Prayer Is A Big Divine Business

"Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand." Revelation 8:3‭-‬4

*Message*

Your efforts in the place of prayers are never a waste, even when it seems as if nothing is happening as you pray. Even if you aren't feeling anything spectacular while praying, great and amazing things are still happening in the high heavens on the strength of your prayers.

In his vision of heaven, Apostle John saw that the elders around the throne *“were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people” (Revelation 5:cool.*

We see from here that our prayers offered to God ascend as the smoke of the incense ascended in the sanctuary. Your prayers are doing awesome and indescribable things in the heavens.

You should see this in Revelation 8:3‭-‬4 - *"Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand."*

The fact that the incense was always burning means that we should always pray here.

So, the Apostle Paul wasn't making a religious statement when he admonished that we "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Considering the divine works occasioned by your prayers in the realm of the Spirit (which is bigger than you, as it is part of a bigger eternal project), you should always pray, knowing that your offerings of prayers are a serious investment in the realm that matters.

You see, the essence of prayer meant it should never be subjected to the weakness of your mood or feelings. The Old Testament priest must do his job irrespective of his mood. The believer, too, must offer incense of prayers regularly irrespective of his mood.

*Prayer*

By God, I pray at all times.

TOPIC: Just Pray

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not faint Luke‬ ‭18:1‬‬‬

*Message*

We can never place too much emphasis on the essence and significance of prayer, particularly for us as sons and daughters of God.

As a Christian, you must keep praying at all times. Prayer is a spiritual sacrifice, and there should be no day you shouldn't raise incense of prayer towards heaven.

In the Old Testament, you will see that in the Jewish community, incense, often associated with prayer (Psalm 141:2) was offered on the altar of incense in the Tabernacle and temple. Even in its imperfect form, this is a religious obligation God always expects from the people, which they too can't toy with.

Hence, you see in Leviticus 6:12‭-‬13 how the Old Testament priests were instructed that the fire on the altar must never go down:

*"And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out."*

So, when Jesus, in Luke 18:1 was placing strong emphasis on prayers when he said "Men ought always to pray and not to faint", he is sending a deep message across to us as spiritual people. If there is no continual offering of prayer, the fire dies. May your fire not die.

*Prayer*

Lord, strengthen me continually to be strong in the place of prayer.

I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. Philippians 4:12

Message

God is interested in the continuous spiritual growth of His children, and He is always excited to see us become better and better in our walk with Him. He wants you to get to that stage of maturity where nothing, good or bad, can shake your relationship with Him.

We are talking about a stage where whenever something good happens to you, it energizes your relationship with God, and even when something negative comes your way, it merely prompts you to stick closer to God for comfort and solution.

You know, when something unpleasant happens to some people, the devil takes advantage of their pain to ensure they start distancing themselves from God and even start hating Him. But if a Christian has attained a reasonable height of maturity, even if anything bad should come their way, these challenges would push them closer to the LORD and get them better in their spiritual walk with Him.

On the other hand, there are folks who allow a measure of success and achievements to take them away from God. We've seen and heard about Christians who were drawn away from a healthy relationship with God after they became rich, got a great job, got married, etc. But a reasonably mature believer is one whose successes would only energize them to cleave closer to God in gratitude, as well as an expectation for more of God's goodness.

The Will of God for you is that you should be unshaken in the midst of life's occurrences, either good or bad. But how can this be possible? "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13). Always draw nourishment from a healthy relationship with the LORD.

TOPIC: What If You Discovered All These Things Are True?

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last" Revelation 22: 12,13

*Message*

One of the strategies the devil has been using to prevent people from coming to the Light of Christ is to make them doubt the existence of God, the supernatural world, and the Salvation package; and to prevent them from being 'rational indeed'

For some people, after hearing preachings of spiritual truths from Christians, they keep their hearts hardened and conclude that there is no iota of truth in the claims.

"How can you say there is a God up there?", "Who created that God?" "It is a lie", "There is nothing like Heaven or hell", "It makes no sense", "It's all a lie"

But wait: What if all these are actually true. What if, after you die someday, you then discover that God actually exists and that He has actually prepared everlasting bliss in Heaven for those who accepted His Son Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior?

Look at it from that perspective: What if the preachers are actually right in regards to their preachings about Hell Fire?

If you claimed to be a reasonable person, and you failed to think in this direction at some point, then something is wrong somewhere.

Having such thoughts like this should prompt you into taking steps to be on the safe side. So, when you die, and you discover that God really exists and that He will judge you according to your works while on earth, you can be sure of justification.

How can you be on the safe side? Simply by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life. It's so simple. Pray to Him wherever you are now and ask Him to come into your life...

What if all these things are really true?

Remember, there are many Christians today who used to be staunch atheists. But the Lord Jesus revealed Himself to them, and they are now part of His fold.

What if all these things are true?

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last" Revelation 22: 12,13

[22] He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’

*Message*

We live in an interconnected world where the average young chap from a third-world country is well familiar with the rights enjoyed by their counterparts in first-world countries. One of the implications of this reality is that a lot of third-world chaps are hating on their society for denying them their "rights" and even taking up violent means just to "fight for our rights".

Nevertheless, to win in life, you should learn to focus more on your opportunities, and not what you called your rights. People and circumstances should not determine your identity and fate - you have the power to change your own life with your own hands irrespective of where you found yourself.

You should swallow the bitter pill that we live in an imperfect world. A constant struggle to "secure your rights" could always bring discontentment in your life, and you will always be angry and resentful. Such a lifestyle will keep blinding you to opportunities that could have been embraced to climb ahead on the ladder and become all that God has destined you to be.

In the parable of the Talents (Matthew 25), the guy given one talent by his Lord felt cheated and chose to blind himself to the immense opportunities and possibilities he could take advantage of to turn his fortune around with what he has. His ignorance didn't make him realize the fact that the tiniest opportunity or platform could make one a global phenomenon, which was what the guy given the two talents knew and took advantage of.

TOPIC: Grow Up!

Ephesians 4:15 NKJV‬‬ -
but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—

*Message*

We aren't aliens to such expressions (which can also be instructions, depending on the context, particularly if you did something childish), such as "Grow up". However, we should be more concerned about growing up in the things that truly matter. Sure, growth is beautiful and should be wholistically too. However, certain types of growth should be given more value and priority, particularly spiritual growth. You have a spirit, with a soul and a body, and in the order of importance, your spirit being comes first.

It is important to know that spiritual growth doesn't happen automatically. First, you must have a desire to grow and then discipline yourself to embrace the route of growth. It takes good efforts to grow spiritually, and you will do yourself a lot of good to be consistent as you choose to delight in your growth.

Make the necessary decisions to ensure spiritual growth, as nothing shapes one's life like the decisions we make. If you want to know where you will be in the next 50 years from now, just take a look at the commitments and priorities that rule your life. Every choice has consequences, so choose with wisdom.

*Spiritual maturity is beautiful. God is pleased with you, and you become a blessing to not just yourself, but those around you. A spiritually mature person is one panting after Christlikeness. Becoming like Christ is the result of making Christlike choices, and then relying on Christ to help you carry out those choices consistently.*

*Prayers*

Our world is ugly with dishonesty and self-centeredness. A lot of folks out there place selfish profit over prioritizing the well-being of others, and it is thus easy to settle for dishonesty to maximize these selfish profits. The implications always revolve around even much more ugliness in our world.

*When Jesus was about His earthly ministry, He advertised a product known as "Salvation" and highlighted the significance of His product without having to paint a distorted picture just to lure people to get it. After getting His product, every single beneficiary discovered that all of the advertised features were intact. For instance, we discovered how true it is that Salvation will enable us to have a righteous relationship with God again, and will even take us to heaven.*

‭‭
Ephesians 4:25 ‬‬
So discard every form of dishonesty and lying so that you will be known as one who always speaks the truth, for we all belong to one another.

*Message*

Jesus said we will know the truth, and the truth is embedded with a divine ability to empower us to flourish on the plain of freedom (John 8:32). However, due to an implication of the fallen nature of mankind, it is difficult for the average person to speak the truth at all times. Hence, a lot of us find it very cozy to simply slip into deception or some sort of "white lie" to bail ourselves out of some situations.

It is necessary to know that little lies have what it takes to get bigger faster than you think, and every human has the potential to compromise. Thus, it is important to take the hard route of always walking in and standing for the truth even in uncomfortable circumstances.

Therefore, it is profitable to always recommit to your walk with the LORD every morning before laying your hands on something else, as you spend some quality time alone with God in prayers and studying Scripture. By so doing, you are willing to align with the truth over darkness, and you set your spirit on fire to be awake to the promptings of the Holy Spirit throughout the day.

*No matter how uncomfortable it is, the truth always sets everyone free. But be prepared ahead, because if you will always be a truthful person, you are setting yourself against an ungodly world that believes truth can change based on new data, comparisons, circumstances, etc. Truth however is truth.*

*Prayers*
Ask the LORD for boldness to always speak the truth even in uncomfortable situations where you want to compromise.

TOPIC: What Must I Do To Be Saved?

Acts 16:30‬‬
And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

*Message*

Every right-thinking human that proceeded from the loins of Adam in every generation would admit to an in-depth feeling of blandness and an undescribable craving to hold on to a salvation stick that can only be extended by an unseen divine deity. Hence, almost every religion in all of history has a penchant for advertising a protocol of salvation that claims to guarantee a ticket to heaven or immunity from eternal damnation.

However, despite all of its fatal damages and activities on different pages of history, religion is weak. Even several most populated religions in the world are merely weak attempts to get to God. And when mankind asks the age-long question, "What must I do to be saved? most major religions simply hand over a book of rules that must be kept to get to heaven.

But in Acts 16, after a series of interesting activities, one of the descendants of the first Adam asked Paul who is already a representative and ambassador of Christ the last Adam, the very same question, "What must I do to be saved?".

Paul didn't start giving a long list of dos and don'ts, but simply told the truth: "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved." As far as salvation is concerned, believing in the finished works of Jesus is the root and foundation, as no amount of good works or morals is potent enough to get anyone righteous and acceptable in God's sight.

*Prayers*
Pray for an encounter with the Lord Jesus for as many out there yet to embrace Him as Lord and Savior.

TOPIC: Be Courageous To Kill Your Lions

‭‭II Samuel 23:20 NKJV‬‬
[20] Benaiah was the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man from Kabzeel, who had done many deeds. He had killed two lion-like heroes of Moab. He also had gone down and killed a lion in the midst of a pit on a snowy day.

*Message*

David was a very mighty man, and it is a highly reputable achievement to make the list of "King David's mighty men". Benaiah was able to emerge into this sacred rank, and we could see that a fundamental factor to becoming one of David's mighty men was the possession of great courage, and not just skills or strength or gifts.

Lions have mastered the skill of paralyzing their prey with fear before striking the first blow. But the man Benaiah confronted his fears and courageously defeated his lions.

Every one of us finds ourselves in spots that aim to paralyze our beliefs and convictions with fear. But the greatest courage is showing courage in the face of fear. As believers, after receiving divine inspirations and words from the Lord that ignited faith in us, as we make attempts to take those steps of faith, the enemy will usually send Lions of fear our way.

The absence of courage is why many people are living in stagnation, despite the faith flow they are constantly exposed to. You must be courageous and decide to beat the fears hindering you from becoming all that the Lord has destined you to be.

*When you are faced with unpleasant circumstances, like Benaiah, be a warrior and not a worrier, as you stand upon God's word to claim the victory already won for you in Christ Jesus.*

*Prayers*
Ask the LORD for grace and strength to always courageously pull down the strongholds of fear hindering you from fulfiling destiny.

TOPIC: How We Can Help Our Children Follow The Growth Pattern Of Jesus

‭‭‭
Luke 2:52 NKJV
And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

Message

Every reasonable parent surely desires children that would make them proud and happy in life. The easiest way you can have children who will grow into responsible and successful adults in life is to instil the fear of God in them right from childhood.

When a youth have the fear of God, he/she shuns wrong things that might soil the parent's names, but rather indulges in good and productive things that will make them happy and proud (Read Genesis 39)

Jesus has been in existence right from the foundations of the world (Revelation Chapter One Verse Eight). Then He decided to come to the world to die for man's sins and save us from hell. He was divinely placed in Mary's womb and came into this world like every other baby.

Despite being God in man, when He was still a Young Boy, He grew in the will of God. Despite growing around other kids that could have corrupted Him and made Him deviate from the Purpose of God for His life, He still followed God's Will accordingly, and guess what, He was successful!!

Do you also want your children to be God-fearing and successful in life despite how corrupt many young ones are today? Then do these:

- Lead your children to Jesus Christ at the very earliest stages of their lives.

- Teach them the Word of God regularly

- Always remind them of the Word of God again and again, alongside the consequences of going against the Word. Also, keep reminding them of the blessings associated with doing the will of God.

- You yourself needs to be a God-fearing born again Christian. Children prefer to follow examples than words. Your children are looking at you

- Pray for them regularly, and always pray at home

- Try to provide for their necessary needs so they won't want to venture into ungodly things just to get what they want.

- Take them regularly with you to Church and other good Christian gatherings. The tendencies are high that they would live to practice what they have learnt from childhood.

- Always discipline them appropriately when due

*Prayers*

Pray that the LORD will use our young ones for His Own Glory, and also for wisdom for their parents to bring them up to follow the growth pattern of Jesus.

TOPIC: The Strongholds In Your Mind

‭‭‭
II Corinthians 10:4-5 NKJV‬‬
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, [5] casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

*Message*

Your mind, which is a compartment of your soul, is a very strategic war zone where the enemy enjoys attacking. The enemy is aware that if he can build some strongholds in your mind cunningly and subtly, it becomes easier to prevent you from maximizing both the potential of your spirit being and your physical body, to become all God has destined you to be.

Some folks are healthy in their bodies currently, and things seem to be going fine too in their spiritual lives, but their mind are under constant attack without them knowing, as there are barriers the devil has cunningly planted there that they are not even aware of (some people will even spiritualize these barriers for justifying why they are holding on to it).

*Don't allow the mischievous enemy to place barriers in your mind, making you believe you can't go beyond a certain point in life. These barriers are meant to hinder your mind from dreaming beyond and reaching beyond. The devil is a liar! Even Jesus attested to this (John 8:44)! A liar and his lie can only have potent influence over you if you believe and act on their claims.*

*With God, there are no limits. You can do all things through Christ Jesus who empowers you, and you have a sound mind. You can go far and wide and beyond and God will use you too for amazing things.*

*Prayers*
In the Name of Jesus, I tear down any strongholds built by the enemy in my mind and thought life, hindering me from becoming all that God has destined me to be.

TOPIC: Why Hell?

and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 13:50

Message:

Ignorance is deadly. Hence, today, due to ignorance of the operations of spiritual and divine things, a lot of people have a penchant for making jokes about Hell Fire. For instance, there are jokes that portray the devil as a gentleman who gives people liberty to do what they desire in hell. And then funnier ones like: 'Corrupt people from so and so country are going to bribe satan to give them a conducive place inside hell fire'.

The danger attached to these jokes is that they encourage folks to take Hell with levity. But it shouldn't be handled casually since it's a vehicle to everlasting agony, pain, and torment! These things should send fearful shivers down to the spine of the average person. They should be scared of going to such a brutal place after leaving this world, and that fear ought to propel them to live a lifestyle that won't make you a candidate of hell fire

But why hell in the first place? Remember that one of the arguments against the existence of God is why would a so-called loving God permits people to languish in eternal torment.

Actually, hell is a place God has prepared for satan (rebellious Lucifer) and his demons (fallen angels). You see, the cunning Lucifer was able to pull some angels to his side to rebel against The Almighty God. And after the devil was banished from heaven alongside his cohorts, their punishment is to be eternally doomed inside the fire that never quench (see Jude verse 6, Revelation 12: 7-13, Mark 9: 47, 48)

Now, you should understand that the LORD is a God of justice and order. The realms He made were configured to operate via divine standards and principles. When God created the world, He made it with purpose and principles. There are certain principles that govern the universe, which God won't want to interfere with (God made them so in the first place).

One of these principles is: What A Person Sows, Is What They Reaps. If you sow a corn, you reap a corn (and not mangoes). If you sow wickedness, you reap the bitter rewards of wickedness. If you live a reckless lifestyle of sin, you reap the bitter rewards of sin (which is death, according to Romans 6: 23)

Why do we punish lawbreakers? Why do we send to jail thieves and murderers? Aren't we all humans? That is it! It is absurd giving the same rewards to a lawbreaker and a law-abiding citizen. A law-abiding citizen would be praised while a lawbreaker punished. This is not wickedness, it is simply one of life's principles: What You Sow Is What You Reap!

Prayer
Today, intercede for folks whose feet are still on the path that leads to hell.

TOPIC: Chase God's Heart (Part 2)

As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. Psalms 42:1

*Message*

Following a careful study of the man David, you will also see how he followed God wholeheartedly. Here is a man who was found to have a penchant for placing God's will above his own. King David was always interested in the things of God, so much so that he couldn't hold back his excitement when it was about going to the house of God and his deep affection for the place.

Also, David stood out as a man always eager to know God's will before he took any steps. In 1 Samuel 30, we read some profound stuff there. So, while David and his men were out of town, the enemy army invaded their space, burnt down everything, and took their wives and children away as captives. When David and his men returned, they saw the devastating situation and everyone started wailing. And while David himself also needs comfort, since his family was also kidnapped, this was what happened:

"David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters." I Samuel 30:6

Just imagine that! In such a hostile condition, he should simply have hurriedly mobilized his warriors to instantly chase the enemy. But rather than angrily chasing after the enemy at that point, he decided to chase after God's heart to know God's will. He strengthened himself in the Lord his God and, "David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.” (vs8).

So, if God had told David, "No, wait till tomorrow", David would have still obeyed God even if it meant being stoned by the people. He would rather obey God than be popular and loved by the people, unlike Saul who was vehemently concerned with pleasing his subjects over pleasing God.

Dear believer, like David, God expects that you give Him your all at all times and ensure you place your will under God's will every day. Whatever God wants becomes what you want; anything God doesn't want, you ignore.

So, if you have an interest in pursuing something (a career, relationship, etc) and God said 'I don't like this', then you have to drop such pursuits. And on the other hand, if you don't have an interest in something and God says 'I want you to go after this', then you need to go after it. These are the things David did in his successful attempts to pant after God's heart.

*Prayers*

I'm helped of God to subject my will to God's at all times. In Jesus Name.

And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’ Acts 13:22

*Message*

David is always a role model, and he is one of the most important personalities we see in the Bible. Here is a common shepherd who rose to become Israel's greatest king; he became a Patriarch who is worthy of emulation even today.

We see God repeatedly referring to David as a man after His own Heart. This is profound since it came from the mouth of the LORD Himself directly. The fact that he could achieve such a feat in spite of the limitations of his dispensation is something that should make this ancient Jewish king a good man to study even in our contemporary dispensation as Christians. Hence, if we give good attention to some of the things he did that earned him that honorable divine title, Christians today can learn a thing or two.

Check through the pages of the scriptures, and it will become glaring that David properly positioned himself to win God's heart by his faithful commitment to keeping God's commandments. "...and yet you have not been as My servant David, who kept My commandments and who followed Me with all his heart, to do only what was right in My eyes." I Kings 14:8. David was a dogged lover of God's law and he made God's law his close companion.

When the children of Israel were yet to enter the promised land, even many years before David was born, God knew His people would demand a king someday, and He gave them certain principles for kingship (Deuteronomy 17:14-20). Amongst other things, the LORD instructed:

“When he sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write for himself a copy of this law in a book, from the one before the priests, the Levites. And it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the Lord his God and be careful to observe all the words of this law and these statutes, that his heart may not be lifted above his brethren, that he may not turn aside from the commandment to the right hand or to the left, and that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children in the midst of Israel."

Whilst a man like Saul and several other Jewish kings didn't take this seriously, King David carefully adhered, and it contributed greatly to his success as a king, as well as his relationship with God.

As Christians today, we need to know the importance of heeding God's word and doing His Will in our day-to-day living. While God loves everyone in Christ Jesus, those who are committed to obeying His commandments passionately at all times have a unique spot in His heart. And following King David's footsteps, you need to be a lover of God's word (both the written Word and the spoken Word).

*Give great priority to studying the bible regularly. Always ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand and live by it, and you are on your way to having a unique spot in God's heart like David.*

*Prayer*

Today, ask the LORD for a deeper craving for His word.

And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 24:31

*Message*

Immediately after the rapture, the Great Tribulation will begin, and the Antichrist will be given the power to torment those left behind. The Antichrist will force people to receive the mark of the beast (666) either on their forehead or arm.

Those who won't receive it would be vehemently tormented: They won't be able to buy and sell, and they will suffer violent persecutions with no one to help. According to the graphic illustration given by the Lord Jesus about the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:15-28), many won't be able to withstand the torments for long (that is, they can't help but receive the mark of the beast)

Those who will receive the mark of the beast will be eternally damned in the lake of fire at the appointed time.

Don't forget that while the tribulation is taking place on earth, the Saints that have been raptured are with Jesus Christ in the sky enjoying the marriage supper as well as their rewards.

Then, at the end of the marriage supper in the sky and the Tribulation on earth, THE SECOND COMING will take place.

The Second Coming is the public revelation of Jesus Christ, when He comes WITH HIS SAINTS (those who have been previously raptured and have participated in the marriage supper in the sky) to set up the Millennium (see 1 Thessalonians 3:13 and Matthew 24: 29-31)

Here, those who have suffered just because they won't take the mark of the beast during the Great Tribulation, will now have a new hope.

Dear reader, Jesus said the day and hour of these events are not known but will happen anytime, and it will come like a thief in the night. He gave us some signs we should watch out for, and if you look at the scriptures, you will see the signs keep coming to pass.

That means, if Jesus Christ can predict those things and TRUELY, they keep coming to pass, then His promise of the rapture and second coming will also come to pass!

So, if you are yet to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, please do so now, as tomorrow might be too late.

For we who are already Christians, always retain the consciousness that Jesus will return one day, and let this guide you towards godly conduct at all times. The LORD comes.

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. I Thessalonians 4:17

*Message*

There is a supernatural flight that is upon us, it is known as the Rapture of the Saints. True Saints in Christ, both dead and living, will be supernaturally transported to a place in the skies where we will have a great deal of fellowship with the LORD Jesus.

Of course, it is obvious that many believers today are not even acquainted with the doctrine of the Rapture and the Second Coming. This ought not to be so. As a Christian, this is one of the things about our faith you must be so sure about, and you must be able to teach others when necessary too.

First of all, we need to know that The Rapture and The Second Coming are two different events that will happen at different times.

The Rapture (from the Latin verb 'rapere', which means 'to transport from one place to another') is the catching up of all believers for a glorious meeting with Christ in the air. In 1 Corinthians 15:51-53, Paul, by the Holy Spirit, revealed:

"Behold I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."

So, The Rapture comes first and is an event whereby the Lord Jesus comes for His Saints (dead and living), and we shall meet Him in the air.

The Saints are those who have accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of their lives and are living to please Him in spirit and in truth. The Saints are those living a CONSISTENT holy and godly lifestyle, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. They are the ones who will be transformed to meet Jesus in the air, while unbelievers (including folks who claim to know Christ but are actually not His) will be left behind.

After the rapture, the Saints will proceed into the sky to participate in the marriage feast of the Lamb, where rewards would be given to everyone present according to his/her deeds on earth. You must not miss this important meeting, please.

*Prayer*

Ask the LORD to help you live for Him in an acceptable manner.
