Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(20th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Sweet Voice John 10:4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. *Message* It's a good thing to seek to know the sweet voice of God before you entertain the ideas of others. Of course, there will always be voices and opinions all around you, but God's opinion must always be prominent and paramount. Other voices, ideas, and opinions are weak and myopic when placed side by side with God's, the great Creator of all who is all-knowing and all-powerful. If someone dear to you is passing through some rough times, rather than always listening to their complaints and frustrations, you should seek the sweet voice of God over their lives, and let God use you as a channel to dispense the sweet fragrance of His words to them, for comfort and edification and direction. Always remember that you are not responsible for the happiness of others. Learn to hear from God before you consider the needs of others. Strive to hear the sweet voice of the Lord before seeking the approval of others. This is important because you will come across folks with an agenda, and they will try to manipulate you to bend toward a particular direction that may be contrary to God's perfect Will. Hearing God will always help prevent you from falling into the trap set by mischievous folks. *Before you make any significant change, you should hear from God. Always remember that it's not our job to decide what God wants us to do - ours is simply to discover God's Will and then do it.* *Prayers* Dear Father, I give priority to Your sweet voice over everything else. *Further Reading* Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(19th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Grow Into An Exemplary Mentor And Model Too John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. *Message* Jesus was (and is still) the perfect role model. He encouraged His disciples to follow His steps and they will be empowered to do the works He did and even much more. Anyone of us who desires to get to the fullness of our God-given destiny should always trust God for the right mentors and role models. Those ahead of us are meant to make the journey easier for us. As you grow, you should also attain the stature where you can mentor those coming behind you too, and they can also regard you as a role model, following your footsteps to make life easier for them too. Believe in the potential of someone God has connected you with, even when they are yet to take a pleasant shape and commit yourself to helping them be successful. *As a mentor, you have to be vulnerable and transparent before those looking up to you, and share not only your successes and strengths but also your failures and weaknesses. If you are helped to succeed, you too must help someone else to succeed. Devote your time to standing behind someone you are ahead of already in life, and help lift their hands to soar above you.* *Prayers* Dear LORD, help me enlarge my capacity to be used by You to lead others into destiny fulfillment *Further Reading* Acts 5:12 NKJV [12] And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(18th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Maintaining A Positive Mindset During A Storm James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, *Message* Everything was going smoothly with Job until he experienced a brutal storm that changed the smooth ride into a tough and rough reality. Job probably has seen people who have witnessed brutal calamities unexpectedly, and deep down, he keeps hoping he won't find himself in similar situations. But lo, the storm came for him too, but fortunately, he was able to maintain a positive mindset that earned him some accolades when calm eventually came. *Listen, storms were only designed to be temporal. Yes, we all know, that even for the seemingly strongest amongst us, life storms can be annoying and uncomfortable with all its uncertainties and worries. But you must not idolize the storms of life by giving it too much of yourself. Let, instead, your gaze be continually fixated upon the Lord. He is not just eager to take you out of the storm (or to calm the storm), but very interested in you having a good report and testimony when calm returns.* When you sustain a positive mindset, you will easily see reasons to be grateful to God even while the storm is raging hard. For many folks, their souls usually don't thrive when all is always well and good. The heart can grow complacent, their prayer life gets weakened, they no longer pant for God as they used to do before they entered their promised land, etc. Hence, an occasional blast of storm can be useful in shaking things up to learn God experientially. *Prayers* Ask for strength to trust God in the midst of any storm of life. *Further Reading* Mark 4:39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(17th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Do You Really Know Yourself? Deuteronomy 8:2 And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. *Message* Everyone pass through seasons of tests in varying intensity and frequencies. You must understand the fact that as humans, we are on a continuous journey of discovery, particularly self discovery. You don't even know one-tenth of yourself or what you are capable of doing, even if you are 60-year-old already. Look at Adam, when created in innocence and was enjoying koinonia with the Lord, he would never had thought that he has the capacity inside of him to purposefully disobey God when he finds himself in a particular situation. Even David, a man after God's heart who loved the people vehemently, he would never have thought he had the ability to not only cheat one of his subjects, not to talk about getting him killed unjustly. It is thus necessary to pass through certain circles so you could see yourself in a newer light and work better on yourself and character. The children of Israel, when set free from Egypt by the LORD, thought they will naturally always stay knitted with Him in gratitude, until they passed through the wilderness, and discovered their hearts weren't right. *When you pass through periods of testings (which can be a wilderness experience or one of ease and comfort) and you failed in upholding good character, then you must decide to work on yourself to become better, rather than settling for being disappointed in yourself. Ask God for grace and help to become better as a person, and there will always be newer opportunities to prove yourself in an acceptable manner.* *Prayers* Ask for strength to please God at all times. *Further Reading* James 1:2 NKJV My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(16th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: How Is Your Thought-Life? (Part 2) I Samuel 16:14 But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him. *Message* When a person begins to think differently, they begin to feel differently. If you can get a person to begin to cultivate only positive thoughts irrespective of what's happening outside, they will easily become a positive person. Different people have to deal with negative thoughts at different points. However, you will do yourself a lot of good to be vehemently strong and discipline yourself well enough to ensure negative thoughts don't become a pattern inside of you. Negative thoughts have the capacity to grow, weakening you slowly like a terrible poison, until you become its broken slave. *To be a genuinely healthy person, you have to be strong enough to take captive any negative thoughts and bring them into obedience to Christ (how Christ thinks). This is why you must be very familiar with how God thinks via constant study and meditation on His word. Always think like Christ because you have the mind of Christ.* *Finally, submit your thoughts to the LORD at all times and allow Him to approve or replace what you permit in your thought-life. He knows what you think about at all times, and He wants you to always offer your thought-life to Him as a sacrifice that pleases Him. Give God full control of your mind!* *Prayers* Pray for those suffering from chronic depression out there. *Further Reading* Proverbs 12:25 NKJV Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(15th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: How Is Your Thought-Life? (Part 1) Psalms 94:19 TPT Whenever my busy thoughts were out of control, the soothing comfort of your presence calmed me down and overwhelmed me with delight. *Message* Your thought-life is a strong parameter to really determine how healthy you are, spirit, soul and body. Hence, it is helpful to make some comments about this very sensitive aspect of you, even in today's devotional. First, you are responsible for the operations of your thought-life - your thoughts belong to you. You have the ability to determine if or not you want a particular thought to linger on your mind. You conceive thoughts, and you interpret them. You accept a thought, or you reject it. Secondly, every one of us must know that we only become what our thought-life makes us. Your circumstances on the outside are not as powerful as you think - it is your thoughts about what's happening around you that shape you on the inside (including producing your emotions) and determine your disposition and posture. A person's thoughts trigger a chain of reactions in their body that determine their feelings (and how long such feelings will last). *Irrespective of what is happening around you, if you maintain the posture of a winner and a fortunate person in your thought-life, you will always become one on the outside. When unpleasant circumstances are not able to break your thought-life and turn you into a loser on the inside of you, then those tough circumstances can never overcome you - they will eventually bend into the picture you have of yourself inside of you.* *Prayers* Pray for those suffering from chronic depression out there.

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(14th April, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Feed And Nourish Your Heart With A Sumptuous Meal Proverbs 12:25 Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad. *Message* In Proverbs 4:23 scripture reveals and instructs: "Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life." This shows the importance of ensuring the well-being of the heart at all times since it is a cardinal source that determines your lot in life. God has a sweet Heart, and that's why He can't help but be sweet, even when His creatures don't deserve anything good. Sweetness emits from His Heart. Hence, He always enjoys being sweet, and depression can't stick. After Lucifer was banished to the earth realm (Revelation 12) and subsequently, the Fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden, the peaceful and pleasant operating system of the earth was tampered with, and the foundations of the fallen earth were injected with darkness (anything that would frustrate the original intent of the LORD). Hence, the earth, amongst other things, started emitting fear, leading to anxiety, which can lead to depression. *As a human living in this fallen world, the arrows of fear and anxiety are being continually shot towards the direction of your heart, and the end goal is to get you hopeless and depressed. However, the scripture already empowered us on how to make the heart immune to these things: "..a good word makes it glad." In other words, a good word is the perfect meal to keep feeding your heart with for genuine gladness.* *Now, a good word can only come from the mouth of a good person. God is a good God and He speaks only good words. Hence, make sure your heart is always positioned to receive His words at all times, which can come via various methods, like directly, through scriptures, from the mouth of a brethren at church, etc. The Word of God is a sumptuous food that helps provide the needed nutrients for your heart.* *Prayers* Pray for those suffering from chronic depression out there. *Further Reading* John 3:29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(13th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Depressed? I Samuel 16:14 But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him. *Message* Under the Jewish Old Testament dispensation, Saul made history as the very first ordained King of the Jewish people who received the anointing of the Spirit of the LORD for leadership. However, he soon made some errors that made the Anointing lift from off him: "But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul..." (I Samuel 16:14). When that happened to Saul, it sent a signal in the realm of the spirit of a vacuum, and an evil spirit quickly latched upon this opening to disrupt the forsaken king. What has happened? Saul opened the door to satan who started plundering and ravaging his life with anxiety, depression, and fear. He soon became a miserable man. *A lot of people out there are suffering from depression and deep anxiety with fear. But like in the case of Saul, you will discover that the devil is the culprit, and they ignorantly gave him access to their lives. Listen, pride and disobedience always allow satan to invade your thoughts and emotions. It's always nasty when this happens, and if it lingers, you can always feel depressed and hopeless*. *Unfortunately, some folks at this time try to find relief in money, work, sex, drugs, work, etc. All of these only offer brief relief, and soon, you face the nasty emotions again. What then is the permanent solution? Simply humble yourself and align your will with God's Will. When you do this, you are empowered to resist the devil, and he will flee from you, running off with all his dirty packages.* *Prayers* Pray for those suffering from chronic depression out there.

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(12th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Trust The Fence Builder And His Fence Psalms 119:1 NKJV Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! *Message* A reasonable parent won't place their kid near a cliff's edge and watch them play as they want. Rather, they will ensure there is a solid fence that can restrict the kids from jumping into danger. The fence may hinder the children from fulfilling certain harmful desires as they crave more freedom, but it also enables them to play freely without fear. This is the same thing with God as He utilizes His Word. God is a very responsible Father, and He won't simply place and abandon His children in a nasty world and society without building a fence that should guide our inclinations and keep us safe from the dangerous systems and lifestyles birthed by the sinful nature of mankind. *Definitely, it gets to a time where some kids start wondering curiously what's on the other side of the fence. If such a child doesn't know or trust the one who built the fence, they will climb over and hurl deep down. So, we've got to know God, the fence builder, and trust Him. He created the fence via His word, not to keep us in bondage, but to empower us for liberty.* *In all your dealings with God, always remember Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."* *Prayers* LORD, help me to wholly know and trust that You always have my best interests at heart. *Further Reading* Psalms 119:6 Then I would not be ashamed, When I look into all Your commandments. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(11th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Practicing Successful Habits Daily (Part 3) Luke 4:16 [16] So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. *Message* In Luke chapter 2, we saw a 12-year-old Jesus doing certain things that amazed every adult familiar with the matter. He left the comfort of his family to spend three days in the temple just doing business with scriptures! Afterward, his parents found Him, and it was recorded: *"Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all these things in her heart." Luke 2:51* The next time we heard of Him, in the next chapter, He has grown into a 30-year-old Man. The scripture was silent about His life from 12 to 30, but we could tell a lot from the things we eventually see Him give Himself to when the light beamed on Him again. So, in Luke 4:16 it was made known that even while in His silent years, He already had some productive habits that revolved around spirituality - studying scriptures, fellowshiping in the synagogue, etc. It was even obvious that He had inculcated a strong prayer life long before He started His public ministry. *Jesus's success was also a product of practicing successful habits one day at a time. Each successful day, where He was able to connect with Zion for illumination and empowerment for the enforcement of God's perfect Will, culminated into a successful week, then a successful year, then a very successful existence - even as King in Eternity, He still lives to make intercessions (it's an habit already!)* *Prayers* LORD, help me to give myself wholly to successful habits that empower my destiny every day. *Further Reading* Luke 5:16 [16] So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(10th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Practicing Successful Habits Daily (Part 2) I Samuel 17:34 NKJV[34] But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, *Message* Take note of what happened as recorded in Samuel 17:33-37 - *[33] And Saul said to David, “You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.” [34] But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, [35] I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it. [36] Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” [37] Moreover David said, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you!”* First, Saul told David, this guy Goliath who was the national Best warrior of the Philistines didn't just become a dreaded fighter all of a sudden but had been practicing warriorship for many days since he was a very young lad. He has been doing that every day for many years, and the sum total of those daily successes culminated into the national stature he can now boast of. Nevertheless, David too has to intimate the king, "You might not know me yet, but I didn't just appear too. For a long time now, I've been practicing warriorship too in the wilderness, defeating wild animals all alone. In fact, my own uniqueness is not limited to the physical exploits obtained with human strength alone, but the fact that I've also been practicing how to contact the spiritual realm to move the hand of God in my favor." *As children of God with a mandate of showcasing God's glory via the instrumentality of dominion in our different spheres, we must always remember that the world and its stakeholders (who are still under the influence of the devil) would try to contend with us for the reins of leadership (which we must obtain if we are really going to be light and salt).* Many of these folks too have been practicing habits *Prayers* LORD, help me to be alive to the opportunities you have surrounded me with to make me a global phenomenon. *Further Reading* Genesis 24:63 NKJV [63] And Isaac went out to meditate in the field in the evening; and he lifted his eyes and looked, and there, the camels were coming. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(9th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Practising Successful Habits Daily (Part 1) Luke 4:16 NKJV So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. *Message* When you examine many truly successful people, you often see common parameters and patterns. Usually, their lives can be summed up by the series of successful years and seasons they experienced. A successful year is a sum total of many successful months. A successful week is a sum total of many successful days. When you consider the bible greats (the likes of Abraham, Isaac, David, Moses, Joshua, Paul, etc), you discover they didn't just become all they were all of a sudden. However, they took each day as seriously as possible, practicing successful habits that extend to weeks, months, years, and then lifetimes. Let's briefly take David as a case study. Before we were introduced to the man David in the bible, and before he had the chance to confront the opportunity that would announce him to Israel (killing Goliath), and before he gained the reputation of a sophisticated poet, psalmist, wise leader, warrior, prophet, etc, he has been quietly practicing the things that culminated into all of these for many years alone in the wilderness. *Start practising successful habits daily, starting with little tasks that play quiet roles in your overall destiny. It could be reading a chapter of the scripture, plus watching a video that enhances a particular skill/talent, plus praying for an hour, plus (keep filling them up). A successful day (where you were able to achieve the various tasks that add value to your spirit, soul and body) should be replicated again the next day until you can boast of a successful week, and a successful month, then a successful year, and then a successful lifetime.* *Prayers* LORD, help me to be alive to the opportunities you have surrounded me with to make me a global phenomenon. *Further Reading* I Samuel 17:34 NKJV [34] But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(8th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Power Of Your Daily Routine Matthew 25:22 NKJV He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ *Message* Your daily routine and habits may seem insignificant until they bring your feet to the door of a world-class opportunity on an unexpected day. As you begin to partner with the Holy Ghost for destiny fulfillment, He starts training you to be a creature of certain daily habits and routines (which you might find difficult at first). But as you keep up with those things, they will one day lead you to a door that will afford you the opportunity to give glory to God in a unique way. In Acts 3:1 it was recorded of Peter and John: *Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.* These men already built a routine around prayer and visiting the temple for prayer, and they had been quietly doing that for a long time. However, on this particular day, the day started off as if it were one of those usual days too, but something tremendous was already awaiting them. *And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; [3] who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. [4] And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” [5] So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. [6] Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” [7] And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. Acts 3:2-7* A simple routine of praying and going to the temple eventually paid off on an unexpected day. God used them to bring healing to the crippled man, and as a result, three thousand people were won to Christ and joined the church. Becoming great in God is not complicated nor hard - it simply begins with a daily habit and routine expected of a Christian. Read your Bible, pray every day, fellowship with other believers, and keep doing God's Will every day. Those daily routine will quietly keep stretching you, and one of these days will lead you into a situation where you will shine and bring glory to the LORD in a spectacular way. *Prayers* LORD, help me to be alive to the opportunities you have surrounded me with to make me a global phenomenon. *Further Reading* Matthew 25:27-29 NKJV [27] So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(7th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: He Has Interest In An Honest Doubter John 20:25 NKJV [25] The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” *Message* After Jesus was resurrected from death, His disciples witnessed some more splendid extraordinary signs and wonders that were beyond what they saw before that time. See John 20:24-28 - *[24] Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. [25] The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” [26] And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” [27] Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.” [28] And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”* Jesus walking through a closed door and suddenly appearing before them was pretty impressive quite right. But what was even more impressive was that He showed up to commune with a doubter like Thomas. Of course, being God, He knew the heart of men, as He wasn't even in the room 8 days earlier when Thomas doubted. *It is possible that some of the brethren would have thought Thomas was no longer fit to be an Apostle and was possibly backsliding. But Jesus is amazing. He recognized an honest heart and a soul seeking genuine answers, and He came. If you still have some doubts about certain things, go to the Lord too, and He will come quickly to help give you illumination that will make you also exclaim, "My Lord and my God".* *Prayers* Lift up any doubt you still harbor in your heart to the Lord today in prayer. *Further Reading* John 20:29 NKJV [29] Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(6th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Strongholds In Your Mind II Corinthians 10:4-5 NKJV For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, [5] casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, *Message* Your mind, which is a compartment of your soul, is a very strategic war zone where the enemy enjoys attacking. The enemy is aware that if he can build some strongholds in your mind cunningly and subtly, it becomes easier to prevent you from maximizing both the potential of your spirit being and your physical body, to become all God has destined you to be. Some folks are healthy in their bodies currently, and things seem to be going fine too in their spiritual lives, but their mind are under constant attack without them knowing, as there are barriers the devil has cunningly planted there that they are not even aware of (some people will even spiritualize these barriers for justifying why they are holding on to it). *Don't allow the mischievous enemy to place barriers in your mind, making you believe you can't go beyond a certain point in life. These barriers are meant to hinder your mind from dreaming beyond and reaching beyond. The devil is a liar! Even Jesus attested to this (John 8:44)! A liar and his lie can only have potent influence over you if you believe and act on their claims.* *With God, there are no limits. You can do all things through Christ Jesus who empowers you, and you have a sound mind. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(5th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Focus On Your Opportunities Matthew 25:22 NKJV [22] He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ *Message* We live in an interconnected world where the average young chap from a third-world country is well familiar with the rights enjoyed by their counterparts in first-world countries. One of the implications of this reality is that a lot of third-world chaps are hating on their society for denying them their "rights" and even taking up violent means just to "fight for our rights". Nevertheless, to win in life, you should learn to focus more on your opportunities, and not what you called your rights. People and circumstances should not determine your identity and fate - you have the power to change your own life with your own hands irrespective of where you found yourself. You should swallow the bitter pill that we live in an imperfect world. A constant struggle to "secure your rights" could always bring discontentment in your life, and you will always be angry and resentful. Such a lifestyle will keep blinding you to opportunities that could have been embraced to climb ahead on the ladder and become all that God has destined you to be. *In the parable of the Talents (Matthew 25), the guy given one talent by his Lord felt cheated and chose to blind himself to the immense opportunities and possibilities he could take advantage of to turn his fortune around with what he has. His ignorance didn't make him realize the fact that the tiniest opportunity or platform could make one a global phenomenon, which was what the guy given the two talents knew and took advantage of.* *Prayers* LORD, help me to be alive to the opportunities you have surrounded me with to make me a global phenomenon. *Further Reading* Matthew 25:27-29 NKJV [27] So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. [28] Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(4th April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Grow Up! Ephesians 4:15 NKJV but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— *Message* We aren't aliens to such expressions (which can also be instructions, depending on the context, particularly if you did something childish), such as "Grow up". However, we should be more concerned about growing up in the things that truly matter. Sure, growth is beautiful and should be wholistically too. However, certain types of growth should be given more value and priority, particularly spiritual growth. You have a spirit, with a soul and a body, and in the order of importance, your spirit being comes first. It is important to know that spiritual growth doesn't happen automatically. First, you must have a desire to grow and then discipline yourself to embrace the route of growth. It takes good efforts to grow spiritually, and you will do yourself a lot of good to be consistent as you choose to delight in your growth. Make the necessary decisions to ensure spiritual growth, as nothing shapes one's life like the decisions we make. If you want to know where you will be in the next 50 years from now, just take a look at the commitments and priorities that rule your life. Every choice has consequences, so choose with wisdom. *Spiritual maturity is beautiful. God is pleased with you, and you become a blessing to not just yourself, but those around you. A spiritually mature person is one panting after Christlikeness. Becoming like Christ is the result of making Christlike choices, and then relying on Christ to help you carry out those choices consistently.* *Prayers* LORD, help me to keep making Christlike choices in my everyday life. *Further Reading* Matthew 9:9 NLT [9] As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at his tax collector’s booth. “Follow me and be my disciple,” Jesus said to him. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(3rd April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Sell Your Products In Honesty Romans 12:17 KJV Provide things honest in the sight of all men. *Message* Our world is ugly with dishonesty and self-centeredness. A lot of folks out there place selfish profit over prioritizing the well-being of others, and it is thus easy to settle for dishonesty to maximize these selfish profits. The implications always revolve around even much more ugliness in our world. *When Jesus was about His earthly ministry, He advertised a product known as "Salvation" and highlighted the significance of His product without having to paint a distorted picture just to lure people to get it. After getting His product, every single beneficiary discovered that all of the advertised features were intact. For instance, we discovered how true it is that Salvation will enable us to have a righteous relationship with God again, and will even take us to heaven.* But remember, while advertising the product, Jesus also didn't hesitate to inform potential customers that they should anticipate certain challenges should they decide to get this product. For instance, he warned: “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake." (Matthew 24:9). *It doesn't matter what you do - as an entrepreneur, a professional in the corporate world, a sportsman, a minister, a politician, etc - don't be part of those who twist the truth just to make people buy the product, knowing fully well that the people will have better appreciate having full knowledge of all there is to your offerings, as it would have influenced their original decision.* God wants us to be honest, even to our own hurt. As God's representatives who want to experience His blessings, we have to do business His way. Your integrity will be remembered longer than your product. *Prayers* LORD, help me to embrace honesty even to my own hurt. *Further Reading* Leviticus 19:35-36 NIV [35] “ ‘Do not use dishonest standards when measuring length, weight or quantity. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(2nd April, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: After Easter We will not hide them from their children, Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. Psalms 78:4 NKJV *Message* Many of Jesus's immediate disciples were low-lifers who were not enviable as far as the most noble scheme of things in their society was concerned. However, after accepting Jesus's invitation of love, their intimate interactions with the love of Christ brought about eternity-relevant transformations, and they considered themselves grave ingrates should they hold back from witnessing Him. *Even after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus when they saw Him at Galilee, the atmosphere of commissioning, the Lord asked them to: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," (Matthew 28:19).* After Easter, despite how they were vehemently persecuted for their faith, even in the face of death, the voice of the LORD kept in their hearts was still burning within them, and they won't hold back their testimonies from a world that is destined to interact with the goodness of the LORD. If you are truly grateful to the Lord for His sacrificial love, then, after Easter, you should reciprocate by testifying His goodness to everyone. This is a potent manner to witness Christ. The purpose of your testimony of the Lord's goodness is to woo the world to taste of the Lord too and see that He is good. The world out there needs something genuine and real and true. This should make the job of witnessing Christ much easier for us, as you can achieve a lot by sweetly speaking of the goodness of the LORD to you via the economy of His endless love, emphasizing the fact that He is also ready to shower His goodness on anyone who will embrace His offer in Christ Jesus. *After Easter, you shouldn't hide the blessings God has bestowed on you through His love. Tell it to the world and implore everyone to come taste of His goodness too. Open your mouth and begin to testify.* *Prayers* LORD, help me to not hold back from testifying Your goodness to my generation. *Further Reading* However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(1st April, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Pleasant Things Still Happens At Galilee Matthew 28:10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me.” *Message* On a day like this, many of our churches organize services and programs revolving around the Galilee experience. It's wonderful, particularly as we familiarize ourselves with what truly happened at Galilee when Jesus's disciples met Him there on their own day. Matthew 28:16-20 *Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. [17] When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. [18] And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. [19] Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.* We can always embrace the Galilee experience every single day if our hunger is broad, as this is a spiritual affair. When we see Jesus every day, we are transformed into newer versions of glory. *At Galilee, we receive fresher revelation of who Jesus is and give Him unique worship and adoration based on the fresh encounter we have with Him. We will never be stale as far as our perception of Jesus is concerned.* *Every day, at Galilee, our faith receives rejuvenation that places us above unbelief and doubt. We open up ourselves to receive the imprint of His authority, which serves as a channel of empowerment that we utilize to power up our dominion destiny - having dominion over creation plus operating as a Prince in the spirit realm.* We are reminded yet again of the Great Commission, and we get fresh strategies for getting the world and its inhabitants saved and discipled to walk in the way of the Lord Jesus. *Prayers* Ask the LORD for a fresh encounter with Him today. *Further Reading* Matthew 28:7 And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Jesus is alive folks. Jesus loves you. ❤️ |
The best gifts a person on earth must have received must be eternal in nature (such gifts must have eternity-significance and relevance) and not subject to degradation by the corruption of this temporary imperfect world. The best gifts I received from the LORD were Eternal Life, served on the platform of His pure Love through faith in Christ Jesus, activated by the Holy Ghost. They opened the doors to several other divine gifts, including His ever soothing Presence that refreshes me and makes me immune from the pangs of this worn-out earth, as well as other spiritual gifts to be empowered for the work of ministry and promote the beautiful agenda of His glorious kingdom. Let me show you the significance of these gifts and commodities. John 3:16 says - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. First, God had offered to an undeserving world the gift of His pure Love. Take note of the fact that sin redesigned the destiny of the earth and its inhabitants to go the way of doom and perishing. There are two folds of perishing: 1. Perishing On Earth Characterized by continuous degradation of the quality of life, and being weak to become all that one has been destined to be. Look around your society, there are many folks perishing under the burdens of sin, satan, self, sickness, poverty, death, hell, and other negative stuff. 2. Perishing Into Eternity Once a person dies without doing the needful (making things right with God and accepting His offer of love), such will use his or her own legs to embrace the paths of being perished in hell and the lake of fire burning with brimstone (Revelation 19:20; 20:10, 15). God's Gift Of Eternal Life The antidote of having to subject oneself to the ugly paths of perishing on earth and into eternity is being injected with eternal life, through faith in Christ Jesus. Eternal life is the very life of God, and its composition is eternally potent to make you live above self, sin, satan, sickness, poverty, hell, curses, etc. What better gift is there to these? If you want to submit to Jesus, simply say this prayer: "LORD JESUS, I believe in my heart that You died for me and You raised on the third day for my justification. And so I confess with my mouth that You are my Lord and Savior. From today, I belong to the family of God. Thank You for giving me eternal life."

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(30th March, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Lonely Junction Of Destiny John 2:19 NKJV Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” *Message* When Jesus was born, there was immense joy in heaven and earth, so much so that the Angels couldn't keep the joyous party in heaven all to themselves, but had to stroll down to earth to celebrate with the inhabitants of earth also (Luke 2). His parents were happy, the shepherds were happy, the wise men rejoiced, as well as every spiritual person who knew who He was (Anna the Prophetess, Simeon, etc). Growing up, He started walking the road of destiny as consistent with His purpose for coming to the earth. Every day, it was an exciting display of power and wisdom, with thousands of people always around Him giving Him honor and worship. However, there came the junction on the path of destiny where the pain of death and loneliness must be embraced. He suffered alone and was buried alone. His body was laid into the tomb alone, and it was a loud shout of loneliness inside the cold tomb. While His body was lying cold in the grave, He had traveled alone to hell, a terrible place, to minister to its inhabitants and get as many people there saved. *Fulfilling your life purpose and destiny can be exciting, as it brings a sense of pure and divine fulfillment when done in God's perfect Will. However, always remember that like Jesus, there is a junction where it's just you alone, bearing your cross and death and loneliness. But this junction is the most beautiful part of the race, as it births something unique that will extend our relevance to all of eternity.* *Prayers* Ask the LORD for grace to stay true to His Will at the lonely junction of destiny. *Further Reading* Romans 6:5 NKJV For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(29th March, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Pain Of Death John 2:19 NKJV Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” *Message* "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain." (John 12:24). All through the scripture, God kept displaying His visionary qualities in no small measure, preparing well ahead of time so nothing catches Him unaware or unprepared. For instance, even before establishing the current heavens and earth, the Lamb of God had been slain from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13: , ensuring a divine sacrificial protocol that birthed a framework that will guard His creatures (whenever He will create them) from eternal damnation if they erred (and as if He knew, they eventually erred in the beautiful garden He placed them).*Jesus perfectly mirrored the necessity of sacrificial death (and the need to ignore immediate gratification) just to birth something more glorious in the future with eternal significance. The way of death is painful quite all right, and even Jesus, the Son of God, embraced the pain of having to destroy the status quo, just to birth a new dispensation that will reunite mankind back to God.* On this glorious Good Friday, you must be willing, like Jesus, to let go of whatever it is that is hindering God from birthing something eternally glorious through your life. It might be a relationship, a lucrative opportunity, a habit and lifestyle you find so cozy, etc. Embrace the pain of death, and you will be joyous to see the fruits in the coming day. *Prayers* Ask the LORD for grace to sacrifice all that need to be, just to birth what He intends for your destiny. *Further Reading* Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(28th March, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Nothing But The Truth Ephesians 4:25 So discard every form of dishonesty and lying so that you will be known as one who always speaks the truth, for we all belong to one another. *Message* Jesus said we will know the truth, and the truth is embedded with a divine ability to empower us to flourish on the plain of freedom (John 8:32). However, due to an implication of the fallen nature of mankind, it is difficult for the average person to speak the truth at all times. Hence, a lot of us find it very cozy to simply slip into deception or some sort of "white lie" to bail ourselves out of some situations. It is necessary to know that little lies have what it takes to get bigger faster than you think, and every human has the potential to compromise. Thus, it is important to take the hard route of always walking in and standing for the truth even in uncomfortable circumstances. *Therefore, it is profitable to always recommit to your walk with the LORD every morning before laying your hands on something else, as you spend some quality time alone with God in prayers and studying Scripture. By so doing, you are willing to align with the truth over darkness, and you set your spirit on fire to be awake to the promptings of the Holy Spirit throughout the day.* No matter how uncomfortable it is, the truth always sets everyone free. But be prepared ahead, because if you will always be a truthful person, you are setting yourself against an ungodly world that believes truth can change based on new data, comparisons, circumstances, etc. Truth however is truth. *Prayers* Ask the LORD for boldness to always speak the truth even in uncomfortable situations where you want to compromise. *Further Reading* John 8:32 For if you embrace the truth, it will release true freedom into your lives.” *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional (27th March, 2024) by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: What Must I Do To Be Saved? Acts 16:30 And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” *Message* Every right-thinking human that proceeded from the loins of Adam in every generation would admit to an in-depth feeling of blandness and an undescribable craving to hold on to a salvation stick that can only be extended by an unseen divine deity. Hence, almost every religion in all of history has a penchant for advertising a protocol of salvation that claims to guarantee a ticket to heaven or immunity from eternal damnation. However, despite all of its fatal damages and activities on different pages of history, religion is weak. Even several most populated religions in the world are merely weak attempts to get to God. And when mankind asks the age-long question, "What must I do to be saved? most major religions simply hand over a book of rules that must be kept to get to heaven. But in Acts 16, after a series of interesting activities, one of the descendants of the first Adam asked Paul who is already a representative and ambassador of Christ the last Adam, the very same question, "What must I do to be saved?". *Paul didn't start giving a long list of dos and don'ts, but simply told the truth: "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved." As far as salvation is concerned, believing in the finished works of Jesus is the root and foundation, as no amount of good works or morals is potent enough to get anyone righteous and acceptable in God's sight.* *Prayers* Pray for an encounter with the Lord Jesus for as many out there yet to embrace Him as Lord and Savior. *Further Reading* II Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional (26th March, 2024) by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: You And Your Vision Habakkuk 2:2 Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. *Message* *A true vision is given by God and is one candid gift of His to empower you toward greatness. Since He is however a Big God, He only does big things. Hence, a God-given dream will always look bigger than you. You can always make it plain as you write it down and diligently brood over it, seeking divine strategies to carry out your vision effectively and efficiently.* When God gave Moses the vision of taking His people out of Egypt, it seemed so big to Moses that he tried persuading God to change His mind and transfer the vision to another 'worthy man' (Exodus 3 and 4). Unknown to Moses, even the most worthy man on earth at that time would instantly find himself unworthy to birth and run with such a seemingly impossible vision at that time, particularly due to the fear of Pharaoh. However, God helped Moses see that it's not as complicated as it seems, and with divine strategies exposed to him, he was able to achieve the vision like a boss. This was the same with Joshua - Jericho looked too big for the warrior, and the likes of David - Goliath looked too big for the shepherd boy. But as they receive divine strategies on how to accomplish these seemingly impossible God-given dreams, it becomes as plain as possible, and it becomes a ladder towards eternal greatness. *Prayers* Ask the LORD for divine strategies to accomplish the great dreams and visions He has given you. *Further Reading* Psalms 27:13 NKJV I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(25th March, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Be Courageous To Kill Your Lions II Samuel 23:20 NKJV Benaiah was the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man from Kabzeel, who had done many deeds. He had killed two lion-like heroes of Moab. He also had gone down and killed a lion in the midst of a pit on a snowy day. *Message* David was a very mighty man, and it is a highly reputable achievement to make the list of "King David's mighty men". Benaiah was able to emerge into this sacred rank, and we could see that a fundamental factor to becoming one of David's mighty men was the possession of great courage, and not just skills or strength or gifts. Lions have mastered the skill of paralyzing their prey with fear before striking the first blow. But the man Benaiah confronted his fears and courageously defeated his lions. *Every one of us finds ourselves in spots that aim to paralyze our beliefs and convictions with fear. But the greatest courage is showing courage in the face of fear. As believers, after receiving divine inspirations and words from the Lord that ignited faith in us, as we make attempts to take those steps of faith, the enemy will usually send Lions of fear our way.* The absence of courage is why many people are living in stagnation, despite the faith flow they are constantly exposed to. You must be courageous and decide to beat the fears hindering you from becoming all that the Lord has destined you to be. *When you are faced with unpleasant circumstances, like Benaiah, be a warrior and not a worrier, as you stand upon God's word to claim the victory already won for you in Christ Jesus.* *Prayers* Ask the LORD for grace and strength to always courageously pull down the strongholds of fear hindering you from fulfiling destiny. *Further Reading* Psalms 56:3 Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(23rd March, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Sweet Things Of God's Blessings (Part 2) Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it. *Message* The blessing of God also comes with a prospering hand, where all you lay your hands on prospers greatly. We have been always told that we must be very hard-working to have abundance. But we must be very careful. Scriptures say it is the blessings of God that make rich and adds no sorrow. When it is about being diligent in what you are meant to do, then it's rightfully consistent with biblical principles. However, if hardworking denotes devoting a very large chunk of time and energy to make money at the expense of other crucial aspects of your life, such as your relationship with God and your service to Him, your health and well-being, your family and loved ones, etc, then it's bad, as you are living below your potentials and God's Will for you. *God's Will is that whatever He has given you the grace to do ( business, career, ministry, etc) you will prosper greatly in it, live in abundance, and still have sufficient time to serve Him, sufficient time to take good care of yourself, and for your family and loved ones.* Don't waste your life hustling like a person still under the curse, but embrace the blessings of God that make you prosper in whatever you do. *Prayers* Ask the LORD to help you position yourself for an outpouring of His blessings. *Further Reading* "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with GOD and men." Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(21st March, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Practise Kingdom Principles Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. *Message* It is possible to be committed to the things of God and still live below your potential. There have been people who gave their time and energy to GOD and His works, and they still lived their lives being traumatized by creation, under poverty, sickness, curses, etc. Usually, this is because they are ignorant of the things they should have known that would have given them the dominion they deserve. *The LORD Himself said "My people perish for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6). Emphasis on 'My people'. Meaning, they are His, but they still end up on the path that is not God's Will for them, because they failed to recognize the knowledge they should have engaged. And while GOD is not happy with this, it's not His fault.* It's possible to be a committed Christian and still be as poor as a church rat, or be battered by sickness, particularly if the person failed to engage necessary principles already put in place by GOD. It's one of the importance of devoting yourself to learning specific principles from God's Word that can empower your advantage on earth. Sure, when a person is so committed to the things of God, even while ignorant of certain important kingdom principles, the Spirit would faithfully play His role in drawing your attention to these things. He will even make attempts to give you instructions just to ensure you engage these principles. But then, it's left to you to put your hands on them. *Prayers* As you explore God's Word today, ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to what kingdom principle you should give greater priority to in this season of life for your empowerment. *Further Reading* "Give, and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be put into your bosom. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(20th March, 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: What Happens When You Give To A King? Matthew 2:11 And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. *Message* When you give to a King, you make him obligated to outgive you. This is a kingdom principle that even the ancient earthly kingdoms understood. We saw this in the case of the Queen of Sheba and Solomon. She gave huge gifts to Solomon, which naturally placed pressure on Solomon to prove that he is a superior king, by giving her more (and which he did). *GOD is the KING of kings. When we (who are kings in the Kingdom) give Him gifts, He is obligated to show that He is a superior KING by giving us much more than we gave Him.* Hence, cultivate the good habit of giving God quality gifts. The gift reveals the value and worth you put on the king. Give Him your time, money, talents, everything. *"Give, and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you" Luke 6:38.* The more the quality of your gifts to GOD, the more you can expect from Him. Remember, giving to a king acknowledges his ownership of everything. *Prayers* LORD, help me to be a doer of the things I've seen this morning from your Word. *Further Reading* "Give, and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be put into your bosom.
