TOPIC: How God Transformed John Newton

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?

*Message*

John Newton (1725-1801) was a strong atheist and blasphemer. As a young man, he was a bully, usually angry and wild. When he turned 18, he was forced into the Navy. He was notorious for always breaking the rules and was often publicly flogged for desertion. Before becoming a slave trader, he was greatly despised and feared by his crewmates.

When he was 23, his ship one day encountered a terrible storm, and it almost sank off the coast of Donegal. While the ship was filled with water and there appeared no more hope, Newton cried out to God for help. On March 1748, God rescued him, and he began a new life.

John Newton started praying and reading the Bible. He eventually became a prominent light in the campaign to abolish the slave trade.

He is best known as the author of the hymn:
"Amazing Grace"
Amazing grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost but now I'm found,
Was blind, but now I see....."

Every atheist and hard unbeliever simply needs an encounter with God. Beyond giving them sermons and preaching to them, many stubborn atheists and unbelievers needs an encounter with God that will bring them into God's Kingdom. The LORD Himself must lovingly introduce Himself to them as He did Paul. Hence, we must keep interceding for them.

If you are currently an atheist or unbeliever, if you will open your heart, Jesus will come and visit you this week. And your life will never remain the same when you submit to the Lordship of Christ.

TOPIC: What Is God Telling You Right Now?

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

*Message*

A lot are usually eager to have access to divine information about themselves, and they try to be attentive to know what God has for them.

Perhaps, you have been wondering what God is saying about you and your current state. Of course, you are not alone! In fact, many have been wondering what the mind of GOD is concerning the world in such a time as this.

*You should know that GOD, being a loving Father who has our best interest at heart, is always speaking to us, as His voice is what we really need to live a life filled with pleasantness and blessings.*

*The problem is, many people don't pay attention to what God is saying, as the world is filled with several distractions put in place by the mischievous devil. Nevertheless, it is not difficult to know what God is saying as we have access to His Word (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Peter 1:19), and we have the Mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16).*

What God is telling you right now is that He wants you to know and remember that He loves you so much. He graciously made you well, preserved you to be alive till this day, and He even took a painful step to die for your sins.

*"For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).*

What GOD is telling you right now is that you should nurture an intimate relationship with HIM, as this is what will empower you to live a life filled with blessings and glory and dominion. This is possible through faith in Jesus Christ.

*GOD is telling you that very soon, He will come back to take the Saints home to heaven, and you must always be ready for Him when He calls. And if you are sure you aren't living consistently with His perfect Will for you, He is saying you should simply call upon His name and ask Him for mercy, and His love will compel Him to draw you into His blissful embrace.*

*Message*

Genuine love is also characterized by selflessness, and in the exploration of true love, you must arrive at a state that is devoid of selfishness if you will maximize the beauty of love. You shouldn't live for yourself alone but should strive as much as possible to make it a duty to show love to others around you.

*We learn love from God, who is Love. Now, you see GOD isn't self-centered. He loves others (unconditionally), and He always has our best interests at heart. This is one of the core things that fuels His pure beauty. And as His unique creatures, we must be like Him even in this regard.*

The truth is, our world would be a better place if everyone could love others genuinely. You become a better person (as well as a better Christian) as you love others genuinely. By so doing, you make yourself available to ensure the well-being of folks God has strategically placed around your space, and you are willing to make necessary sacrifices to do them good.

*Sacrifice is a language of true love. It is a channel through which any other form of sacrifice must be routed for potency and effectiveness. Paul made a very powerful statement: "And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing." (I Corinthians 13:3). Just imagine that! It doesn't matter the gravity of the sacrificial act, if it's not carried out from a standpoint of genuine love that genuinely seeks the welfare of the beneficiaries, it is just a big waste.*‬

TOPIC: Beauty For Ugliness

*Message*

Zion is God's special habitation, a glorious spiritual realm He enjoys sweet communion with His children. “So you shall know that I am the Lord your God, Dwelling in Zion My holy mountain." (Joel‬ ‭3:17). Hence, since God is a King of joy and perfection, nothing imperfect and ugly is permitted around His habitation.

As a believer, you are now the habitation of God through faith in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:22) and can be rightly regarded as a spiritual Zion. Since you host the King of Glory, nothing unpleasant is permitted to thrive around you.

Perhaps there is something going on in your life right now that is making you sad. Maybe there is a seed of sorrow the enemy has planted in your life (in your family, your home, business, etc), you shouldn't helplessly fold your arms and accept a reality that is not ordained for you.

*Heaven, God's administrative headquarters, is devoid of ugliness. You also, being God's Temple here on earth, must insist on a reality adorned with bliss and beauty at all sides.*

*GOD is not glorified in sorrow but in joy and pleasantness. He is always ready to make you a source of Joy too.*

In the name of Jesus, I uproot anything ugly and unpleasant planted by the enemy around me. As God's Zion, I live the rest of my life in joy and pleasantness, in Jesus Name. Amen.

TOPIC: Love, Lust, And Valentine's Day

*Message*

Valentine's Day is usually deemed a day of love in different parts of the world. But considering the carnality a lot of folks have attached to it, it is always necessary to have conversations revolving around separating love and lust.

In the Bible, we saw a strong man, Samson, who was raised by God as a Deliverer of his people. Unfortunately, he was drawn by lust to a dangerous woman whom he thought he loved and ended up destroying his glorious destiny on the lap of an enemy whom he thought loved him (Judges chapter 13 - 16).

God is Love, and since we were created in His image and likeness, it follows that we are also creatures of love, created to love and receive love. We all have the innate desire to love (to give and show love to others), as well as to crave to receive love from others (to be shown love in return). This is a characteristic of a normal person created in God's image and likeness.

However, the error of many lies with where they go to seek love, and what they fall in love with. Hence, many are in problem today because they fall in love with dangerous persons and things that were designed by the evil devil to carry out his evil mission - to steal, to kill and destroy (John 10:10).

Problem arises when you fail to channel your love to the right One - the True Lover. You are configured to love God your Creator first and above any other, and to receive love from Him above anything else. When you are saturated with God's Love and you find pure fulfillment inside of Him alone, it guides how you give love to those around you, and you are directed to like only the things He permits (which won't be harmful to you)

You can explore love inside of God (which is what you are destined to do) through faith in Jesus Christ. As you embrace Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, He sends a tangible Lover to your life - the Holy Spirit. As you grow in love with Him, He empowers you to keep attending to the business of love in the right way.

Stop seeking pleasure from sinful and harmful persons and places and things. They are polluted counterfeits of the original thing - that you enjoy pure pleasure in your relationship with the Lord Jesus. I'm inviting you into this peaceful life, as you surrender your life to Jesus today.

TOPIC: He Doesn't Entertain Rivalry (Part 3)

for you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. Exodus‬ ‭34:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

*Message*

A lot of things surrounding the creation and establishment of mankind reveal the immense love of God towards these unique creatures. Whilst He only spoke other stuff into existence, the divine Godhead had to come together to carefully make Man in His image and likeness. Unlike His dealings with the angelic beings, He displays deep affection towards the humans, in spite of their limitations.

I'm wondering what the Angels would be pondering the first time they see the LORD moving in the full regalia of His Glory toward Adam's corner on earth for fellowship. They are probably shocked that their Fearful King is showing this much affection to these humans.

Thus, you can imagine how heartbreaking it was when Man gave what belongs to God (his trust, affection, loyalty, obedience, etc) to the devil. Since God won't condescend to the devil's low level in fighting for Man's attention, He simply asked Adam "Where are you" (Genesis 3:19)

In other words, Man, "Where lies your trust and faith, I or someone else?" "Where do you stand, on my side or elsewhere "?

*This is the same thing the Lord is asking us today. Where are you? What do you really trust and believe in? Some of us believe in our resources more than God. When some Christians feel sick, they first turn to their doctors! When some folks have issues, rather than first talking it out with the Lord, they first discuss it with other humans they believe can help them out. Stop making God jealous.*

*It's a good thing that God is jealously trying to prevent you from giving what belongs to Him to something else. This was something Lucifer never enjoyed, and he became eternally doomed. If God is punishing you in some way for idolatry (putting something or someone else above Him), then you are very fortunate. All you have to do is make amendments, and all will be well again.*

*Prayers*
Plead with the LORD to help reveal anything outside of Him that has become a god to you, and should cut off the same immediately.

TOPIC: He Doesn't Entertain Rivalry (Part 2)

*Message*

When God informed His children that He is a jealous God (Exodus 20:5), the expression here is different from the sin of jealousy. In Galatians 5, from verse 19 when the Holy Spirit through Paul was highlighting the sinful works of the flesh, one of the things mentioned in verse 20 was "jealousies".

The sin of jealousy is when you are envious of another person who has something you do not have. But when it comes to God, He has everything and can never be deficient in anything good. He owns all things, and everything anyone has came from Him. So, He can't be jealous or envious because someone has something He wants or needs.

When you check the context of His proclamation, from verse four of Exodus chapter 20 to the fifth verse, He says:

*“You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God...”*

*So, the issue here is when you give to another something that rightly belongs to Him. Whilst you might not have a graven image you bow to today like in those former times, if you worship or serve anything other than God (you place anything before Him, and you are always ready to satisfy anything or anyone else contrary to God's Will), you are still practicing idolatry and it is a sin.*

*God is possessive of the worship and service that belong to Him, and He is jealous when He sees you give what belongs to Him to another. This can be explained from the lenses of love because God can do without you.*

It is normal for a married person to be jealous seeing their spouse give the attention and affection that belongs to them to someone else outside their matrimonial home. Hence, God won't condone rivalry also, He wants you all to Himself. After all, He bought you with a price and redeemed you from eternal death. "For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." (I Corinthians‬ ‭6:20).‬ ‭

Every February 14 is Valentine's Day. While it is being celebrated in different ways by different people, one general and famous word attached to the day is "Love". So, it is believed that the whole idea is to celebrate 'love". But that's where the problem lies. For many, when talking about love, they are actually referring to lust, infatuation, and sex.

This is why a lot of folks equate Valentine's Day to a day of sex galore. And of course, Valentine's Day has become a tool used by the devil to plunder immoral people on the bed of sexual immorality, and he gains access to "steal, kill, and destroy" (John 10:10)

The truth is, you can't know how to show love if you don't know Love. God is Love. So you must first know God (Love) before you can know how to express true love. If you are not for Christ and you keep swimming in sin, you can't know God (i.e have an intimate relationship with God), and whatever it is you are calling love is not true (you can't give what you don't have)

So, whenever I hear cases where people that claim to be in love are still hurting one another (cheating, heartbreaks, guys raping their girlfriend, etc), I'm not usually surprised. You can't give what you don't have. Your partner can't show you true love if he/she doesn't have an intimate relationship with God through Jesus Christ (because your partner doesn't know how to). Anything such a person is calling love is simply false. Yes, a scam. Your unbelieving partner can't help but break your heart, because his/her nature is still perverted and self-seeking. Only an intimate relationship with Jesus can get us transformed.

How You Can Avoid Defiling Yourself On Valentine's Day

The kingdom of darkness lavishly saturates the atmosphere every February 14th with lust (having understood the significance given to it by imperfect humans). Hence, a lot of people find themselves defiling themselves either intentionally or not.

God's Will concerning sexual pleasure is that all forms of sexual pleasure should be shared only between a married man and his female wife in the safe confines of their marriage institution, with no other party involved.

Anything else outside of this is wrong, sinful, and harmful.

God frowns at sexual immorality, and there are great repercussions attached to sexual sins. Don't have sex with your boyfriend/girlfriend or your fiance/fiancee until you get married to them. If you have planned such this Valentine's Day, God is giving you an opportunity to destroy such plans (it's not a mistake that you came across this article), to avoid regrets. If your boyfriend/girlfriend or fiance/fiancee is insisting on sex, it means they are only after your body, and are not God's Will for you (so, wisdom demands you break free from such a relationship).


To avoid defiling yourself, yield to God's word and avoid sin of any type. When you have an intimate relationship with God through Jesus Christ, you will always be determined to please Him and obey all His commands. Also, avoid people, places, situations, and things that can lure you into dipping your hands in something bad.

TOPIC: A Friend With A Knife

"They zealously court you, but for no good" Galatians 6:17‬‬

*Message*

A friend with a knife is a description of a person who portrays themselves as friendly towards you but who is aiming at stabbing you fatally at any given chance. They are enemies putting on the cloak of a friend who has your best interest at heart.

*In 2 Corinthians 11:14, Apostle Paul exclaimed: "And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light." It is always a simple strategy that has proven potent again and again. It is easy for an enemy to infiltrate one's ranks when they make you embrace them as a friend since you are prone to let down your guards around them.*

In both verses 13 and 15 of that scripture, see what Paul said: ‭‭

*[13] For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.*
*[15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.*

In your spiritual community, there might be ministers of the devil who have transformed themselves into ministers of light with a mischievous purpose. This should explain why you see some spiritual leaders feeding the congregation with destructive doctrines and philosophies after earning the trust of the people.

This should explain why you see some leaders molesting members of a congregation after working hard to build a reputation amongst them. They are enemies portraying themselves as our friends but are positioned to fatally stab when not watched.

Around you, right now, you might have unknown enemies that you thought were good friends. They might be a colleague of yours, a leader over you, etc. One thing is sure, they act like they love and care about you. They are actually mischievous, gathering as much information as they can get before they strike.

Hence, it is necessary to ask the LORD to expose such persons and get them disgraced.

LORD, expose my enemies acting like my friends and cause a separation between us.

*Message*

Success is relative, but we have a measure of similarity as far as certain natural desired expectations are concerned, either individually or as a society. In other words, while the definition of success differs from person to person, and from society to society, we all aim towards certain specific results in life and destiny.

One thing we should always remember is that God, our Creator, is delightfully inclined toward helping us succeed in our endeavors. A good proof revolves around the fact that there are several parts of Scripture that gives light that guarantees success. One of them is Joshua‬ ‭1:8 -

*"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."*

You can also see Deuteronomy 28:13 where the LORD Himself promised to make His children the head and not the tail. It was established that for this to become a reality, you must *"heed the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you today, and be careful to observe them"*

*Success is pleasing God by doing His Will for your life. What the enemy does is to try as much as possible to influence your flesh to go contrary to the Will of God, and make you comfortable with results obtained outside of God's Will for you. The enemy wants you to live a substandard lifestyle because he has been subjected to an inferior lifestyle many years ago, and that's what he can relate to.*

If the devil fails in preventing you from going against God's Will, you are victorious indeed.

Ask the LORD for grace to only seek to thrive within the confines of His perfect Will for you.

*Message*

While there are several things to give your full attention and affection to, you will do yourself a lot of good for all of eternity if you invest your attention and affection in growing in love for God. Your day is productive if you are sure you took intentional steps towards growing in love with HIM, and you actually got closer to your Loving Creator.

We can barely do something eternally significant without the help of the Holy Spirit, and this is no exception. A lot of folks are trying to love God via the zeal of the flesh, but they keep getting exhausted and worn out, for obvious reasons. This is why many from different pages of history invented religion, trying to make use of religion to exhibit love to God - but they keep getting Him irritated instead.

There is a Way God wants to be loved. The first thing is to embrace His own Love - Jesus Christ, and the divine blessing of the Holy Spirit guides you on God's pathway of Love.

*Loving God and growing in love for Him is fulfilling. There is a very unique nourishment meant for the human soul that can only be obtained from sweet fellowship with the LORD in love. Before the end of today, be sure that you've grown some inches in your love walk with Jesus.*

The Christian faith can be an unending cycle of bliss and adventure. This is easily made possible via the availability of divine tokens embedded in the Life we received upon surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus. So, we receive the Holy Spirit and can give manifestations to His supernatural gifts:

*"for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, [9] to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, [10] to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. [11] But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills."*‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12:8‭-‬11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

However, as beautiful as these spectacular abilities and experiences are, just a few verses later, the Holy Spirit, through Apostle Paul, would take our attention towards the direction of "a more excellent way" (Vs 31) characterized by love and good characters.

The point is simple. Spiritual gifts are powerful, but the fruits of the Spirit should be given greater priority and importance, as they are more valuable than gifts.

As Christians, we are to be like Jesus Christ who excelled in character and love. One easy way to bring this into realization is by living a lifestyle that exhibits the fruits of the Spirit.

It's a good thing to enjoy being loved, being showered with love, and admired by others. A healthy human is meant to associate with others and have companions of different classes that they can do life and destiny with. Even Jesus had His closest companions (Luke 6:12-16; Matthew 17:1) who loved Him vehemently and would eventually die for the sake of His vision.

However, if we should be realistic, then we will agree that not everyone coming around us actually has good intentions towards us. Out of every twelve, there is usually at least one Judas Iscariot who is hanging around you for mischievous and selfish reasons. At times, such persons could have evil aims and can cause serious damage if they have the chance.

Judas came from Judea, just like Jesus, and because of this, no one would have expected him to be the one to betray Him. But hey, that's humans for you. The human mind is very deep. The average human is a great actor who can conveniently pretend to be what they are not. Someone can hate you vehemently and for many years, keep acting like your best friend and successfully pretend to have your best interest at heart when they are only after your downfall.

*Hence, you need God's help when it comes to choosing those you will allow into the circle of your closest companions. You need wisdom in identifying a person beyond what they portray themselves to be, so you won't be ignorantly dealing with an enemy posing as a friend - which is very dangerous.*

TOPIC: Taking Advantage Of The Supernatural

It is catastrophic to refuse to grow. If a child refuses to grow, the child is not only hurting its parents but is also exposing itself to constant health dangers. This is one good reason the mother Eagle ensures her eaglets are pressured into quickly evolving from a baby lifestyle to a mature lifestyle as soon as possible. A baby Eagle won't only fail to maximize its potential in that immature state, but is also at risk of being preyed upon.

As a child of God, God is delightful seeing you grow, and you hurt Him when you refuse to leave a babyhood level. But, you see, it's majorly for your own good to embrace growth. A baby believer will struggle to become all that God has destined them to be.

*Now, see this. The world has its corrupted systems (both physical and spiritual), principles (both physical and spiritual), and structures (both physical and spiritual). A person can't fulfill destiny when they operate solely under the world's restrictive and corrupt atmosphere. You must latch upon the offerings of the supernatural realm while still on earth to have an advantage over the earthly realm.*

So, you see a fine Christian who is still a baby in Christ and is still operating under the restrictive boundaries of this corrupt world. Such will keep experiencing some forms of hardship in the things that matter. They will keep struggling for things that should easily be theirs only if they have grown into maturity in Christ, to the stature where they can easily operate from the supernatural realm.

*God's Will for us is that the supernatural becomes natural for us. This is made possible as we decide to give ourselves fully to the LORD and allow Him to take control of all aspects of our lives. Give it all to JESUS, and no longer withhold anything.*

There is someone I used to know, a man who was vehemently addicted to smoking and taking alcoholic drinks. He helplessly spent a lot of money every day just to tend to his addictions, so much so that his family (his wife and children) struggled to live a good life.

After some time, he started getting sick, and upon being diagnosed, it was obvious that his addictions had started affecting his internal organs. Unfortunately, he was so addicted that even while dying each day, he couldn't stop smoking and drinking, till he died.

Upon reflecting on the incident, I started imagining the very first time he probably took a cigarette. It would have been exciting and he would have been thrilled with his newly found adventure. Obviously, he won't have imagined that in years to come, he would become a slave to his addictions, and will slowly watch how what he loved sucks life away from his body. On the day of his death, he might have looked back to the very first day he took his first cigarette and alcohol, and wished he had turned it down when offered. But it was too late.

When you see an addict, there is always a first time he or she tried that thing. There is always a first time. The first time, they won't have imagined the extent of the damage they will wreak on their bodies shortly.

The first time you are introduced to something sinful, it always seems pleasurable and enjoyable. It might be sexual immorality, taking what's not yours, telling a lie, injecting harmful substances into your body, etc. Your fallen flesh craves for more, and the pleasures deaden your senses of reasoning and conscience. You soon gravitate into a state of addiction, and you become a slave to what gives you sinful pleasure.

Unfortunately, the wicked devil utilizes your sinful addictions to actualize his cruel aims - to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). He steals a person's identity, strength, peace and wellbeing, etc. He kills the person by causing a separation between them and God (who is our Creator and Source) before dumping such into their premature grave (since such a person has given him the access to spoil their life by slipping away from under God's hedge of protection). He destroys such an individual by getting them ruined eternally in hell.

The first time you do something sinful and you enjoy the pleasure, know that this could only be the beginning of a journey into a nasty addiction that you will regret eventually. Whenever you have the choice to do something sinful and wrong, let the thoughts of the terrible implications advise you to ignore such.

And if you are currently addicted to anything bad and harmful, run to Jesus today and ask for His help.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, help me to not embrace a lifestyle that leads to destruction.

There is a lifestyle that is still in bondage under the elements of the world, and, unfortunately, this is what a large chunk of people in different parts of the world can currently relate to. Such life is helplessly constrained to the world's limited systems and structures and finds it impossible to explore beyond the surface.

Can you imagine an Eagle in chains and caged? Such will definitely grow in misery every single day. This is because, despite its innate energy that will keep propelling the bird to explore the skies, it helplessly remains restricted by those restrictive elements that seem too strong - the chains and the cage.

Same thing here. Every human created by God has the innate potential to be above the earth's imperfect systems and structures. Unfortunately, many are still in bondage under the elements of the world.

There are various contexts to interpret this. In many parts of the world, the economic policies governing the society were intentionally configured to hinder the average person from experiencing true prosperity in their lifetime. Hence, for many individuals, while there is an innate desire to explore destiny beyond the surface level of this world, they find themselves hindered by the imperfect economic system of society, and they die without actualizing any of their divine dreams.

We can also talk about folks who are hindered from fulfilling destiny by curses and spells, diseases, different bodily ailments, etc. Many things in our world have been empowered by darkness to limit people from maximizing their full potential and soaring beyond this material existence.

*Hence, you must walk in tandem with the Lord to continue living within the context of a reality of perpetual freedom from any type of bondage that has placed humans under the terrible elements of the world system.*

The average human has a phobia of failure and hates to fail. Of course, there are various ways to explain the reason for this. First, originally, failure wasn't embedded in the DNA of humans, as we were destined to operate in the class of the Divine. Humans only started knowing what failure looks like after the Fall in the Garden of Eden; after sin re-engineered the DNA of mankind by quietly weakening our strength (Isaiah 14:12).

Also, we must admit that society finds failure repulsive, either directly or indirectly. Hence, failure attracts all manner of negativity that ensures misery.

The good thing is that you can be 100 percent certain that you will never end up a failure in life, as a child of God. You know it is never in God's Will that you should become miserable, and you can always trust Him who knows the end from the beginning (Revelation 1:8; 22:13).

*In Christ Jesus, yours is a glorious adventure, and your life will soar from glory to glory. Since you are seated with Christ in heaven places (Ephesians 2:6), it doesn't matter what the economy of your region is like, you will keep flourishing "like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruits in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper." (Psalms 1:3).*

One of the things you will start doing is to go into society and show love to those folks whom society has labeled a failure. You will exert influence over them and let the glory of God upon you drive them also into God's kingdom. There, they will throw off their prison clothes and put on their destined identity - kings and priests (Revelation 1:6).

GOD is a Great God, at all sides and in all ways. He not only does great things, but He thinks great thoughts, and He has great plans for every single one of His children, including you. In His great plans for us, it has been settled that our latter shall be greater than our previous and current realities (Job 8:7; Haggai 2:9).

Since God's greatest desire for you is to be great in His sight, You should not settle for less in all of your endeavors. You should not shortchange God's dealings with you for humans' applause and recognition. No contrary offer from humans can be compared with the bliss of being attested by God Himself as you flourish in His perfect Will for your life (Matthew 3:17).

The Will of God your Creator is that you should be the head and always at the top of your game - in your industry, in your calling/assignment, in your career, etc. Hence, you must never embrace mediocrity and complacency at all.

*It is important to always remember that it is GOD who makes people great with ease (without having to burn yourself out). You will agree with me that there are several so-called successful people out there today who attained their heights at the expense of other important things - sacrificing their family, health, etc. But when God is the one placing you in the position of the Greats, you are bound to enjoy bliss all around you, and won't have to experience sorrow from other important things neglected.*

It is not enough to be busy and occupied with things - one has to be productive indeed. It is true that a lot of individuals we see around are only spending a lot of resources and energy in unproductive directions, and it is simply a waste.

You might have a lot of energy and resources to throw around today, but it is wisdom to purposefully channel them in a direction where they produce the right dividends, ensuring you are really moving ahead in life and destiny.

One good reason you must be particular about getting appropriate results for the things you do is because there will come a time when you can no longer do the things you do now (particularly as you keep getting older)

So, in John 9 verse 4, our LORD JESUS CHRIST was saying He must be productive while it is day, for the night is coming (a season) when He won't be available to do some stuff again.

You should have been able to gather certain results right now that it is day for you. Always remember that a night is coming (a season) when no one can do the things they can easily do right now again.

A wise person thinks ahead and ensure they are appropriately set for the night time of their life, by being productive while it is day (right now), so the results they gather now, will be enough to sustain them at night

When Jesus said "I must work the works of Him who sent me while it is day", you can see a Man who is already sure of what kind of work He is destined and meant to do. Here is a Man who has discovered His purpose and knows why He was sent to the Earth!

*Jesus is our Perfect Role Model, and we must be like Him. In all areas of life, we can confidently follow HIM and do what He did while on earth in the body. And since Jesus knew His purpose for coming to the earth, we too must not live aimlessly and without direction, but we must know what God has in mind while creating us, and commit ourselves to such on earth.*

Life becomes easier and more exciting when you know and start doing what you are destined to do. There are tons of benefits attached to pleasing GOD with your life when you do stuff He made you to do.

In our society, work is crucial to attain a level of greatness and acquire the necessary resources to do great stuff in life. A person is expected to work to have what it requires to take proper care of themselves as well as their loved ones.

We are expected to be diligent in working and to be able to gather resources that will be used to achieve our great goals and dreams.

Now, we must admit that there are folks with the desire to work and be productive, but who are currently incapacitated. Hence, strength is needed to work. Without strength, irrespective of how great the ambition is, one won't be able to do much.

A very sick person is so occupied with the pain experienced in their body, that they won't have time to think about stuff like working and achieving goals. Pain, sickness, and fatigue, all bring limitations and hinder people from engaging in something productive that helps in doing great in life (Isaiah 38).

*One of the reasons the Lord is always eager to heal people from bodily afflictions is so that they will have the vigor to engage in productive activities that will make their lives better in society, and also give them the means to fund their good aspirations and goals.*

Hence, we must keep contending for strength to work and be successful in life, even as we are diligent to natural principles that support a healthy lifestyle (eating well, resting well, exercising, etc) and drawing divine nourishment from the realm of God.

I declare that my body is continually energized with strength, and I'm always strong and active to do the things I need to do to become successful in life. I am not sick or weak. Those around me who are helplessly incapacitated right now, the Lord energizes them and restores them, in Jesus Name. Amen.

The earth was originally destined for spotless beauty. Yes, it is meant to be beautiful in all ways. Nevertheless, since people keep cooperating with nasty spirits to allow evil to thrive, the world has become what it is and is not as beautiful as portrayed by the arts. There are dark places of the earth where evil and wickedness are being cooked daily.

There are evil people around (in every continent) who are always determined to afflict others with afflictions and pain. They are of the kingdom of the devil, inhabitants of the kingdom of darkness, and their job is to install negative stuff upon the earth so that more people will start tilting away from God's Will for their lives.

Unfortunately, many humans are victims of the evil works of these evil people. Currently, they are still planning more and more evil stuff from their evil covens. They take great delight in seeing people suffer, and they are happy when the world is filled with chaos.

As things stand now, they are strategizing ways to bring afflictions your way - short-term plans and long-term ones (1 Peter chapter five, verse eight). They are crafting how to get to your loved ones too.

*But with God, you will always receive divine help to destroy their evil plans concerning you and your loved ones. The scripture declares that: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." (Psalms‬ ‭91:1). Once this is certain, you can be rest assured that nothing evil will come near you.*

TOPIC: The Voice Of God Gives Victory Over Untimely Death

Of course, a right-thinking person won't intentionally walk into death and danger - such will rather flee upon sensing the slightest threat aiming at snatching their life.

Unfortunately, people keep walking into danger every day. In different places in the world, many people are being killed and maimed, against their wishes.

Since our world is very imperfect, many will keep going to their premature grave. We must always remember that evil abides in this world since people are intentionally going contrary to the instructions of the LORD (Genesis 3).

So, it's scary to think that some people innocently spend their hard-earned money to send themselves into sudden death (think about buying a car that eventually had a fatal accident, boarding a plane that eventually crashed, shopping at the supermarket and being shot at by a robber, etc)

*Nevertheless, we know that as we walk in the way ordained by GOD, we are safe and secured under His wings. If we can always be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, He will always steer us out of the path of death and lead us in the way of life to fulfill destiny.*

Jesus attested to be the Way and the Life (John 14:6). It means even when many walk on paths that lead to death, when we walk as JESUS' folks, we rise and live above death and destruction, for Jesus already guarantees us Life. Amen

LORD JESUS, help me to walk according to Your precepts and instructions, so I will live above destruction and untimely death.

It is normal for every reasonable human to take different steps in different directions at different times in one's life. No reasonable person entertains stagnation and just being stuck in just one spot.

However, a powerful realization we must swallow is that as humans, we are limited, and we don't always know what is usually ahead of each decision we take.

Many folks are frustrated, as they invested great resources in certain things that eventually led to failure. Hence, we need clarity, if we are going to prevent heartbreaks and headaches as consequences of our actions and inactions.

You need to be sure of where a particular direction will lead before starting out. Therefore, since the average human has their limitations, then we need God's help (Psalms 33:20).

*Thus, it is wise to give priority to asking GOD for direction before taking any step, so we won't waste our efforts and resources.*

Always remember that with God, you can never be stranded, as He is Alpha and Omega who know the end from the beginning (Revelation 1:11).

LORD JESUS, I admit my imperfections and limitations as a human, and I acknowledge Your Supremacy, admitting You alone knows all things. Guide me as I make decisions and choices, and direct me to walk only where You want me to.

TOPIC: Hold Tight The Kingdom

Therefore, I say to you: the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits (Matthew 21:43).

*Message*

The scripture never shies away from the fact that a person can fall from grace. The Lord Jesus expressed truths along these lines both when He was about His ministry on earth (Matt. 5:22,29,30) and in His glorified form (Rev. 21:8; 22:15).

The Lord's Apostles, who did a good job in passing across the mystery of grace, also sent warnings across to saints:

*For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, [5] and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, [6] if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame." - Heb. 6:4-6*

So, in Matthew 21:43, Jesus disclosed how the kingdom of God could be taken from a person, if they are ignorantly careless. The possibilities were highlighted from verse 33 when He started talking about the parable of the wicked vinedressers.

We could see that it is possible for folks who are beneficiaries of God's benevolence to turn against Him and become hostile towards their Maker for various reasons. It doesn't matter your current state, either blissful or painful, never turn against your Creator.

In the same vein, nothing should make you hostile towards God's messengers. These are God's voices, and He doesn't joke with His real anointed servants.

Finally, never reject Jesus and nail Him to the cross again. If, after being introduced to the kingdom, you continued in sinful acts, you are drifting out of the kingdom.

Help me Lord to hold on to You till the very end.
