proeast: Thank You for asking those classic questions that have been bothering me too. APC & Buhari are the worst thing to happen to Nigeria in recent times. The country is fast going down to abyss, the government is absolutely clueless on how to rescue it. Honestly, I'm seriously afraid for what is about to befall Nigerians, I forsee one of the worst forms of starvation & crises that might shake the world. The only solution left now is True Fiscal Federalism or we are doomed!!! @ u and Stevecantrell: I totally share you guys opininon.....For years, the Nigerian Govt makes it appear like the only source of income is Oil whereas hundreds of billions in naira are made from tax returns, yet no accountability. You mentioned that true fiscal federalism is the solution, I do not agree with you on that. I quite agree that true fiscal federalism is the long-term solution to the growth of Nigeria but it is never a solution at this time of serious revenue drain....even in this present state of things, many states cant pay their workers due to drop in revenue allocation. Trust me, some states will totally go bankrupt if you introduce fiscal federalism at this point........ There are several opportunities in this present time of economic woes only if we have brilliant minds to chart the course of this country, which unfortunately we don't. This is the time to lay the foundation for possible future fiscal federalism by forcing all states to look inward for self sustenance. |

Oksman: I don't think you correct about your sermon on the economy, there are certain comments or actions that can send a economy on a downward spin in less than a year, that's why men like george soros, (his comment wrecked the british pound in 1982) are not permitted to make speculative economic statement, same with greenspan alan (former) us fed reserve boss. read also how speculation led to the asian economic crisis in 1997. I can go on and on to remind you how bloomberg, goldman sach, etc kept on warning the govt. and yet the failed to listen. Nigeria economy was ran in a very archaic manner in the last one year, and ofcourse you know it is easier to destroy than to build. You are right...I agree |

Pedrop: Really ? How come the economy has crashed within one year under APC ? Maybe we should take it as first of its kind because, under GEJ we weren't suffering like this.
What was he thinking when he was auto piloting Nigerian Economy without cabinet , claiming his body odour was doing wonders hence, saw no reason to appoint his so called noise makers ? Probably, he must have thought that money flows in just on its own.
Did he and many of his sai babas not realize that Nigerian economy relies solely on that single oil revenue ? Why did he pick fight which will disturb the little we would be getting from NigerDelta ? Was NigerDelta not at peace when it was handed over to Buhari ? Why did he pick fight against NigerDelta at the first place, now asking them to accept negotiation ? I guess he was drunk with the new sheriff in town mantra then that made him engage militants without any plans on how to go about it.
What has he achieved with his NigerDelta provocation so far ? Nothing.
Buhari is clueless and arrogant, reason he came in wiith the mindset of lording it over everybody and not running an inclusive government.
Thank God we are in all these together.
New sheriff in town effect we no see again. Body odour no work again..
Omenka, beremx, passingshot. Body odour is no longer working and the new sheriff in town has put on fire in NigerDelta but now behaving like a toddler. He even ran away from their threat not to visit Ogoniland. Please give evidence to the allegation that he provoked Niger Delta..........Every follower of Nigerian politics new that there will be an unrest from the South probably SS....When GEJ was in charge, the North was the problem and now that a Northerner is the President, SS is the problem................... You saying we weren't suffering like this under GEJ is totally illiterate...as if it was Buhari's presence that brought the hardship. I agree that this Govt is kinda slow and appearing clueless like the former. But stop being petty |

TheArchangel: You are really the one who is yet to move on. IWill FG continue to pay salaries is the question I am asking, so stop defending the indefensible. Lol...I quite agree with you that is a serious issue that calls for concern....Cos the moment that happens then we'll be in a serious mess. However, I think it will be too early to say and I think the CBN Governor was reckless to have said that. there are many ways to explore to ensure payment. They can even issue bonds to raise money bith locally and internationally. The main issue here is that the Govt need to solve the problem of Niger Delta so as to ensure that as much revenue as possible is earned from the sale of crude oil....I totally agree that this govt is too slow like sometimes appearing confused in the midst of this trouble ( even though I supported Buhari). But I believe this time shall pass |

Any penny/ shishi or farthing that will be owed to the federal civil service commission in the name of "owing of salaries" will lead to secrets being leaked and sold out of hunger. I presume and also guess that no political jobber will want to hear the original results on how INEC selected them to rubbish our country. Greatfuture: Does this make sense, where are all the economist The APC led government need help I totally agree that this Government started doing what is required to revamp the economy very late because of the stubbornness of the President. But please guys a country's economy does not collapse in 1 year, what you are seeing is a reflection of what has been happening over the years. The price of crude oil started declining during GEJ's govt and continued sharply afterward, no single person can be blamed for the decrease in price of crude oil. Election has come and gone, you people should forget about the election and move on. If you have a reason to blame the president, do it without being petty. Whether we all like it or not, Buhari is the President of Ibo, Hausa, Yoruba and collectively Nigeria. so stop all this attack that has helped no one. |

We know why you are so bitter and pained. I do not fancy him or any politician from Nigeria. But the point is...the way some of them have made themselves so relevant and powerful through calculative intelligence and superior strategic planning is worthy of study by any ambitious person. But then my Brother, one cant do it with hate. DROP THE HATE...dare to be different from your fellow hate harbouring homo sapiens. |

Peridoic seminars and speeches are held for library users.. I intend to have a library like that in my house in future. |
