That the church was started by Yoruba does not warrant that all the church assistant GOs, Regional G.Os and Senior Pastors should be yoruba. The church has grown beyond yoruba. A non Yoruba should even be in a position to lead the church, afterall Pastor Adeboye did not start the church with pa. Josiah Akindayomi when he started the church in 1952, and he was not the most qualified when he was handed over the headship of the church after pa akindayomi's death.

I repeat, I never said israel has a large christian population. . I said it has a growing Christian population, not going extinct. At about 2 percent as of this year. Far above what it would have been if it was a muslim country. Note that the muslim population in israel is 17 percent. Show me another islamic country with a jewish population of 5%, Or a free christian population that is not oppressed.

Seriously, I had a similar experience precisely a month ago that I even felt like sharing here here but I think this thread has giv'n me the avenue.
It happened to my Aunt who had a tumour(late tho') that was diagnosed to be carcinogenic(it was discoverd when she went for her regular check up). The doctor said it was good that it was discovered early so it won't metastasize and she would need to be operated. When she informed her husband, he bluntly and outrightly objected it saying as far as he's alive, no member of his family would undergo sugery(he even boasted of how his wife delivered their second baby normally even when the doctor said the only option she had was a CS) that it's convenant the Lord made with him. He said the God he serves has never failed him.
Well, as time went by. The man continued fasting and praying. He even went to the mountains. So also the tumour continued to grow still believein in His Yaweh.
Eventually, it was discovered the tumour was malignant and spread drastically within a month. My aunt gave up the ghost last month based on her husband's strong believe in God. Ooh, did I metion he's also a pastor?
Everyone that heard of it blamed him for being so stupid and jeopardizing the life of his wife.
Now, this is my quetion, as a believer, what exactly did the man do wrong?

Notwithstanding the consistence of the coincidence the main point in my post is that we should not generalize as there are many more well-behaved and hardworking Igbos and Christians who earn their livelihood from a clean source and whose way of life is not represented by these few drug-peddlers. In a similar manner, Muslims generally and Islam in particular should not be blamed when some so called Muslim name bearing or people from a Muslim majority part commit acts of terror. A bad person is a bad person regardless of what faith he professes or pretends to profess, or where he originates from. Consistence of coincidence in these instances would lead to misleading inferences.
