Abi oo my man, while those too far to chop were comitting suicide on our behalf and working their heartbeats up to hypertensive levels. We will remain happy jare.

Nigerians are happy because they are are very gaullible; They would remain happy as long as they keep getting fake promises of better tomorrow from their corrupt leaders and fake prophets! Get real.

'Gullible' you mean? Dont worry, the fake prophets always do some miracles and one of their miraculous feats is keeping us happy always.

Can we help it? We are bound to be happy down here, after all the laughter over bottles of shine shine bobo and fresh fish with pretty bitchesses to go with it.
We are not worried about depression as that word is not in our dictionary. Climate change dont worry us as our ice has not started melting. Hurricane Hulk (is that the current one?) dont know our address.

Becomrich is never a tribalist on Nairaland but a realist.

Yeah, his google maps attest to that.

Is Awolowo also a member of Nairaland? I think the line between fantasy and reality is getting really blurry for you guys!!

Have you looked into his grave, dude may be typing away from hell fire with a blackberry!

Una get too much time, as you are here fighting tribal nonesense, your lawmakers and govnors (who are your brothers) are robbing you blind! I think the fight should be between the corrupt and the rest of us and not between impoverished tribal monkeys foaming from the mouth for their jaundiced views.
Its better I fight my brothers who are thieves than dissipate good energy chasing long shadows.

I suggest that Ibo, Efik, Kanuri, Edo, Ijaw, Nupe, Gwari, Urhobo, Fulani, Ibibio, Hausa and Yoruba be removed from Nigeria. These people are all trouble makers.

I like the way everyone seems to ignore the looting of our politicians plus their over pay. Imagine a politician loosing millions of Nairs from 6 months suspension.

People are doing something, remember the man who rushed obj at the airport yesterday, others are scared stiff while others ran away entirely, prefaringt to hide behind a monitor and give orders.

A man who would steal a stick of ciga from mallam, calling it a prank is likely to defraud the state. It all starts with those innocent pranks that soon trun into full blown theft.

I often argue, that if Ibori was not defrauding the state and killing people, he would probabaly have been the leader of a highway robbery gang. Go and ask about him, he has been a person from childhood who has been upto no good.

But there is a sad side to all this, check out their houses, most live in misery. They might have all that ill gotten wealth, but no happiness.

Na lie! How can you steal 20 billion and be unhappy? He can afford to sleep with Janevieve and Omotola while Basketmouth entertains in his house with Tuface for the next 10 years! Lol!!!

^Sharrrraaaaaaaaap dia!

I'm sure you enjoy the nice car, highbrow homes and Western education, then coming here to yarn megedefegede about bible quotes.

If you find the actions of your ole barawo father truly morally reprehensible, then don't be a conduit for his stashed loots. These Governor pickin go dey yarn nonsense about not agreeing with their pops stealing, yet the house is in their name, their bank account is deposited with stolen dollars. Very few have the courage to reject these stolen comforts, then them go come her dey yarn nonsense about bible quotes.

Are you crazzy? You are saying what am saying and still disagree with me? Thats a sign of madness. Read my posts again, did I say my parents had ever been politicians? Or you are high on something?
Read my previous posts before going crazy because your babe refused you phuck! And I used to respect you from the sports section? Chai! You just disappointed me over your level of intelligence. Am not from rich parents, all I have, I made them clean in naija here.

those celebrating obj achievements should ans. One question, y is the country still in shambles!?
Its simple the man left a legacy of questionable democrazy where average nigerian still bel.his/her votes still dont count.
If in 8 yrs he stole all nigeria moni but left a sound political syst. Where politicians become servants rather than lords , i personally would not mind.
But what do we have, 3rd term agenda, yar ar dua, mrs ayoka in ekiti, gbenga lord daniel of ogun, etc. How long to get it right?
And someone here talking of gsm, wwhic is most important universal adult surfrage or gsm.

You people may not like what am saying, but its the truth. Obasanjo dwarfs any other presido we ever had and am not yoruba lest you accuse me of ethnic sentiments. Who else;
willingly handed over power in naija?
Fought and got debt relief for us?
Reduced the fear of coups by retiring senior army officers?
Introduced pension reforms that is working now?
Brought about jobs through banks recapitalization?
Initiated the sale of dead corporations like Nitel and Hilton?
Gave us GSM (na your papa bring am before?)
wated to sell NEPA also and we refused and called him thief, now we are suffering.
had the best economic team.
Ensured Nafdac was working.
Equipped the airport safety systems.

In world standards, he perrformed below par, but place him against any of our previous leaders, he will stand tall. For those shouting GSM was not an achievement, how were you making calls before ojb came?
Learn to respect those that tried. Now hurl your stones.

I can spot morons in a fraction of a second. That is why I took note of your name when you said Ibru stole for good reasons. I knew there and then that you were major league dumb.

Children can castigate their parents once they are not toddlers? What a retard!

The biggest problem I have seen in Nigeria is our inability to confront truth, especially when it concerns us. We will twist, turn, weave and struggle to justify the unjustifiable even where its clear our rump is naked. Thats the main problem we have.
The only people who can stop crime surely are people closest to criminals, by appealing to their conscience and trying to make them see things from a moral point of view. I have siblings that became born again by 7-12 years and can talk to me and my parents about moral issues with firmness, backed with bible quotes. Now all these political thieves attend religious service with their kids, is it so difficult to point out to him how he is doing the opposite.

The day we pick enough courage to confront our brothers who are thives, the nation will change. Every governor, senator, LG chaiman etc have brothers, kids and we should step up to them and tell them the truth. If you cannot do that and sits to enjoy the loot, you are no different from your parent/relative who steals.

more power to you. bushmeat ? isnt that an euphemism for 'big rat' ? grin

See what bothers me, some people just open their mouth and say what they dont know. Bush meat 'big rats'?
What we loosely refer to as bush meat includes antelopes, deers, crocs, guinea fowl, buffalo, big snakes and all. You just displayed your ignorance or annoyance for being African, why not do a race change surgery?
Politics / Re: How Does The Thieving Of Corrupt Nigerians Affect Their Kids? by invisible2(m): 1:04am On Nov 09, 2010
Some of us watch our father steal, our uncles loot, our brother rob and kidnap, and we pretend we dont see anything wrong. But if its our money stolen, our relatives kidnapped, we scream blue murder.
Some of us here attend foreign schools with looted funds and live in foreign mansions with blood money and yet yab the govt everyday from abroad! How wicked can that be? Tell your people the truth.

If we allow you, you will allege that cannibalism originated in Lagos.

Else where, the incident would have been investigate more closely, one or two people may even die in the process but the knowledge will lead to thousands of lives been saved in future occurrences. If we continue like this there may come a time in the future when we will be colonized/enslaved again even worse than we were before.

Emmmmm, we dont wanna be backward again and thats why I ask you to be among the 'one or two' who will die so we learn from it, ready to go? My video camera offer is still open.
