Are you retarded!!!

Kids sell their father's land and car to "punish their parents"?

Do you have cements for brains?

Kids tell parents what to do in Africa?

Are you an slowpoke?
Kids even run away from home to hurt parents!
Did they stuff tissue paper into the space your brain was supposed to be?
Children can talk to their parents except they are toddlers.
If you are too weak to confront your own dad who is a thief, just sharrrrap and sit down!

@Sagamite and nubian, just admit it, you are very wrong, all kids know the truth early enough and can say things to their parents straight up, unlike wives who are afraid of their 'god' husbands. The corrupt peeps can afford to throw wives away and marry another but cannot throw the kids away.
The kids represent their future! In Africa kids are everything.
It will be meaningless to make all the money in the world and your kids will fight you till death. Maybe you guys are too naive and never heard about kids selling their fathers lands, cars in disobedience. They do these to punish the dad. If these corrupt peeps fear their immediate family, they will be afraid to steal. The only truth is that most of these kids are comfy the way they are and will start to justify their dads way of life with every excuse. As to stopping them, we stand no chance as you can only make noise here and gerrrout.
As for yarning opata, I love to shove it up your azzes till e go pain you. No apologies, me retract my words? You are dreaming.
If my dad steals, I will tell him to his face what a disgrace he was.
Maybe your dad is a thief and you love the loot?

I repeat "THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG IN EATING WHALES MEAT" if it was speared by whale hunters (Although, I don't support whale hunting as they are almost extinct), but rottening whale carcas, come on, now?  sad

The emboldened part of the quote shows you like point and kill, wella, LOL

There's nothing wrong with eating any meat dead or alive, it just depends on how you love to excercise your freedom and how big your freezer is to store it for months.

I never said you are not nearer to your dad, I said you are not easily in a position to be your father's guardian/mentor.

Being near does not put you in a position to guide.

A family elder, a respected friend or his wife (someone with equal or almost equal experience of the world) has a BETTER chance than you in telling him home truths and him accepting. They are likely to command more respect and apply indirect moral pressure than you can.

That is a faulty argument.

Most corrupt dads listen to their kids more than the old hags they call wives. They may even listen more to the girlfriend than brothers. Kids can get their attention most, what is his money for if the kids reject them?

Rubbish!

You are not easily in a position to be your father's guardian/mentor, whilst the reverse is the case.

You are lying through your gap tooth!
You are nearer to your dad than anybody else and stand a better chance of telling him some home truths. The only thing is that the kids are too busy rolling in money to bother, who says looting is not infectious/heriditary.

I think that the parents have nothing to do with the child. The Parents can only do what they can within their capacity as they are human. i personally do not see any shame with anyone being the child of a corrupt person and i do not believe in the "sins of the father" saying. i think as adults we come to the world for a purpose and walk on our own paths.

These people that we call corrupt are the only parents that this children have grown to love so  at the end of the day they do not have a choice but to love them as they are no matter what it is. In Abachas case, noone is denying that people where not affected by him, however, i will not judge his children until they prove otherwise.

in some cases thse children come out come and in some cases these children turn out bad. sometimes they are shunned by society and surrounded by people who do not guide them through the right path. we all will be mothers and fathers and will make mistakes the most important thing is to hope that our children are able to live their own lives uninterrupted or affected by our actions.

If your father catches you selling your body or doing crack and fails to advice you, he is a heartless father.
If you know your father is a thief and you fail to reprimand/cut him off, you are desperately wicked.

@ola olabiy,

My vote counts not, because the vast majority of Nigerians are not prepared to do the right thing. We think freedom and good governance come for free. Nigerians need to learn how to earn things, and fight for our right. That why we are all on here discussion how big thieves are stealing your money and mine, and we can do absolutely nothing, but discuss how it affects the kids

Are you based in Nigeria?

I heard over the news that Long Term Unemployed people in the UK will now be forced to do ''30 hrs community service'' every week. Failure to do this will result to forfeiture of the normal monthly stipends to the unemployed.
Serves them right, I wonder how somebody will leave his fathers arable lands unfarmed and go and spend time in foreign lands begging for govt stipends. Bundle them in a container and import them here ASAP.

Animal Conservation!! its not in our Culture.

I saw this happen on Bonny Island around year 2000 also. The dead whale was skimmed to the ground, even the bone became monuments in some homes.

So this not a problem in Nigeria. Which rich person, organization or Government had time to see to such rescue excercise except there is money to share or if it is given out as Contract (for loyalty sake). We don't even have setup for such rescue here.

It is not about poverty, it only shows we like to devour free opportunities. This is NIgerian lifestyle.
So, which country doesnt like to devour free opportunities or because we like to yab Nigeria specially.

With all the broken skin and brownish water around, and with the browning of its usually white underneath and the fact that it would have probably been floating around dead for days in polluted water, it is clearly rotten. I don't know what market you shop for stock fish (whale cemetery?), but I only see dried stock fish that was killed by the fishermen in whatever European country it came from, not whale carcass.

Person wey dey house sabi the price for market.

Let them pretend, small time we start rejecting the prodigals.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Can The Gunners Win Anything This Season. by invisible2(m): 8:49pm On Nov 07, 2010
Bigtee:

HI,

Arsen Wenger and the Gunners are in a fix now. They have been knocked out carling cup (lost to Wigan "suprise team of the season" 2-2 on away goal rule).

The FA cup fixture is out and guess what,
The Gunners play Bolton Wanderers (remember Bolton beat Arsenal 2-0 already this season). Bolton will play with confidence!

The champions league resumes in Febuary. They play Real Madrid (who is in a rebirth stage, already through to the kings cup or copa de roye) semis. Some say Arsenal should forget the UEFA champions league this season.

So from my analysis, we can deduce the following:
Premiership champions: OUT
Carling cup: OUT
FA Cup: SHAKY
Champions league: Mission impossible

To crown it all, Henry might(in my opinion WILL) leave this summer. Strong rumour have it that Etoo is already in talks with Chelsea, so Barca will cash in on Henry as a replacement.
SO will the Gunner not lift a trophy this season (plus lose their star player)??

Holla Back.

Some things will be evergreen, some situations never change.
