BritishNaija: Please Why don't you want to learn? Do you expect US or any Country to fly into Ukraine Airspace if not warjets? Kiev Airspace is contested and any flight that is not Ukrainian fighterjets or Russian fighterjet is exposing itself to crossfire of being shutdown, Now I hope you can comprehend that. We know your type. The Alagidis The article clearly stated that the Kyiv air corridors are closed by Russia anti-aircraft weapons, but reading is hard for you, we always have to spell it out. Your problem is not even comprehension; it's READING |

EKONGKING: Most of the commentators are missing the big picture about Russia ukraine war and why western governments are overreacting with all sorts of sanctions. Have you seen any asian ,south american or african country put sanctions like western countries. Among asians only japan ,south korea and singapore put sanctions that are bare minimum of what was put by western countries.
The real reason is China .if russia gets away ,expect china to invade taiwan .All this sanctions are to deter china from invading taiwan ,so economic wise china will be poorer. Why western countries are worried about china is, if taiwan is invaded ,U.S.A is mandated to fight china . USA being nato country all western countries will be invovled against china . this the exact scenario they want to avoid. by punishing putin and russia ,they want set an example to china. Get your facts right. The US is not under any mandate to defend Taiwan. Go and read Taiwan assurance act again. That's the best proof you can come up with. China doesn't want to invade Taiwan; it's all Western lies. Xi Jinping wants a peaceful reunion with Taiwan. The Taiwanese are being pushed just like they pushed the Ukrainians. However, China has a reservation, just like the Russians, that, if Taiwan declares independence, they will invade. China prefers it subtle. Find recent comments from Xi below. China is blooming, and I'm sure they don't want no trouble, at least for now.

immortalcrown: This is pure wickedness. It has nothing to do with the war. As long as the boss duly pays the sailor's salary, the sailor is just wicked. It is better to quit the job to demonstrate your patriotism. Sinking the ship cannot stop the war. Now, you have made the boss fear all his employees from your country. Man has been envious of the boss and his Yacht. Is he just knowing that his boss is a arms dealer? It doesn't bother him until now. It doesn't bother him who the weapons were being used upon until they used them on his people. He's been living large and comfortable on the proceeds from the arm deals all along until now. Tueh! |

It is what a man fears that kills him.. Ukrainians are ready to die defending their Liberty ... Russian soildiers should be careful in this battle.. Lol They've not started wearing suicide vest yet. The Afghans did more to resist the US invasion. The US went on to occupy Afghanistan for 20years. Say something else. It's a no brainer, the Ukrainians can never defend themselves against Russia. This is a scientific fact not guesswork. |

Timekeeper452: Nothing like false narrative. Putin is loosing this one.
He’s already playing his queen (Threatening nuclear missiles). So much for the brilliant strategist. He is not operating on rational but on pure emotion. It’s too late for him to pull back and negotiate. The consolidated economic response along with Ukraine’s steel spine has revealed his weakness.
In other words, this goose is cooked.
Putin is even now threatening google to unban their youtube channel in Ukraine.
The fact that Putin could demand, threaten, kick and scream and the whole world is ignoring him like a toddler on the floor is priceless. It also shows that his “strength” is nothing. He is nothing.
Just want to add that it is still early and the Ukrainian’s are doing the heavy lifting for the rest of the world. We need to remember what they have sacrificed for us. Sacrificed for you and who? Come on man! Stop being unnecessarily emotional. |

obedience4: History will remember how a country fought against the odds against the largest army in Europe and won.. How democracy triumph over fascism and communism.. How the people fought for their freedom.. One thing this war has brought is a united west and a stronger NATO.. Not only that, it also exposes the Western hypocrisy in a way that's unprecedented. Now, you don't even have to be educated to see it. Inasmuch as I don't support the actions of Putin, It disgusts me that the people condemning him are worse; a classic example of 'pot calling kettle black'. And you, you come here to feed us the 'Democracy triumph over communism' BS! SMH. Y'all make democracy look like some Utopian system where all is perfect. He is indirectly saying Ukrainians have no right to defend themselves, just to criticize America, Israel et al... Some of you are are busy supporting the nonsensical post. What kind of exercise demands she spread her legs this wide? What's she trying to achieve when she's not going for Olympics Even if she's going for Olympics. TenQ: Ukraine wanted to join NATO because of Russia's aggression to it. If Ukraine had felt safe with Russia, she wouldn't even dream of becoming a Member of NATO.
At the same time, Russia is against NATO only because of USA. Russia may not mind Ukraine being part of a joint defence force of Europeans but not NATO.
Russia may invade Ukraine but it will be difficult for it to occupy it. It will also be seriously economically damaging for Russia for a long time. In the case of WW3 coming up, Russia will still loose out because it cannot fight on multiple fronts and win. I don't know any strong allies that Russia has in the world except the Moslem world led by Iran.
China will watch the East and the West destroy each other and hope for an opportunity to take over world leadership and dominance. You'll be surprised who's behind Russia. All the rogue states. And there's no "Moslem world" it's just Iran on the list.

And as a country whose security is threatened, should Russia just keep quiet and watch Ukraine dine with NATO until they build bases on their borders? The difference here is, one is weak the other is powerful. And the idea of sovereignty is funny. Powerful nations bully weak ones all the time. |
