Please any1 have any idea what this card is called.??

My new laptop has got no wireless adapter inbuilt and yet this is all i have. I need to check out a store if i could find it but the worse part is that i dont know what its called.

Any idea might help so i dont look like a dumb in fromt of the store manager.

Try downloading Driver Genius Professional.

It search your motherboard type and the device that lacks driver and downloads the drivers from the motherboard probucer's site. All these takes place "under your nose".

I've used it and still using it.

Just Login as system?

start > run > and type cmd

in cmd type:
at hh:mm /interactive "cmd.exe"
(hh:mm is equal to ur time on screen + 1 minute)

then wait 1min for new cmd window to pop up. When it pops up terminate the explorer.exe proccess using task manager or whatever(ctrl + alt + del > processes > explorer.exe > end process). Then in new cmd window type:
cd \
cd Windows
explorer.exe

You are now logged in as system. You have bigger privileges the admin, and u can even change its password by typing NET USER account_name in cmd, then just log out and log in as admin.

Get a Norton 360 or a Norton Antivirus 2007 for both ur server and client.

I had a similar problem and solved it with the above.

My advice is:

Dont go for the vista, (plain and simple)

you wanna know why?? install vista and use it for the first 3weeks, you'll know more than why.

hope u aint planning to buy it, and besides if you want to check to the real size, access it via your computer and chck the properties.

If you have bluetooth enabled on both computers then turn both of them on.

goto control panel on the one that doesn't have internet,

select setup wireless connection

the rest are self explained, but when u get to place u are asked to enter ssid, leave it blank or type any name

before going to the registry, try these

go to program files from your local drive,

then delete the whole folder,

if it resist, open the folder and delete the deletables,

afterwhich u should proceed to the folder "common files" under program file and see it there's any folder likely to the software,

if yes delete as well

after all these pathetic deletings, you restart you computer, then if you want to re-install, then follow these steps

go to the regedit

locate hkey Local machine

From the select software

Locate the name for the software (be careful)

when u find it, select the folder and press that key on your keyboard that says "Del"

You might need to reboot your system again

after these, if you want to see the software again, check in abiss ( )
