Education / Re: How Useful Is/was Your Bachelor's Degree? by IratzsMicheal(m): 2:11pm On Apr 16, 2020
I just graduated from UNILAG, no convocation yet or certificate I have started working a 5-figure paying job already. This is because I learnt a lot of skills during my 5years in school but to be honest I wouldn’t have gotten this job if I hadn’t gone to the university. So what’s the moral lesson here? Learn a lot of skills especially the one that isn’t crowded and also get at least a B.Sc. A degree will put you at the right position for opportunities. Right now, I still want to get more degrees.

P.S: I graduated with a 2-2 but my skill is first class.

Crime / Check Out Nude Photos Of UNILAG Professor Who Molest Female Students For Grades by IratzsMicheal(m): 10:34am On May 31, 2018
Sexual exploitation of female students is a common practice in many universities in Nigeria. The story of Monica Osagie who was molested by her professor in Obafemi Awolowo University was a major insight on how lecturers demand sex from female students.

Let's bring it back home, according to a report on Linda Ikeji Blog, a female student has called out a professor from the department of English over his sexual harassment with female students.

The female student who is a victim revealed in an exclusive interview with LIB how the faculty of art is been run by lecturers who deprive female students of their marks.

I have been suffering this for months now. Whenever students go to his office for anything he is always trying to touch you. I took pictures of him on one of the days I entered his office. He has made molestation a part of him. I’m even scared for my life in Unilag. That’s why I’m reaching out to you so he can be stopped.

He is a professor in the English department, Faculty of Arts. I am not his first victim. He does this all the time to students. I have completely given up when it comes to academics he has failed me on tests before. When I talked to him concerning it he told me I should know what to do I am an adult. I feel so dirty for even allowing such an old man touch me. But he doesn’t even care.

As long as you satisfy his wants. I’m tired of everything. He should be stopped before he ruins the lives of other innocent girls in that English department. When he touches me I am always in tears but it doesn’t stop him. Please, this is why I am reaching out all I want is for him to be stopped. He is destroying the mental state of girls in Unilag.

I just want him stopped. I reached out because I don’t want him to continue molesting girls. The English department is like a cult. The lecturers have information amongst themselves. They talk about the girls they have slept with and the ones they plan to sleep with. It has been going on for years.

This story isn't the first coming from the faculty of Art about sexual exploitation of female students.

UNILAG Management needs to sit up to this and make sure every lecturer is brought to justice.

Education / Jeffrey Jude, Babawale Oludare Emmanuel, Roy-Layinde Bosun, UNILAG Best Students by IratzsMicheal(m): 11:20am On May 08, 2018
University of First Choice and Nation's Pride, UNILAG has once again attained the height of greatness. The University of Lagos has set a record as the first Nigerian University to produce 3 best graduating students with CGPA of 4.97. The three students are Jeffrey Jude, Roy-Layinde Bosun, and Oludare Babawale.

A total of 12,638 students will be awarded their degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

Out of these, 53.9% were first degrees or diploma holders while 46.1% are for postgraduate degrees. 245 are in the first class division, 1892 are in the Second Class Upper Division, and 2959 are in the Second Class Lower Division.

Also, 1227 had Third Class, 93 had pass degrees while 400 had degrees or diplomas that were not classified.

UNILAGHAPPEN had an exciting interview with the trio and was able to get some spicy secret about their achievement. Enjoy the interview below.

Jeffrey Jude

21-years old Jeffrey Jude is a student from the Department of Biochemistry. The Edo state indigene gained admission in 2013 to study Biochemistry after writing JAMB twice. Jeffrey Jude started at the top of his class ever since he was a Jambite." Mr. Jeffrey had a UTME score of 266 and also made the number one spot on the admission list.
According to Jeffrey, he loves reading novels, playing video games, board games, listening to music, watching movies, and sometimes, he jogs. He is a fulltime member of Saint Thomas Moore Catholic Church.

Jeffrey Jude said to focus on achieving his lofty dream, he avoided campus relationship by streamlining his social activities, especially interactions with opposite sex which might distract him.

“I did not have a girlfriend all through my stay on campus because I always thought I might not be too committed to any relationship which may cause a distraction but I love hanging out. “My social life was okay, though comparatively. I only attend parties which fit into my time, If it doesn't fit in, I make sure that I just stay absent from the occasion. Most times I play video games (Mortal Combat) because it helps me concentrate".

At the beginning of the journey, Jeffrey never saw himself as the best graduating student.

"Maybe in year one. I mean, the zeal is present in most freshers. But after a while, I just stopped thinking about it. I valued understanding what I was reading and its applications to reading to pass only."

When asked what was his greatest fear as an undergraduate he said,

"Not getting a bed space. I know the challenges student face in getting bed spaces and squatting"

Mr. Jeffrey said he was able to attain the feat due to hard work, diligence, and motivations.

"My motivation was from my friends, my determination to be the best in whatever course I was taking and my mentor (Mr. Adebola Adams). I just loved biochemistry. My mum was always my number one fan, always there to cheer me up"

Jeffrey also made it clear that his Education will continue (MSc, PhD) and he would like to be one of the best Researchers.

Mr. Jeffrey concluded his interview with UNILAGHAPPEN stating the few tips that helped him achieve his goal.

"The first thing is to know yourself. Everyone is different, so whatever worked for me wouldn't necessarily work for someone else. Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.

If you love what you are doing, you will be successful. Love for what you're doing in life can be the greatest motivation you'd ever need and let's not forget about God. Honestly, I don't think I'd have come out with my CGPA with him. No, I wouldn't".

Babawale Oludare Emmanuel

Mr. Babawale Oludare Emmanuel success story is a touching and inspiring one. 24 years old Babawale Oludare gained admission into the department of Chemistry UNILAG in 2013 after writing Jamb twice.

According to Dare, his parent wanted him to study medicine but he never saw himself comfortable with medicine.

"Well, my parents initially wanted me to study medicine and surgery, while some other folks advised me to go for architecture, mechanical engineering etc. due to the talents I exhibited in mathematics, physics etc. which they observed individually. But really my parents didn't know I'm hemophobia, till now. So, I couldn't withstand the sight of blood. During Jamb I guess the celestial beings saw I wasn't for medicine so I fell short by one or two points mostly. So, on another trial, I picked chemistry as a change of course. I harnessed the opportunity to study computer applications in Don Bosco technical institute, Ondo state and I also attended Yaba college of technology (Chemical Science) for OND".

Mr. Dare describe is journey in UNILAG as "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious".

Dare's success story is a testimony. During his final year (first semester) he was hospitalized and had to undergo a surgery. Dare was diagnosed with Perianal abscess and hypertension. According to the doctor, he had hypertension because he read a lot.

"Perianal abscess. Then I was diagnosed with hypertension- they said it had to with too much reading. My dad had to secretly advise me to get a girlfriend to distract me a little. He was actually joking but he was kind of serious. I really don't know what was happening to me. I read my note on the hospital bed while my mate attended class. I felt this was beyond science so I had to turn my burdens over to God. I met God during my time in the hospital and he saw me through."

Dare described himself as the reading type. He reads and never gets tired.

"I don't read in the library, my room overnight. I spent only 20 minutes in total in all the libraries throughout my stay in Unilag. I feel lazy to stop reading".

Dare is also a pronounced introvert. His time in school was spent on reading. Dare didn’t reveal his relationship status to UNILAGHAPPEN.

Dare concluded his interview with some few excelling tips.

“Success is about incorporating more of smart work than hard work. Smart work entails you following the laws behind having good results which must be hinged on self-discipline and persistence even if the results aren't good from the outset."

“I'd like to thank my H.O.D, Prof Okiei, my course adviser, Dr. Idris Olasupo and all the lecturers in the department of chemistry, my classmates: Jumoke, Mubarak, Chioma, Rollanda, Tosin, Tolu, Ope and most of my friends that stood up for me”

Roy-Layinde Bosun

21 years Old Bosun Roy-Larinde is a student from the Department of Chemical engineering. Bosun gained admission in 2012. Mr. Bosun is a good Christian who loves playing games, reading, meeting bright minds and watching football.

Bosun described his journey in the University of Lagos as an exciting and challenging one.

“A whole lot of distraction in UNILAG but I kept my stand. Sincerely it wasn’t by my power, it was all grace but I was disciplined, focused and determined. The journey was very rough but it all came out great eventually”

Rather than limiting himself to the situation of the country, Bosun’s dream from his first year was to graduate with a first class.

I planned on finishing with a first class but never held the goal desperately. I wasn’t competing with anybody, I didn’t want to carry first in class if I solve a problem I share the solutions if people don’t understand I teach them. I didn’t hold it too tight because I believe your grades are like eggs, you’re actually preventing them from falling but if you hold desperately tight, you’ll break them yourselves.

Roy-Layinde Bosun is an exceptional scholar. Bosun combines entrepreneurship with is academics.

When asked what motivated him to the perfect CGPA he said; Well! Cos I actually knew what I was gunning for, as at my year 3; "My CGPA was way good and the expectation from people was just too much, I didn’t want to let myself down and a whole lot of people believed in me. I put in extra efforts, avoided so many things like parties and the likes. Placed my priorities right and did some unusual things"

Bosun didn't let his first-class dreams hinder his social life. He partied at his free time and is also in a healthy relationship.

“I attended parties, balled with friends but all these happened when I had the time for it. Engineering takes a whole lot of your time, a whole lot; so, studying engineering would reduce your social game but if you’re social, you’re social. I have a very beautiful girlfriend. We started dating in my 4th year. She is studying law(500L). I was able to balance my relationship with my academics.

Bosun also disclosed that he hates overnight, he spends most of his reading hours in the library.

Bosun concluded the interview with a word of motivation for upcoming scholars.

“You shouldn’t get moved by the lies of social media, fine yahoo boys with Mercedes; those things don’t last. Face your studies and work super hard. My philosophy about God is “He multiplies not adds” if you have zero, he multiples with 5. So, without your personal work, you’ll still end up with God’s favour, even though he has helped you. So, your biggest fan is yourself, don’t look down on anybody no matter what and if you don’t understand anything, don’t be proud. Always ask”

Mrs. Mutiat Bolanle Ibrahim from the Department of Pharmacognosy emerged the overall Best PhD Thesis.

You've heard the success story from 3 great heroes, it's time for you to make a difference. Just like Peak, it's in you.

Celebrities / Avicii: Rise To Fame And Cause Of Death by IratzsMicheal(m): 10:19am On Apr 28, 2018
Tim Bergling popularly known by the stage name Avicii was a Swedish musician, DJ, remixer and record producer who started his career at the early age of 16. This is an in-depth look at Avicii’s life, death, and search for meaning as we all continue the search for and creation of our own.

The Life of The Boy Who Became Avicii.

Growing up, Tim Bergling was an extremely sensitive and timid kid whose acne outbreaks made him even more shy and withdrawn. As both an introvert and an empathy, he was terrified to speak in front of people. At age 16, Avicii began remixes for songs and shared on electronic dance music forums.

Two years later, a manager stumbled across one of his postings online. At 18, Avicii was invited to a coffee shop for a meeting. Tim had no clue about the business and just wanted to have the chance to DJ in a club instead of his bedroom, but his new manager had a bigger vision in mind for him.

Less than a year after that, Avicii was onstage alongside Madonna.

The kid who started as a bedroom DJ who’s first-ever gig as a DJ was playing to forty students at a high school prom, was now, five years later, commanding $250,000 and up for one night of work to perform in front of thousands. In 2013, he generated $20 million in earnings, followed by $28 million in 2014.

More Money, More Stress.

Avicii kept on chasing his lofty dreams. Avicii dream was to be successful beyond his own expectation but with immense success came immense stress, pressure, and overwhelm. Despite getting to the point of exhaustion, Avicii couldn’t say NO.

“When I started touring I was eighteen years old. I was straight out of high school, I had shows every single day. I completely overdid it.” -Avicii

He didn’t know how to say “no” to the drinks that were shoved into his hands, to the people, to the partying, to the lifestyle.

“I looked at myself like, “Bleep, you should’ve really stood up for yourself more there. Come on, Tim!” Why didn’t I stop the ship earlier ?” -Avicii

Everyone wanted a piece of him to break off and keep for themselves. Wanting to please, wanting to be accepted, and wanting to fit into an industry that pushes hard and promotes more, more, more, Tim kept saying “yes, yes, yes.”

“It’s very easy to become too attached to partying. You become lonely and get anxieties. It becomes toxic.” -Avicii

Stress signs began, softly at first, as they always do. If you ignore them, they become louder. They whisper, they speak, they shout and finally, they scream.

January 2012, Age 22: Avicii Hospitalized in New York for 11 Days.

Tim is hospitalized in New York City with acute pancreatitis, a consequence of heavy drinking. He remains in the hospital for 11 days.

March 2013, Age 23: Avicii Hospitalized in Australia.

Tim is hospitalized again for similar symptoms while on tour in Australia. Doctors urge him to have his gallbladder removed, but he declines.

March 28, 2014, Age 24: Avicii Hospitalized in Miami.

Tim is scheduled to be the headliner at the Ultra music festival in Miami. One day before what would have been his third performance in a row, he is again hospitalized with excruciating pain, fever, nausea, and other symptoms of acute pancreatitis. In the hospital, he learns that not only had his acute pancreatitis returned, but his appendix has burst. Both his gall bladder and his appendix have to be removed.

Five years earlier, Avicii released the song “Alcoholic” with the darkly, unapologetically aware lyrics, “Call it what you wanna call it, I’m a fucking alcoholic.”

The Miami hospitalization was a screaming sign, It’s time to do something different, or else you’re going to die.

“I’m happy I got that hospital visit now, ’cause if not I probably would have still kept going and in a year or two years probably something way worse could have happened. Something that’s irreversible. This is not irreversible at all. It was just kind of a wake-up call.” -Avicii

After all the signs of alcohol side effects on him, Avicii decided to end all his music tours. Excerpts from his retirement letter are as follows:

Hello world,

Thank you for letting me fulfill so many of my dreams. I will be forever grateful to have experienced and accomplished all that I have with the help of the team around me and my beloved fans.

Thank you to every fan who has ever bought a ticket or snuck in, bought a song or downloaded it, commented on posts or hated at them. Its your thoughts and ideas about the music that helped me evolve and I do owe everything I have to you.

My path has been filled with success but it hasn’t come without its bumps. I’ve become an adult while growing as an artist, I’ve come to know myself better and realize that there’s so much I want to do with my life. I have strong interests in different areas but there’s so little time to explore them.

Two weeks ago, I took the time to drive across the U.S. with my friends and team, to just look and see and think about things in a new way. It really helped me realize that I needed to make the change that I’d been struggling with for a while.

My choices and career have never been driven by material things, although I’m grateful for all the opportunities and comforts my success has availed me. I know I am blessed to be able to travel all around the world and perform, but I have too little left for the life of a real person behind the artist.

I will never let go of music — I will continue to speak to my fans through it, but I’ve decided this 2016 run will be my last tour and last shows. Let’s make them go out with a bang!

One part of me can never say never, I could be back …but I won’t be right back.

Tim took drastic action with a bold attempt to save and reclaim his own life. He slowed his ass down from a whirlwind of airports, Red Bull, shows, drinks, and airport food to an entirely different pace sprinkled with animals, friends, adventures in nature, and plenty of studio time, documented on his Instagram.

Avicii visited Africa where he celebrated his 27th birthday and had lots of fun on Africa’s island.

Avicii returned to Los Angeles, started a new lifestyle and shared love with his family.

Tim and his friends flew on to Peru to undergo a plant medicine journey in the Amazonian jungle:

Tim and his crew began their medicine journey with Kambo, also known as Sapo, during which poison is gently collected from an Amazonian tree frog and placed into small burned holes in the skin by a shaman — it is used for purging toxins, negative energy, and negative experiences from your body.

“To me it was something I had to do for my health (decision to quit touring). The scene was not for me. It was not the shows and not the music. It was always the other stuff surrounding it that never came naturally to me. I’m more of an introverted person in general. It was always very hard for me. I took on board too much negative energy, I think.” -Avicii

Tim flew back to LA to release his new EP including “Lonely Together:”

“I just feel happy. I feel free at this point. Like I have my private life back and focusing on myself for the first time in a long time. So far it has paid off tremendously in terms of well-being for me. I’m happier than I have been in a very, very long time. Stress-free more than I have been in a very long time. I can’t say I’m never going to have a show again. I just don’t think I’m going to go back to the touring life.” -Avicii

Tim wrapped up 2017 camping in nature, “being home” in the studio, and with friends, wishing everyone a happy new year.

Early 2018, Tim continued creating, mixing and collaborating. He tagged it studiomode. Tim’s last post on Instagram was taken as he walked across the watery steps of his home in the Hollywood Hills.

Avicii last known picture was taken with his friends aboard a yacht off the Muscat coast. The next day, he was dead.

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii. He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given.”

The Cause of Avicii’s Death
A second statement released by the family of Tim has confirmed he committed suicide.

The statement, translated from Swedish, read:

‘Our beloved Tim was a seeker, a fragile artistic soul-searching for answers to existential questions. A overachieving perfectionist who traveled and worked hard at a pace that led to extreme stress. ‘When he stopped touring, he wanted to find a balance in life to be happy and be able to do what he loved most – music. ‘He really struggled with thoughts about Meaning, Life, Happiness. He could not go on any longer. He wanted to find peace. Tim was not made for the business machine he found himself in; he was a sensitive guy who loved his fans but shunned the spotlight. ‘Tim, you will forever be loved and sadly missed. The person you were and your music will keep your memory alive. ‘We love you, Your family.’

The essence of this post is to state that Avicii was a Black-Star — an astronomical term for a star that shines so brightly, it burns out and dies, leaving its mass behind.

"We All Reach A Point In Our Lives And Careers Where We Understand What Matters The Most To Us" – Avicii

Ultimately, it is not about how he died. It is about how he lived, why it matters, and what we can do about it.

Tim Bergling died at the age 28 in Muscat, Oman. Rest In Peace Tim Bergling.

Celebrities / Opinion: Why Wizkid Couldn’t Make It To The Coachella Stage by IratzsMicheal(m): 5:35pm On Apr 25, 2018
Not all Nigerian artists get to perform on big international stages. The international stage is for artist who has shaken the world with their music. Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival happens to be one of the biggest Music Festival stage which every artist aspires to perform on. Wizkid got this big opportunity to perform at Coachella but he was absent.

Wizkid was listed as a top artist to perform at the first leg of 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival along side Beyonce, Eminem and The Weekend but the Ojuelegba crooner missed the event.

Wizkid was dragged and called out on twitter after Coachella organizers revealed Wizkid will be absent.

Wizkid later shared on his twitter page that he will not be able to make it to Coachella because his band encountered visa troubles.

So many reactions evolved on twitter but Wizkid was able to calm the atmosphere with replies and a bit of savagery. Wizkid deleted some of the tweet from his page after serious dragging on twitter street.

Wizkid who earlier promised that he will perform at the second leg of Coachella once again was absent. Wizkid absence didn’t get more attention as #BBNaija was the trending topic.

Wizkid hasn’t made any comment on why he was absent at the second leg of Coachella but we at MusicPlugAfrica feel this could have been some of the reasons why Wizkid was absent at Coachella.

Band’s VISA Issues
As earlier complained, Wizkid couldn’t make it to the first leg of Coachella because the band had issues with their VISA. Wizkid has a music culture of always performing with his band no matter how small or large the crowd. Wizkid band could not resolve their VISA issues which was a setback for Wizkid.

Coachella Organization
Wizkid could have choose to perform with a new band but wasn’t offered the opportunity. Other big name international artist who at-times fall short of the full members of their band are always provided with new band but Wizkid’s story was different. Wizkid also indirectly made this known with the hashtag #GhettoBoyStory

Monetary Terms
Wizkid is a big name artist and cost over 10 million naira to book the artist for a show like Coachella. This could have also resulted in his absence as Coachella could have failed meeting up with his monetary demand.

Wizkid is however billed to perform at the AfroRepublik Indoor Festival holding on May 26, 2018 at the 02 arena in London, we wait to see if the Starboy and his band will be showing up this time.

Some areas are earmarked for this particular class, example is Ibeju-lekki, it is popularly known as the “New Lagos”, because the development of Lagos State is moving towards the axis, projects like the Dangote Refineries, Lekki Free trade Zone, Lekki deep sea port, the proposed New international Airport, etc. are already under construction or in plans. People that buy land in surrounding areas are speculators with a good Vision.
For immediate use: Some people are tired of paying rent or need another source of income. They know they can afford to build their own house, hotel, shopping mall, school, etc. So they go on to buy land to build on it immediately. The prices of these lands are going to be on the high side, since they most likely are closer to development.
For Farming: This is a different ball game, it is purely for investment purpose, and these type of lands come at a very cheap price, but are mostly far away from development.. There are areas already approved for agriculture by the government, so you should buy land for agricultural use only in the approved locations.
So, which category do you fall under. You should know that you can fall under all of the 3 categories, depending on your need and how deep your pocket is.

DO A SEARCH FOR THE LAND IN YOUR PREFERRED LOCATION WITH A BUDGET IN MIND

You can search for land on major property pages like Tolet.com and Nigeria property centre . You will see a large variety of estate agents with different properties for sale, you will only need to be careful by following step 3 before making payment for any land.

Sellerrand Realty Ltd has put together a limited number of genuine properties, both Land and Houses for sale and rent. These properties have been well vetted by our professional team, and we can guarantee you 100% that nothing will go wrong, we even help you through the purchase process.

“Don’t go to the market with all your money, have a budget in mind before you leave your house, so you don’t end up buying the unnecessary”….. so the saying goes.

Even though nothing is unnecessary with real estate, one should have a budget in mind and also a preferred location. This will help streamline your search and reduce the stress involved.

It’s quite possible sometimes that you might need to go over your budget to purchase Land of your choice, please don’t fret, you’re investing for your future and that of your loved ones, you can only reap better returns on your investment within a short period.

Many people only plan for the purchase fee. Once you’ve made the purchase, you will need to start processing the true ownership of the property, which means trying to perfect the title of the property to your name. I Your budget should include Legal fees, Agency Fees, Survey Plan, Cost of signing the documents, Cost of putting up a fence to secure your land immediately you purchase it, Cost of perfecting your documents with the Government at the Land Registry such as a C of O, Governors Con

DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE CHECK ON THE LAND.
Now you have seen a few properties of your choice, and it’s time to make that final decision to buy…

wait!!!!!! Not so fast… you don’t want to lose your money, right? Then you need to do your due diligence check on the said property. Here are a few things to check for:

The location of the land, and it’s coordinates
A survey plan of the said property. This is very important, there are a lot of information of the land that can be found on the survey, like the name of the owners of the land, the coordinates, size, dimension, shape, the date it was registered and also major highlights in the area like the distance to the main road.
Please note that you should only accept a registered survey, signed and stamped by the surveyor general’s office.

The Excision file number / Gazette Volume number: For land that is said to have excision already or under processing or a Gazette, The excision file number or Gazette Volume number should be provided for you to use to check at the Land Bureau at Alausa, Ikeja.
The C of O should be sighted and the C of O file number should be provided for check as well.
When you get to the Land bureau at Alausa, Ikeja, you’ll be told the status of the land.

Once you find out that the land is genuine, then you can go back to the owners for further discussion.

Should in case they say that the land is not what the owners say it is. Please do not consider buying.

Ask if there are any encumbrances on the land
BE AWARE OF THE EXTRA CHARGES. ASK QUESTIONS

Please do not feel shy to ask the developer questions about the property.

Ask these things:

What other fees are there to be paid for the land? You’ll hear things like, survey, deed of assignment, developmental fees. These fees are most times mandatory to pay before you can get allocated to your plots, but you might not necessarily have to pay it immediately, you can pay over a couple of years.
What documents am I getting when I buy? Usually you get the deed of assignment, contract of sale and survey. But please ask.
What is the project timeline for building the estate infrastructure amongst other things?

MAKE PAYMENT AND KEEP RECORD

Once you’ve known these basic things and you’re convinced, then you can move on to make the purchase and keep record.

Please do not pay cash to anyone, make sure your transaction is traceable by paying through bank transfer or cheque

This is to protect your interest should in case any issue arises.

on your budget, do a full research on your area of interest. The reasons you must do the search is because you must verify the owner, how he got the land previously, why he wants to sell, what is prompting him to sell whether there is any dispute or litigation that he wants to shift the burden to you or he has bought a very bad land and wants to dispose it quickly before the problem manifests into something bigger or he has dubious and unreliable documents that do not confer title or ownership to him, so he is looking for the nearest fool or unsuspecting buyer to pass that problem to. Also you will have to investigate the land to know whether it’s genuinely a good land, a land that isn’t under government acquisition or not, a land that is not subject to any communal or legal dispute, a land that doesn’t run afoul of government regulations etc. A proper research about the land will save you from regrets.

USE A TRUSTED REALTOR FOR YOUR PROPERTY ENDEAVORS

You might be the busy type who doesn’t have much time to follow all of these steps thoroughly, and of course, you don’t want anything to go wrong, so you might need capable hands to help you in the process.

Celebrities / 10 Types Of Relationship You’ll Find In UNILAG by IratzsMicheal(m): 8:45am On Apr 16, 2018
Relationship in UNILAG has taken a new dimension. Some are funny while others are just pathetic. I’ve made a least of the 10 types of relationship we see on campus and the funny aftermath of everything. Enjoy.

1. FRIEND-ZONE

This is the most practiced type of relationship in UNILAG. Mostly done by girls. She takes advantage of the guy(s) interest and not extending the same level of affection. You’ll hear “He is my bestie, BFF” etc… Lot of guys have been trapped in this cave from year one to final year, some even have Whatsapp groups.

2. FRIENDS WITH BENEFIT (FWB):

Two close friends who think it would be fun to have sex with each other again and again. These ones have sex in ANY weather they find themselves. The guy doesn’t need to have tto much money, just shuku shuku. Until one falls in love and gets their heart broken when the other doesn’t want a relationship. Episode of this relationship are what we read on UNILAGHOESTORIES Instagram page.

3. COUPLE’S LIFE:

These ones are not married but do practically everything together. E.g dress uniformly to class, have close CGPA. The guys buy food stuffs while the girl cooks the food. This type of relationship occurs mostly among Year 1 students.

4. YORUBA DEMONS:

Yoruba demons is typically a young man who has the uncanny gift to effortlessly make ladies fall head over heels in love with him. Mostly among the rich guys. This relationships lacks commitment and faithfulness. The guy at least has over 30 girls he is dating just for free mekwe.

5. WIFE MATERIALS:

These ones have future ambitions, they look well before they leap, they spot prospects. They can cook, they are cultured and well behaved and don’t double date. Don’t be deceived. We still have them around in UNILAG but they are scarce.

6. Bleep BOYS:

These ones live fake lives just to impress their preys, they enjoy their youth but destroying their future. You can easily spot them from their CGPA and dressing style. Some of them even wear 3 designers on one shoe Nuke, Abiddas and Guccio.

7. WANNABEES:

These ones have very low self-esteem, they are beautiful without brains and their body is their biggest asset. They crave for fame without anything to offer. Awon werey.

8. NO STRINGS ATTACHED:

They are not in love with each other and never gonna be. They offer prepaid and pay on delivery services. These are the buy me chicken and chips girls. Survey shows Makama Hall and Moremi Hall girls fit into this.

9. NO FUTURE AMBITION (NHA):

These ones usual slogan is “I don’t know” and truly they don’t know. They don’t have mind of their own, accept anyone that comes their way and cannot identify any opportunity.

10. MY EVERYTHING EVERYTHING:

This is the new trend. It also surfaced between Nina and Miracle in BBNaija. Mostly among girls. They give food, sex and fake relationship with a guy meanwhile they’ve got a boyfriend.
