BadRadio:Your point(Seun) is pointless. When do you think we will be ready? You want to hang on the fence with excuses till you are 50, 60 years. |
[quote author=jumper524 post=120724492]The moment you have a different opinion, these set of individuals begins to bring in your family history and measure your success. Has Peter asked himself why the previous leaders failed? You think they don't have good plans or better policy to implement? When fella kuto tells you Nigerians are their own problems. He's not sugar quoting his words. Everyday on TV and radio stations, they keep talking about how bad leadership is the problem of Nigeria nobody is talking about bad followership. Let me give you a good example. MY secondary school GSSkuje is a govt school with Ssubsidized school fees. As at 2011 during my ss2 days, we paid 12k as school fees for boarding. We were fed at least an average size of meal 3times daily. In some situation, there's are excess of food and we go for double ration. In very rare occasion food doesn't reach everybody. It can happen atmost 5times a term. As at then we were 44 in class (commercial class), while A class which is science had the most 55. Learning was easier and effective. Last year I visited the school and its been divided into 2 sessions. Morning and evening. The science class had about 100students. Learning is now more difficulty. Ask yourself why is it like this? The school fees is less than 15k. More classes has been built compared to when I was there. But now the school is a shadow of it former self. If my father who had three boys and pays his task sent two of his three children to a Ssubsidized govt school, is it fair with mr Bongo (name was modified not to offend anyone) who has 17 children and manages to send 9 to the sane govt school. Subsidy that's meant for us all. Only 1 man sent 9 children to benefit from. If nobody talks about our ever increasing population with this our hate attitude of improving our personal productivity we would never get anywhere. Politicians would only try no matter how Good they are but it'll end in shabbles. In the 90s there were less amount of Lea schools but then education was effective. Our leaders have increased the number of schools compared to the 90s but education is very ineffective. The leaders have fulfilled their campaign promises of building more schools but has the masses fulfilled its? Nigeria ain't China and we don't have as much brains as China, we better cut our coat to our sizes. You are talking about population increase and, government can still regulate population, if we have a government that cares. Most western countries, they will inquire what visitor coming to do and the amount you have with. They will first consider the amount of resources they have for their citizens before visitors. |
Am just seeing people but no project... |

[quote author=Tellwhat post=114072578]So many people wouldn't have bothered voting if the race was between just atiku and tinubu. Unless those that mostly want to receive something for their vote I mean why on earth should I spend my quality time to stand on the qué just to vote for either of this men. It's between choosing the devil and the deep blue sea and it's hard to even tell which of them is which Peter obi followers are organic and working class citizens that are fed up of the state of leadership. We're tired of I don't care leaders that can't even address the citizens or represent our best interest even when abroad The good thing about Peter obi is that if he wins it will be fully obvious that the Nigerian people elected him there..and if he messes up (which I don't see happening) then the citizens will kick him out in the next election For goodness sake we need to not only uplift ourselves but Africa and the entire black race. We're the number one black country in the world and it's a shame we're failing so much when we should be competing with USA, China etc or atleast close. Peter obi is not a magician but atleast he will usher in a new era..An era were we have thinking leaders. An era were power belongs to the people It's time that Nigerian leaders realize power belongs the citizens. Any government that underperforms needs to be voted out We're not puppets. We want better leaderships Well said! |

What is the grand reception for? Would even his visit make any difference? When he was expected to have visited to calm the situation and condole with the affected people but he didn't do so. |
[quote author=fergie001 post=101173944]A former Minister of Solid Minerals and later Education, Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili, said she was determined since 2007 that she would never accept a ministerial appointment again. The former World Bank Vice President, said this in a series of tweets yesterday, adding that she had rejected past ministerial appointments. The former minister’s tweet came barely weeks after the "boy she took under her wings in 2011", Japheth Omojuwa, said in an open letter that she was expected to be appointed a Minister by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015. Who ask this wide mouth? Person wey no fit hold on to ordinary presidential ticket till election day, that one na person. |
Rickylambert:If you think that the locally made gun deed all these magic, if not as a result of negligence and unexposed to first aid from the people around, then, such a gun should be adopted as a weapon of war and should be given to the military and police. |
