Webmasters / Re: Have You Ever Wondered, Why Are Web Addresses In English? by iriferi(m): 2:21pm On Oct 19, 2016 |
ChemicalReaction: Ok, let me break it down a bit for you. An IP address known as Internet Protocol is a string of unique numbers that identifies a computer to a particular network. Let's say for example: you're connected to the network of your school. This connection is like a bluetooth connection, but the difference is, it is a number that looks something like this: 216.3.128.12. This number is so unique because it is different from other numbers that belong to other computers in that same network of your school. Now, although you have a unique ip address, it looks hard to start memorizing those numbers. Let's say you are having a hard time connecting to your school's network and you want to diagnose the issue. You want to know if the necessary connection on your end is intact, then you can try to connect back to yourself through a process called pinging (loop back) Now the technologist across the world decided that you can use 127.0.0.1 to ping yourself and check if your computer is working perfectly in terms of connection. Apparently, when you type that number into the url space of your web browser eg mozilla firefox, chrome etc, it will comeback to you and as such 127.0.0.1 is called localhost or home. Got it? |

When you decide to work or live abroad that's when you will see the relevance of Bsc. Not saying Hnd isn't good either. You can compare both in Nigeria, but once you decide to try outside (eg US, UK, Canada or Australia) you'll recognise the difference. But 3rd class sha. 3 Likes |

hustla:From my first day to this very point in time, I haven't experienced racism. I've heard people talk about it but I have not experience it. There are times when my white friends show more concerns towards me than even my Naija friends. I've been showed more love by people I don't even expect to receive love from. If I'm to make a choice over again, I'll pick Australia gladly. 3 Likes |

@Triggeredsam, I'll take my time to reply you post here and don't quote me again. 1. you say I work for one of these agencies. You should ask about me from Futuredon and Marlking. These are individuals that are well known here and they've met me. May be just may be you'll know something about me. 2. You talk about shortest route. Let me ask you, between 573 and 572 which one is the shortest route to Australia? haha, you can't answer that here. 3. You talk about 573 courses being over $10,000. No doubt about that. what you fail to understand is that Tuition fee is not base on visa subclass. Dude are you sure you know what you're typing? Let's take for example UQ AND griffith. Both schools are under SVP, if you doubt that ask futuredon he is a student of UQ. but the tuition fee of UQ is over $10,000 per semester. How do I know that? like I said in my last post I researched. 4. just because you set a trap for the rats in your house does not mean that all the rats will be caught by that trap. 5. I got nothing to explain to you here. No one is perfect, not even the rat that scaled your rat trap. 6. Dude Australian students are also paying their fees if you don't know. the difference is just the amount they pay is different from what International students pay. Come on! do you even research before writing these stuffs? Na their country for crying out loud. 7. those 60% that don't have a degree please show me the top Management position held by them? From the above I hope I have been able to open that your closed eye that is telling you that you can just leave Naija and enter another person's country and demand that you get the same treatment as them. Peace, have a lovely New Year 7 Likes |

Happy New Year Fam. Now let's get down to business. I want to make it clear that just because your course of study is under 572 svp doesn't make it cheaper when compared to that of 573. because I read where Triggered... was implying that. Secondly, while you're in Australia and you find it hard to pay your fees you can apply to pay bits by bits. How do I know this? I asked questions from the finance department in my school. Furthermore, if worse comes to worse you can defer. I've seen students defer a semester. In addition to all that's written above, if you can provide Statement of account that shows that you're financially stable please do. Finally from what I've observed while reading Pretoria's decision on student it seems 572 is a trap. if possible any visa applicant from this Region (Africa) and Nigeria should apply under Al3/573. Peace. Have a lovely New Year everyone 5 Likes |

chetaRay:you don't need to send your SOA to griffith to get an ECOE. tell them to give yiu your ECOE. they already have it with them. Don't smile, be serious about it. it is also written in the griffith handbook. after payment of the required amount of tuition fees and OSHC you'll get your ECOE. |
Travel / Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by iriferi(m): 5:56am On Nov 16, 2015 |
chetaRay:it is not normal for them to hold your ECOE pending when you provide a statement of account. that said, BCIE has a 90% success rate when it comes to Australia Visa (I guess) and so they are trying to maintain that record. what branch of bcie? Abuja or Lagos? |
Travel / Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by iriferi(m): 5:38am On Nov 15, 2015 |
eben1991:the former procedure is to go to Abuja for a renewal. I think you have to present a police report about the stolen one. but it's no big deal. I don't know if they do renewal in Lagos. All I know is that it cost more in lagos than abuja. because the Immi officers will still bring your application to abuja |
