@Flyca, what oga bellong is saying is this:

The importance/relevance of getting those work experience is to acquire migration points, which in turn is to get Invitation To Apply ITA (Higher points mean quicker ITA, got it?).

Once ITA is gotten, the points become irrelevant, as DHA will be more focused on the genuineness of your application and documents submitted.

It's good to post once in a while mhen.

oga Bellong I greet ooo...

It doesn’t have to be at your location before you can write, you can check a center/state closest to you. Same goes for IELTS as most of their slots for the year is closing out.
“Ire” is a Yoruba word meaning “best wishes” or “goodies”.

Oh, Ok. Thanks boss.

my location is like 8 hours drive from the nearest centre. the only way I can attend it is through flight. I no be boss ooo. we still dey push, hustle and grind.

**UPDATED**
Found the page where IELTS materials were posted. It is page 327 by Solitin_40

This question has seriously been overflogged. This is it: PTE is “automatic” while IELTS is “manual”. You’ll make a choice based on your own competence. There a lotta practice questions online...e2language, ieltsbuddy, there’s an attachment on page 308 or so...just make a diligent search and appraisal of yourself, then come back here to tell us how you made 20points in English test. Ire ò.

**UPDATED**
Thank you boss for the reply. I just checked now and I can't write PTE because there is no centre for it in my location.

IELTS is my best bet right now.

What is Ire o? lol

Hello everyone. Please quick question.

Between PTE and IELTS which one is easy?
Which one will you advice someone to take?

And can anyone that have a very good practice material for these exams point me to the direction please.

Thank you my people.

**UPDATE**
I Can't write PTE because it doesn't have a test centre close to me.

Thank you.

Check out reasons I will hate Nigeria if I wasn't Nigerian

http://www.babasalami.com/2017/06/reasons-i-will-hate-nigeria-if-i-wasnt.html

I read your article, and it has some sense in it. While you're busy listing points to buttress your opinion, you forgot to see that you're also part of the problem.

First and foremost, all your examples to point out corruption is either from the South East or from the South South (Ibori, Alison ).
In addition to the above, you only saw the part where the senate refuse to approve Magu as EFCC chairman because he was investigating the corruption committed by most of them(which is true), but you forgot that Magu also have a case against him.
Please don't play double standard in your analysis.

Australia uses the right hand drive method. In other word, they drive on the left hand side. Steering is on the right hand side.

[s]I thought of not responding to your limited knowledge and insult but then I am not one who fails to address misconceptions. For all there is, from your overbearing assumption and ranting you could be a lad who needs attention.[/s]

I read what you wrote up here, and all I can say is "Nonsense!" absolute "Nonsense!!!".

First of, do we all look stupid to you? Do you know what making a reasonable offer is? Because what you put up there doesn't look like it came from someone reasonable.

It seem you don't understand what this platform is all about, so I'll state it in the most simplest of terms.

This platform is created so that we can help our fellow humans, most especially Nigerians. Now making emphasis on the word "help" does your offer look as if you're helping anybody? Or you think because you have some dollars and you want to sell it to individuals who are desperate you can place it at any amount? Bros no make me insult you ooo.

Infact let me just go full mode on you. You said I have limited knowlege, I thank God for giving me "limited" knowledge to understand that I don't have to cheat people to assume that that's the way He (God) is going to bless me. You with your vast knowledge does not even know the average exchange rate, not to talk of helping out to reduce the plight of individuals in this platform.

Everyone take a look at this guy, few months back or last year he was here begging people to give him information about Australia parole. And people gave him the listening ear he wanted. Now he is back offering AUD at 380Naira when even the black market is selling at 330 to 340 (and he calls it offer instead of "Evil"wink.

He also said he force it on no one (lol), if your offer is reasonable just as "you are" why not take it to dollar exchange platforms? Abi you no know where Dem dey? There's Cash remit, there's also western union and money gram in Australia.

Chairman! Don't be stupid please, we are not kids here. If you want to give people offer give them offer. Don't do what you're doing, it's lame.

Finally you're praying to God to bless those that desire good things and you're also praying for those who wish you bad, please where did anyone pray for you to fail? I only drew your attention to karma na im you turn MFM lol. Please don't call the name of the Lord in vain.

Sorry to everyone who find my post abusive, I can't just take it anymore. We're suffering from bad governance, we should now join the wickedness of our fellow human to that? Tufiakwa!

Hello,

Thanks.
I'm not going to sugar coat it, I'll tell you as it is. What you're doing is evil, it's wickedness, it's barbaric and heartbreaking. People like you are the ones who always call the government and those in power all manners of names but are more evil than those they are insulting.

If Cash remit, world remit and the likes offered you #380/AUD why didn't you use them? Because you know some students really need this dollar you're trying to cheat them out of the little they could afford.
Shame on you! And I am going to tell you this. Karma is real! It might not come back to you the same way you are to others but it will surely come.
Change your ways!

There are post the mods should delete, yours is one of those post and you should be banned.

Offering to offer someone 18.181% increase and tagging it "help" is pure evil. And I will not sit down and read it and you expect me to swallow it hook, line and sinker.
This right here is the problem we have in Nigeria. While others are trading their dollar at a not so reasonable (but manageable) rate of 330/335, someone from somewhere just comes and increase it to 390 and you said we should see it as "help". My brother "Fear God."
Yes I am a student here in Australia, but I don't have dollar to sell and even if I do, I won't sell it at that rate.
It is better if I don't have the dollar to sell, than for me to have it and put a tag of 390/AUD and still make you see it as help.
Bro, there is nothing like help in that. Let's stop painting evil as good just because we're in a time of trouble.
The will of God will never take you,
Where the grace of God cannot keep you.
Where the arms of God cannot support you,
Where the riches of God cannot supply your needs,
Where the power of God cannot endow you.
Thank you!

Actually, people don't really use worldremit anymore as there are other platforms that offer better rate at no transfer charges.

Although the 390/$A is ridiculous but two transfer platforms as at yesterday offered 337/$A

Yes boss, I know about Cash remit and other remit; and most Nigerians tend to use that to trade their dollar. But this dude is using "His remit" and "his exchange rate" and calling it help.

This info is for those of us who is looking for a way around $ wahala.... I just spoke with a guy who is willing to help but his rate is on the high side #390 to $A 1. According to him, his bro in UK will do the transaction through worldremit while you pay into an account here in naija.

Tell the guy to keep his dollar (God will provide help for those who need dollar).
Tell him I said what he's proposing is evil, greed and above all wickedness.
The picture I attached to this post is world remit's exchange rate at the moment. Some Nigerians are using dollar scarcity to deal with fellow Nigerians using "help" as a disguised word.

This is not correct based on the interview granted by the president of Association of BDC on Bussiness Morning. This is the information posted on their website "NOTICE OF THE CBN APPROVED RATES FOR THE DISBURSEMENT OF IMTO PROCEEDS FOR THE WEEK 16TH JAN TO 20TH JAN 2017

1/17/2017

We wish to inform all ABCON members and the general public that the CBN approved rates for the disbursement of IMTO proceeds to BDCs for the week 16th Jan to 20th Jan 2017 are:- 1. Funding Rate-N381/USD 2. Selling Rate-N399/USD Also note that the volume to be sold to each BDC is US8,000.00 Thank you. Uduma, Cletus O Executive Secretary"

It is also correct that each operator got 8,000USD and i am so sure you cannot get to buy at the rate quoted by BDC of N399 to Dollar.

Read that, you're right. My bad

Information was not verified but you lose nothing if you walk up to a registered BDC to make enquiries. N399 to a dollar not bad if it checks out.

Update: Learnt it's just about $8k per BDC

When you are 'ready' to pay your school fees you will pay her to make the Form A transaction faster 260k is nothing compared to the amount you will save with black market. Friends and family members abroad sell to Abokis because of the gains which i don't blame them because i will do the same am not saying you can't be favoured because with God all things are possible
Yes 260k is nothing, what I'm not comfortable with is paying it before the transaction is completed.

I spoke to my bank last week to see if I can pay my tuition fee and I was informed that there is no forex, and they (bank) don't even know when the next forex window will open. Now if i don't make payment for my tuition fee, I'll have to take a leave of absence (defer) from the semester, and if I do that I won't be able to enrol next semester as the remainder of my courses are semester 1 courses (i.e., I can't study those courses in semester 2). Compliments of the season.

I arrived Melbourne yesterday and settled for a temporary accommodation.

Just a quick question... What's the best place to convert currency in Melbourne?
I didn't do it at the airport.

Most malls have Western Union/MoneyGram. Look for the nearest mall in your suburb.
