A very foolish old man who has taken leave of his senses. A real agbaya trying to promote an illegality. The mind boggles that we have elders like this whose moral compass is no longer functional in a society where values that were once held sacrosanct have been thrown into the murky waters of get rich quick societal ills like "Yahoo scamming and 419. And to think that this mor.nic clown who thinks he is talking sense, by giving senseless advice in support of criminality is someone's dad or grandfather beats the imagination. officialwdhtv: |
Family / Re: If You Knew What You Know Now, Would You Marry Your Spouse? by Irunmole(m): 8:38pm On Jun 30, 2023 |
No! I would not had married her. The biggest mistake and most regretful decision of my life. Secretive, insular, vengeful and unforgiving woman. No support of any kind. Never forthcoming with inputs and contributions on decisions on major projects that we needed to take as a couple , critical decisions that would take us and our family forward. Ended up being married but lonely and alone! Nothing but regret and despair. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Kingcalls: wasspord: You're waxing lyrical for Max for his obviously very dangerous manoeuvre, driving into Hamilton's space and path and not yielding. Thank God Lewis came out unscathed through providence and improvements to F1 cars especially with incorporation of the protective 'Halo'. It could have been worse but it wasn't. Max has been rightly judged by the stewards to be in the wrong with three grid penalty points given to him for the Russian grand prix. Yes he's ambitious and wants to win the championship, he just has to temper his irrational and somettimes reckless i-don't-care typical driving style with common sense and better sense of judgement else someone might get killed or seriously injured if he's not out in check by Christian Horner of Red Bull who bleats and complains about anything that involves Lewis, however legal and legitimate, driving wise. He, Max, has to show some respect and maturity which he clearly lacks for Lewis. To be a seven times champion is no joke. Walking away from the scene of a crash without checking on the safety of your fellow driver actually reduced his worth as a would be champion in my estimate. It's not the done thing. He has to grow up and grow up fast in his current position as the young pretender to Lewis Hamilton's crown. But before then, he has to drive with his brain fully engaged at all times. 2 Likes |
Career / Re: Why Are People In These Professions Very Rude? by Irunmole(m): 12:19am On Nov 24, 2020 |
Only in Nigeria and some other third world countries where customer services are lacking, where little or no value is placed on human lives in our rundown hospitals and public/private sector establishments. Be rude to your customers or service users in the Western world and get fired from your job on the spot. Attitudes need to change with ample dose of the right types of training. The customer is always right is not just an empty saying. |

Lagos is one big super slum, a glorified potpourri of all that is gross and dirty. Was born and raised there but you cannot pay me enough to live there. This is sheer wickedness, ignorance and high-level illiteracy. She's an elderly woman who is probably suffering from some form of dementia, alzheimers or some other forms of neuro-degenerative diseases of the brain due to old age. There are no basis for this type of barbaric treatment of the old and aged in a "supposedly sane society" as depicted. Absolutely disgusting. What if it were their mother or grandmother that is being publicly humiliated and maltreated in the name of some dead-beat, superstitious, backward belief in witches and withcraft? Crude and cruel treatment of someone that should be receiving comprehensive medical care in some facilities where human lives are held sacred and valued. Animals. 1 Like |

Your so called Chief of staff of the Nigerian army, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai is a clueless, unintelligent, inarticulate, low quality dunce and dullard of a "General" who could not answer simple questions posed to him by Stephen Sackur of the BBC on their signature programme, HARDTALK. It was a deplorably sorry sight seeing a whole Chief of army staff of the Nigerian army unable to answer simple straight-forward questions, neither was he able to string up a robust defence of himself against all the allegations levelled at him both in his personal and official capacity. He looked morose,tongue-tied, and a pitiable sight to watch fidgeting and floundering sheepishly like a two year old dunce. I felt ashamed for him watching Stephen Sackur ease off asking him anymore brain-bursting piercing questions. Chief of army staff my eye. Mtcheeew. For those in doubt, you can watch your dunce of a chief of army staff here. Please feel free to draw up your own conclusion. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b08x1zr5/hardtalk-lt-general-tukur-yusuf-buratai-chief-of-army-staff-nigeria 1 Like |

Efewestern: @Efewestern, the best way to a learn a language, especially your mother tongue, Uvwie (Urhobo)is to make a conscious effort at speaking, listening to and interacting with speakers of the language both young and old. With time, you'll become proficient and adept at speaking it to the extent that you'll probably be spicing up your words and sentences with proverbs and idioms learnt from seasoned speakers of Uvwie. The first step is always the most difficult but courageous one to take. Osonobrugwe dabo fio keye! 1 Like |

The (White?) lady seen speaking fluent impeccable Urhobo in the video is Nancy, she is mixed raced, spent the best part of her life growing up in Warri, Nigeria but was actually born in the UK. She is actively involved in Urhobo socio-cultural affairs here in the UK where she resides. She puts those who take pride in speaking pidgin English to the detriment of their mother tongue to shame. They do no justice to their cultural heritage at all. She is a joy to listen to and interact with at close quarters. She's as Urhobo and Nigerian/British as they come. By the way, she was married to a fellow Urhobo, a Nigerian. Emo r'uvwie, mama yon r'emo ma obo r'u me j'uvwie. Uvwie General!!!. Ma rega gwa, abu'vwie, erun erun. Uvwie wado, Urhobo wado, Isoko wado. This fucking, lazy, shameless, drug taking, blood sucking, gold digging, sorry arse specimen slowpoke of a man called Teebillz of a worthless man had the guts to brand the mother of his poorly treated wife and grandmother to his son a witch. It's indeed a big shame on his part for him to go so low as to resort to such extreme extent, to want to inflict maximum damage to the psyche and state of mental health if his estranged hardworking talented wife. Celia Savage, Tiwa Savage's mother is one of the most humble, kind, easy - going, good natured, mild mannered, intelligent and enlightened woman o e can be privileged and opportune to know and be around. A non assuming lady of immense quality as a human being. I say all these about having known and worked with her here in the UK, where she toiled night and day, through thick and thin to raise and support Tiwa all the way through every closed doors of opportunities until finally achieving her e dreams of stardom. It's disgraceful and shameful for Teebillz to want to destroy his wife's career and the whole family setup of both his and his estranged wife's. Where is his dignity and swlf worth as a man? Do not drag an innocent woman, your mother in law into your self made mess. She is not a witch. You need to beg whichever God or deity you call on, or pray to, for forgiveness for the unnecessary hurt that you caused everyone, most especially, the destruction of your life and marriage through wrong choices, poor decisions and lack of care and support for your wife. Thank you. Irunmole. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

He is the Olu of Itsekiri and not the Olu of Warri, as there is a Supreme Court ruling reverting the misapplied title of Olu of Warri, which is a misnomer, to.the Olu of Itsekiri on the death of the last but one Olu in the person of the late Ogiame Atuwatse. The correct and appropriate title of the newly installed Olu, is the Olu of Itsekiri. Thank you. 2 Likes 1 Share |

haibe: Your "domestic animal" is still a dangerous animal that can kill and maim without any reason other than on inbred instinct as a wild but tame animal. Remember, your Alsatian dog, "bingo" or jack" is a tame Wolf that can turn around and maul you or your loved one to death in an instant. Sound qualitative education is priceless, spend some time and money to acquire it for better understanding of the matter being talked about. |

WarRLaY:I shudder at the thought of me trying to reason with and educate someone with such immature and underdeveloped mind like yourself,. Yes, there are laws protecting wildlife in Nigeria. The problem with the country and its citizens is that the enforcement of such laws, like most laws in the country is next to nothing and is exactly why there's pervasive wanton lawlessness everywhere. Please educate yourself, and learn more about issues before jumping headlong into drawing conclusions. I would gladly protect and redirect such harmless and magnificent creature elsewhere where it poses no harm to man where it can live and breathe the same air in peace, just like you, a one-grain brain ignorant buffoon . By the way, I live in a country and society where nature and wildlife are admired and valued for their beauty, and the enrichment of the lives of the people and society as a whole. |

So backward and uneducated in Nigeria and Africa about conserving and protecting nature and other inhabitants of our ecosystem. That was a non poisonous reticulated python that was simply doing what comes as second nature to it, hunt for food, that those illiterates ignorantly killed and ate. What cruelty, what a shame, what revulsion?! Europeans, Asians and other races and societies conserve whereas Africa and its horde of ignoramus citizens and peoples only know how to maim, kill, consume and destroy. |
