The middle income earners won't see the need to bring out N2500 to go to the cinema and watch a movie they could buy 150naira in pirated copies.
We have a weak Copyright system in the country at the moment.

The lesser income earners that eats from daily proceeds will not bring out N2500 to go and watch a movie at the cinema or buy an original DVD at N1500 for instance.

The average Nigerians do not have that much zeal either as everyone is focused on their families first and rarely have time for entertainment except on Home videos.
And most of them are only free on Sundays and Christmas holidays.

The rich, well...I don't know the stats here, but they cannot make up a large majority of movie goers.

A lot of things to consider, but it can be done. If cinema's are built in most towns and cities all over the country, market it well and induce that cinema going culture, then Nollywood will start making big budget movies.
