I don't think people are actually happy by default. I could be wrong though. Those people that appear happy all the time have just mastered their feelings. They have separate box for everything in their heads . If they're alone, they will open the box with their problems, once they step out, they will open fresh box for outsiders.

They're unhappy but it's hidden.

What I have come to understand is that happiness is temporary, we need to keep doing things that make us happy to be happy. Things like solving our problems. There's no stage one will get in life and they will become happy permanently.

And to be happy, we need problems . The best happiness comes from solving problems. Once one finds a partner, he or she will be happy because one problem has been solved but in solving that one, they have created others.

They will be happy for a while and that's all, to be happy in marriage, they will need to solve the daily problems that comes in marriage.

nobody is responsible for anybody's happiness except themselves.it is the individual That will DEVISE a way to create his/ her own happiness to keep you Sane and functional.look around you turn on the tv to watch news,it will make you angry and sad, drive on the road,some reckless bikeman will almost cause an accident and not still have the humility to apologize, you will get to work,some employer will not pay you your salary at the end of the month then you now have a marriage that doesn't give you happiness? There are schools that have Zero tolerance for bullying whether verbal, physical or emotional and the consequences for such is expulsion.i was blessed by God to finish from such schools ( I don't want to mention the name of the school) and there are CCTV cameras all around the school corridors, classrooms, hostels, lawns, basketball court etc.if you are reported, the school conducts an investigation by going to the ICT department to check activities that go went on that day and location moreover the parents of the kids are forewarned that there is a Zero tolerance to bullying and if they are found guilty of bullying any student, they'll be expelled.infact they're made to sign that agreement (both parents and students) so if you have narcissistic and sociopathic children They won't even feel comfortable staying in such schools
