Foreign Affairs / Re: Taliban 'Worried About Andrew Tate' As They Ask For His Freedom by IslamIsIdiotic: 11:55am On Jan 05, 2023 |
America has been there since October 7th 2001. They invaded just about 3 weeks after the 9/11 attacks. What were so called Taliban doing between October 7th 2001 and 30th August 2021 when America withdrew? Everything about the American presence in Afghanistan happened on America's terms. The Americans invaded when they felt like invading and they left when they felt like leaving. The only thing the Americans did wrong was that they left in a disorganised manner. Let me ask this. If America had said they were going to stay for another 20 years, what would the Taliban have done? 43Ronin: |

Well, given that the Taliban lost millions, I would say they definitely suffered the worst punishment. Like I said, the Americans wanted to introduce democracy and human rights which are concepts that only work with intelligent human beings. They have never been known to work on lower life forms. The most powerful country gave up on Afghanistan as a lost cause. They realised that after spending billions, these people would always remain a lower life form, lower than pig shìt, so they closed shop. Yes they didn't do it in an organised way, but that is the gist of what happened. 43Ronin: 2 Likes 1 Share |

I'm just going to leave this Scripture from Revelations 5:9, after which I won't waste anymore of my time on a perditissimi such as you have proven yourself to be: And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation Kobojunkie: 1 Like |

Well, you've just talked yourself into a bind because the sheer stupidity of everything you said cannot be supported by either Christian or Secular history. The meaning of ALL THE NATIONS in Matthew 28 :19 is clear both to those with a discernible IQ and those who don't have an agenda. Kobojunkie: 1 Like |

For your theory that ALL NATIONS means Israelites in all nations to work, there would have to be identified communities of lost Israelites living in every Nation on the face of the earth. So give me the historical and archaeological for the existence of communities of persons known as lost Israelites living in nations like the Yoruba Nation or the tiv Nation or the Igala Nation or the Junkun nation etc. Kobojunkie: |

Your interpretation may work for some other parts of Scripture (such as the copy paste ones you've been bandying around) but it makes absolutely no sense when applied to Matthew 28:19. In order for your theory to be right, certain facts would have to be accepted which fall outside the boundaries of basic intelligence and common sense. For example, if the Scripture was only meant for the lost children of Israel and if these lost children are (according to you) scattered amongst ALL THE NATIONS, then who are the lost Israelites among the Yorubas, Efiks, Amazonian Indians, Eskimos, Zulus, Cherokees, Aztecs, Scandinavians etc? You still haven't answered my question. Who are the people referenced as ALL THE NATIONS in Matthew 28:19: Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Who are ALL THE NATIONS? Kobojunkie: |
Religion / Re: If Church Doctrines And Dogmas Are Biblical, Why Do They Change? by IslamIsIdiotic: 11:04pm On Jan 01, 2023 |
So what did Jesus mean when He said: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matt. 28:16–20.) Who are ALL NATIONS? Kobojunkie: |

What does Jesus mean in Matthew 24:14 when Jesus says as follows "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." Kobojunkie: |

The world that Jesus died for is the entire of mankind, otherwise John 3:16 makes no sense: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” In Isaiah 42:6 we are explicitly told that the Gentiles are included in Messiah's salvation plan for mankind: I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, And will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, And give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; So clearly, Christ's rescue mission wasn't solely for the Jews but for everyone who believed on His Name. You're the one who claims that doctrines and dogmas of Christianity keep changing, but failed to give just one example to prove your point. The most important doctrine of Christianity is that Christ died for the sins of mankind. I'm not aware that this doctrine has changed any time recently. Kobojunkie: 1 Like |

It's hard to assess the credibility of your claims since you haven't actually mentioned any dogma or doctrine of Christianity which has changed. litigator: |
Family / Re: Why Do Christain Women Hate Polygamy If The Bible Foretold It? by IslamIsIdiotic: 5:00pm On Jan 01, 2023 |
Some of the apostles (like Peter for e.g.) were actually married. We know Peter was a married man because Jesus miraculously healed Peter's mother in law from a deadly illness (Luke 4: 38 to 40) While it is true that Paul regarded celibacy as the best lifestyle for a Christian, that wasn't because he had anything against the institution of marriage, rather it was because from a pragmatic perspective, Paul was the busiest and the most travelled Apostle. Such a lifestyle of constant travel would have been hard on Paul's family if he had a wife and children. However we can see that even though Paul preferred celibacy, he still had a great deal of respect for the institution of marriage as a monogamy because whenever he gave counsel to married couples, it was always couched in language which shows that monogamy is God's preferred type of marriage under the New Testament: 1st Corinthians Chapter 7, verses 1 to 5 Now for the matters you wrote about: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband. The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.. As for Isaiah 4:1, it's really disappointing that a lot of so called Christians want to use this verse as a justification for polygamy without taking it into its full context. Isaiah 4:1 is not a prophecy of the latter days. Rather it is an account of the end result of God's judgment upon Jerusalem and Judeah for their apostasy and rebellion against God as detailed in the entirety of Isaiah Chapter 3. The context of Isaiah 4:1 is that after God has used war, famine and other punishments to reduce the population of men of marriageable age as detailed in Isaiah Chapter 3, the women of Judeah began to prefer polygamy over remaining as widows or spinsters in order to avoid the "reproach" of society. You'll notice that the rest of Isaiah 4 is different from Isaiah 4:1 because the rest of the chapter deals with how Judeah turned away from sin and how God reconciled Himself with His repentant people. litigator: 1 Like |

God created Adam with only one wife, so in God's eyes, monogamy is the best form of marriage. Man created polygamy and under the Old Testament, God still preferred monogamy but He overlooked those who practiced polygamy. Under the New Testament however, it is strictly forbidden for Christians. litigator: 5 Likes 1 Share |
